Violet groaned heavily, her head pounding yet again as she came to. There was a low whirring noise in the background and the air was cold, making her arms shiver and the little airs stand on edge. Her head rolled to the side, her eyes squeezing as pain shot through her forehead and her neck as if she had a bruise there.

Her eyes fluttered open, blinking back the blurriness around her and she took in her surroundings. There was a large window to the left and the right to her and as she squinted to make out what was outside, she saw the tops of trees pass by her and realised she was moving. The floor was steel and hard, reflecting what was inside around her. in front of her was a seat and what looked like a control panel in front of it. that's when it hit her… she was in a helicopter.

'How did I get here?' she thought to herself.

Next to the empty seat in front of her was another seat but this one was occupied. Her eyes met the back of the head, the familiar long brown hair being the only thing she could see and suddenly it all came flooding back to her.

The fight in her house, the solider trying to take her, the house being ripped to pieces and then her near escape which ended in her passing out. The drug he used not only made her neck ache but her whole body. Violet scrambled to stand up but was stopped dead as she realised, she was restrained. Her hands were placed in some restraint system in front of her. A strong and thick metal box with two holes for her hands to poke out the other end. It was perched on top of a stand between her legs. The seatbelt was attached to her chest from all angles, and she was firmly held on her own seat at the back of the helicopter.

The solider at front made no move to look behind him even though he knew she was awake. Her knew the moment she had made that groan. Instead, he kept his eyes focused on front, flying the helicopter at a steady speed, hands firmly holding the controls in front of him.

Violet started to panic, her heart rate going up and slamming in her chest. Where was she being taken to? Did her parents know she was missing? Violet swallowed the hard lump in the back of her throat, her throat sore and stingy.

"What's going on?" she said softly, breaking the silence of the helicopter. The solider didn't respond and Violet cleared her throat, hoping to catch his attention.

"Where are you taking me?" she said, this time a bit more forceful but no answer. The solider glanced into a mirror above him, locking eyes with her, his steel blue ones dark and intimidating. He looked back in front of him as he flew the helicopter and Violet took a shaky breath. She was scared, nervous and confused.

"Please, whatever it is you want I probably don't have it" she begged, her hands fighting against the steel cage they were locked in. She couldn't move them at all and there was no way of simply slipping out of the box. There was still no reply from the solider and Violet gulped. There was one question she was dying to ask but afraid of the answer.

"Are you going to kill me?" she said quieter, fear in her voice and eyes locked to the back of his head. After a few seconds, his voice spoke from behind his mask.

"No" was all he said, and Violet sighed in relief, her body relaxing, her chest falling as she had tensed up. But if he wasn't going to kill her, what did he intend to do with her? This obviously had to be related to the events over the last few days. She was involved in Nick Fury's shooting… did it have something to do with that? Her parents were currently trying to uncover the secrets of S.H.I.E.L.D and they too were involved in the shooting. They all witnessed it and her father had even gone after the shooter.

"What are you going to do with me?" she squeaked. The worst possible scenario flashed in her mind, and she tensed up again. Violet silently begged to herself, praying he wasn't going to rape her or torture her but judging by his lack of words, it could be anything.

The solider didn't answer and Violet felt the tears spring to her eyes. She sniffled them back, not wanting to look weak here and took a brave deep breath, holding her head high.

"Please you don't have to do this, just let me go and I won't tel- "suddenly the solider rose from his seat, stomping over to her and standing right before her, tall and large. Violet pressed herself back into the chair, her fists clenching together even though they were useless to her. She gazed up at him, her body frozen. She instantly regretted opening her mouth and wished she had stayed quiet despite being terrified of the situation.

The solider reached forward, grabbing her cheeks between his metal hand, cold fingers digging into the skin and held her face. He leaned closer to her, his face only a few inches from her. His cologne hit her senses and was intoxicating, almost sending her on a high. With his other hand, his normal human hand, he reached up to his face, holding one finger against his mouth gesturing her to keep quiet.

Violet couldn't take her eyes off his, falling under his deadly spell. As her eyes stayed locked to his, his looked down to her lips. His metal thumb ran over them, pulling her bottom one down slightly and pinging it back. A tingle shot through Violet's body, a sensation she hadn't felt before and when his metal hand dropped from her face, she finally was able to breath. He gave one last warning look at her before returning to his seat at the control panel.

Violet didn't make a sound after that. She didn't want to anger him and cause him to hurt her. there was something about this solider that she couldn't put her finger on. His strength, his ability to keep her silent all with that warning, his metal arm. He was like some sort of super soldier, like her dad. His fight skills were incredible despite her having to fend herself off him and his deadliness with his eyes was another story.

Violet sat in silence, staring at her restrained hands. If only she was able to slip them out, she could have a chance of getting out of here. But then again, what would she do? She was no match for this solider unless she killed him and better yet, she didn't know how to fly a helicopter, so she was risking both their lives.

'Perhaps I can trick him' she thought to herself. Get him distracted and make a run for it when they were on ground. But would she be able to get away? She had no phone, no money, nothing on her to use as a weapon although he seemed to have plenty and no doubt there were more hidden in this helicopter.

She glanced over at the window and noticed it was starting to get dark, the sun setting behind the clouds and a beautiful orange and purple sky beginning to appear. Her mind went to her parents. They must be worried sick about her, not know where she is. She wondered if they managed to uncover anything involving the information they received. No doubt they were already looking for her.

'If only I had that gun on me at the time' Violet felt her guilt crawling back to her. She was an idiot to leave the gun in her room. her mother gave it to her for that very reason and now here she was, captive to this super soldier and with no clue what was going to happen to her.

Her attention was called away from her brainstorming as the soldier reached for a walkie talkie on the control panel, holding it close to his covered mouth. He spoke in what seemed to be Russian and so Violet hadn't a clue what he was saying. A moment later, a voice replied in Russian, and the soldier answered.

Violet felt the helicopter start to descend and she looked out the window, watching as he landed it in a forest, trees and bushes being blown like in a storm, leaves falling and blowing across the forest floor. The blades of the helicopter came to a slow stop, the whirring noise coming to an end which Violet was thankful for. She could finally think properly and figure a way out of here.

The soldier stood from his seat, shutting off the helicopter and then stood in the middle. Violet watched with wide eyes as he took out a handgun, cocking it and checking its bullets. Violet felt her stomach tighten in a knot as if someone was pulling two ends of the string. She wiggled in her seat, clearly showing she was distressed. He told her he wasn't going to kill her, but had he been lying. Did he get so annoyed with her before that now he changed his mind.

''Oh god I'm going to die, I knew I should have kept quiet' she thought to herself, and she held her breath. She was about to start begging him to let her live but to her surprise, he placed the gun back in its holster and she relaxed, shaky breaths escaping her as she released the tension in her shoulders. But then the soldier walked towards her, standing in front of her.

"Wh-what's going on?" she whimpered, and the soldier reached behind him, pulling out those same metal cuffs he intended to place on her before. Violet gasped softly as he snapped one onto her wrist where he could and then reached into his pocket, pulling out a funny looking key to open the metal box. The box snapped open, releasing her hands and Violet took a chance to yank her hand away but was snatched back by the soldier.

"Ahhh" she hissed as he gripped it tightly, snapping the other cuff and locking them tightly, the metal digging into her skin. Elegantly, he wrapped his hand around the middle and with his other hand, he unbuckled the seatbelt. Violet was yanked to her feet, stumbling forwards, and almost falling into his leather chest, her eyes staring up from under her lashes. His strong musky cologne hit her senses again and she couldn't help but like the smell. It was powerful and pungent, almost like a drug.

The soldier whipped his gun out again, fingers curling around the trigger and handle, and he lifted it up.

"You try to run, and I will shoot you" he murmured, the end of the gun tapping her lips, the cold metal stinging. Violet was at a loss for words, her body shaking, eyes never leaving those blue ones that dominated her.

"Do you understand" she nodded slowly, fear dripping off her. His eyes narrowed slightly as if he gave a look of approval, as if he was enjoying this, enjoying watching her scared and submissive to his orders.

"Where are we going?" she squeaked.

"To rest and get supplies" he said simply. His metal hand curled around her arm, digging into his flesh, and pulled her out of the helicopter. She landed on the wet grass which was slightly slippy and she had to keep her balance to stop her from falling over. Only then did she notice she was wearing shoes as she could have sworn while she was fighting him, she was only in socks. He must have put some on for her.

The soldier locked the door of the helicopter before and took his hold of her arm firmly as they set off into the forest.
