A/N: This is my first time writing for Titanic, I haven't written in a while so I thought I'd do something related to that. Since I do actually like the paring Cal and Rose, I kind of want to have them be together, since this is kind of like an AU almost. Please enjoy and be sure to R&R and leave constructive criticism.

Chapter 1: The Ship of Dreams

Rose Dewitt Buckateer and Cal Hockley have been engaged for about two months now, they are sailing on the maden voyage of the RMS Titanic. Rose is excited while Cal isn't for some reason her mother is coming. And that does make Cal a bit mad, "Rose. Why does your mother have to come?" He asked looking at Rose and trying not to get her mother's attention, "because she doesn't trust us Cal. I think she remembers when we made love on the beach." Cal then remembered too, he didn't even expect anything to happen.

All they were doing was making love to each other, nothing big. Something told Rose that this trip might not be that bad, or so she thought. In her head she was dreaming about the ship, she was also dreaming about how Cal was going to be there with her and how he was going to take care of her. Ruth who was Rose's mother was overprotective of her.

So she probably won't allow her to hang out with Cal on her own, "I really want to hang out. Alone, Cal." She said as she went into her room. Cal just smiled and Rose was happy, they lived in a big mansion with her mother and father, well. Her father doesn't live in the house but her mother has told them stories about him. Hopefully this Titanic trip won't be so bad.

When they got on Titanic, the first thing they noticed was how luxurious the rooms were. Not the third and second class rooms. But the first class rooms. Rose smiled at her new room, "wow mother. These rooms are amazing." Cal looked at his soon to be wife and blushed. He loved how happy she was no matter what the circumstances were. All Rose wanted to do was hav a good day.

Soon it was time for lunch, they all went out to eat at Café Persian. Where they ate lovely brunch breakfast and yummy lunch. "This food is amazing." Cal said as he was eating his waffle, Rose giggled at her soon to be husband as he ate his waffle.

As for Ruth she was eating like a woman and she was also enjoying her food, she asked the waiter if she could have some more of her breakfast beer. Since that was a thing. Rose wasn't going to drink, she was going to wait until nighttime to drink, she got up from the table and went to walk around the inside.

After a while she met Mr. Andrews, the owner of the Titanic. Rose looked at the man and felt happy, "hello Mr. Andrews. How are you?" She asked, "I am good, young Rose." Both of them stopped looking at each other when a young poor man went into the decks. He looked kind of handsome, but he was poor, and Rose is in love with Cal.

So how could the relationship work out anyways? Since Rose already has a relationship. With a nice man named Cal, "I'm sure everything will be alright. Rose." Mr. Andrews said, Rose gave him a hug and she left. Her mother was waiting for her at the grand staircase.

They were going to have a father daughter walk, which is what Ruth calls it. Rose just calls it, a time of tourture.

During their walk Rose and Ruth discussed her marriage with Cal, they talked about wedding plans, seating arrangements and everything inbewteen. Rose smiled at her mother some but when she talked about how big it was going to be, that's when she stopped smiling.

"Rose? Is everything alright?" Her mom asked.

"Yes, mother." She replied.

"You don't seem too happy."

"That's because I am not."

"I think you just said you were?"

"You heard me wrong."

"Okay?"

"So, about the wedding—"

"Ugh! I don't wanna talk about it anymore."

"Rose…"

She left without saying goodbye. This was the ship of dreams, or now it wasn't…
