Dark skin, blush-colored hair, and a cynical smile. Those superficial characteristics making up the character in question.
Of course, a living thing can't be defined by what can be seen. Within this character's heart was a lifetime of ridicule, countless emotional scars both time and love could never heal. Most of all, depravity field by seething hatred resided in this young woman's very soul
After living a lifetime under the heels of her step-sisters and step-mother, enduring the abuse in the house she lived in, she decided she had enough.
What's wrong with hitting back at those who have hit you? Why not make them suffer just as you did? Better yet, make them suffer more than you ever did…
"What a sneer"
"What a laugh"
Cinderella looks above her head to see two puppets snicker, holding their hands to their mouths, hovering in the air while looking down at her.
"She's covered in soot"
"She's covered in cinders"
Having struck a nerve, Cinderella lashed out, attempting to grab either Parrah or Noya, whichever came first, but to no avail. She settled instead for glaring at the two, then sitting back down on the ground, spitting on the dirt by her feet
"What do you want?"
"How cold…"
"How unfriendly"
"Out with it"
"What do you think of your story?" asked Parrah, tilting her head
"I hated it, but who gives a damn?"
"Would you change it" added Noya
"To do what, live happily ever after!?" Cinderella laughed maniacally out loud, shaking her head with a cruel, cold smile plastered on her face, "My story has ended, but that superficial prince was far from a happy ending. Who could fall for a man who couldn't even remember your face"
The puppets shook their heads mechanically in unison, implying that was not what they meant. They were well aware of the "happy ending" someone like her want
"You could wrong those who wronged you"
"You could torment your tormentors"
"Go on…"
"Just bring back your authors. For a price of course"
"After the sacrifice, they can rewrite your story, even bend it to your will"
Cinderella's eyes shone brightly, a smirk forming on her lips as the got back up again to face the puppets at eye level. She stared deeply inside Noya's eyes, not letting him look away. Without warning, a gunshot was heard and Noya moved quickly to the left, meeting Cinderella's open palm as she swiped the puppets head clean off its shoulders.
She tossed the head up in the air as she brought back the fired pistol to its holster on her waist. Noya's body stood lifeless in the air while his head was screaming for his head to return to his body. Grabbing a tuft of his hair, Cinderella brought the head to meet her eyes and said slowly
"I'll pay that price, so who do I kill"
"Everything" spoke Parrah, shrugging her shoulders
"Anything that gets in the way" added Noya, spitting the words out as though they were a curse
Cinderella tossed the head to Parrah who simply smacked it in the direction of Noya's body. The headless puppet caught the head and placed it back on his neck, not even fazed at Parrah's mistreatment.
"Anything will do so long as I kill?" Cinderella asked with a grin
"As long as it breaths"
"So long its heart beats"
"Watch out dear sisters," Cinderella laughed while walking deep into the forest, "You cut up your feet for that revolting prince, who remembered not my face, forced to rely on a glass slipper instead"
"A pitiful man"
"A model prince"
"I don't need a fairy this time around. Forget the carriage, forget the dress and forget about time" Cinderella yelled out, "I'll do things my way. I'll bring them to hell"
"Her revenge is fair?"
"It is, in her eyes"
"Is that her depravity"
"It's what she calls justice"
"Is that what is just?"
"Let the other decide"
"The one with a heart pure as snow?"
"Or so she likes to believe…"
