Authors Opening: I've never really written before, so please excuse any typos or misses. The most writing I've ever done is for school projects, and work. This is an idea I had that crosses over Lupin III and Persona 5.

Some canon might be changed to fit the narrative, and plenty of references to both series will be made. I will not explain everything , though I'll try to explain the basics of each when needed.

I'm open to ideas and discussions.

This is the Intro Chapter, I plan for the regular chapters to be 5-6k words.

This story will have Strong Language, Full Nudity(No Sex will be shown, though may be implied), Death, smoking, drinking, and other Adult Themes.

Lupin III is a trade mark of MonkeyPunch.

Persona 5 is a trade mark of Atlus/Sega.

Please Enjoy.

The hum of the ceiling fan was the only thing that broke the silence of the small dusty apartment, as the sun basked in through the front windows. It was early Sunday morning, and people on the outside were getting ready for another day of their lives.

Inside of the small apartment was a green couch where an unmoving figure laid on it, his breathing being the only indication that he was still alive as he was almost unmoving, lost in a realm of dreams.

However, as the clock ticked to eight in the morning, an old school alarm clock began to ring beside the couch. After a couple of seconds, the figure gave a low groan and barely moved as he raised his hand into the air and slammed it down onto the alarm clock. The Alarm stopped upon impact, as the figure on the couch raised himself and ruffled his hair with the same hand.

"Ugh…" The figure looked around the small apartment with droopy eyes, raising his hand to his mouth as he gave a yawn.

Before he could finish his yawn however, one of the doors in the room opened as a man with a black beard in a suit walked out, his hat pulled down so it covered his eyes. The figure on the couch looked over and raised a hand in a wave.

"Morning, Jigen."

"Morning."

The figure that had walked out was Jigen Daisuke, an expert marksman who could take out any target with his trusty .357 Magnum.

Jigen walked over to a corner of the apartment where a fridge was located as he opened it up and rested against the door, looking over the contents as he quipped. "Find any targets last night, Lupin?"

The figure on the couch was Lupin III, a legendary thief known worldwide who could take whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted.

Shaking his tired head, Lupin leaned back down onto the couch as he folded his arms behind his head. "Nah, this town doesn't have much of anything other than a Junes supermarket. Not even any good local legends that could point to some kind of treasure."

"Hmph." Jigen grabbed an old burger from the fridge and began to unwrap it as he walked over and sat down in a chair next to the couch as he reached down and grabbed the remote off of the glass table in front of him, as he turned on the old CRT also in front of them.

After a moment of static, an interview program of sorts came on that showed a man and a woman, as the man began to speak.

"Haha, that's some great stuff…For now, we turn our attention to a company known as Shake Hanz Corporation, who recently claimed to have obtained a Calling card from the mysterious group known as The Phantom Thieves of Hearts."

Lupin's attention was immediately taken by the words as he turned his head over to the TV and narrowed them. "Shake Hanz Corporation? Phantom Thieves of Hearts?"

"We reached out to have a member of the company appear here today, and Ladies and Gentlemen I wish to introduce the CEO of Shake Hanz Corporation, Mr Enzo Bron."

Both Lupin and Jigen were now focused on the interview as a large man in a red suit appeared on stage as the audience clapped, as the man gave a wave to them all before sitting in between the Man and the Woman.

"Now Mr Bron, we understand that Shake Hanz Corporation had an accident last year that resulted in the destruction of the main headquarters, but you have relocated and restarted the company?"

"That's correct, after some initial struggles last year, we've refocused our business and have turned towards a more positive business approach. We've reopened our operations in Tokyo, and are excited about our future."

"You say a more positive business approach, does this have anything to do with Lupin III? Afterall, last year there were reports that Lupin and his gang were partially responsible for the destruction."

Enzo gave a deep laugh, before he folded his legs and continued explaining.

"There are multiple factors that went into the change of our approach, but I will say that we did indeed deal with Lupin III last year." There was some chatter in the audience from the comment as Enzo reached inside of his pocket and pulled something out. "However, it seems we have attracted a different sort of Phantom Thief this time around."

Once Enzo pulled the card out from his pocket, more chatter came from the crowd and the interviewer looked it over. "That looks like a calling card from the Phantom Thieves of Hearts."

"That is correct, I obtained this yesterday morning and instead of hiding away I have decided to let it be known to the public that these thieves are targeting me and my company. Unlike the other people these thieves have gone after, I have nothing to hide."

"Very admirable Mr Bron, do you have any idea why they might be targeting you then?"

"My best guess…Is that they plan to use me to draw out Lupin III." Lupin and Jigen both perked up from this statement, confusion in their heads as Enzo continued. "These Phantom Thieves know that I have some sort of connection to the legendary thief, and wish to invade my company and steal any info I have on him, all by using the pretense of stealing my heart."

"But Mr Bron, why would they wish to target Lupin III?"

"Isn't it obvious? They wish to change his heart and have him commit his crimes to the police…While also likely stealing all of the valuables he has accumulated over his lifetime. They are still thieves at the end of the day, and it's obvious as the more targets they went after, the more money they acquired. Simply look at how grand their scope went, from targeting an abusive teacher, all the way to taking down a politician aiming to become Prime Minister." Enzo then turned and faced the camera directly as he smiled. "Though I'm sure Lupin III would gladly accept a challenge from them himself if they ever made their true intentions known."

Lupin narrowed his eyes as Jigen bit into his burger, chewing it up and swallowing before he leaned back. "Tch, Phantom Thieves of Hearts? I've never heard of them."

Lupin sat up on the couch, crossing his arms as he spoke. "I got wind of them last year during that whole 'Lupin Game' stuff, apparently they were one of the reasons it died down like it did. People apparently became obsessed with them, and even now I think they're pretty big."

"Hm? What are they, a group of thieves?"

"From what I gathered, they mostly work in Tokyo, and are said to steal the hearts of their victims."

"Steal their hearts?"

"To put it more simply, once they have a target, they are somehow forced to admit everything they've ever done. From a Mob Boss, to a CEO of a company to even as Enzo said, a Politician. Every evil deed they've ever done, they admit to it with delay and with full guilt."

"Hmph, sounds like some kind of toture."

"Hm…" Lupin pondered for a second before he pushed himself up to the couch, walking over to a closet door as he opened it up, grabbing a black button up shirt and throwing it on; before buttoning it up and putting on some black jeans. "Jigen, get ready, we're moving out."

"Huh? Where to?"

"Tokyo, I want to see these Phantom Thieves for myself."

"Are you serious man?"

"Yeah, not like we have anything else to do. Besides, if Enzo is correct, then they might have a fortune on them somewhere."

"How are we going to find them though? Thieves don't exactly announce to the world where their hideout is."

"We just have to do some good old fashioned surveillance, talk to people, break into a police station or two, investigate their old targets…We'll find something eventually."

Jigen gave a short sigh before shaking his head, finishing off his burger before he pushed himself up. "Well, guess I'll go pack my things then."

"Yeah, we'll be moving out so don't leave anything. Now…" Lupin looked over his closet, jackets of all colors hanging up. After a moment of deciding, he smirked as he reached in and grabbed one.

Throwing the jacket up and over him, he slid the Red Clothing over him and gave a smile.

"Now then, Tokyo, here we come!"

Tokyo; Cafe Leblanc

"That is correct, I obtained this yesterday morning and instead of hiding away I have decided to let it be known to the public that these thieves are targeting me and my company." The small TV in the cafe blared out as a older man leaned against the bar counter, Newspaper in hand though his eyes were focused on the TV.

Across from him at one of the booths sat two people and a cat, also watching the TV. After a couple of moments, one of the people, a blond haired kid in a red tank top slammed his hands against the table. "What the hell is he talking about? We never sent him anything!"

"Ryuji! Calm down!" The cat looked up and spoke to the Blond Hair kid, identifying him as Ryuji Sakamoto, a member of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts with the code name of Skull.

"But…" Ryuji clenched his fist as the older man at the counter looked over at him, before looking back at the TV. Grinding his teeth together, Ryuji looked over at the other person, a black haired boy wearing glasses. "What do you think is going on man?"

"Hm…" The Black haired boy raised his hand to his chin, rubbing it in confusion. The cat gave a low sigh as he spoke once again.

"I doubt Akira knows anything either, Ryuji." The cat identified the other boy as Akira Kusuru, leader of the Phantom Thieves with the code name of Joker.

"Well what else do you expect me to do Morgana?" Finally Ryuji identified the cat as Morgana, another member of the Phantom Thieves with the code name of Mona.

"I expect you to be calm and not act insane."

"But come on! Our reputation is on the line here! This guy is going on the biggest Talk Show in Japan and claiming we sent him a calling card! He even has a fake one! If his heart isn't changed, then what?"

"I'm sure we don't have anything to worry about, the police will investigate it and should be able to see it's a fake. Plus I'm sure they can pin down the problems with his remarks, from the fact he got a calling card yesterday and is still fine, from having just moved to Japan without any complaints on him on the Phan Site…Nothing really adds up."

"Still this pisses me off…Also who the Hell is this Lupin guy anyway? I've never heard of him!"

"Beats me, nobody at school ever mentions him from what I can hear."

"Huh? You don't know Lupin III?" The one to speak up was the man at the counter, looking back at them from the TV. Turning fully around revealed a name tag of Sojiro pinned on the front, revealing him to be Sojiro Sakura, the owner of the Cafe and an ally of the Phantom Thieves.

"Huh? Do you know him boss?" Sojiro nodded at Ryujis comment as he laid the paper onto the counter.

"Lupin III is a name I've heard since I was your age I guess…Well maybe a little younger, I was thirteen at the time when I heard about some guy named Lupin III saving a princess by the name of Clarisse de Cagliostro…Guess that was about thirty eight years ago now."

"T-Thirty Eight? This Lupin guy must be an old man by now!"

"You would think so, but from what I heard he's still active and as persistent as ever. Just last year there was an entire game about him or something…Guess that ended about the time you guys became well known."

"Really…?" Ryuji seemed confused about the entire thing, as Sojiro just gave him a short nod. During that conversation however, Akira raised his hand back to his chin as he rubbed it.

"Lupin…?"

"Hm? Something up kid?" Sojiro inquired.

Akira nodded, turning his gaze towards Sojiro. "Lupin sounds familiar…The name in general, not the thief."

"Well, he comes from a family of crime afterall. Though I don't really know more than that, I'm sure you can just use the internet to find out more if you want." Akira looked at Sojiro for a couple more seconds before giving a small nod and turning back to the table, the TV still raging on as the sound of rain could be heard outside.

"In any case…" Morgana took back over the conversation. "For now, we'll wait and see what the police say. If they determine it to be a fake, then we move on…If they think it's real though, then we'll take this more seriously."

"What do we do in the meantime?" Asked Ryuji.

"Well we don't have any palaces or jails to worry about, the girls are out shopping and Yusuke is at some art show…So I guess the three of us could just relax today."

"Hm…Want to go to the Arcade?"

"Sure, why not." Morgana stretched on the table before jumping onto Akiras shoulder and then into his bag as Akira and Ryuji pushed themselves up and stretched. "Thanks for the coffee boss, we're heading out to the Arcade."

"Alright, be safe out there." He said in his usual neutral voice as Akira and Ryuji nodded, grabbing their umbrellas as they headed towards the door.

The rain was pouring down hard as Akira and Ryuji walked beside each other, with Morgana hanging out in Akiras bag. Although it was an off day for many, the streets were lightly crowded thanks to the rain as people hurried to their destination.

As they walked down the road, Ryuji went to speak, when all of a sudden…

"Ack!" They heard a scream in front of them, and when they looked, they saw a brunette woman falling to the ground as a man made off with her purse. "H-Hey give that back!"

As soon as he saw what happened, Akira suddenly sprinted forward after the man. "W-Whoah up man!"

Ryuji called out as he followed after Akira, whose speed was rapidly picking up thanks to his training in Palaces and Mementos.

"You little…Huh?" The woman was pushing herself up but stopped herself as Akira ran past her, picking up steam as he approached the pocket poacher.

Unveiling himself from the bag, Morgana hopped onto Akiras shoulder and then made a sudden jump, landing on the thiefs back. "W-What the-AGH! Stupid Cat!"

Morgana suddenly latched his claws into the man's back, causing him to cry out as he stopped and reached behind to grab Morgana off of him. However, before he could, Akira caught up to him as he delivered a sudden left hook to the man, catching him dead on.

"ACK!" The man cried out as the punched tossed him backwards, causing him to land onto his back and roll over as he looked up to Akira. "Y-You little punk!"

The man quickly pushed himself up, lunging at Akira with a punch of his own. However, once again thanks to his time in the Metaverse, Akira side stepped him as he raised his arm, bringing it down onto the back of the mans head.

"Blagh!" The man cried out once again as he fell face first into the ground, being knocked out cold as Ryuji came screeching to a halt.

"S-Slow down man…Damn….O-Oh you got him."

Akira nodded as Morgana jumped back onto his arm, as Akira walked over and picked up the purse off the ground. "Ryuji, call the police."

"H-Huh? O-Oh right…" Ryuji reached into his pocket and pulled out his cellphone, dialing the numbers as Akira looked down at the purse. It was Pink with a red ribbon on it, with a gold plate on the front.

The gold Plate had initials drilled into it.

FM.

Akira looked the purse over, but after a couple of moments.

"Um…" Akira looked up at the sound of the voice…

As soon as he did, his eyes went wide.

The woman that the man had robbed was standing close to him, an umbrella now over her head though her body was still wet from the fall. Her brunette hair reached won to her shoulders, as she was dressed in a white rain jacket, with long red pants extending to her casual shoes. Although she wasn't dressed fancy or anything…

She was the most beautiful woman Akira had ever seen before.

His breath somewhat catching in his throat, the cool and collected leader of the Phantom Thieves was at a loss for words as she stood in front of him. However, before an awkward silence could form, the woman gave a smile at him. "Thank you for getting my purse back."

"Huh? A-Ah right." Akira briefly spoke, walking over to her and handing the purse over as she took it back.

"I guess I was pretty careless, having my purse out in the open like that. Thanks all the same though." The woman gave a breathtaking smile to Akira, who again was lost in her beauty. "Hm? Oh you're a teenager aren't you?"

"H-Huh? Ah yeah I am…"

"Do you go to school around here?"

"Y-Yeah, I've transferred back for my final semester. I attend Shujin Academy."

"Shujin…? That's a coincidence then!" Akira raised an eyebrow as he cocked his head. "Starting tomorrow, I'll be teaching English at Shujin!"

"O-Oh…" So the woman was a teacher then?

"What's your name?"

"Akira…Akira Kusuru…"

"Well it's nice to meet you Akira Kusuru! My name is Rosarie Margo!" She gave another smile to him, as Akira gave a nod towards her.

"A pleasure to meet you then, Margo-sensei." Akira gave the most formal greeting he could, as he attempted to recover his nerves.

Ryuji soon joined back up beside Akira. "Hey man the police are on their way, and-...O-Oh…"

Ryuji was also stopped when he took in the appearance of Rosarie, his own voice being caught in his throat as she looked over at him and smiled. "Are you a student at Shujin too?"

"S-Shujin? A-Ah Yeah I am…"

"Then nice to meet you! I'm Rosarie Margo, the new English teacher at Shujin."

"E-English teacher…"

"Yep! What's your name?"

"Uh…R-Ryuji Sakamoto…"

"Well as I said to Kusuru here, it is a pleasure to meet you Ryuji Sakamoto."

"Y-Yeah…Same to you teach…" Ryuji scratched the back of his head, a small blush on his face as Rosari kept her smile.

"Well you two should head on before the police arrive; be a bad look if two high school students got into a physical altercation."

"Huh? But…"

"Oh don't worry about me, Kusuru here seems to have knocked him out rather good. So I should be fine until the police arrive."

"Well…If you say so…" Ryuji wasn't sure if it was the right thing to do, but he slowly turned and began to walk away. "Hey… You coming dude?"

He called towards Akira, who after a moment swallowed and nodded. "Yeah…"

Akira took a few steps back while still looking at Rosarie, before turning fully around as he jogged to catch up to Ryuji as the two made their exit.

Rosarie watched them walk away for a bit, before she turned her eyes to her purse, opening it up to reveal several notes and photos.

"Hm…That black haired boy; He seems to have some skill despite being just a high schooler. I wonder why?" She gave a low snicker to herself as she wrote something in her purse, before closing it back and placing it into her pocket before she began to depart the scene, wanting nothing to do with the police herself once they had arrived.
