Prologue - A Fun Day…?

It was a peaceful Saturday morning. Jack, his best friend Sarah and her older brother Alex were walking down the street, making their way to Freddy's Fazbear Mega Pizzaplex.

Even though it is the most popular place in town, Jack had never been there before, he isn't a big fan of crowded and loud places, he'd just usually hang out in the most silent places in town.

The Pizzaplex was Sarah's favorite place.

Jack was looking unusually sad these last couple of weeks, so she decided to take her friend to spend a fun day there with her, which Jack hesitantly agreed to.

"So, who's your favorite Jack?" Sarah asked Jack while playfully shuffling his curly hair, snapping him out of his thoughts.

Jack looked at his friend, who is about his age being only a few months older, she had long black hair, brown eyes and was using incredibly well made makeup, Sarah has always been very worried about her appearance, so it was no surprise for him that she'd want to look her best.

She wore a black jacket and jeans, also holding a Roxanne Wolf plush between her arms.

Jack adjusted his glasses. "I'm sorry, what?"

"I said, who's your favorite animatronic?"

Jack placed a hand on his chin and looked to the side for a brief moment. He never really showed any interest in the Pizzaplex or the famous Glamrocks, he only knew the characters' names because of the endless posters advertising the place around the city and the commercials on the TV, so he had no idea of what they were like in real life.

"Hmm... I don't think I have a favorite yet. It's my first time going there after all."

"Oh yeah," said Sarah "Well, MY favorite is Roxy! I love her hair and her style!" Sarah said enthusiastically while showing her Roxy plush.
"And I'm also absolutely in love with her raceway, I don't wanna brag or anything, but I have one of the highests rankings there." She said proudly.

"Oh, that's cool, I'm happy for you."

"Thanks Jack."

"Roxanne Wolf? Pffft-, back in my days, Foxy was the real deal."

They both looked to Alex, Sarah's 18-year-old brother.

Alex had black hair like Sarah and was using a simple blue t-shirt with jeans.

Obviously, they couldn't enter the Pizzaplex without an adult, and since Sarah's parents were out of town for the weekend, Alex had to be the one to take them there, which he surprisingly agreed to do with no problems.

"Back in my days? Oh come on, you're just 18!" Sarah said, mocking Alex.

"Still 7 years older than you twerp." Said Alex.

Sarah frowned.

The group kept walking for a few more minutes, mostly in silence.

Jack observed the various scenarios they came across the town with amusement.

'God... When was the last time I left my bedroom?'

Jack has been isolating himself in his home ever since... that happened.

He was scared of the outside world, but since Sarah was with him, he felt okay.

Him and Sarah have been friends ever since they were babies, he felt incredibly lucky for having someone like her in his life, she was there to help him during the worst time of his life when everyone else left.

But his inner peace was about to be broken by the thing Alex had to say...

"You know... You two are pretty brave for wanting to go there after the recent incidents..."

Jack looked at Alex. "What incidents?"

"Haven't you seen the news? Apparently, a couple of children have disappeared inside the place... And considering Fazbear's Entertainment past, this can only be a sign of a tragedy waiting to happen..."

Jack tensed up, Alex was right, there were a high amount of disappearances in the region recently...

Truth be told, Jack was scared of pretty much everything that would oppose as a threat at that point, and he absolutely hates himself for that. And after an unfortunate incident a couple of months ago, his already existing anxiety problems got even worse..

But he was also an extremely curious kid...

"W-what happened in the past?" The boy hesitantly asked.

"Well basically..." Alex continued, " A bunch of shit happened in the past, countless fires, child murders, dissapearences, a kid's skull was crushed by an animatronic on his birthday because of his own brother! Pretty fucked up right? It's almost like the company itself is cursed, and now, it's all happening again..."

Jack tensed up even more and anxiously started to fidget his fingers.

"Oh common, you aren't scared are you? What a coward hahaha." Alex said, mocking Jack.

"Shut up Alex! Ugh, you are such an asshole!" Sarah yelled in defense of Jack.

Alex just kept laughing.

Meanwhile, Jack was looking to the ground anxiously, the calmary he was feeling a few minutes ago has been replaced by anxious thoughts.

'Is the place really cursed? What happened to the people that disappeared? Am I safe there? What if I disappear as well? What if-"

His thoughts were interrupted by Sarah placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Don't listen to my stupid brother, he is just trying to scare you, okay?" Sarah said, trying to comfort him.

"But Sarah... He is right, people have really been disappearing... What if we disappear too-"

"But we are not! I have been there countless times, they have great security, we are going to be okay" Sarah said, cutting him off.

Sarah sighed. "Look, I know you have been goin through some shit lately, and I understand that you are feeling scared... But you gotta leave that house dude, isolating yourself is not gonna help at all. Let's just have a fun day together like the good old times and stop worrying about the world for a second, okay?" She said with a soft voice.

Jack sighed. "Okay..." He answered, a bit calmer now.

The group finally arrived at the Pizzaplex, Sarah looked with excitement in her eyes to the giant building in front of them. Jack, on the other side, was hesitant looking at the place.

He heard the sound of a muffled crowd inside the place, even though it was only morning, the place already seemed full.

Jack hated being around crowds...

'Keep yourself calm Jack... They are only people, just blend in and try not to draw attention to yourself, you are going to be fine... you are going to be fine..."

Jack thought to himself, trying to keep his anxiety down.

"Well, let's go then!" Sarah said with excitement filling her voice while entering the place. Jack and Alex followed her.

The moment Jack stepped inside the Pizzaplex, he was flashed by the place's intense lighting.

"Ugh, why is this place so damn bright?!" Jack said with annoyance.

"It's the 80s aesthetics dude, neon lights everywhere." Answered Alex.

"It hurts my eyes."

After a few minutes of registration and getting the necessary tickets, the group made their way to the center of the main lobby and stared at the giant golden statue of Freddy.

Jack looked around the place surprised, he knew the place was big... but not THIS BIG.

The place was filled with neon lights and posters of the four main characters "Glamrock Freddy, Glamrock Chica, Montgomery Gator, Roxanne Wolf"

"So what do we do now?" Jack asks.

"Well, the morning performance will start in a few minutes, so we should get going to the main atrium." Answers Alex.

"So let 's go!" Sarah yells with excitement while running off to a nearby elevator.

While in the elevator, Jack decides to ask Sarah something he has been willing to ask ever since they entered the place..

"So... What are the Glamrock animatronics like? Are they cool?"

"They are AWESOME!" The girl answers with a smile. "They have like, SUPER advanced technology, they can talk to you like a real person! They can also sing, play instruments, give hugs, all that fun stuff! I even managed to talk with Roxy and Freddy once."

"So they are like... Sentient?"

"Yeah, pretty much yes..."

Jack's eyes wided a bit, this place was full of surprises.

"That's impressive..."

The elevator opened its doors, signaling that they had reached their destination.

The group stepped out of the elevator and made their way to the large crowd located in the middle of the atrium who were anxiously awaiting for the performance.

While walking through the crowd, Sarah and Jack made sure to hold hands so as to not get lost from each other in the middle of the madness around them.

"It's starting!" Sarah yelled, pointing a finger to the stage.

The crowd went wild at the sight of the Glamrock band going on stage, the performance was now starting.

The music blasted loudly through the atrium, a bit too loud for Jack's taste.

Jack placed both of his hands on his ears in an attempt to muffle the sound a little.

He looked over to Alex, who seemed to be having a good time with a smile on his face.

He then looked over to Sarah, who was having the time of her life with the performance.

Even if Jack hated loud sounds, he was having fun.

'Huh, this is actually pretty fun! But I'll definitely have a headache after this... Ugh'

After the performance was over, the group made their way to El Chips to have lunch.

Now that the place was calmer, Jack looked around and observed it with more attention.

Like everywhere else in the building, the atrium was filled with neon lights and 80s decoration, there were also entrances to various attractions.

'Roxy Raceway, this must be the attraction Sarah was talking about earlier."

Jack thought to himself as he stared at the entrance from El Chips.

After lunch, Alex said he wanted to have a word with both of them...

"Alright listen here you two, you guys are not babies anymore and can take care of yourselves without me babysitting you, with that said, I have to meet someone right now, so take the passes and do whatever you guys want." Alex said while looking down at both Jack and Sarah.

"Ooohhh~ It's Claire isn't it? That's why you agreed to take us here, she works here doesn't she?" Said Sarah in a teasing tone.

"Who's Claire?" Jack asked with genuine curiosity.

"His crush-"

"Do you ever shut the fuck up?" Alex said with Irritation, cutting off Sarah.

"Do you ever stop being an asshole?" Sarah responded.

Jack rolled his eyes.

'Jesus Christ, do these two ever stop fighting with each other?'

Alex turned his back to them and started walking away.

"Alright I'm going, I'll meet you two later."

"Good riddance!" Sarah shouted.

"So, what do we do now Sarah?"

"Duh, we have fun!" Sarah said while walking away.

"Wait!" Jack shouted.
Sarah turned her head to face the boy. "Huh? What 's wrong?"

"I-I don't feel safe about us roaming around this place alone... What if something happens to us?" Jack said nervously, no matter how much he tried to ignore it, he has been feeling rather strange since he stepped inside the establishment, he couldn't comprehend the feeling exactly... He felt as if something bad was going to happen very soon...

Sarah sighed.

"Jack... You have to get those thoughts out of your mind, look around, everyone's having fun! I told you the place was safe..." Sarah stepped closer and offered a hand for Jack to hold. "I promise nothing bad is going to happen to us, you trust me don't you?"

Jack stared at Sarah with uncertainty...

"Okay..." Jack said as he held his best friend's hand.

"So... Where are we going?" Asked Jack.

"Duh, we are going to the best attraction around here, Roxy Raceway!" Sarah answered with excitement.

"Oh... Alright then." Jack answered with an apathetic tone.

'Racing huh? A bit too intense for my taste... But whatever, it might be fun.'

As soon as the duo made their way to Roxy's Raceway entrance, Sarah's expression fell...

"IT'S UNDER MAINTENANCE?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" Sarah yelled with clear irritation.

"Oh wow, that's a bummer..." Jack places a hand behind his neck. "But it's okay, there are plenty of other attractions we could-"

"NO! The other ones are boring! Plus, I have never raced with you before... Ugh, this is so stupid..." Sarah ranted while stomping her feet. "They always warn about this stuff a couple of days before an attraction goes into maintenance... But they didn't this time..."

Jack looked around and spotted a young Pizzaplex employee nearby.

"Maybe we could ask someone what happened." Jack said while pointing to the employee.

"Good idea..." Sarah took a few steps towards the employee, before being stopped by Jack on her tracks.

"I don't think you are in a good mood right now, let me handle this, okay?"

Jack then proceeds to turn away from Sarah and makes his way to the employee.

"Excuse me, sir..." The employee looked down at Jack, the boy couldn't help but notice their tired eyes, as if they hadn't slept in days. They seemed to be around the age of Alex.

"What do you want, brat?" They say in an insulting tone.

'Jeez... How rude.'

"Could you please tell us why Roxy's attraction is closed?" Jack asked, still trying to sound nice.

The employee sighed. "We had a little "incident" yesterday, the raceway will be closed for the weekend now."

"Oh, alright... Thank you sir."

"Whatever." The employee then walked away from Jack and Sarah.

"You are so polite that it makes me dizzy."

"Huh?" Jack turned to face his friend, who had a smile on her face.

"If it were me, I'd have lost my shit at that jerk."

"Well, they might just be having a bad day, so why make things worse, right?"

Sarah laughed. "You know, this is one of the things I appreciate most about you." She said while stepping closer to Jack.

"You always try to handle a situation in the most mature way possible, always keeping yourself calm no matter how awful the other person is... It's honestly impressive."

Jack couldn't help blushing.

"T-thank you..." He answered with a smile.

Sarah placed a hand on her chin with a frown. "Well, it still sucks that we can't go to Roxy's Raceway."

After a few seconds, her frown slowly turned into a smirk.

'This can't be good.' Jack thought to himself.

"You know... Aren't rules made to be broken after all?"

'I was right.'

"What if I told you I know another way in...?" Sarah said with a mischievous tone...

Jack should have seen this coming... Sarah wasn't the best at following rules, she is what most people would call a "troublemaker". Despite her sweet personality, she could be a pain to deal with.

"No way Sarah! We are not breaking in, you are going to get us in trouble... again." Said Jack as he crossed his arms.

"Oh come onnnnnnn, no one will find out if we're sneaky! Of course we won't be able to ride the karts, but at least I'll be able to show you the place!"

Sarah was trying her best to convince Jack, who had an angry look on his face.

"No one is gonna find out? There are security bots and security cameras everywhere around here!" Argued Jack.

"The security bots are empty head idiots and also, the security cameras inside Roxy Raceway don't work during maintenance periods." Sarah argued back.

"...What? The security cameras don't work during maintenance?... That literally doesn't make any sense."

Sarah simply shrugged.

"Also... How the heck do you know that? And also how do you know another way inside?"

Jack kept his assertive tone.

"Well... Let 's just say... It's not my first time breaking into Roxy's Raceway while in maintenance..."

Jack sighed. "Of course it's not..."

"Oh come on, I just want to show you my favorite hobby... We go in, I show you the place and we go out, quick and easy."

Jack shook his head and looked to the side.

"Jack... Please... I promise we won't be caught."

Jack looked back at Sarah.

"...You promise?"

Sarah's expression lit up.

"Oh boy, you are making me make a lot of promises today huh?" Sarah chuckled.

"Yeah, I promise... Now follow me."

'This is going to end badly... I can feel it.'

Jack carefully followed Sarah to her "secret entrance", and in no time, they were inside Roxy's Raceway.

Jack stared with amusement at the place, it was much bigger than he imagined.

The neon lights here weren't as annoying as in the rest of the pizzaplex, which pleased Jack's eyes. The racetrack looked amazing along with the race themed decoration, he quickly understood why this was Sarah's favorite place, it fitted her adventurous personality nicely.

Meanwhile, Sarah was feeling happy at the sight of her best friend genuinely smiling. She hadn't seen Jack actually smile in so long, she felt glad that she was helping him feel better again, even if by a little bit.

Sarah placed a hand on Jack's shoulder.

"So, pretty cool right?"

"Yeah! It's bigger than I expected, this place sure is full of surprises."

Sarah giggled. "I wish you could have seen me race..."

"Don't worry, I'm sure you are great at it."

"Yeah, a little haha."

But then, Jack's smile quickly faded out as he realized they were spending a bit too much time in an unauthorized area.

"Sarah, we should go I don't want us to get in trouble-"

"W-Wait! I have something for you! Ugh, how could I forget about it!"

Sarah yelled, cutting him off.

"Huh?"

"It's a surprise! Stay here right here while I find it!" Sarah said before quickly running off.

"W-wait! Come back! Where are you going?!" Yelled Jack.

"Don't worry! I'll be quick!" Sarah yelled back, vanishing from Jack's sight as she went off to get his surprise.

"Goddamnit!" Jack yelled to himself with frustration.

Jack looks around nervously, his fears slowly building up to him as he realized he was completely alone.

Jack sat on the floor, anxiously waiting for his friend to come back...

2 minutes had passed, Sarah still hadn't come back.

'What is taking her so long? Is she okay? Should I go look for her?... No... She's okay, I don't wanna ruin her surprise...'

Another 5 minutes passed. It's been 7 minutes since Sarah left him, he was starting to get worried...

'No... This is not normal... That's it, I'm going to go look for her!'

Jack quickly got back on his feet and slowly started to walk around the place.

"Sarah!? Sarah, are you okay?!" He yelled for his friend.

No response.

His anxiety grew bigger.

"Sarah?! Where are you?!" He yelled again, a bit louder this time.

Still no response.

His eyes widened as he slowly started to panic.

"Sarah?! Come on this isn't funny! Come out already!"

As expected, no response from Sarah.

He anxiously started to fidget his fingers.

'No, No, No No, No, this is bad, what do I do? Should I get help? But from whom? Alex? The Staff Bots? Wait... How do I even get out of here?'

Jack desperately tried to stop his racing thoughts.

"S-Sarah?!" He called out again, his voice now shaky from intense fear.

When suddenly... A spine chilling sound echoed through the place, a distorted and evil giggle.

" Jack..."

Jack quickly turned around.

"W-Who is there?!" He yelled.

"Are you having fun yet?~"

Jack looked in shock at the bizarre figure suddenly emerging from the shadows.

The person behind the grotesque costume appeared to be female, she wore a poorly stitched white bunny costume with a big blue bow tie around her neck. Her face had a wide smile and two big glowing eyes that stared back at his soul.

His blood went cold, he wanted to run away but his body wouldn't move, he was paralysed from fear.

"Shhhhhh..." The bunny lady whispered while placing a finger between her wide mouth.

Jack felt dizzy, his vision slowly faded out... He passed out, falling hard on the ground.

"Night nighty~"

...

Jack slowly opened his eyes, only to face darkness... His entire body was aching, especially his head.

"Uh... W-what... What happened?" He mumbled to himself.

Jack slowly stood up and placed both of his hands on his head, clutching it firmly.

He was confused, he couldn't remember what happened to him... Or where he was.

His consciousness slowly started to come back to him.

'I went with Sarah to the Mega Pizzaplex... We watched the show... We had lunch... We went to Roxy Raceway... Then...'

His eyes widened as he remembered the bunny lady.

He desperately looked around, trying to observe the place he encountered himself in.

But it was useless, it was an extremely dark room, he could only see things he assumed were boxes.

'Oh God... was I kidnapped? W-where am I? Where's Sarah? Where's Alex? How much time has passed since I collapsed? T-this can't be happening... I don't wanna disappear like those kids! What should I do? What should I do? What should I do? What should I do?'

Jack felt his chest tighten, his heart started racing as a wave of anxiety hit him, bringing thousands of confusing thoughts to his head.

He felt his eyes start to tear up.

'No! Pull yourself together dammit! This is NOT the time to break down! You gotta think... You gotta think quickly! There needs to be a way out of here... There needs to be...'

His eyes were now used to the darkness, so he could see a little clearer. He saw several boxes surrounding him on shelves.

'Boxes huh? Is this some sort of storage room? Am I still in the Pizzaplex?'

His eyes then were locked staring at a cylindrical object in one of the shelves.

'Is that what I think it is?'

Jack slowly approached the object and grabbed it, confirming his suspicions.

'A flashlight! Just what I needed!'

Jack turned the flashlight on and analyzed the place with more calm now.

The room was dirty and small, all the boxes had the Pizzaplex logo, confirming that he was indeed in the Pizzaplex.

He saw a door and quickly ran to open it. Unsurprisingly, it was locked.

He looked for another exit, his flashlight shined on the ventilation grid in one of the walls.

"The ventilation system! That 's my exit!"

Jack stacked up some boxes to reach the ventilation.

'Hmm, I'll need a screwdriver to open it...'

Jack searched the storage for a screwdriver, and after a few minutes, much to the boy's convenience, he found a perfect one.

He quickly ran up to the ventilation and opened, shining his flashlight inside of it.

Jack was grossed out by the sight of the dirty ventilation tube filled with cobwebs.

He really didn't want to cram himself in that small and dirty place.

'It's... The only way out...'

Jack breathed in and out slowly, placed both of his shaky hands on the ventilation system and pulled himself in.

'I'm so scared...' He thought to himself as he crawled through the ventilation system, desperately trying to find an exit, in which he was successful after a few minutes.

Jack jumped out of the vent and came across an unusual scenario. He was in a narrow and simple hallway, nothing compared to the luxurious and huge spaces of the pizzaplex.

'I must be somewhere in the backrooms of the Pizzaplex, crap! I need to find a way back to the main area-'

"Hihihihi... Hello there Jack~"

Jack's blood went cold after hearing that same voice again.

The boy slowly turned around and yelped at the sight of that same bunny lady staring at him from across the hallway with one of her hands behind her back.

"Ownnn... Please don't be scared... We may have had a rough start before, but why don't we try to get to know each other, huh?" She said while manically giggling between words.

"Who are you?! What do you want from me?! Where 's Sarah!?" Shouted Jack.

Even with his shivering body and shaky voice, he still tried to sound somewhat threatening to her.

"Easy there buddy, one question at a time hihihi..." She pointed a finger to herself. "My name's Vanny, nice to meet you~" She giggled once more. "Don't worry about your friend, Sarah is fine, but she isn't part of your side of the game yet."

Jack raised a brow.

"G-game? My side? What are you talking about?"

"Don't you like playing games Jack...?" Vanny slowly pulled her hand out of her back, revealing a large kitchen knife.

Jack instantly stepped back.

"That's what we are going to do tonight Jack... We are going to play a game... Why don't we start with hide and seek huh? You have 30 seconds~"

Vanny started to laugh maniacally as she buried her face in her hands and started to count.

"One~... Two~..."

Without thinking twice, Jack turned around and started running the fastest he could.

Jack ran and ran through the backstage halls, trying to find a way to the main guest's area.

He saw a set of two doors up ahead and quickly ran into them.

'That must be it!'

He slammed the doors open, he expected to find the same crowded Pizzaplex he was when he first came to place...But he was shocked at the sight of the Main Atrium completely empty and silent.

'What?! Where 's everyone?'

Wait...

For how much time did I black out? What time is it?'

"Jaaaaackkk~ Where are youuuu?~"

Jack immediately started running... And he didn't stop. He ran and ran through the Pizzaplex without a certain destination, he ran through doors, passed through rooms and didn't pay attention to them, he just wanted to get away from that psycho. He kept running without paying attention to his surroundings... Until he couldn't run anymore, it was to breath, his body started to ache from exhaustion, he fell to his knees on the ground, panting.

'I ran through this entire place and didn't find a single living soul! Am I alone here?"Jack placed both hands on his head.

'There's always a solution... Goddamnit, find the solution Jack!'

The boy looked around and observed the place. He instantly recognized it as he had seen it on a map early that day, it was Rockstar Row, where the Glamrock's Animatronics green rooms were located.

'The animatronics... If they really are as advanced as people say they are... They could help me!'

But as mentioned before, Jack had no idea of how each one of them behaved... He stared at the green rooms, he had four options: Glamrock Freddy, Roxanne Wolf, Montgomery Gator and Glamrock Chica.

Jack started to get angry as he didn't have any data to make a good decision.

"Who should I choose?"

When suddenly, his eyes were locked in one specific animatronic...

Roxanne Wolf.

He stared at her room, reminding him of Sarah.

'That's Sarah's favorite animatronic...'

For a reason he couldn't fully comprehend, the association of the animatronic with his best friend made him feel as if the wolf animatronic was the right choice.

But of course, that was a shot in the dark, a decision fully based on assumptions and not logic, the exact type of decisions he hated. But he was desperate for help, and he had to act quickly or else Vanny might find him.

'Here goes nothing...'

Jack thought as he quickly walked to Roxanne's room.
