STORY 2 - FERAL SURPRISE

One-shot
Warning, smut ahead!

AU timeline: Shadowbringers, after slaying Lightwarden of Ahm Areang [if you remember the scene in game when Exarch comes over to check on player, that's it pretty much xD]
In relations to my other AU's this is basically "What if Raha planned his glamour better and Surr wouldn't recognize him right away in Change of Plans"

He shouldn't be here…

G'raha twitched nervously, rubbing his hands together, fighting with himself. When he heard from the Scions what happened, that she collapsed, screaming from pain as white light surrounded her, he panicked; and that led him here, at the doorstep of her suite in Pendants, his heart pounding furiously.

He just wanted to see for himself that she was alright… Though he had no right, no excuse to disturb her rest. She wasn't his anymore as every hard, cold stare of purple eyes reminded him.

He summoned her to this dying world to save her and stop Eight Umbral Calamity and that was it. He made sure, in every possible, painful way that she won't recognize him… even going as far as altering his voice and smell… even healing his crystal-covered shoulder till her mark disappeared completely, though that made him sob desperately. But she couldn't know who he is if his plan was to work.

He was to be a villain in the last act of this story, to spare her any and all guilt over his fate when he'll pull the Light from her and bring it with him into the Rift. Barely a footnote in her grand adventure.

But now, he just needed to know she was alright… Just needed to see her beautiful, beloved face that every time reminded him that it was worth it. Every single second of his hundred years vigil was worth it if it allowed him one peek, one minute in her company.

She was so different from his memories, yet he still loved her desperately.

Surr he remembered always gazed at him with her eyes full of lust and love. Her purple eyes soft and full of adoration as she would climb on her toes and wrap her arms around his neck to pull him into deep, passionate kiss; letting him drown in her taste as her intoxicating, orange smell filled his head. She was affectionate and mischievous, staking her claim over him without a care of who's watching, driving him mad with want.

Surr he met in the Rift, one he pulled across time and space looked at him with hard, cold stare of amethyst eyes; her expression ever unreadable. She did everything requested of her, everything required to save people of both shards yet there was a distant, chilly quality to her stares, certain stiffness to her carefully faked smiles directed ever only at her friends.

He knew every story, every note about her adventures after they parted; after he closed himself inside the Tower, yet he wasn't sure what caused this change in beautiful woman that used to belong to him, as he belonged to her… And he didn't had a right to ask, even though it drove him mad with worry and need to bring back out the sweet, loving girl he knew she was hiding behind cold mask of Warrior of Light.

But now he just needed to see that she was alright, that light didn't yet claimed her. That he still had time to… just to see her. Even if every look at her pretty, plush lips brought back memories of her taste and made his mouth water, craving and lusting after her desperately; ever glad for his cowl's and glamour's shade covering his intent, hungry stares.

He had no right anymore to want her. Yet he couldn't help himself.

So he steeled his resolve, stiffened his spine and knocked, swallowing hard as he waited for her answer.

It didn't take long for the massive door to swing open… and he froze, his heart rising to pound between his ears furiously, dark blush climbing his face as he stared.

Her gaze was unreadable as she tilted her head slightly, her ears rising curiously, her purple eyes distant and guarded, her pearly-white hair damp as if she just washed. But what caught his gaze, made his heart race and his hands curl into fists, trying desperately to push back feral haze clawing at the edges of his consciousness was a sight of his old, faded mark on her shoulder; first time displayed by her pure white, skin-tight camise; and sight of her long, glorious legs covered only by incredibly short, white shorts.

Wicked white… he always had a weakness for her legs; so strong when she would coil them tightly around his waist as he pounded into her, making her scream and chant his name over and over… her lust and orange smell drowning his senses as he bit at her, claiming her, making her his… sinking his teeth into that mark, so faded now…

His mate… It was faded but still there… She was his…

He couldn't breath… Couldn't think… His gaze stuck intently at the mark, his mouth watering as the haze claimed his senses, pounding of his heart deafening.

"Exarch? Are you alright?" he barely heard through the fog, and then her orange smell hit his sensitive nose and he was gone, instinct taking over completely…

After coming back from Ahm Areang and her conversation with Ardbert; her heart bleeding for the fate of her new, ghost friend even as she tried not to worry about her bouts of painful collapses and what they meant; she washed and prepared for bed. She was tired, many aches of her body, both physical and emotional rising dangerously close to the surface.

She was so tired of always hiding behind the mask of the Warrior, but she barely remembered now how to function without it. After losing Raha something inside her broke and no matter what she did, how many monsters she slayed, how many enemies she put down, she just couldn't fill the void inside her.

Losing most of her friends near immediately after losing him, and being chased of her home only drove the point home even more; made her choose to stay cold and distant; her bruised, battered heart safe behind the mask. Even her chosen family, Scions didn't seem aware how fake her smirks and humor were.

She was Weapon of Light, a tool to be pointed at ones enemies. So long everyone seemed to think that, she could keep her bleeding soul hidden away. She could pretend that she can function normally, be the pillar of strength they needed; only in darkness and privacy allowing herself moments of weakness, sobbing desperately at the memory of crimson eyes filled with love and adoration. At the memory of strong arms coiling around her securely, giving her rare sensation of safety as her Raha nuzzled against her throat, his purring so soothing in her ears.

Gods… How she missed him…

Quiet knock at the door of her suite snapped her out of her thoughts, nearly making her jump, her ears lowering considerably. She sighed quietly, then moved toward the door, with effort smoothing her features into the mask that somehow felt too small tonight to contain her emotions. She just hoped that whoever was it, won't take too long and let her nurse her bruised feelings in peace.

Still she twitched barely noticeable at the sight of Crystal Exarch at her door, his ever present cowl hiding his expression as he seemed to freeze; his pretty, plush lips parting slightly around a tiny gasp, making her frown slightly.

He confused her, this mysterious mage who summoned her across the Rift to save this dying shard. He was ever regal and polite in his manners; always asking for her help instead of demanding like so many did. She liked him, even if somehow curve of his lips remained her painfully of the memory of the only man she ever loved, ever wanted. But he smelled wrong, his voice lacked the soothing quality that made her shudder before crystal door shut, stealing her love and leaving her heartbroken. So she quickly discarded the painful comparison, chased away speculative thought when she first noticed it, staying distant and guarded.

She didn't want anyone but her mate… and he was lost to her, forever.

She blinked, chiding herself at her distraction and focused again at her surprising visitor. He still seemed frozen, making her head tilt slightly, her ears twitching with curiosity at his unusual behavior. Then she noticed only visible part of his face darkening with a blush and she blinked again.

"Exarch? Are you alright?" she asked with worry, her frown deepening.

Surr almost jumped in surprise when he growled at her softly, stepping toward her. What…? She watched with stunned gaze as he reached for her, that low, dangerous sound sending shiver down her spine, making her tail flick with uncertainty and her ears lower considerably.

"Exarch?" she whispered, backing away from his reach… her eyes growing huge when he followed her, his lips parting around a quiet snarl as if he was displeased with her retreat. "Exarch, what's wrong with you?"

She backed away again, watching him carefully as he seemed to freeze again, leaning forward with another quiet snarl, his curled fists relaxing slightly.

Then before she had time to blink, he pounced at her, making her gasp with shock as his crystal arm wrapped around her waist, pulling her near brutally against him; fingers of his other hand sinking in her damp hair, fisting in the strands and pulling her head back, forcing her to look in the shade of his cowl so close, yet somehow she still couldn't see his eyes. Was it glamour? She wondered numbly, blinking hard, stunned nearly out of her mind.

"Mine…" he hissed at her, clear possessives in his low voice; and claimed her lips roughly, swallowing her shocked gasp.

Gods… She moaned brokenly into his mouth, melting against him as her hands fisted in his robes, her heart pounding furiously and painfully.

Twelve… she knew that taste…

But that's not possible… He smelled wrong… And she didn't feel him… but that taste…

She whimpered with confusion, tearing her mouth away from his and and panting.

"Exa…" she tried, pushing against his chest but his mouth fell on hers again, low growl in his throat vibrating against her lips as his hand tightened in her hair, tilting her head for easier access as he plunged his tongue in her mouth, that familiar, impossible taste drowning her senses till she could only whimper, her hands, still fisted in his robes pulling him closer instinctively as her mouth grew as demanding and devouring.

Gods… Her heart pounded so loudly in her ears she almost missed how his growl changed; his low, satisfied purr now vibrating on her tongue and making her thoughts spin uncontrollably.

Impossible…

She broke away again, this time just because she needed a breath, panting harshly; her instinctive, answering purr nearly choking her as she trembled, trying to make sense of any of this and failing miserably.

"Mine…" he purred at her, sound so low and inviting as he nuzzled his cheek against hers, patch of crystal on it feeling so strange yet not unpleasant.

She froze, finally realizing… Gods, she didn't even had any idea that he was Miqo'te under that robes, but… She swallowed hard, her jaw tightening as she lifted her hand slowly, carefully, using his obvious distraction as he breathed in deeply, his purr dropping even lower… Narrowing her eyes, she gently sneaked her hand under his cowl and pushed… To choke out stunned sob when the material pulled back, revealing wild, dazed crimson eyes.

"Raha…" she gasped, too shocked to do much else then just stare, blinking hard.

He looked different, his red hair faded to white, crystal climbing his neck and face, but the crimson, slitted eyes eyes were the same and once the cowl fallen of his head completely, seemingly taking it's glamour with it, his smell and voice changed, making her sob uncontrollably.

"Raha…" she choked again, bringing her hands up and framing his face, looking at him carefully. "Why were you hiding from me?"

His only answer was another quiet snarl, his feral eyes narrowing dangerously as he seemed displeased with her distraction when her gesture pulled him away from nuzzling at her.

Surr laughed softly, involuntary amused with his behavior. He seemed too far gone into the haze to give her any kind of an explanation, though.

Not that she really cared, she thought, releasing his face and wrapping her arms around his neck, sighing softly with relief when he went to nuzzle at her throat, soon his low purr resuming. He was here, her Raha was in her arms and she didn't intended to let go, ever again.

She purred happily, nuzzling in turn at his crystal-covered throat then gasped again when his crystal arm lowered, sneaking under material of her shorts, curling around her flesh and pulling her hips hard against him. She moaned, her heart racing when she felt through his robes how hard he was against her stomach.

She opened her eyes, peeking over his shoulder and blushed seeing that door to her suite still stood open, forgotten amid his surprising assault. She needed to do something about it, or else anyone walking by was bound to get quite a show soon, judging by how insistent his purr was growing against her skin. Also just in case he suddenly came back to his senses and tried to run. There had to be a reason why was he hiding from her so long…

He had some explaining to do. After, though, she thought dazedly as he started to nip at her throat, slowly trailing toward his mark, making her tremble with instinctive anticipation. Twelve, please…

But the door… She swallowed tightly, trying to collect her thoughts. She need to close the door. Now, before she losses her mind. Or before he gets his back.

She tilted her head submissively, causing his purr to drop into low, satisfied growl, making her shiver; Surr bit her lip and considering her options quickly.

She will have to run for it, it seems. She couldn't think of anything else. If she's fast and can distract him beforehand enough… It should work, if she can make him let go of her hair and bottom.

She lifted slightly on her toes, relaxing her arms to drop around his shoulders and started to purr, loudly and insistently, right next to his ear; undulating against him slowly and rubbing her whole body against his robes. He froze, low whine tearing from his throat between sharp, quick gasps of breath. She smirked triumphantly when his hand dropped from her hair to clasp with the other around her hips, pulling her against him harder. He panted harshly, moving his head back to nuzzle at her throat, purring again loudly in answer to her sound, his body growing rigid against her.

Gods… so hot…

Surr licked her dry lips, fighting to stay focused on her goal. She swallowed hard, stilling and ignoring his surprised, questioning whimper; she lowered her hands in a flash, shoving at his chest brutally. He stumbled back with a surprised whine, letting go of her and she jumped around him, sprinting and shoving the door shut violently.

Then she froze at a furious snarl behind her back and before she even realized what happened, his body pressed her hard against the door, crystal fingers fisted in her hair, pulling her head to the side near painfully and teeth sank into her shoulder; shock of pleasure-pain shooting down her spine and making her whine, loud and needy, as heat coiled in her belly instantly.

Gods… so good…

She whimpered desperately, rocking back into hard body; teeth at her shoulder digging in harder, drawing blood, as he hissed furiously around her flesh, rocking his hips against her backside with clear demand.

She clearly pissed him off…

"Raha…" she gasped, half out of her mind with need, bracing her hands against the door and tilting her head submissively with low whine. "Raha, please…"

She gasped with surprise when his free hand tore her camise in half, then moaned breathlessly as fingers closed around her breast, kneading her flesh as he lifted his head.

"Mine…" he growled aggressively against her throat.

"Yes, yours…" she whimpered softly, leaning back against him, her head swimming.

That seemed to pacify him some as his rigid body relaxed slightly. His crystal hand dropped from her hair to wrap around her hip, holding her tight against him as he nuzzled at her shoulder and she whined at his soft, apologetic lick at his mark; hand still around her breast softening in its touch, drawing a moan from her throat.

Twelve… how she missed him…

Her Raha… how she wanted him…

At this point she didn't care at all about the reasons behind his deception. He was here, awake and touching her. His heat scalding against her back despite separating them layers of material.

She leaned her head back against his shoulder, purring loudly and insistently, submitting completely as her mind spun. His body relaxed and he nipped at her throat, soon also purring with satisfaction. She melted, tilting her head to him and nosing at his hair gently, breathing in deeply and letting his smell fill her lungs. How she missed it…

Raha lifted his head and she was caught in a stare of dazed, crimson eyes as they seemed to try to focus.

"Raha, kiss me," she cooed shamelessly, undulating against him gently, her hands closing carefully around his.

There was no understanding in his irises, only raw need.

"Mine," he growled at her softly, then nuzzled his cheek against hers with a deep sigh; his hands relaxing and coiling around her waist, pulling her close. "My mate," he purred, burying his face against her throat and taking a deep breath. "Mine."

Her heart clenched painfully, purr dying in her throat as tears pricked at her eyes. Gods… He sounded so…

He sounded so… relieved.

"My Raha…" she cooed gently, very slowly and carefully turning around in his arms. His purr intensified when she wrapped her arms around his neck, nuzzling against his jaw and purring soothingly. "I'm here, you have me," she murmured softly, sinking her fingers in his hair. "I'm yours," he didn't resist when she pulled his head back gently; only whined softly when she slanted her lips over his, moaning at his taste.

Soon his arms tightened around her again, his mouth growing devouring and desperate on hers, but she didn't mind, answering as aggressively and hungry. She growled softly when he pushed her against the door again, then pulled her fingers out of his hair and wrapped her arms tight around his neck, intent on pulling him even closer.

Surr smirked against his lips when she felt his hands move and tear at her shorts, loud sound of the material ripping almost making her giggle into his mouth. She leaned away without breaking the kiss, lowering her hands, started pulling desperately at his robes, struggling with heavy material. He growled against her lips, pulled away slightly and tore at offending cloth, soon letting it pool around his feet. She pulled him back into the kiss immediately, enjoying how mix of hot skin and cool crystal felt against her bare chest. Raha purred into her mouth with satisfaction, bracing his elbows against the door around her as his crystal fingers sank into her hair, tilting her head for access as he went back to devouring her.

She pawed at him blindly, possessively, soon her hands finding and pulling at his shorts, removing last barrier between them.

She purred with glee, moving her arms around his neck again, then jumped up slightly and coiled her legs around his waist, rocking her hips with demand. She didn't had to wait long as he pressed her hard against the door, his hands wrapping around her hips as he whimpered in her mouth, pressing inside her.

Gods… so good…

She broke the kiss, panting harshly and moaning as he filled her. It's been years, yet it still felt so right, so perfect… He stopped when buried in her completely, soft, desperate whine leaving his throat as his head banged slightly against the door next to her head.

"It's okay," she cooed against his ear, untangling his braid swiftly and sinking her fingers in velvety red-white strands. "I'm yours, Raha, it's okay, I'm here…" she hummed, nuzzling her cheek against crystal at his shoulder.

Crystal maybe stole her mark, but he was hers… Always.

"Mine…" he purred softly against her skin, then bit down again on her skin and finally moved against her, soon pounding into her near brutally, making her writhe, gasp and moan, clawing at his back desperately.

First orgasm rolled through her like a storm and she arched, screaming and shuddering violently. He growled loudly when her muscles quivered around him, lifting his head and claiming her mouth, swallowing her whimpers as he kept pounding into her, his hands pulling her roughly against his thrusts.

She shook, mewling into his mouth, overwhelmed. Second had her gasping and moaning, coiling around him with all her strength as he whined desperately, breaking the devouring kiss and shuddering, then stilling, his cock pulsing inside her and making her gasp and whimper.

He sagged against her, pinning her to hard surface as he panted, resting his forehead against hers, their quick, sharp breaths mixing.

Surr sighed softly when she could finally catch her breath and moved her hands around his face, cradling it gently as she tilted her head and brushed her lips against his.

"My beautiful Raha," she purred, smoothing her thumbs over his cheeks as she leaned her head back against the door, her purple eyes scanning his face carefully and she smiled at his relaxed expression. "How I missed you," she cooed.

He opened his eyes slowly, still so dazed and feral as he growled at her softly.

She loosened her legs around him, almost whining with regret when he slipped out of her, but then dropped to the ground on her shaky limbs, blushing furiously as she felt his seed drip between her legs, but not letting go of his face.

His savage eyes tracked her movement, but he didn't make a move to stop her, only low purr rumbling in his chest.

She pulled him down in another kiss, so gentle and loving, smiling when his purr grew deeper, his hands tightening on her hips.

Surr broke the kiss, purring and cooing at him soothingly as she lowered her hands to wrap them around his, pulling them off her skin gently and soon pulling him slowly deeper inside the room, blindly heading toward the bed as she kept her gaze focused on his. He followed her, his unblinking, predatory eyes not leaving hers; his purr growing in intensity.

"Just wanna make us both comfortable, my Raha," she cooed softly, trying not to blink. "Everything alright, I'm yours, no need to get upset again," she chuckled softly. He seemed calm and content now to be led by her, but she wasn't sure how long that will last. She relaxed slightly, feeling when back of her legs hit the edge of the bed, finally daring to break the eye contact, looking back quickly. Shiver run down her spine when he growled immediately, his hands tightening in hers. She looked at him quickly, opening her mouth. "It's alr…"

He pounced and she giggled involuntary when they fell on top of the bed, glad that at least she managed to get him where she wanted. She wrapped her arms around his neck, nuzzling at his crystal-covered throat and purring with happiness when he parted her legs, soon pushing back inside her as he growled against her shoulder.

What followed was bells of furious, ravenous bouts of lovemaking when he claimed her time after time, until he collapsed next to her in pure exhaustion, purring with content.

As tired, not mentioning sore, Surr forced herself to sit up and look down at his relaxed expression and smirked mischievously.

There will be no more hiding, my mate…

She leaned over him, dragging her fingers gently over the patch of crystal on his cheek, then down his throat and over the spot where her mark used to be, now gone. She narrowed her eyes. Crystal Tower stole him from her once… but she's nothing if not determined and resourceful…

And he was hers… She won't ever let him leave her again.

She moved with purpose, straddling his waist and looking over him carefully. Then she grinned, leaning in. He was too tired to do much more then moan softly when her teeth sank in his skin, right over his heart. She sobbed quietly, closing her eyes when the bond snapped in place, his jumbled, delirious feelings flooding her senses; love, devotion and relief most powerful in the mix.

She lifted her head, licking at the wound gently, then purred right into his dazed eyes as they opened slightly, peering at her with confusion in their crimson depths.

"Everything is alright, my love," she cooed tiredly, laying down on top of him and nuzzling against his chest, her mind reeling at the feel of his. "Everything is fine, just as it's supposed to be," she sighed with content.

He was back and he was hers…

Explanations can wait till morning, she thought with a chuckle, letting her exhaustion pull her under.
