It was another day in the Great Valley and both the girls and the gang were having a fun and relaxing time after all they had been through with the Ultimasaurus and elemental raptors.

When they arrived in the Great Valley after their adventure, the grown-ups asked where they had been and they told them they were exploring the Mysterious Beyond. Fortunately, the grown-ups saw it as something the gang usually does, so they let it go since no one was hurt.

At the time, most of them were in a meadow resting while watching the clouds pass by. Tecna was the only one of the group who wasn't with them, as she wanted to continue analyzing the diary, looking for the enchantment that would return them to their time.

They were all enjoying the peace of the place as they played at looking at clouds in various shapes, which made for a relaxing and fun time.

"Me see... a smoking mountain smoking." said Petrie pointing to a cloud in the sky.

"I see... a four-leaf clover." said Flora pointing to another cloud.

"You know? It may seem a little childish, but I have to admit, it was a good idea to play this game." said Stella.

"Yes, it makes life's problems dissolve for a moment." said Musa.

"That's the thing of playing with sky smoke. Yep, yep, yep." said Ducky.

"They have so many shapes, it's fun to see the many shapes they have." said Ruby.

"There's so much peace and quiet in the air." said Roxy.

"I guess that's what we needed after fighting a bunch of elemental creatures and a giant, magic-immune monster." said Bloom.

"I think so too." said Littlefoot, causing everyone to laugh at that.

Before they continued their game, they heard a voice calling out to them from a distance.

"Guys!" they all sat up and turned their heads to the side to see Tecna running towards them with the diary up and a big smile on her face.

"What is it now, Tecna?" asked Layla.

"I've found it! I've finally found it!" exclaimed Tecna with joy.

"The what? What have you found?" asked Chomper.

"I've finally found the enchantment that will return us back to our time!" revealed Tecna, to the surprise of the others.

"Does that mean you can go back to your world?" asked Cera.

"Wait, are you sure about what you're saying?" asked Stella.

"Believe me. I've checked many times. I'm 100% sure!" said Tecna.

Everyone burst out in happiness knowing that they had achieved what they set out to do. However, although the gang was happy for their friends, a part of them were sad because they would have to say goodbye to them, something that also reached the fairies.

It is true that they wanted to go back to their time, but after all they had spent with the gang, both having fun and fighting against the creations of that laboratory, they had become close friends, which would make the farewell all the harder.

Once Tecna made it clear how the process of returning to their time would be accomplished, the fairies set about saying goodbye to their dinosaur friends with whom they had good times in that ancient era.

"So you have to go?" asked Ruby.

"Yes. I'm sorry we have to say goodbye." said Tecna.

"That's all right. The Great Valley is our home, but not yours. So it's only natural that you would want to go back to your home that isn't ours." said Ruby.

"I know, but as you said before, we will always have a family wherever we go and as far as I'm concerned, you and the others are already part of our family." said Tecna.

Ruby shed a small tear before sharing a hug with the tech fairy.

"I wish you could have seen more of our valley." said Chomper.

"No matter. With what I've seen so far I have enough to spare. And who knows. Maybe at some point, we'll decide to go back." said Roxy.

"Really?" asked Chomper excitedly.

"Yes and I may bring Artu next time." said Roxy.

"I'll be happy to befriend him." said Chomper.

"And him too." said Roxy.

Flora was kneeling in front of Spike who let out a moan of sadness.

"I'm so sorry, Spike, but you know we have to go back." said Flora, but only received another moan of sadness. "Maybe this will cheer you up a little." said Flora before using her magic to grow a small plant in front of Spike which he devoured without hesitation. "Feeling a little better?" asked Flora getting a lick on the face. "Hehe. I know, I'll miss you too." said Flora petting the spiketail's head.

"You know? For such a little boy, you're pretty brave when it comes to fighting." said Musa to Petrie who was flying in front of her

"Yes, me fight." said Petrie swinging his arm around with a closed fist, only to end up taking an uppercut himself and falling down.

Luckily, Musa held out her hands for him to land on.

"Nice uppercut, but try to aim well next time." said Musa making the flyer laugh nervously.

"Hey, you teach me more flying tricks next time you come back valley?" asked Petrie.

"You bet, but I hope you'll have practiced a little by then." said Musa winking at him.

"Oh, me rehearse a lot. Me promise." said Petrie.

"I don't want you to leave. No, no, no." said Ducky who was on Layla's hands.

"I know, Ducky, but we have to go back to our time, to our home." said Layla before giving the swimmer a smile. "But you know? Maybe someday we'll see each other again and maybe you'll be the one to visit our time." said Layla hoping that would cheer her up.

"Oh, yep, yep, yep. I might even go to your world to meet the mermaids." said Ducky feeling more encouraged than before.

"When that happens, we'll all enjoy some time swimming through the waters, is that okay with you?" asked Layla.

"I'd love to!" exclaimed Ducky jumping up to give the morphix fairy a hug.

"It may sound amazing, but I'm really going to miss you, Cera." said Stella.

"Heh. Same here. You and your light magic turned out to be very useful in the end." said Cera.

"And you turned out to be more useful than I thought." said Stella crossing her arms.

The two shared a small laugh at how the goodbye was going for them.

Stella knelt down in front of the threehorn and showed her fist.

"It was nice to meet you." said Stella.

"Likewise." said Cera, bumping her paw against the light fairy's fist.

"I'm so sorry we have to leave. It was fun while it lasted." Bloom said.

"I know, but you have a home to go back to, don't you? We can't force you to stay here any longer." said Littlefoot.

Bloom smiled before bending down to pet the longneck's head.

"That was very kind of you. But now that we know how to go back and forth between eras, we may at some point return to the valley or even take you to our world." said Bloom.

"Would you really do that?" asked Littlefoot.

"You have taught us a lot about this place. I think it's only fair that we show you ours. Until then, take good care of yourselves and never stop believing in fairies." said Bloom.

"After all this, we will never stop believing in you or in fairies. Rest assured." said Littlefoot.

Bloom gave him another smile before they shared a hug.

After saying goodbye to everyone, the gang moved a little away from them as the girls gathered to begin the process back.

Tecna cleared her throat and began reciting the enchantment.

"As the walls between our world and those around us grow stronger, I, who read this enchantment, hear you, the gods of the heavens open the gates of these new worlds to you and lead me to the one I wish to be in." said Tecna reciting the enchantment.

They waited a few seconds until a wind began to swirl around the girls and before they knew it, a bright light covered the fairies and soon after, both the light and the wind melted away, revealing that the area was completely empty.

Even though they had said goodbye to their new friends, the gang held out hope that, at some point, they would return and spend more time together. No matter the place, time or world, magic is everywhere. You just have to believe in it.

AN: And here we end the story. Wait a minute... There is still one more thing to add. I ask you to be a little more patient.
