There it is, seated in the armchair.
Beautiful.
Seductive.
And at the same time, sacred. Nobody can touch it.
So Cream The Rabbit is approaching, carefully.
When he's about to grope it...
"CREAM!"

Cream withdraws her arm and takes two steps back.
It's her mother who just entered the room.
It's impossible not to pay attention to Vanilla The Punk Rabbit, with her spiky pink hair, purple tank top and dark blue jeans.
A mother now more radical, playful, adventurous, but still zealous.
And jealous.
Nobody messes with her new lifemate.

"Hi, Mamy."
"May I know what you're up to with my... guitar?"
"Nothing, ma'am. I was just seeing her."
"Well, now you have something much better to do. Will see me."
"You're not my type, Vanilla."
"Funny. Will see me play guitar."
"Now?"
"Yes now. Sit down." Vanilla unceremoniously pushes Cream, making the bunny fall down onto the couch.
Meanwhile, Vanilla sits in the armchair, facing her daughter.
The punk rabbit accommodates the guitar in her lap.

"Are you ready?" She asks her daughter.
"Sure. You're the boss," Cream replies, looking offhandedly.
"Are you implying that I am a tyrant?"
"No, of course not. I love you." Cream smiles as she hugs her knee.
"Then let's go. 1, 2, 3 NOW!"

Vanilla plays at full lungs, to the torture of Cream, who doesn't consider her mother the best guitarist in the world.
But do what? Vanilla is taking guitar lessons. And it is by practicing that you learn. And if you have someone to evaluate performance, so much better.

In the end, Cream applauds despite everything.

"Brave! Very brave!"
"Won't you ask for an encore?" Vanilla question.
"Huh... And do you need it?"
"I'm doing fine, aren't I?"
"Well... To be honest..."
"Okay, 'false applause'. I get it. But do you think I can join Mina Mongoose's band one day?"
"Well... of course."
"You're right. Maybe I'd better start my own rock band."
"Wait. I did not say that."
"Wouldn't you like to have your band?"
"You mean...me playing with you?"
"And why not? I'm your best friend. We play together, bet together, sleep together..."
"Yes, but..."

"Come on, Cream. I know why you were wanting to get your hand on my guitar."
"You knows?"
"You want to learn too."
"Yeah... I think I do."
"I teach you."
"But you're still learning."
"And? We learn together. Come here and I'll teach you."

Half hesitant, Cream gets up from the couch, walks over to her mother, and climbs into her lap.
"Go, hold the guitar like this, carefully."
"It's kind of big for me," Cream tries to outwit.
"That's what I used to say as a kid, to try get out of piano lessons, you know?" Vanilla confesses. "I hated studying piano."
"But you are an excellent pianist, Vanilla."
"Thanks. And now let's go to the guitar."
"And what am I going to play?"
"It would be good for you to start by learning three chords. Just as Tim Maia taught Erasmo Carlos."
"Tim Maia?"
"Yes. Great singer. Come on?"

"OOOOHYEEEAAHH!"

"UHU!"
"BRAVE!"
"THAT'S GREAT!"

Amy Rose, Tails, Charmy and Marine applaud Cream.
"Thanks Thanks Thanks. On the rocks!" And the bunny makes horns with her hand.
"You play guitar really well, Cream," says Amy.
"Your mother has been teaching you very well for some time now," Tails reckons.
"This is so…inspiring," notes Charmy, halfway between polite and romantic.
"But wait until I start playing too," Marine challenges her. "You're going to fall off your chair, bunny."

"That's what we'll see," returns Cream, not intimidated. "My mother, on the other hand, already plays a lot better than me."
"Well now I have good news, brat." Vanilla appears with a tray of tea.
"Which?"
"I heard about a rock band contest. For children and adults."
"Really? How awesome! And are you going to sign up?"
"Sure. But I need to find another guitarist to duet with me."
"Already found her!" Cream raises her arms in triumph.
"I'm serious." And she takes a sip of tea.
All of Cream's friends laugh.

"Well, without me, you can't play anywhere, hairy!" Cream decrees.
"That's what I could say too." Vanilla takes another sip. "But of course I need other members in the band."
"ME!" All friends raise their arms.
"It looks like instead of a foursome, we're going to have a rock sextet," Cream concludes.
"Everyone is welcome," guarantees Vanilla.

THE END!
