The next day, Catherine returned to her school. She told her friends about transferring to a boarding school after the last term.

"Why? I thought we're going to attend the same secondary school, college, and university?" Olivia asked, saddened by the news.

"How am I going to explain this.. the boarding school is kind of important, besides you can still visit me at Christmas or in the summer."

"When will you come back?" Lottie asked.

"I think I'll return for University.."

"Aww.. where is that boarding school even located?" Margaret asked.

"In— Scotland."

"That's so far! Ugh it doesn't matter, I just know that we'll never attend the same University." Millie sulked.

"Wait, how?" The four other girls synchronised.

"Because— Margaret wants to be a Lawyer, so she'll stay in here and attend Cambridge University, same with Kate, because she wants to be an Architect. Lottie's parents wants her to inherit their company, so she'll surely attend a business school. Olivia wants to be a Doctor, so she'll attend a medical school. I want to be a musician, my mum suggests I go to the Royal College of Music in London because granny lives near there." Millie ranted.

"Even though Kate will stay, we will still part ways when we reach adulthood, we have different likes, different dreams that require different lifestyles. So we shouldn't worry about Kate transferring to a different school, as long as we keep in touch, we'll never forget each other." She added.

Millie's words touched the four girls, she's right, as long as they stay friends, nothing bad will happen.

"I promise, I'll write to all of you. The boarding school doesn't allow electronics, so a letter is my only way of communication." Catherine scratched the back of her neck.

"It's okay! We will write back to you." Olivia assured.

"How will we meet you during the Holidays?" Margaret asked.

"Just visit our house, you're always welcome there."

"What will happen if you found different friends and forget about us?" Lottie pouted.

"I can have different friends, right? But that doesn't mean I will forget about you all, I could introduce them so we'll have even more friends!"

"That's a great idea!" All of them synchronised.

Summer came and Catherine started her advanced learning to both normal and magical. A private tutor homeschooled her so her normal education wouldn't exactly blend with her magical one. The girl also practiced magic inside a blank room in their house, so there would be now way she'll accidentally destroy their things and other people like the staff wouldn't find out about her magic.

The night before August 10, Catherine was practicing the wand-lighting charm when someone knocked on the door.

"Lumos!" A white light appeared from the tip of her wand but it wasn't bright enough, so she tried again.

"Lum—" a knock on the door interrupted her. "Ugh."

She walked to the door and opened it.

"Kate, your father and I wanted to tell you that we want to go back to Gringotts."

"What— why?"

"You will stay in that boarding school for a year, you will only come back for Christmas and Summer, right?"

"Yes?"

"So we think, you might need more money for other things, like food and you know."

"You're right.. there's a town near our school like what Professor Flitwick told us, what was it called— right, Hogsmeade. They have shops there."

"Good, wake up early tomorrow."

"Okay, mummy."

Catherine slid her crystal wand into the wand holster, she then tidied up the magical text books and placed it all inside her school bag.

August 10th came, like her mother told her, Catherine woke up early.

"You're going to the bank run by goblins again?" The young woman kneeling in front of the wardrobe, asked.

"Yeah, mummy said we'll withdraw more money. Though this time, Professor Mcgonagall won't come." The girl replied.

The young woman finally found the clothes she was looking for, "Okay, I found this yellow sundress to pair with the leather jacket. These sandals—"

"Evelyn, when will you go back to London?" Catherine interrupted.

The woman sighed, "October, I don't really want to come back.. but I should be grateful that I got accepted in that school."

"Why don't you want to come back?" The girl asked while wearing her clothes.

"Because I feel so out of place, Guildhall School of Music & Drama is full of talented and cool people, and I'm not. There's this 18 year-old bloke from my school, new student but he's quite an actor."

"What's his name?"

"People call him Jude Law."

"JUDE LAW?! THE YOUNG DUMBLEDORE."

"Kate? Are you okay?"

"Er— yes. So Jude Law?"

"Yeah, but his full name is David Jude Heyworth Law."

"How did you know his full name?"

"Like I said, he's quite an actor and he became popular for it, so his full name is not a secret. But his father is the famous actor, Peter Law, that adds to his popularity."

"Right, but why are you like comparing yourself to a son of a literal actor? If he's quite an actor, then he obviously got it from his father. Besides, you're quite talented yourself. You have a perfect pitch, you're a good singer, and you're a great guitarist. Did you even remember how you got accepted in that school?"

"I— because of my acoustic cover of Take On Me."

"Is that really it?"

"Fine, my song covers of famous songs."

"Hm?"

"And some of my original songs."

"See? You ARE talented, so don't feel out of place in that music school, because you deserve to be in there."

"You're right.."

"And students from that school is talented in their very own way."

"Right, thank you for everything, Kate. I can't believe an 11 year old changed my view of myself."

"It's nothing, just doing what I think is best." She smiled.

"Well, let's move faster now, your mum is waiting. Hurry up, wear these sandals."

The girl finished wearing her outfit, she left her hair down but brought an elastic hair band. She also wore a large shoulder bag so her long wand would fit. In the bag, there's her wand, the elastic band, a game boy, her full drawing set, some black sunnies, the magical money pouch, and the book of Hogwarts: A History.

Her last outfit check on the mirror, she noticed the colours. "Hufflepuff!"

The family boarded their car with Catherine on the backseat like always, her father on the passenger seat, and her mother driving. Stephen was still half-asleep so Charlotte decided to let him relax and made herself drive.

"We'll stop at the service station first to refuel the petrol tank, because we're driving directly to London."

After going to the service station, Catherine had an idea.

"Mummy, I have a question."

"What is it, dear?" Her mother replied without looking away from the road.

"So this magic pouch containing the money is bigger in the inside, right?"

"Yes."

"Is it possible to make this pouch connect directly to the vault?"

"What?" Charlotte asked confusingly.

"Like this pouch I'm holding, make it connect directly to the vault. Like what I'm about to pick up from this pouch is directly from the vault, so we don't have to visit Gringotts every time we want to withdraw money. I just had the idea, I mean magic is real, it might exist."

"We should ask the goblins if they can do that with your pouch."

"Okay." Catherine pulled out her game boy and started playing.

An hour and a half later, they arrived in London and Stephen finally woke up.

"We're here now?" He asked.

"Yes, specifically in Leadenhall market." His wife replied.

"Oh."

Catherine's parents entered Leaky Cauldron with her help, they then called Tom the barman for help entering Diagon Alley.

While walking straight to Gringotts, Catherine recognises a few people.

In Gambol and Japes Wizarding Joke Shop, Catherine sees a pair of red haired boys and a black boy. "The Weasley twins and Lee Jordan." She smirked.

In Quality Quidditch Supplies, Catherine sees a whining blonde boy screaming. "Buy me that broom, father please!" She rolls her eyes, "Draco Malfoy." She's about to turn her gaze away from the shop when she sees another familiar person, "Cho Chang!" A Chinese girl was looking through the brooms in the shop, she'll be in her second year now, so she's allowed to have a broom. She didn't noticed the other girl following beside Cho, a girl with short curly strawberry blonde hair.

They arrived at Gringotts, the lane to the counter was longer than their last visit, Purebloods have probably decided to buy their school requirements now. While waiting in the lane, the young witch recognises more people, two blonde kids her age, a girl and a boy. "Hannah Abbott and Ernie Macmillan, those overly loyal badgers. Wait, why are they together? Oh right, they're best friends."

It's the Clifford family's turn, "Name?" The head goblin asked.

"Charlotte Clifford."

"Hm.."

Charlotte spoke again, "my daughter asked me if you can make her pouch connect directly to her vault? If that's possible."

"Hm.. it is possible, Drarm!" The head goblin called.

"Do you have her key?" He added.

Charlotte brings out a golden key from her hand bag, "here." She hands it out.

An unusually huge goblin steps inside the hall, "What is it, sir?"

"I need you to assist Ms. Clifford here to her vault to retrieve the vault pouch."

"Er— sir? Why does my daughter need to enter her vault?" Her father asked.

"Because the vault pouch can only be retrieved from the vault itself." The head goblin sneered.

"You can seat on the waiting benches there." He added.

The couple sat on the benches again, Catherine followed Drarm like she did with Griphook and off they go in the mini cart.

When the cart stopped, the large goblin who's a little shorter than Catherine started mumbling a language she didn't know, "probably Gobbledegook."

Drarm finished and unlocked the vault, like before it smoked green the moment it opened. Inside the vault was even more gold than her visit before, after the monthly deposit of 2000 pounds from her parents, it makes sense.

"There were 1000 galleons, but you withdrew 253 galleons, resulting in 747 galleons. After 5 months, the deposit resulted the vault into having 2,755 golden galleons and 15 bronze knuts." Drarm explained.

"Woah.."

"The vault pouch is just behind, you would want to return the money from your normal pouch into your vault."

"Oh, okay. I got 84 galleons, 13 sickles, and 57 knuts left.." she dumps the pile of coins from her pouch to the larger pile, "now my vault has 2,839 golden galleons, 13 silver sickles, and 72 bronze knuts."

The girl proceeds to pick up the vault pouch, she puts her hand in and the same hand magically appears above the coins, she gasped.

Catherine then exits the vault, she and Drarm came back and the goblin returns the key. Before returning to her parents, she wanted to try something. "What if I said the overused goblin greeting shit from fanfics.." She glances back to Drarm and says, "Mr. Drarm, may your gold always flow." The goblin didn't expect a muggleborn saying that. He replied, "and may your enemies flee in terror."

"What?! That was real? I wanted it to be a troll, aww.." She returns to her parents.

The family heads out the wizarding places, eats lunch in a restaurant in Leadenhall, and drives home with Stephen driving.
