A maiden, with pure white hair, and a matching white dress stained with red, was kneeling in front of a bed of roses. She picked one up, it's thorns cutting into her fingertips, a few drops of blood splattered onto the dirt

"I will repay that debt, no matter the cost"

She took in a deep breath and picked another rose from the bunch, gently lifting it up, being careful as to not injure herself again. While she did so, a pair of shadows appeared above hers, prompting her to stand up quickly and face the unknown pair while picking up her weapon

"Could you really call it a debt?"

"No matter the cost?"

"Puppets?" Snow White asked herself, keeping a firm grasp on her scythe, taking a step forward in case things got ugly

"Is it to your authors?"

"Will you really pay anything?"

Seeing that the two mysterious puppets weren't a threat, her grip on the massive weapon besides her loosened, and she sighed in relief. She wouldn't have to kill again today

"I will repay my debt," Snow White said firmly, "I owe it to my authors for giving me life"

"Then walk the path dyed in red"

"You said you'd do anything"

"Dyed in… red?" Snow White asks, looking down at the flowers she had dropped, crumpled from the step she took while standing up

"Just smite what is evil"

"Nightmares, monsters, kill what you deem to be wrong"

Snow White picked up a rose with her fingers and spun it a few times before facing Parrah, who blinked in succession before speaking again

"So long as it's just, you won't have a problem"

"No… I suppose not"

"You want your authors alive once more?" Parrah asked

"Of course"

"Will your heart waver while slaying an enemy" chuckled Noya

"Never"

"I see no problem" Parrah shrugged with rigid arms

"Off with their arms" Noya giggled silently

"Nightmares are cruel"

"They don't deserve to live"

"Off with their legs"

"It is only just for me to take them down"

"If it's what you so believe"

"Of with their heads"

The two puppets went on and on towards Snow White, who tried to drown their empty, monotone voices out of her head, trying instead to focus on the task she had just been given

To kill meant to snuff out another's life, regardless of it being a foe. Taking a life would make her carry the weight of that life in her heart. She had no idea how many she would kill before her authors could return, so Snow White vowed her soul would remain unwavering regardless of the weight she would be forced to carry. She'd drown out the voices of sorrow, the cries of anguish and screams of pain while her weapon cut into each sacrifice she took care of

It was all for her beloved authors after all. Surely it was right, after all, for what other purpose would her authors make her. She had to fight, to kill, to slaughter those who were evil and unjust

While thinking those thoughts, Snow White walked away, following a path deeper into the forest than she already was, ready to fight anything that stood in her way.

"Is it just?" Parrah asked looking down at the roses left behind

"Is she just?" Noya corrected, looking around carefully

"Will she meet with the others?"

"There is still another"

"The only one with doubts?"

"Even the boy let the staff take over"

"The girl has her role"

"It is her fate"

"She is chained to her fate"

"Bondage keeps her going"

"She can't take another path"

"Restricted to her future?"

"Bondage is her sin"
