Takemichy has encountered all kinds of people. Most of them always had ulterior motives—say wanting to meet the new leader of Black Dragon, and wanting to gain his favor.
There were other incidents that ended contributing to his captains and vice captains acting as either protectors or bodyguards.
So it goes without saying they had every right to start freaking out when Mikey and Draken from Tokyo Manji Gang just showed up and wanted to meet with him.
That's why he's not all that bent out of shape by Hinata's hostile approach to Mikey. She believed he was here to start something—hence why she reacted the way she did.
As for the boy currently scarfing down the cookies he made, well…he'd certainly seen him somewhere before.
A distant memory in the back of his mind is telling him he's right.
'Sano Manjirō…' Who would have thought he'd eventually cross paths with the younger brother.
It was bound to happen eventually.
'He has a childlike personality, but that's only on the surface.' Takemichi wondered which was the real Sano Manjirō—the carefree persona, or the one that leads Toman?
Takemichi looked Mikey dead in the eye, "So, you came here causing all kinds of chaos and mayhem…because you want to play."
"Mm."
"With me."
"Mm!"
…
…crazy bastard.
'Well, we have our own fair share of crazy bastards in Black Dragon.' Shiba fits that description.
Looking over at Draken, he can see the taller boy was used to such whims from his captain, and didn't look all that surprised.
Yeah, he's used to situations like this.
Takemichi was silent as he contemplated what his next move was going to be. From the look in Manjirō's eyes he's serious about wanting to hang out with him for the day.
'No hostility, either. He really just wants to talk.' This might be the first time someone from another gang just wanted to hang out and talk.
"Fine." Takemichi complied with the request. Might as well humor him just for today. Looking up into Mikey's eyes, he saw them sparkle.
Uh…
Maybe he should have refused, but something told him that even if he did refuse the blond would just keep on pestering him until he agreed.
Great…
Mikey slammed both hands down on the table, "Then, let's go play, Takemichi!" He repeated.
"You already said that." Takemichi calmly replied, "Shizuki, stay here."
Shizuki sits up straight, "Yes." The only reason he wasn't insisting on going with them is because he trusts his leader will be safe with Mikey and Draken.
Takemichi stands up, "So, where are we going?"
Grabbing his wrist, Mikey proceeds to drag him away from the table. Sighing at his leader's antics, Draken also stands up, "Sorry about the disturbance."
Shizuki smiled, "Don't worry about it. I can handle things from here, that includes Tachibana-san."
"Thanks." Draken thanked him and followed after the other two. Shizuki merely watched them all go, not even bothering to stop them. Mikey suddenly showing up was unexpected, but then again perhaps they should have expected this to happen.
Mikey is known to be unpredictable, so they probably should have seen this one coming.
Shizuki only fully relaxes when he senses they're no longer on school grounds, "They're gone." He said.
Stepping out from behind the trees was Shadow. He was wearing his black hoodie, but the stark difference this time was a black mask that covered the lowered part of his face. Shadow's eyes weren't visible as the hoodie covered them from being seen.
"You didn't stop them." Shadow spoke in a low tone.
"Neither did you." Shizuki gently retorts.
Huffing, Shadow takes Takemichi's previous spot, "Fair point, though Tachibana did try to get rid of them herself." Seeing her attempt to fight Mikey would have been too entertaining to miss.
Shizuki smiled, "She did, but went about doing it the wrong way." Takemichi made the right call to stop her when he did otherwise things could have turned out a whole lot worse.
Shadow shrugged, "If you say so." He takes a cookie off the table before pulling his mask down to eat it.
"I'm surprised you're here and not acting as Takemichi's shadow," Aside from Inui, Shadow didn't want their leader to meet up with Mikey for a personal reason, "Do you trust Mikey to keep our leader safe?"
Shizuki observed how Shadow became silent, and knew he was in the middle of pondering his own thoughts at the moment, "Maybe…" he replied.
There's a small worried tone in there, but Shizuki had a feeling Shadow trusted Mikey to keep their leader safe without them there.
'Only thing to worry about now is how to break the news to Inui-senpai…' Shizuki could practically see the older boy's pale face. Well, they'll just leave the rest to Kokonoi-senpai.
'I wonder how the future will turn out now?' He wondered.
"Hey, Takemichi, are you really a middle schooler?" Mikey questioned.
Takemichi didn't say anything for a moment from his place behind Mikey on his bike. Draken was riding next to them on his own bike. Of all things he was expecting, it certainly wasn't that. What possessed him to ask Takemichi such a serious question he had no idea, but…
"Do you see me as someone other than a middle schooler?" Takemichi countered his question with another.
Mikey pouted, even though Takemichi couldn't see it, "Hey, I asked you first!" He said, childishly.
Takemichi rolled his eyes, "Don't start pouting and acting like a brat." Honestly, is this guy a man child or something?
"What happened with Osanai? No one's seen his face around lately." Draken questioned, mostly out of curiosity.
"Ah, we interrogated him after the fight was over and confirmed our suspicions." Takemichi answered.
Draken's interest peaked, "Suspicions? About what?"
Takemichi debated if he should tell them everything Osanai told them. How in the end the older thug was just being used and discarded—like a pawn on a chess board.
Might as well tell them since it directly involves them, anyway.
"Osanai isn't the strategic type," He replied, "But he also wasn't following orders. In the end, he was nothing more than a pawn that was no longer useful."
Draken frowned, "So he was being used the whole time?" Actually that would make more sense, now that he thinks about it.
Everything just…seemed to be planned out. Suddenly moving in on both Toman and Black Dragon's turf, attacking Pah-chin's friend and attempted sexual assault on his girlfriend.
Yeah, thinking about it all now only makes what Takemichy said more valid. Osanai doesn't have the brains to plan things out, but the person behind his actions does.
"Yeah, he spilled his guts out after Senju got done with him." Takemichi was there when the interrogation took place. Senju was merciless, and uncaring of Osanai's fear of punishment for ratting the mastermind out.
"Senju?" Mikey questioned.
"The other girl you saw that day standing next to Hina." Takemichi replied.
"Oh, her!" Mikey remembered her. The way she fought was interesting—she used her small size and speed to her advantage during the fight.
"She was pretty interesting, too. She's a tactical fighter, but the way she easily moved around the opposing side was impressive." Mikey complimented.
Takemichi stared at the back of his head, "Huh, so you're a martial artist."
"Mikey's a prodigy, has been ever since he was a kid." Draken provided.
An amused expression appeared on Tskenichi's face, "Figures."
"You're not so bad yourself." Mikey complimented Takemichi, "You were like a blur—the way you moved—it was cool."
The black haired teen's lip twitched a little, "Thanks for the compliment." What an interesting person Sano Manjirō is turning out to be.
When they finally arrived at their destination, the sun was already beginning to set. Takemichi stood a few feet behind Mikey—who was sitting down in the grass. Darken was standing a few feet from Takemichi as they all stared at the orange hue.
"Hey, Takemichi, why did you decide to lead Black Dragon?" Mikey questioned out of the blue.
Takemichi doesn't look all that surprised by the sudden inquiry as to why he would lead a gang with a bloody history. That all changed when he took over the gang by challenging and beating Taijū Shiba.
Because of his efforts, Black Dragon is slowly reverting back to its roots that the First Generation set up before them.
"I wasn't interested in leading Black Dragon at first, but…" He answered, "…as you can see, things changed and here I am." It really wasn't an answer, per say, but this should suffice.
Mikey hummed, seemingly satisfied, but he definitely wanted to know more.
"Why did you decide to make contact with me?" Takemichi got straight to the point.
Mikey smiled, though Takemichi couldn't see it, "You remind me of my brother."
Takemichi remained silent, not saying a word. Of all things for Mikey to say, why would it be a comparison to his brother of all people?
"Nowadays, people just think delinquents are lame." Mikey continued.
That's true.
There are some voices here and there about how being a delinquent isn't cool anymore like it used to. Times change, so do people.
"When my big bro was still running Black Dragon, there were so many gangs around here," Mikey said, wind blowing against his jacket, "You could always hear their super-loud bikes as they went by."
A look appears in Takemichi's eyes, but otherwise remains silent.
"They all acted super tough," Mikey smiled, reminiscing, "They fought all the time…but they always cleaned up their own messes. What's so lame about that?"
Closing his eyes, Takemichi responded, "Nothing. To them that was normal."
Mikey tilted his head back to look at him and smiled before staring back out into the horizon, "That's why I'm gonna make a new era for delinquents."
'So that's what you've chosen to do.' Takemichi could see the resemblance between the younger and older brother.
Mikey looks at him, "That's why, you should stand by my side, Takemichy."
Takemichi lifts a curious brow, "Interesting thing to ask someone you've just met. Though, this is our second meeting."
Black eyes glowed with happiness, "You remember?" He sounded really happy.
"Yeah…it was snowing that day." No matter how hard he tried, the face of that blonde boy he saw that day stayed in his mind. And now he knows why…
…the boy he saw that day was none other than Mikey.
Draken looked surprised by the admittance, "Wait, so you're the "mysterious snow boy" Mikey wouldn't just up about?"
Takemichi gives Mikey a dry look, "Hell of a nickname to give someone." He said, unimpressed.
"Not my fault I forgot to ask for your name!" Mikey defends, pouting like a child.
"Yes, yes," Takemichi said, dismissively, "But that goal of yours…it's not a bad one to have."
Both members of Toman smiled at the acceptance of Mikey's goal for the delinquent world.
BUZZ! BUZZ! BUZZ!
They both blink as Takemichi's cell phone goes off in his pocket. Unfazed, the teen answered but oddly enough kept the phone far away from him.
"TAKEMICHI, YOU LITTLE SHIT!"
…
…
…
"…the hell…?" Draken was bewildered and wasn't expecting someone to start shouting from the other end of the phone.
Mikey's face was priceless.
Instead of putting the phone back up to his ear, Takemichi decided to put it on speakerphone, "Akkun, you're too loud."
"I DON'T GIVE A SHIT! HOW THE HELL DID I GET STUCK ACTING AS HINA'S BABYSITTER, WHILE YOU GO OFF AND PLAY WITH THOSE GUYS FROM TOMAN?!"
'This might be the first time he blew up at me. Probably stressed out about Mikey and Draken showing up out of nowhere, and Hina almost losing it.' Takemichi guessed, "I already calmed her down enough to where she won't cause any trouble."
"HAH?! WHAT KIND OF BULLSHIT EXCUSE IS THAT?!"
'Ah, Akkun snapped.' Takuya smiled as Makoto and Yamagishi inches further away from the livid red haired teen.
"YOU GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE RIGHT NOW! I'M NOT DEALING WITH THIS SHIT TODAY! OH, AND TELL THE INVINCIBLE MIKEY THIS SHIT IS ALL HIS FAULT!" Letting loose all his anger, Akkun ended the call, panting heavy as he relapsed all of his rage.
Takuya clapped his hands, "Wow, that was really something. Feel better now?"
Akkun whirled on him, "SHUT THE HELL UP, YOU CREEPY SMILING BASTARD!"
'Oh, he's still mad.' Takuya thinks, Makoto and Yamagishi getting even further away from a rage filled Akkun.
"That's my cue to go. See you around." Takemichi sends a wave their way, turning his back to them, "Before I forget, be wary of the one with the cunningness of a fox, and venomous words like a snake." With those parting words, he left them there to deal with an irate Akkun.
Draken seemed to take the warning to heart, "Must be talking about the mastermind who used Osanai and his gang to start causing trouble."
"Mm." Mikey has this feeling that Takemichi knows exactly who the mastermind is, but doesn't want to say.
At least for now.
Mikey also guessed the reason Takemichi warned them was because it involved them in some way. He wants them to be on their guard, and be watchful at all times.
Time to call for a meeting.
Akkun was about to lose it. Again.
There's not so much bullshit antics he can put up with when it comes to Black Dragon members.
Like the new situation he's dealing with right now.
Hina all smiles while holding the hand of some random blonde haired girl, who looked rightfully confused. Takemichi was just standing there all nonchalant.
Takuya took one look at them before smiling, "Decided to start kidnapping girls now, Hina-chan? How bold of you."
Takemichi snorts, looking away from the impending chaos.
"Ara, I don't remember kidnapping anyone. Besides, she came here willingly." Hinata replied, hugging the girl's arm.
"Um…I feel like I'm missing something here." The blonde girl was so confused.
Takuya gave the girl a reassuring smile, "Hello, miss. We didn't mean to cause you any kind of confusion. We're from Black Dragon."
She blinked, "Wait, really? You're all with Black Dragon?" Her surprise was genuine.
"That's right, the one holding onto your arm is our very own Hinata-chan. She's a captain." Takuya revealed.
"Really? You have girls in your gang?" She was even more surprised by that. Female's joining an all male gang was unheard of.
Hinata smiled at her, "Of course we do. In fact, the leader of Black Dragon is currently standing next to you."
The girl looks at a silent Takemichi, who had his attention on something else. His black hair looked silky and smooth, despite its curled style.
"Our very own Ryōgi Takemichi in the flesh." Takuya happily introduced the black haired teen.
"Ah, that reminds me, I haven't asked your name yet." Hinata said.
"Oh, I'm Sano Emma! Nice to meet you!" Emma replied.
"Emma-chan, such a cute name! I'm Tachibana Hinata—you can just call me Hina-chan!" Hinata said, smiling.
"Eh, you sure?" Emma was silently hoping this girl was indeed serious.
"Mm, let's be friends, Emma-chan!" Hinata beamed.
Emma was equally beaming, "Sure, I'd love to, Hina-chan!"
Both girls giggled, ignoring the work around them. Takuya was nodding his head, "A new friendship is born. Good for Hina-chan."
"What…the hell…just happened?" Akkun sounded tired, confused, but most of all done with everything right now.
Takemichi was the one that answered, "They both made a new friend."
"I can see that." Akkun replied.
"Then why bother to ask when you already know?" Takuya teased.
Akkun's death glare was enough to shut Takuya up. Takemichi was amused by their antics.
BUZZ! BUZZ! BUZZ!
Takemichi takes his phone and looks to see who was calling him. It showed Draken's name. He almost forgot he even gave the two blonde's his cell number yesterday before their little bike ride.
He answered the phone, "Draken, what is it?"
Emma was surprised to hear him say Draken's name before remembering both Mikey and Draken went to meet him yesterday.
"Yo Takemichy, where are you right now?"
"I'm with three members of Black Dragon, and Sano Emma." He replied.
"You know Emma?"
Takemichi picks up on his surprised tone, "No, we ran into her unexpectedly. You know her?"
"Yeah, she's Mikey's younger sister."
He looks at the girl out of the corner of his eye. There's some family resemblance between the two now that he gets a good look at her.
"I see, anyway, did you need something?" He focuses back on Draken.
"Yeah, if you guys aren't doing anything right now then come to the Musashi Temple. Mikey wants you to be there."
Of course he does, Takemichi thinks. Ever since that day, Mikey's been waiting for him after school every single day, wanting to hang out. Takemichi didn't mind, though the same couldn't be said for Inui and Shadow. They were the only two who had a problem with Mikey wanting to be close to him.
Those two looked afraid of something.
And it had something to do with Mikey, because of course it does.
"We'll be there." Takemichi ends the call before addressing the others, "Draken wants us at the Musashi Temple. Mikey's calling for a meeting and wants us to be there."
Akkun made a face, clearly not wanting to go. His feelings on Mikey became clear when the blonde decided to cause chaos at their school and almost made Hinata go wild.
"Ara, so the little boy wants us all to come? How nice." Hinata smiled, but once again it didn't really match her eyes.
Emma snorted, "Did…did you just call Mikey, " little boy ?" That's hilarious!" She was actually leaning against Hinata's grabbing hold of her shoulder so she wouldn't fall over.
"Right?" Hinata seemed to take a liking to Mikey's new nickname.
Takuya chuckled.
Rubbing his temples to stop the incoming headache from coming on, Akkun decided not to question the madness, "Let's…just go already…"
Takemichi was already walking away.
Location—Tokyo Manji Base: Musashi Shrine
Predictably they were the first one's to arrive.
Draken soon showed up and was indeed surprised to see Emma was with them, but didn't seem too worried. Not long after he showed up, other members of Tokyo Manji started rolling up on their bikes.
Some of them gave the trio odd and curious looks, but otherwise didn't say anything. None tried to pick a fight with them, either.
Hinata hummed, "How interesting, you all are smaller than us."
"Oh, you're right, Hina-chan." Takuya leaned forward, slightly.
"Both of you, be quiet." Akkun wasn't in the mood to play babysitter or mediator.
Takemichi shrugged his shoulders at Draken, "Ignore them. To them this is just another day to hang out." Besides, they weren't trying to start anything, so why not let them have their fun.
"Seriously, what's with that Hina chick? Seeing her again makes the hair's on the back of my neck stand up." Draken also felt a cold chill go down his spine as he remembered that sinister smile of hers when she confronted them when they first met. There was no fear…only a predator.
"Would you believe me if I told you she used to be all sunshine and rainbows?" Takemichi jokes, but he was being serious at the same time.
Judging by the look of disbelief on Draken's face, he didn't believe him.
Emma pouted at him, "Hey, don't say anything mean about Hina-chan! She's a sweet girl!"
"Huh? What part about her is sweet?" Draken questioned.
"Everything." Emma states.
"Are you daft?" He said.
"What's that supposed to mean?!" Emma fumed.
Takemichi stood there, watching them bicker, 'How she feels is clear. You can see it, but you hold back.' Draken better not waste anymore time—
—or the next time they speak to each other…it'll be their last.
After watching the two bicker some more, Draken gestured for them to the top of the shrine where Mikey soon arrived.
Takemichi watched as Mikey stepped up the tall stairs of the shrine. Draken was by his side in an instant, "Pipe down! Mikey's going to give an announcement!" As some of the lower members quieted down, Mikey started to address them.
"Before they were defeated by Black Dragon, Moebius had been active and stepping on not just our turf, but also Black Dragon." Mikey explained.
Takemichi could feel some gazes looking in their direction. He suspects they were gazes coming from the captains who probably already figured out who they are.
"We were gearing up to deal with them when Black Dragon decided to deal with them. Black Dragon also defended Pah-chin's friend." Mikey continued.
Akkun raised a brow and wondered why Mikey was doing this. Something told him Mikey had a reason for doing this, and decided to wait and see.
Mikey looked behind him slightly, eyes locking with Takemichi's. Understanding what the pale blonde wanted, he stood next to Mikey.
"Pah-chin, go ahead." Mikey said.
Pah-chin climbs the shrine steps. His steps are heavy and filled with purpose. Akkun kept his eyes on him, his body tense and ready to fight should things suddenly turn south.
But there was no need to worry—
Pah-chin bowed to Takemichi, "Thank you for helping my buddy! I'm in your debt!"
—because Pah-chin just wanted to thank Takemichi.
Takuya and Hinata both take pictures of Akkun's dry expression.
"Akkun really does make the most interesting faces." Hinata said.
"Right? We should send this to the others and have it framed." Takuya suggested.
Akkun looked so done, "Do you two crazies share the same brain cells or something?" Oh, god, wouldn't that be terrifying.
The two go quiet and look at him for a moment before smiling, "That would be nice~" they say in unison.
"Takemichi…" Akkun started to say.
"Let them have their fun. Besides, you set yourself up for that one, so you can't blame anyone but yourself." Takemichi said, unsympathetic.
Rolling his eyes, Akkun decided to ask him something, "Did you know Mikey was going to make that announcement?"
Takemichi shrugged, "I had a hunch."
"Sure you did." Akkun didn't believe him for a second. Standing a little further away from them were the captains of Touman and Mikey. They were having their private conversations from the looks of it. He saw the one with lilac hair, and long black hair tilt their heads over in their direction.
Their gazes were more focused on Takemichi. He doesn't know what it is, but they had this look in their eyes that looked nostalgic. This made his eyes narrow at them.
'Inui did say the first Black Dragon leader and Takemichi shared some similarities. And right now, I'm starting to think it isn't just Mikey we need to be wary of.' Akkun didn't miss the looks thrown Takemichi's way by some of the captains. Do they believe Takemichi and the first generation Black Dragon leader look the same?
He hoped not.
SNAP!
Blinking a couple of times, Akkun saw a phone pointed at him. It belonged to Takuya, who was the one that took the picture.
"You shouldn't make a face like that, Akkun," Takuya teased, "You'll get early wrinkles."
Very slowly, Akkun felt the thread of his patience snap.
"TAKUYA!"
Takemichi side-stepped out of the way as Akkun began to chase the laughing blonde around the shrine. The members of Touman were staring at the two in utter disbelief, even Emma was staring at them. The only ones who weren't all that surprised were Takemichi and Hinata, this is something they've gotten used to.
"Ahaha, there's no reason to get so mad, Akkun!" Takuya laughed, running around to avoid getting caught.
"You better start praying I don't catch you, you little shit!" Akkun yelled, chasing after him.
"Such foul language!" Takuya chided.
"That just earned you an ass beating!" Akkun said.
Hinata giggled at them, "We haven't seen them do this in awhile. It's nice."
"That's true." Takemichi agreed.
Mikey walked over to them and watched Akkun chase Takuya around the shrine in amusement, "Are they always like this?"
"Always. Might as well let them get all of this out of their system." Takemichi didn't bother trying to stop them. Let them enjoy the smaller things in life.
For the real chaos will soon begin.
Date: August 3rd
Location—Local Shrine At The Festival
"Wow, Emma-chan, that yukata looks amazing on you!" Hinata complimented the blonde girl. She was wearing her own yukata that was pink, while Emma's was dark blue.
Emma grinned, "You think so? Thank you, Hina-chan!" She twirled around in her dark blue yukata, grinning.
There was a festival going on and Takemichi had already promised Hinata they'd go. It was already crowded and in full swing. Draken, Mikey, and Emma were already waiting for them to arrive at the shrine where the festival was being held.
"Takemichi, I'm loving the all black kimono," Emma winked at him, "Very chic."
Takemichi decided to sport an all black kimono with koi fish patterns all over it. A few heads were turned his way, both male and female, though with one look from Mikey they all quickly looked away. In a way, the all black kimono made him look mature and brought out his inner beauty.
"My sister insisted I wear it. She picked it out and everything." He replied.
"Good job, little sister! Right, Mikey~?" Emma teased her brother, who was still gawking at Takemichi.
Mikey stuck his tongue out at her, making her roll her eyes at him, "Real mature."
"You really are a little boy, aren't you?" Hinata once again took another crack at his height.
Emma busted out laughing, while Draken smirked. Mikey looked ready to start something, but thankfully Takemichi stepped in, "Don't even think about starting a fight here."
"We would never." Hinata pulled the innocent act, but he wasn't falling for it.
Mikey practically dragged Takemichi by the arm as they walked around the many stalls that were set up. Draken and Emma were ahead of them, while Mikey, Takemichi, and Hinata walked behind the two. Takemichi took notice of the many food stands around here.
"I see more food stands than anything else." He comments.
"They want to make sure everyone is having fun, while making sure they eat enough to enjoy themselves." Hinata said.
"Its fine, isn't it? The more the merrier." Mikey was just happy being here with Takemichi, even though a certain pink haired girl decided to stay with them instead of being near Ken-chin and Emma.
Hinata sees Emma trying to drag Draken over towards a stall and giggled, "Ara, look at those two." Both boys look at the two.
"That right there! I wanna eat some!" Emma emphasized, while trying and failing to drag a confused Draken with her.
"Huh? You'll get fat. Don't." Draken said.
"What?! Why?!" Emma was persistent and kept trying to drag him over.
Hinata sighed, pressing a hand against her cheek, "He's really making her work for it. Poor Emma-chan."
"Draken's just as hopeless." Takemichi added, having both hands inside his kimono sleeves.
"That he is." She agreed.
Mikey blinked at them, "You two really think so? They seem normal to me."
Hinata gives him a look, "Either a pure soul, or a confused child…"
"He's both." Takemichi said.
"Huh? What does that mean, Takemichy?"
"Nothing."
At some point they lost track of Draken and Emma when it started raining. Takemichi brought out a black umbrella, knowing it was going to rain. Hinata and Mikey were pressed against either side of him.
"In the end it ended up raining. How disappointing." Hinata said.
"Good call on bringing an umbrella, Takemichy." Mikey wondered if Takemichy knew it was going to rain, or if he just had an incredible hunch that was on point.
Takemichi didn't say anything.
"Takemichy?" Mikey called out his name.
Takemichi closed his eyes, "…I haven't been to a festival like this in a long time…" Why was he feeling nostalgic all of a sudden? Because he was here at a festival, or was it something else?
Mikey saw his friend had a nostalgic look in his eyes and wondered what he was remembering. Hinata was quiet and looked somber for some reason.
RING! RING! RING!
Both Hinata and Mikey jolt at the sound of Takemichi's cell phone going off. Unbothered, he pulled out his cellphone and answered, "What's wrong, Yamagishi?"
Mikey was quiet as he watched Takemichi talk on the phone, "Yeah, we're at the festival. Draken and Emma went somewhere else, Mikey's here with me and Hina." Why was a member of Takemichi's gang asking about where they are?
"I see…got it," Takemichi's expression changed, "Call Inui and tell him it's time. Get ready to move out." He hung up.
"What's wrong?" Mikey asked.
Takemichi didn't hesitate to tell him, "Before that, Hina." He turned to her.
"Yes?"
He only had one thing to say.
"Time to go hunting."
On this day, Mikey will swear up and down that the girl's innocent expression morphed into a predator that was looking to tear someone up.
Ken-chin's right—
—she is "bat-shit" crazy.
She walks away from them, heading in a completely different direction.
Takemichi turns his attention back over to Mikey, "Yamagishi's captain of the Intelligence unit. He tells me someone decided to pick up some Moebius strays and ex-Touman members to start a new gang."
Mikey's eyes narrow, "What? Who?"
"He didn't get a name, but right now that doesn't matter. This new gang decided to go after a specific target." He said.
"Targets?"
Blue eyes lock on Mikey's, "They're after Draken."
A member of Moebius handed a knife over to Kiyomasa, "You ready for this?"
"Yeah," Kiyomasa grabbed the knife, unsheathing the blade, "I lost everything because of him . I'm going to kill that bastard."
"Good. Everyone else is ready to go. Let's move out."
"Right." Kiyomasa was ready to take his revenge and regain his former glory.
A member of Kiyomasa's gang looked around, "Where the hell is Red? Is he still taking a piss?"
"My, such vulgar words."
All of them tense and turn behind them at the gate entrance and see a shadow moving towards them, "Who the fuck are you?!" Kiyomasa demanded.
The person continues walking towards them, "Honestly, why is it that some thugs insist on using vulgar language?" Hinata reveals herself to them, but she wasn't alone. She was dragging something right along with her, but this something turned out to be a person—a person they all recognized.
"The fuck…is that…Red?" Someone questioned.
Hinata blinked, then smiled, "Oh, so that's his name. No matter how many times I asked, he never answered me." She drops him like he's nothing on the cold, hard ground, "While I was walking around, I happened to notice him alone. My sudden presence caught him off guard, but I tried to be polite and ask for his name." She then proceeded to stomp on his chest.
"You bitch!" Another gang member yelled.
She ignored him, "He wouldn't tell me his name and tried to attack me instead, but it didn't work." Hinata said, happily, kicking him away from her and closer to them, "What a pity, and here I thought that if he told me what you all were up to we could get along, and be friends."
"She's crazy…this bitch is crazy…"
Hinata's eyes then settle on Kiyomasa, "And you must be…Kiyomasa, I think? Takuya said you had a scar on your eyebrow. So that must be you!"
Kiyomasa looked down at the unconscious, but beat up Red, then back at Hinata. The girl was standing there, calmly with the most creepiest smile he'd ever seen, "Who the fuck are you…?"
She grinned, "Nice to meet you all…my name is Tachibana Hinata—Zero Division: Special Attack Unit 10th Captain of Black Dragon.." Her smile grew wider at their sudden pale faces, "…now then, shall we get started?"
Mitsuya was running like his life depended on it.
Word on the street is that the new Moebius gang is targeting Draken. Why he has no idea, but this doesn't feel like a coincidence. This was planned.
Thankfully both Draken and Mikey told the captains they were going to a festival, and just hoped he made it in time. As he ran past a temple, he stopped when he noticed someone was just standing there, but as looked closer…he saw they were surrounded by the unconscious bodies of what he assumed to be delinquents.
Hinata heard him behind her and smiled, "Oh, you must be Mitsuya-kun." Facing him fully, he saw she was holding a bloody Kiyomasa by his hair.
What the hell?
"Y-Yeah…are you okay?" He took some uneasy steps towards her,a little unsettled by the scene before him. To him and anyone else, it would look like they were all dead, but from what he sees that doesn't seem to be the case.
"Mm, I'm fine. Thank you for asking." She dropped Kiyomasa unceremoniously on the ground, "You came to help?"
His eyes widened for a moment before becoming serious, "So you know about Draken being a target."
"Yamagishi contacted Takemichi a little while ago and told him. Mikey and Takemichi are probably trying to track Draken and Emma-chan down." Hinata replied, "We should meet up with them…I want to see the face of the person who decided to lead this new Moebius gang."
"Right." Mitsuya has never been more glad that this new generation of Black Dragon was on their side.
'These guys are crazy, but we can count on them to have our backs.' He thinks, grinning a little.
"That was short." Takemichi comments at the downed Moebius members. Both he and Mikey got here just in time to prevent Draken from getting attacked. Draken must have sensed them coming, cause he had Emma standing over at a safe distance.
After that, the two quickly made work of the would-be ambushers. Mikey showed them no mercy, and Takemichi didn't mind lending a hand.
"Are you two okay?" Mikey asked them.
Emma nodded, happy to see them both, "You guys have some good timing."
"One of Takemichi's boy's called to let him know about the ambush." Mikey said.
Draken looked at Takemichi, "Looks like I owe you, Takemichy." Talk about good timing.
Takemichi wasn't relaxed though, "Don't relax just yet." All they did was stop the ambush, so they weren't done yet.
"Takemichi-kun is right," Hinata and Mitsuya join them, "I already took care of Kiyomasa and his friends, then met up with Mitsuya-kun."
"Hinata-chan, are you sure you're okay?" Emma asked, clearly worried.
"Mm, not a scratch on me." She replied.
Mitsuya let out an amused huff, "Can't say the same for Kiyomasa and his guys. She gave them one hell of an ass beating." And to think, someone of her size can be so…vicious. Surprising, really.
If not terrifying.
Draken believed him, "Told you she was crazy." But in this case, it was a good kind of crazy that was needed right now.
Mikey was starting to like Hinata…if only just a little bit.
Takemichi looked around him, "Oi,looks like we're not done yet." Just as he said that, their group found themselves surrounded by members of Moebius. All around them was a sea of white, a color Takemichi was really starting to hate.
Mitsuya frowned, "They've got us surrounded, huh?"
"Maybe, but then again…" Takemichi's eyes close in on the figure hiding in the shadows behind some of the trees, "…get out here already! You're supposed to be the new leader, right?"
Mikey, Mitsuya, Emma, and Draken look at him, then in the direction his eyes are focused on. Sure enough, a figure comes walking out from within the shadows, cigarette in hand.
They were a tall, lanky delinquent, has black hair with a yellow streak in the middle. It is shaved at the sides and long at the top. This person was wearing a long, golden earring. The kanjis 'Sin' and 'Punishment' are tattooed on his left and right hands, respectively. The attire they were wearing was an oversized white Henley shirt with buttons, cropped black skinny jeans and sandals.
A wide grin spread across his face, "Yo, Blue Dragon~" they greeted.
Takemichi knew exactly who he was.
"Shūji Hanma."
