What the fuck is this feeling? And why can't I stop thinking about her? It's just a girl, Jinx! Just banish her from your head!

The blue haired girl thought aggressively, while walking down the alleyways of Zaun. All she could think about was her encounter with Lux.

She's just a blonde from this stuck up nation Demacia. Nothing special about her!

She crossed her arms in front of her, in a defensive position. But then again… This feeling when I touched her… I never felt that before… What the hell even was that?! It felt so warm and soft and… Fuck!

Jinx stopped dead in her tracks and scuffled through her hair in desperation. She slammed her hands down on a nearby barrel before shutting her eyes. Just stop, stop, STOP THINKING ABOUT HER JINX! She's nothing special! Fucking shit! Nothing! Special! You understand, you idiot?!

She wanted to scream, she wanted to shout, she wanted to do anything to finally get rid of the blonde. But all of her efforts were in vain. All she could see, all the time, was this young girl, called Luxanna.

With a heavy breath, the blue haired girl finally opened her eyes again.

I need someone to help me. She began her thought. Someone who might know this feeling. Someone who can help me get rid of it. But who…?

Jinx's eyes wandered wildly, indicating her desperate attempts to think of someone who could help her. When it finally hit her.

"Silco!" She screamed out, before turning away and running down the alley and lanes, towards her father's lair.

Jinx stormed through the door and sprinted up the stairs towards Silco's office, where the young woman swiftly came to a halt in front of his door.

She breathed through deeply and collected her thoughts, before slowly pressing down the brass handle.

She stepped through the opening and saw him: Sitting at his desk, head sunken into papers, a customly designed mug from Jinx, filled with coffee next to him.

"H.. Hey Silco." Jinx started with a stutter.

"What's wrong, Jinx?" The man asked, not looking up for even a second.

"Wha… I never said anything's wrong!" Jinx giggled, crossing her arms in front of her chest.

"You'd never act like this if nothing was wrong, Jinx. You can't fool me. I know you too well." Silco answered, his eyes slowly wandering up from the papers and met the gaze of his daughter.

Jinx sighed, before turning away from him, while slowly running her hand up and down her arm.

"It's… I met someone…" Jinx said, shakingly.

"That someone… Is it a boy?" Silco asked, raising an eyebrow. He knew that Jinx was slowly coming into an age, where she would develop certain feelings towards other people.

Jinx continued to avoid his eyes while answering "It's… It's not a boy."

"A girl then?" Silco leaned back, smirking slightly.

The blue haired girl's answer was a quick and quiet nod.

A silent chuckle from her father filled the air, before he stood up and walked over to her.

He rested a hand on the young woman's shoulder before speaking again "And what is with this girl?"

"When I… When I touched her…-" Jinx wanted to start, but was interrupted by Silco's worrying question, "T… Touch?"

"Yes, on the shoulder." The blue haired girl explained, confused why the man looked so shocked.

"Oh." Silco chuckled, "Please, continue."

"Well… I touched her and then there was this feeling. It… It was so weird." Jinx tried to explain.

"What kind of feeling was it, Jinx?" Silco asked, trying to understand his daughter.

"It was something I never felt before… My past… The voices… They were like… Gone! Colors got brighter too, somehow. It was like there was a sudden burst of light in every inch of my body… It's difficult to explain." Jinx muttered out, frantically trying to make Silco understand her.

But the man did. He did understand her very well, since he knew that feeling too, once.

"I know what you mean, Jinx. What you're talking about, my darling, is Love." He explained to her, while cupping her cheek softly.

"Love?! Impossible!" She took a few steps back "I can't love this girl! I… We only met like two days ago! That's way too little time to fall in love with someone!"

Silco stayed calm, while slowly approaching his daughter again "Love isn't set on a timer, Jinx."

The man hugged her tenderly, "Especially the kind of love that you're experiencing. You feel this warmth around her. Can't get her out of your head. Suddenly you can't imagine a life without her. That's what love is about. Not how long you know the person you have these feelings for."

Jinx, still unsure of herself, hugged her father back while whispering "She… She said she would feel the same, dad… Does that mean that…-"

"Then you're very lucky, Jinx." He tightened the hug, "I'm so incredibly happy that you found someone special, my dear."

Jinx's mind started to race wildly. Was she really in love with this woman? This girl she only met two days ago? Was Silco even right? There was only one way to find out.

She had to see Lux again.

After leaving her fathers embrace and office, the braided girl instantly made her way back to Piltover. On her way up the ten floors of the hotel however, she noticed the sky getting darker. Was this a storm coming up? No matter now. Jinx jumped through the open window, into the room of her presumably crush.

As she swept through the opening however, her oh so confident heart was quickly put back in its place by the gaze of the blonde girl, already waiting for her.

Lux was sitting on her bed, only dressed in her pink pajamas, with bare feet and open hair. She had a soft smirk on her lips that just told Jinx that-

"I knew you'd come back." She interrupted the intruder's thoughts.

"You… You knew?" Jinx was startled. How would she know this? She specifically told Lux that she wanted nothing to do with her, after all.

"Of course I did." The blonde chuckled out, while standing up from the bed and making her way over to the paralyzed, blue haired woman.

Her walk was slow, soft, beautiful and elegant all at the same time. Seeing such a beautiful young woman walk up to her in such a way kicked Jinx's heart into overdrive. It beat up to her throat, when Lux finally arrived in front of her.

She looked down at the startled girl, who looked up to meet her glance in response. The blonde softly let the back of her index run down Jinx's cheek, while smiling so brightly, it could lighten up even the darkest of alleys.

And there was this feeling once more. As soon as the two girl's skins collided, Jinx felt this warmth again. This safety.

She let her head sink down, in the realization that this feeling was but temporary and that as soon as Lux retreated her hand, she would be back in the dark again.

The blonde wasn't a fool, however. She noticed the change in demeanor and tried to cheer her visitor up with something she thought about a few hours ago.

"You know… If a simple touch can already do this much… I would love to test out something…-" she tenderly grabbed Jinx's chin and lifted her head up, to meet her gaze once more "different."

Jinx didn't know what to answer.

What would she do? Startled even more, the blue haired guest took a step back before speaking again "What do you mean with different?"

"Do you trust me?" Lux asked, tilting her head just the tiniest of bits.

Breathing deeply, Jinx muttered out her next words, which were drenched in insecurity "Maybe."

Lux chuckled slightly, before taking a step towards the other girl again "I'll just try it… If it's too much, you can always push me away, okay?"

Jinx's mind started to race.

Yes, no, yes, no, TRUST HER!

no don't…

YOU LOVE HER

no i cant

TRUST HER!

She clenched her eyes shut and turned her head away from the blonde, before whispering, barely audible "O… Okay."

Lux knew what she had to do. She slowly approached Jinx, who didn't move at all, with open arms.

The girl with the cloud tattoos squeezed her eyes shut, when it hit her.

This feeling again. But different.

Much. Much different.

She felt everything. Happiness, joy, warmth, light, pure, unfiltered euphoria!

Her heart was racing faster than ever before, her breathing got quicker and quicker. She felt like she was about to faint, when she finally opened her eyes again.

Then she realized.

Lux hugged her.

The deepest, most loving and warm hug she had ever received in her life.

Not Silco. Not Vi. Not even her own mother could come close to the warmth and love this hug emitted.

This feeling was so intense, that the young woman's legs got weak, and soon gave up.

She fell onto her knees, and Lux followed, never breaking the hug.

Jinx felt how the blonde's soft hairstrains brushed against her cheek, how her warm breath collided with her neck. How her tender hands glided over her back and how the love she was giving with this hug, also counted for herself.

This explosion of emotions was also going on inside of her. She just managed to hide it better than Jinx, who already started crying tears of joy.

Both of the girls wanted that this moment would never end.

But of course, like all things in life, it eventually did.

Jinx slowly raised her hands and grabbed Lux's shoulders, before pushing her away with as little force as she could possibly use.

The blonde obliged, not resisting for a moment. She looked into her guest's wet eyes with her own before giggling slightly.

But the crying girl wasn't feeling like laughing. She just wanted Lux to know how she felt.

Enough playing the tough girl. That facade was already shattered.

"Lux…" Jinx whispered, before being interrupted by the blonde's index on her lips.

"I know, Jinx… I felt it too." She said, before standing up slowly and reaching out her hand for Jinx to grab onto.

The blue haired woman didn't think twice when accepting that offer and soon was standing on her own feet again.

"What will you do now?" Lux asked in a whisper, the bodies of the two girls still being close to each other, holding hands.

"Go… Go back to Zaun, I guess." Jinx answered, before their moment was shattered by a thunderous growling outside. Both women turned towards the open window and spotted the raindrops falling through it, onto the couch, leaving wet stains wherever they landed.

"Where… Where will you sleep?" The blonde asked, a little more worry in her voice now.

"In my hideout." Jinx started, "It's a little cave. When you leave Zaun to the east, just keep with the rocks and soon you'll hit an entrance. Barely noticeable, nicely hidden and private." Jinx explained before it hit her.

She just told this girl the exact location where she lived. She never was this careless before! What was wrong with her?!

But her raging thoughts were interrupted once more by Lux's tender touch on her cheek.

"Does your hideout at least have a roof?" She asked. Worry and fear, marking her glance.

"Well… Some parts of my workshop have one. Why?" Jinx was curious about the blonde's concerns about a roof.

"Well… Maybe… You can… You know… Sleep here tonight…?" Lux asked, stuttering out every word.

Jinx's heart started to beat faster again. "I…" she muttered, "I would… Love to, but… But where do I sleep?"

Lux took a step back. Her face turned red like a tomato, when she looked away, nervously playing with her fingers "The… The couch is wet from the rain already… But like… The… The bed would have enough room for two… Two people…"

Jinx's eyes got wider. Was she about to sleep in the same bed with Lux?

She gave the idea a moment to settle in, when she finally made her decision.

"Yes." She whispered.

Lux turned towards her again. "You… You will?" She asked with a smile.

The braided girl's answer was a nod, with a slight smirk.

"Well then…" the blonde said, while turning around and making her way to the bed. "I sadly only have one blanket… But there should be enough room beneath for both of us… If you want to."

"A blanket?" Jinx asked, confused, while making her way over to Lux's bed as well.

"Mhm" the Demacian nodded, while laying down on the soft furniture, holding the blanket open for Jinx to bury herself into.

The nervous girl obliged and soon laid in the same bed as Lux. Both under the same soft silk, when she asked, "You don't have a blanket at home, Jinx?"

"I had one, back when I still had a functioning family. We were poor, but… But mom would always make sure that we would stay warm at night." Jinx whispered, hers and Lux's hands slowly intertwining underneath the pink blanket.

"She sounds like a lovely woman…" the blonde whispers, slowly scuffling closer to her friend.

"She was…" the blue haired woman whispered, her eyes almost weeping again, from the memories of her mother.

The blonde came even closer towards Jinx, their bodies now touching, when she whispered silently, "It's okay, Jinxie… I'm here for you…"

With a tear falling from her eye, Jinx asked confused, "Jinxie?"

"I like to give nicknames to people I really like… Like my mom, my dad, my brother… Or you."

Jinx let one of her hands emerge from underneath the blanket and let her fingers softly run across Lux's cheek. The pure softness of the Demacians skin was still so unbelievable for her.

"It's not on a timer…" Jinx whispered to herself, almost non audible.

"What?" The blonde asked, still picking it up.

"I really like you too, Lux…" the blue haired woman said, when their faces got closer to each other.

Their bodies were now entangled. Hands were held, and legs were intertwined. Their faces merely millimeters apart, when…

Jinx retreated.

She looked the blonde in the eyes for a long while after, before they fell shut. Just like hers.

Arm in arm, body on body, the two women slept to the next morning, in the deepest sleep, either of them had ever had.
