The members of Black Dragon and Touman rode through the night. Mikey explained to Takemichi that tonight he was going to introduce a new member.
Introducing a new member to Touman means that Kisaki's decided to step out of the shadows. Every move he makes means something, that's why Takemichi was taking no chances.
Arriving at Touman's base of operations, the members of Black Dragon followed behind their leader as he walked next to Mikey. Once the two leaders made it to the top of the shrine, grunts bowed in respect.
"Good evening, sir's!"
Mikey and Takemichi both stood in front of the shrine. Their vice-captains stood next to them.
Draken stepped forward, "We will now officially appoint the new member of the 3rd Division of the Tokyo Manji Gang." He announced.
Inui also stepped forward, "As allies of Tokyo Manji Gang, Black Dragon will be witnesses to the appointment of their newest member." He added.
Mitsuya was standing with the other captains and looked around, making eye contact with Shizuki. The lilac haired teen smiled at him, and Shizuki responded in kind.
"I wonder who the new member is?"
"Who knows?"
"Whoever it is must be someone interesting."
Some members of Touman were conversing amongst themselves about who the newest member could be.
"3rd Division Member! Step up!" Mikey ordered.
Murmurs were heard amongst the members of Touman as they were waiting for the new member to show themselves.
"Who is it?" Someone whispered.
"Who knows?"
They got their answer when they heard someone speak, "Let's go." This person said.
"Yes, sir."
Walking to the front was the supposedly newest member of the 3rd Division. This person was of average height, with blue eyes, and dyed blonde hair. He also sports glasses and an earring on his left ear. His hair is cut in an undercut and he was wearing the standard Touman uniform.
"Move!" The person following behind him shoved a Touman member out of the way, rudely.
"That's the new 3rd Division member?"
"The big one or the small one?"
"I think both."
Inui's eyes were locked firmly on the short one as he descended the stairs. He watched as the shirt blonde turned around to face the members of Touman before sitting on the steps. Some members of Black Dragon and Touman found this to be incredibly disrespectful.
"What's his deal?"
"No respect." A member of Black Dragon frowned.
"He can't be serious!"
"He's sitting with his back to the commander!"
Takemichi just watched as more Touman members showed their displeasure at their newest recruit's behavior, "What's your problem?!"
"Who the hell do you think you are?!"
'What a farce.' That's how it looked to him, anyway.
"Hey, he's not gonna say anything to us?"
"The hell is that guy's problem?"
Standing in front of the small blonde was a taller delinquent, who addressed them, "Listen up! The person sitting behind me is the new member of the 3rd Division, Kisaki Tetta!" He announced.
The moment the name, "Kisaki Tetta'' was announced, Akkun had to clamp down each hand on Hinata and Shizuki's shoulders. This was done in order to calm them down a little and prevent them from leaking any bloodlust. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw two members of Touman had already turned their heads at them! Dammit! One of them was Mitsuya and…Sanzu he thinks the other's name is.
'Not good! Those two must have sharp as hell instincts!' Akkun could only pray Hinata and Shizuki would keep their shit together until the meeting was over.
All members of Black Dragon already know about Kisaki Tetta and vowed to never trust him. But now the snake is here joining Touman, so they know nothing good will come of this.
"I've seen him before!" Someone from Touman exclaimed.
"Isn't he from Moebius?"
"Kisaki from Moebius?!"
"Why's someone from Moebius here?!" A member demanded.
"Get the hell out, Moebius!"
"Yeah! Piss off!"
"Piss off! Piss off!" Touman chanted, "Piss off! Piss off! Piss off! Piss off!" They continued.
Takuya whistled, "Wow, talk about being thoroughly hated. Kisaki just joined and already he's the most hated guy in Touman." Seeing him receive this kind of reaction was hilarious.
"Yeah, but look at that smug bastard. All that hate isn't bothering him at all." Yamagishi was a little irritated by Kisaki's calm expression.
Koko was smirking, "Now isn't this interesting? With all this chaos going on we'll probably have to wait till next time to introduce you." He said to the figure standing next to him. They were wearing a hoodie, the shadow covering half their face. This individual is above-average height and fair complexion.
"…"
Draken decided all that chanting was enough and finally shut everyone up, "Shut up! If any of you've got a problem with Mikey's decision, step up!" He shouted.
That shut the haters down quickly and quietly. No one was brave enough to call Mikey out on his decision in allowing Kisaki to join their ranks.
Mikey stepped forward as Draken moved out of the way, "We're eventually going to butt heads with Valhalla. The new Valhalla is so huge that Moebius has nothin' on them!"
Inui and Takemichi shared a look. So this is it.
The inevitable clash between Touman and Valhalla.
"To defeat them, Touman needs to grow, too!" Mikey continued to say, "Kisaki Tetta here kept our generation in check through Moebius. We need Kisaki if we're gonna fight Valhalla!"
Ah, so that's why Mikey decided to allow him to join Touman. Bring in more guys who are loyal only to Kisaki on the pretense of increasing Touman's numbers.
Clever little snake.
"Kisaki Tetta will join the 3rd Division! Remember that!" Mikey said it in a way that made it final, and no one tried to tell him otherwise, "This ends the new 3rd Division recruit ceremony!" With those words, he walked away—signaling that their part of the announcement was over and that Black Dragoon could take over.
"Commander!" Kisaki stood up and bowed, "Thank you!"
Mikey stopped briefly, "Yeah." He said, casually, continuing to walk away.
There was still some tension after the announcement was over though, captains with both Touman and Black Dragon. Hell, even Draken is questioning why Mikey would allow Kisaki to join them. Normally he would never question his friend's decisions, but in this case he has no choice.
"What the hell is our commander thinking?" He mumbled, frowning.
Kisaki addressed the guy next to him, "Let's go." He said.
"Yes, sir!"
Kisaki turned around slowly and saw a hand come at him fast. Unable to dodge it, he had no choice but to let it hit him—only there was the lack of a stinging pain sensation. Staring right into the eyes of a calm Shizuki, he saw the other slowly move his hand away.
"I'm sorry for startling you so suddenly, but you had a mosquito on your shoulder." To emphasize Shizuki's point, he opened his fist to reveal an actual dead mosquito.
Mouth parted a little, Kisaki was about to say something, but Shizuki beat him to it, "You should be more mindful of your surroundings. It's still very warm outside and they like warm weather." He smiled, tossing the dead mosquito away and walking back with the other Black Dragon Captains.
"Oi, you little shit! You—" The tall guy next to Kisaki started to shout.
Hinata gave him one of her smiles, "My, my, why are you getting so upset when all Shizuki-kun did was kill a mosquito? Are you perhaps an insect lover?" She inquired.
"Hah?! Like hell—"
"—Then there isn't a problem." She stated, cutting him off once more.
As the taller male was about to come at her, he was stopped in place by Takemichi's stare. The black haired male was staring the taller male down like a predator waiting for his prey to make a mistake and get slaughtered for it.
Sensing the potential danger, he backed off. Kisaki looked Takemichi right in the eye—blue eyes stared down at silver ones.
"I'm sure your captain will tell you this already," Takemichi began to say, "Keep your fellow member in check, and give him a warning about trying to threaten two Black Dragon captains." He advised.
Kisaki kept a composed expression as the guy next to him openly expressed shock at the fact that Shizuki and Hinata were captains. Having nothing to say to that, Kisaki dipped his head, "…I'll keep that in mind." Was all he said.
Takemichi turns away. Inui was staring Kisaki down as he descended the stairs, along with his lackey. Kisaki joining Touman wasn't unexpected—in fact he was expecting it.
With the announcement of Kisaki joining over, it was now his turn to introduce a new member—
Trusting his reflexes, he tilts his head to the side just as a fist nearly made contact with the side of his head. Making eye contact with the person that almost assaulted his face. It was that one captain of Touman who Takemichi saw was acting distant at the time—even when his vice-commander tried getting his attention.
Baji Keisuke—First Division Captain of Tokyo Manji Gang.
The brief moment their eyes made contact he began to remember the images he saw.
A member of Touman leaves and joins Valhalla.
'So it was you.' Takemichi thinks.
Inui reacted immediately, as did Koko. Both boys dragged Takemichi behind them, and glared at Baji.
"What's the meaning of this, Baji Keisuke?!" Inui demanded an answer, otherwise he'll force one out of Baji.
"You trying to start something? Guess the alliance doesn't mean much to ya, huh?" Koko wasn't smirking—that alone tells a person just how pissed he is by the surprise attack.
Draken glared down at Baji, "Explain yourself, Baji!" He yelled.
Instead of answering, Baji grinned, "After all the shit Black Dragon put us through in the past, now they're our allies?" He said, sneering at the three Black Dragon members.
"Baji, you…" Draken started to say.
Baji didn't care to hear what else Draken had to say as he charged at Takemichi again, ignoring Inui and Koko.
"Baji, stop!" Mitsuya yelled at the black haired teen.
The cloaked figure that was standing next to Koko was now in between them, already in a stance.
Baji's eyes widened.
Fast as lightning, the hooded figure thrust their fist out—forcing Baji to bring both arms up in a cross position. He was sent flying backwards when the fist made contact. Everyone's eyes widened when Baji was nearly sent flying, falling to the ground and skidding for a bit before landing near the steps.
No one said a word as the mysterious person removed their hood. Turns out the person was a girl with young wavy brown hair and sharp green eyes.
Jaws dropped as all Touman members couldn't help but blush at her. She paid them no mind though as her focus was on Baji and no one else.
Baji slowly stood back up, but noticed his arms were stinging, his skin also felt like it was burning a little. What the hell was that? And who was this broad? That's what he was thinking.
"How dare you…try to hurt nii-chan…" All of a sudden the air around them became hostile and some felt themselves unable to breathe.
Takemichi knew what was happening, "Stop, Miyako!" He ordered.
Suddenly, the hostile air vanished. Miyako quickly calmed down, but didn't take her eyes off of Baji.
"Hai, Commander." Miyako said, bowing to Takemichi.
The captains and vice-captains let out collective sighs of relief. Last thing they needed right now was Miyako destroying this temple.
Takemichi decides to get things moving again, "The person standing before you is our newest member! Introduce yourself!" He said to her.
Miyako stands up straight, facing those of Touman, "Yes! Arima Miyako—Vice-Captain of the Elite Guard Squad!" She announced.
At the stunned silence, Hinata smiled, "Things are going to be even more interesting." She said.
Akkun was done with this and just wanted to go home.
With the lower members, captains, and vice-captains having gone home—the only ones left were Takemichi and Mikey.
The two were sitting on the steps in silence after everything that happened at the meeting. Mikey nearly lost it when Baji tried attacking him out of nowhere, but held it in.
After Miyako introduced herself, Mikey questioned why Baji was even at the meeting to begin with. He was no longer part of Touman, which Takemichi already figured.
Baji made a scene, tossed his jacket and announced he was joining Valhalla, and that was that.
"What a shit storm…" Takemichi said, sighing. He wasn't surprised when Mikey leaned his head against his shoulder, either. It was times like this he reminds himself that Mikey is still a kid—just like him.
"Sorry, I wasn't expecting Baji to do that." Mikey sounded tired, lost, and confused by Baji's actions. Takemichi could hear it in his voice. Draken mentioned it to him once in passing that Mikey, him, Mitsuya, Pah-chin, Baji, and another member (who he already knows) formed Touman in the beginning. They were the founders, but Mikey and Baji had known eachother since they were kids.
Baji's departure from Touman must've hit Mikey hard. His hurt and confusion about the whole situation has left him vulnerable.
"Don't apologize for something you didn't see coming. That blindsided everyone." Takemichi replied.
Mikey closed his eyes, relaxing a little,"Why did Baji leave Touman? I don't get it." Frustration, hurt, and confusion were the current emotions going through Mikey right now.
"He has his reasons. What's more surprising is you allowing Kisaki to join the gang." Takemichi knew the little snake would try to appease Mikey somehow.
Mikey tilts his head up a little, "Do you not like Kisaki?" He asked.
"I don't trust Kisaki," Takemichi made sure to emphasize it, "There are a lot of rumors about him, none of them are good. It's your choice to let him join Touman, but you should keep an eye on him." It would be the smart move to make.
"Mikey, I trust your judgement as a leader. If having Kisaki join is what you think is best for Touman, then I agree." Takemichi said his peace and left it at that.
Mikey was surprised by his words, but then smiled a little, "Thanks, Takemichi…" he breathed out, relaxing further into Takemichi's shoulder.
There was silence between them. After everything that happened tonight, both of them could use some sleep right now.
"Mikey…stay over at my place tonight." Takemichi said out of the blue.
As surprised as Mikey felt, he didn't say "no."
"Okay."
That night, at the Ryōgi residence.
The two boys slept in the same bed with their backs pressed up against each other. This was their way of seeking comfort, and the warmth they radiated.
Here in this room…they were safe.
Baji, now sporting a white Valhalla jacket, was walking in between two buildings. In the darkness of the alley where he was walking stood a lone figure. They were wearing the same jacket, standing there silently.
Standing before him was a handsome male of average height and lean frame. His hair is cut into a messy wolf cut, with yellow streaks throughout. He has a beauty mark under his sandy-colored eyes. His skin is covered in a tiger tattoo that extends from his neck to his shoulder and chest.
Baji grinned upon seeing him, "Yo, sorry to keep you waiting…
Sandy-colored eyes stare at him with a calm expression.
…Kazutora."
