Flora and Roxy, with Spike and Chomper in their hands, flew quickly in the direction where one of the elemental raptors went.

"Can you see it, Chomper?" asked Roxy.

"I think we're close." said Chomper staring at the ground below them, following the raptor's trail.

They flew around for a couple more seconds until...

"There!" shouted Flora as the four looked down to see the plant raptor running fast through a wooded area.

"We have to stop him." said Chomper.

"I got this. Winter Rose!" shouted Flora shooting into the raptor's path, causing thorny roots to pop up out of the ground and form a barrier that caused the raptor to stop.

Then the raptor sensed something behind him and turned to see the two fairies and the two dinosaurs land.

"This is as far as you've come, you evil sharptooth." Chomper said.

The raptor responded to that with a growl as he positioned himself to attack.

"Kids, stay back. We'll take care of him." said Roxy.

"We will help you in case of need." said Chomper before retreating with Spike to give them space for the two fairies and the elemental raptor.

"Come on. Let's see what you can do." said Flora motioning with her hand for him to come to them.

The plant raptor heeded that gesture and lunged at them, but the two took flight to dodge a slashing attempt with his tail leaf.

"Autumn Wind!" shouted Flora shooting a magic beam that hit the plant raptor's back full on, knocking him down and leaving a hole in his body. "What do you know? That was easy enough." said Flora.

Suddenly, everyone's mouth dropped open as the vines that made up the raptor's body regenerated and plugged the hole before the raptor stood up and turned his gaze to the nature fairy and roared at her.

Before Flora could react, the raptor threw a series of razor-sharp leaves at her from his mane.

"Enchanted Cloak!" shouted Roxy stepping in front of her friend and summoning a barrier that protected them from the enemy attack. "Okay. It might not be that easy."

The plant raptor leapt towards them, but they dodged it in time. However, taking advantage of the fact that his back was to them, he shot his spines like bullets.

The two fairies summoned their shields so that they could protect themselves from the spines.

"Summer Thunder!" shouted Flora shooting a magical beam that caused a series of vines to grow out of the ground and wrap themselves around the raptor, trapping it in the process.

"We've got him now." said Roxy.

But then, the raptor used the sharp leaves of his claws and tail to cut through the vines and break free.

It let out a roar at the two fairies before leaping toward them.

"Wolf Talon!" shouted Roxy reacting quickly and shooting a magic beam that struck the raptor, destroying much of his body in the process and knocking him to the ground.

But alas, just as before, he regenerated and got back up.

Quickly, the plant raptor once again launched his sharp leaves from his mane and the two fairies proceeded to dodge them, though a couple of those leaves ended up grazing Flora's arm and leg, creating small cuts in the process and causing her to groan a bit from the pain.

Spike and Chomper were behind a tree watching the fight and were amazed by the plant raptor's abilities and frightened by how badly their friends were being hurt.

Spike couldn't stand to see his new friend being hurt and tried to throw himself into the battle.

"No, Spike. That fast biter is much more dangerous than we thought." said Chomper.

Spike answered him with a groan of sadness and frustration.

"I know you want to help, but what can we do against a sharptooth that heals with every attack?" asked Chomper.

Spike started to think of some plan to take down the plant raptor and when he remembered what he was made of, a great idea formed in his head.

Since he couldn't tell his friend in words, he started drawing pictures in the dirt.

"What's up, Spike? Do you have any plans?" asked Chomper.

Spike nodded his head shortly before he finished with his drawing.

Chomper looked at the drawing closely to guess what it was and could see that the drawing was that of a flame of fire.

"Fire? That's it! Leaves turn to dust in fire." said Chomper.

Spike nodded in agreement that this was his plan.

"But where do we get the fire? Bloom is too far away from us." said Chomper starting to think of an alternative. "I know." said Chomper before picking up two stones from the ground. "Let's try this." said Chomper before starting to bang the stones together on a branch, releasing sparks in the process.

The process took a while, but in the end, they managed to create a small fuse on the branch. Both dinosaurs blew a bit until in the end, a flame was generated at the tip of the branch.

"We've done it. Spike, take the branch and wait for the right moment. I'll lure it over here." said Chomper receiving a nod from his friend.

Meanwhile, Flora and Roxy had been continuing their fight against the plant raptor, but despite the damage taken from each attack, he would regenerate and then attack with his spines or sharp leaves.

"Autumn Wind!" shouted Flora shooting a magic beam.

"Wolf Talon!" shouted Roxy shooting her own magic beam.

Both attacks hit the plant raptor, destroying him from the waist up, but within seconds he was restored and ready to attack again.

"It's no use. We'll never finish this way." said Flora.

"HEY!" the two fairies and the elemental raptor turned their heads to the side to look at Chomper. "Why don't you pick on someone just as ugly as you?" asked Chomper before giving him a raspberry.

The plant raptor responded with a growl before running towards Chomper, who wasted no time in running away from him.

"Chomper, no!" shouted Roxy very worried for her friend.

When the raptor reached the last place he saw the sharptooth, he started to look around. Luckily, he didn't notice Spike approaching him from behind with a branch with a flame in his mouth.

He placed the flame near his tail and waited for it to take effect.

"Hey, bully." the plant raptor turned his gaze to the front to see Chomper. "Better look at your tail, buddy."

The plant raptor was confused until his sense of smell picked up a burning odor and when he turned his head back, he saw his tail on fire, causing him to panic.

By the time the two fairies arrived, they saw the plant raptor moving back and forth, trying to put out the flames with zero results and in the end, the flames consumed him and he let out a roar of pain as he was turned to dust.

The two girls were shocked to learn that small dinosaurs accomplished what it took them so long to do.

"Are you okay?" asked Chomper.

"We're fine, but what about you? What you did was very dangerous." said Roxy.

"We know, but we had to do something to help you." said Chomper.

"And you did." said Flora before bending down and stroking Spike's head. "You've been very brave, both of you." said Flora getting a lick from the spiketail in the face, which caused her to giggle a little.

In another part of the Mysterious Beyond, Layla, who had Ducky in her hands, was flying quickly with Musa and Petrie, following the trail of another of the elemental raptors.

"Are you sure this is the way?" asked Layla.

"Pretty sure. One of those Velociraptors took this path." said Musa.

"It true. Me see it with me own eyes." said Petrie.

After a while more flying, Ducky spotted their target.

"Guys, I see it." said Ducky pointing to the ground.

Looking down, they could see the ice raptor running across a field of geysers.

"Well this is as far as it's gone. Harmonic Attack!" shouted Musa shooting a magic beam in front of the raptor, which caused him to stop and turn around to see the two fairies landing as Ducky and Petrie took off to be safe.

"Let's see what you can do." said Layla.

The ice raptor roared at them before swinging his tail, causing several icicles of ice to be flung towards them, but they moved out of the way in time

"Morphix Wave!" shouted Layla shooting a magic beam that hit the elemental raptor, knocking him down and breaking half of his head. "Is it over?" asked Layla seeing the opponent knocked down.

But then, the destroyed part of the head regenerated and the ice raptor stood up ready to attack.

"I think there's your answer." said Musa.

The ice raptor let out a roar at them before charging towards them with his claws at the ready, but the two fairies took flight.

"Harmonic Attack!" shouted Musa shooting a magic beam, but the ice raptor dodged it before shooting a pair of icicles at her which she dodged, but in doing so, ducked low enough for the raptor to attack her with his pointed tail. "Sonic Screen!" shouted Musa quickly summoning a shield that defended her from the attack, but she ended up being pushed back.

"Andros Hurricane!" shouted Layla shooting a sphere of morphix that hit the raptor from the side, sending it to the side and knocking him down with a deep hole in his body. "Are you okay?" asked Layla.

"I'm fine. I was able to defend myself in time." said Musa just as the two saw the ice raptor regenerate again and get up.

"I think this is going to be harder than we thought." said Layla.

"We can't give up now. We'll keep going until he finally falls." said Musa as she and her friend prepared to keep fighting the elemental raptor.

Ducky and Petrie were on one side of the geyser field watching the battle.

"Oh, no, no, no. This is too bad." said Ducky with horror and concern.

"We gotta do something." said Petrie.

"But that fast biter has magical powers and heals with every attack. It will be very difficult. Yep, yep, yep." said Ducky.

That's when a geyser jumped next to them, which startled them a little, but that was enough to give the flyer an idea.

"Hey, me have idea. We use jumping waters against fast biter." said Petrie.

"Oh, what a good idea. Yep, yep, yep. I'll let you know when it's time. You go distract him in the meantime." said Ducky.

"Got it." said Petrie before flying off toward the ice raptor.

The two fairies kept dodging the elemental raptor's icicles and claws and every time they launched an attack, he would regenerate right away or sometimes dodge them.

"This isn't working. We have to try something else." said Layla.

Suddenly, before the two could do anything, Petrie got on top of the ice raptor and poked his head to get his attention. The elemental raptor tried to catch him with teeth and claws, but Petrie nimbly maneuvered around him to dodge his attacks.

"Petrie, get away from him!" exclaimed Musa.

Petrie averted his gaze to look at the music fairy, which caused the raptor to hold him in his jaws. Fortunately, Petrie noticed and managed to escape a second before being eaten.

Meanwhile, Ducky stood near a geyser hole, listening intently as if expecting to hear something. Shortly thereafter, that something reached her ear.

"Petrie, bring him over here!" shouted Ducky.

Petrie heard his friend's call and flew off with the ice raptor in pursuit in the direction of the swimmer.

"A little more. A little more." said Ducky just as Petrie passed over her and the ice raptor stepped in front of her. "Now!" shouted Ducky as the geyser the elemental raptor was standing on exploded, sending him flying upward before falling to the ground. "Now, girls! Now's your chance!"

"Morphix Net!" shouted Layla throwing out ropes of morphix that wrapped around the ice raptor, restricting his movements.

"Stereo Crash!" shouted Musa shooting sound waves that made the ice raptor scream in pain as cracks began to form all over his body.

Soon after, the ice raptor broke into pieces and, to everyone's relief, didn't regenerate.

"Hooray! Evil sharptooth defeated!" shouted Petrie excitedly before being grabbed by Musa.

"Petrie, that was the most reckless thing I've ever seen!" said Musa before hugging the flyer. "Don't you ever do anything like that again, do you hear me?"

"Yes, you could have gotten hurt." said Layla.

"We told you we wouldn't stand around knowing our friends were in trouble. No, no, no." said Ducky.

"Besides, if were not for us, you would never defeat ice sharptooth." said Petrie.

"I guess you are right." said Musa with a smile.

Stella, who was carrying Cera in her arms, was flying alongside Tecna, who was holding Ruby in her arms in the direction another of the elemental raptors went.

"Are we going the right way?" asked Cera.

"This is the direction we were told another one of those creatures went." said Tecna.

"I hope we find it as soon as possible." said Stella.

"No need to wait so long to find it, because I found it before I waited so long to find it." said Ruby pointing to the ground.

The other three turned their gaze down to see the metal raptor running across a meadow.

"Let's make sure it doesn't keep moving." said Tecna.

"I'm on it. Solar Storm!" shouted Stella shooting a magical sphere that hit the ground in front of the elemental raptor, causing an explosion that forced him to back up and turn around to see the two fairies landing.

"You stay to that side." said Tecna.

"No way. You're not going to handle this alone." said Cera unwilling to back down.

"Cera, would you stop being stubborn for a second and understand the situation?" asked Stella looking at the threehorn with a frown.

"She's right. We may have faced fast biters before, but this fast biter isn't like any we've faced before." said Ruby.

"*Sigh of frustration* Okay, but if things end up going bad, I'll step in." said Cera.

"Then we'd better get this over with as soon as possible." said Tecna before the two dinosaurs retreated to a safe area while the two fairies positioned themselves to fight the metal raptor.

Said raptor gave them a roar before quickly running towards them and trying to hit them with his sledgehammer tail, but they dodged it by flying away.

"Tecno Shock!" shouted Tecna shooting a magic beam that hit the elemental raptor's back, but only succeeded in pushing him to the side.

Before she could react, the raptor swung his tail, shooting a series of sword-sharp blades in the process.

"Sirius' Shield!" shouted Stella stepping in front of her friend and summoning a shield that blocked the blades.

"Okay, this may be tougher than we could have imagined." said Tecna.

The metal raptor let out another roar at them before leaping towards them with his sharp claws ready to slash, but they dodged to the side to dodge it and when he landed on the ground, he threw his blades again, but they dodged them as well.

"Let's see if you can handle this. Universe of Light!" shouted Stella unleashing a glare that forced the metal raptor to close his eyes as he roared in pain. "Now, Tecna!"

"Mega Watt!" shouted Tecna shooting a magical beam that struck the elemental raptor and sent him flying until he slammed into a rock, knocking him down in the process.

"I hope that's enough to finish him off." said Tecna hoping the fight would be over.

However, it turned out to be wrong when they saw the metal raptor get up with a small dent due to the collision with the rock.

"Come on! We attacked it with everything we had and that's all we got?" asked Stella in surprise and frustration.

"It seems that being made of metal, it's tougher than we thought." said Tecna.

The metal raptor let out a ferocious roar at them before throwing several blades at them.

The two fairies dodged the blades, but just as Stella dodged another, she turned to the side in time to see the elemental raptor leaping toward her with the spiked ball on his tail ready to strike. Reacting quickly, she summoned a shield that protected her from the attack, but the force was so great that it pushed her back to the ground.

Fortunately, Tecna shot a magic beam that knocked the metal raptor back, giving her friend time to get up and return to the battle.

Cera and Ruby were behind a rock watching the battle and they could tell it wasn't going well for their friends.

"That's it. I'm going to do something." said Cera.

"But what, Cera? You've seen that fast biter. He's harder than a rock. And that means he's harder than a normal fast biter." said Ruby.

"Didn't you see him, Ruby? When that fast biter hit that rock from before, he got a wound in his body. That means he's not as tough as he looks." said Cera.

"Mmm. Now that you say that, it's true. We could hit him with a rock hard enough to hurt him badly, but where do we get a rock hard enough to hurt him badly?" asked Ruby.

Cera looked around as she thought of some plan and that's when she saw a huge rock at the edge of a small cliff nearby.

"I think I have an idea." said Cera.

Meanwhile, the two fairies continued their fight against the metal raptor.

"Solar Storm!" shouted Stella shooting a magic sphere.

"Techno Crash!" shouted Tecna shooting a magical beam.

Unfortunately, the metal raptor dodged the first attack and although the second attack hit him, his metal skin resisted the attack. Quickly, he counterattacked by shooting his blades, but the two fairies summoned their shields to block them.

"Yikes. There's got to be something we can do." said Stella.

Suddenly, the three heard a hiss and turned their heads to the side to see Ruby.

"Hey, sharptooth. Bet you don't get me." said Ruby before sticking her tongue out of her.

"Ruby, get out of here!" yelled Tecna warning her friend.

The metal raptor snarled at the fast runner before running towards her, who fled soon after.

"After them! Quick!" exclaimed Stella before the two fairies quickly flew towards them to avoid a possible tragedy.

Ruby ran with all her might to stay away from the elemental raptor that was chasing her.

She kept running until she reached the cliff from before.

"I'm here, Cera! Get ready!" said Ruby.

Cera stood on top of the cliff in front of the big rock. She snorted a little through her nose, dragged a paw along the ground and then charged towards the rock and when she was halfway up, she jumped up and hit the rock with her head.

Despite that blow only pushing it a little, due to it being so close to the edge, it was enough to cause the rock to start falling just as the metal raptor was passing by, causing the rock to fall on top of him and crush him.

"We did it, Ruby!" said Cera as she climbed down to stand next to her friend. "We're done with that evil sharptooth."

"It looks like your plan did prove effective." said Ruby.

"Did you doubt it?" asked Cera with a smile.

"Girls!" shouted Stella as she and Tecna arrived on the scene. "Are you all right?"

"Better than fine. We took down the sharptooth." Ruby said pointing to the rock where they could see the tail with the spiked ball of the metal raptor that wasn't moving at all.

"Still, what you did was crazy. You could have hurt yourselves." said Tecna.

"Maybe, but I already told you I would intervene if things went wrong and by doing so, we got rid of the problem." said Cera.

"As they say, well ends what begins well." said Ruby.

"Can't argue with that." said Stella with a shrug.

"Yeah, you did a good job in the end." said Tecna with a smile.

Bloom was carrying Littlefoot as she went flying quickly in the direction the elemental raptor went.

"Are you okay, Littlefoot? Am I going too fast for you?" asked Bloom.

"I'm fine. We need to find that fast biter as soon as possible." said Littlefoot.

Bloom nodded in agreement with the longneck before turning her gaze to the front and that's when, she found it.

"There!" said Bloom as the two saw the fire raptor run along the bottom of a cliff.

Bloom climbed down until she was at the edge of the cliff, where she set Littlefoot down.

"I'll go get him. You stay here in the meantime." said Bloom.

"But I want to help you." said Littlefoot.

"Please, Littlefoot. I don't want you to get hurt." said Bloom.

Littlefoot wanted to say no, but he couldn't help but look at the worried look on his friend's face. So, regretfully, he nodded in acceptance before Bloom flew toward the fire raptor.

However, just because she asked him to stay out of the way didn't mean he wasn't nearby, so the longneck decided to follow them.

The fire raptor continued on his way until suddenly a sphere of fire hit the ground in front of him, causing an explosion that forced him to stop.

"This is as far as you've come." the fire raptor turned around to see Bloom flying away with a scowl on her face. "You're not taking another step."

The fire raptor roared at her before shooting a fireball out of his mouth, which Bloom dodged.

"Sorry, but you're not the only one who knows how to do that. Dragon Heart!" shouted Bloom shooting a magical sphere that impacted on him, causing a curtain of smoke.

When the smoke cleared, to the fire fairy's surprise, the fire raptor was unharmed from the attack.

"Yikes." commented Bloom as she realized that her attacks might have no effect on him.

The fire raptor let out a roar at the fire fairy before leaping towards her with claws poised to attack.

"Flaming Armor!" shouted Bloom summoning a shield with which she shielded herself from the attack before using it to push the elemental raptor away from her. "Let's see if you stand up to this. Fire Arrow!" shouted Bloom shooting a beam of fire that hit the fire raptor, sending him crashing into the wall, but despite this, shortly after he got up and prepared to continue fighting.

The fire raptor began to shoot several fireballs that Bloom dodged or blocked with her magic shield.

One of the fireballs, upon hitting the shield, caused an explosion that forced Bloom to land on the ground and the fire raptor took advantage of that to charge towards her with his claws at the ready.

"Supernova!" shouted Bloom creating in her fist a sort of grayish haze with purple lightning.

She then slammed that fist into the ground just as the elemental raptor was a couple of steps away from her, causing a very large explosion that sent the fire raptor crashing into the wall.

Bloom began to breathe heavily due to the effort she was putting into this fight. A fight that wasn't over yet because the fire raptor got up shortly after and roared at her.

Littlefoot was standing on the edge of the cliff watching the fight and he could tell that things weren't going very well for his friend. He had to do something, but against a fast biter of fire, there was nothing he could do without putting himself in danger.

It was then, as he looked at his surroundings, that an idea occurred to him.

Meanwhile, Bloom was preparing to continue the fight against the fire raptor, which was proving to be tougher than she had thought.

The elemental raptor was slowly advancing towards her, his mouth emitting fire when suddenly a rock hit him in the head and then some more.

"Up here, you coward!" the two turned their gaze to the side of the cliff to see Littlefoot on a path, which lay between the top and the bottom of the cliff, where he had been throwing rocks with his tail.

"Littlefoot, no!" exclaimed Bloom.

The raptor gave the longneck a roar before running toward him. As he ran toward him, Littlefoot started throwing rocks at him. Some hit him, but the fire raptor dodged the others.

Suddenly, Littlefoot threw another rock, but instead of throwing it at the fire raptor, he threw it at another, larger rock that ended up rolling until it hit another, even larger rock that ended up rolling directly at the fire raptor, who wasn't able to notice it in time and ended up getting hit by the rock, getting knocked down in the process.

"Now, Bloom!" shouted Littlefoot.

Snapping out of her stupor, Bloom decided to end the fight at once, so she began channeling her most powerful magic in her arsenal. The Dragon's Flame.

Flying high into the air, she began to charge her magic into a giant sphere.

"Dragon's Flame!" shouted Bloom shooting the sphere in the form of a beam towards the rising fire raptor.

As the beam struck, there was a huge explosion that generated a plume of smoke. As it cleared, the two could see that there was nothing left of the fire raptor.

Bloom landed on the ground and rested her hands on her knees as she gasped a little. Littlefoot quickly climbed down to the bottom of the cliff to join his friend.

"Are you okay?" asked Littlefoot with concern.

"Hehe. That's my line. What you did was very daring." said Bloom.

"Well, I said I was going to help you and that's what I've done." said Littlefoot.

"And I'm very grateful to you for it." said Bloom patting the longneck's head.

"Do you think the others will be done with their fast biters?" asked Littlefoot.

"It's possible. For now, let's go to the rendezvous point and wait for them there. Once we're all there, we'll work out a plan against the Ultimasaurus." said Bloom.

"I hope it hasn't reached the valley yet." said Littlefoot.

"I hope so too." said Bloom.
