Hello! This is my first time writing in the miraculous world, but I'm excited to start! I hope y'all like this one. Just a one shot, based off of a fanart I found scrolling through Pinterest. I hope y'all like it!

Sitting on the balcony of the Dupain-Cheng bakery has become a habit. And not just for the sweets that the bakery girl shares with me, it's the bakery girl herself. And her smile is starting to get addicting.

"Chat Noir, what do you think I should do for the bodice? More of a v-neck or sweetheart neckline? Under the sheer fabric?"

"Huh?" She smiles again, and I feel a blush underneath my mask. Why does she have to be so darn cute?

"Silly kitty, I was talking about the bodice of the dress, you know the one I've been working on for the design contest?" Her blue eyes shining with a slightly teasing smile beneath her nose are so captivating.

"Oh, yeah. I think a sweetheart neckline would work better." I focus back on the dress she is drawing.

The last few nights she's been working on a dress for a contest she was unknowingly entered into. She couldn't believe it at first, and when I showed up that night she was a frantic mess.

"Chat, my best friend entered me into the Agreste design contest without me knowing! And now I have to create a dress design worthy of being in Gabriel Agreste's presence!" she shouted, rushing around her balcony flipping through loads of sketchbooks as she tried to find something worthy of a competition.

"Slow down princess. What about Gabriel Agreste?"

"You know, he's a famous designer," Uh, yeah he's my dad. "And he's my favorite designer as well, and my best friend signed me up for that contest but I know I'm not good enough to win, so I don't really want to do it." She looked down, her worry showing on her face.

"Would you be willing to show me some of your designs?" She nods shyly, then slowly flips through her sketchbook to show them to me.

"Marinette, those are amazing! You should try it. You're a lot better than you think." I gave her an encouraging smile.

"What, do you know something about the fashion industry then?" she smirks curiously, lips curling upward in a slightly taunting manner.

"Heh, yeah, more than you'd think," I whispered.

"Hmm?"

"Nothing.."

That's when we decided to get started on the dress. She didn't back down, and with a little encouragement decided she was going to go for a dress. She was just having a little trouble with choosing what to do. She asked me to help, and knowing my father's tastes, I was more than happy to.

"Okay, so sweetheart neckline, A-line skirt, what else? It's not enough.." She sketches something on the paper, thinks for a moment and then erases it before I can even see it.

"Hey, what was that?" I grab the book from her hands and try to see what was erased.

"Chat! Give that back!" She tries to grab the book back but I hop on the railing and hold it out of her reach.

"Ah ah ah, I would like to see your idea first. You have very good ideas, you shouldn't write them off so quickly." I squint closely, trying to see the faint outline of what was written. I pop back up when I realize that she wanted to do black, for Chat Noir.

"You want to do black, for me?" She blushes and turns to look at the city lights.

"Well, yeah. I mean, you've helped me so much with saving me all those times, giving me ideas for the dress, why not have you be the inspiration for it? I know it's a dress and all, but-"

"Marinette, thank you!" I hop down and sweep her into a hug. She holds her arms at her side awkwardly at first, then leans into it.

"No, thank you Chat.
