Eri Valentine
It was a usual day in the dorms of U.A., all the first years hung out and did what they usually did. All the girls were talking with each other in the common room, while some of the guys were grabbing snacks from the kitchen.
"Hey, Ashido!" The girls turned around to see Kaminari walking towards them. "Do you want to be my Valentine?" he asked suddenly
Everyone in the room was surprised to hear that and had mixed reactions, Yaoyorozu blushed as she covered her mouth, Jirou spat out her drink and Mineta looked at him with jealousy and hate. "Nope!" Ashido said, without hesitation.
"Aw, come on! Valentine's day is tomorrow, and I need a Valentine." Kaminari explained.
"Oh yea, I forgot that it's tomorrow." Kirishima realized.
"YES! Valentine's day is the day where girls will confess to their true love!" Mineta said as he fantasized all the girls in U.A. giving him chocolate.
They all wanted to ignore him, but his statement did have a bit of truth to it. 'I don't have a Valentine either/ I wonder if someone will confess to me.' everyone thought.
"Okay then, Hagakure, do you want to be my Valentine?" Kaminari asked. "No." she said plainly
"Tsu, what about you?" Once again, he was rejected quickly. "Sorry, but no."
"Uraraka-"
"You should really reevaluate your life choices, if you were seriously going to ask her of all people." Jirou interrupted him. "Well, it was worth a shot." Kaminari said, slightly embarrassed.
Although, not as much as Uraraka. "Huh?! What is that supposed to mean?!" she asked with her face completely red.
"Well, if you ladies don't have anyone-" Mineta started to ask but was immediately shot down.
"I'd rather die." all the girls said simultaneously
Meanwhile, Aizawa was escorting a little girl from the teacher lounge to the third year's dorm. The little girl, Eri, clung onto Aizawa's scarf with her tiny hand. As soon as they left the main building, Eri noticed that a few students when they passed were doing something weird.
"S-senpai, will you be my V-valentine?"
"Please go on a date with me!"
"Do you want to go spend Valentine's Day with me?"
Eri looked curiously at everyone as they gave each other a heart shaped box or pink envelopes.
"Hey, Eri! Are you ready to have fun?" A blue haired girl said, excitedly. She was also joined by one of Eri's saviors and a boy with pointy ears. Eri looked down embarrassedly but nodded.
"Don't worry Aizawa-sensei, we'll take good care of her!" Mirio said. "I'll be back to pick her up in a few hours." He said before leaving. "B-bye, Aizawa-sensei." Eri said quietly, but just loud enough to hear. "See Ya, kid."
"Hey Eri, do you want to go draw?" Hado asked. Eri nodded again, but less timid than before.
Eri continued to color with Mirio watching over her. Hado and Akamiji left to deal with something. Of course, Mirio didn't mind, he loved spending time with Eri. She no doubt shared that same sentiment for him. But he did notice that something had been on her mind for quite some time.
"Eri, are you okay?" He asked, slightly concerned.
"Oh yes, it's just…" she was hesitant to ask. "Whatever's on your mind, I'll answer it for you. That's what big brother's do!" Mirio said, which made Eri giggle.
"Well, do you know what Valentine's Day is?" Mirio was a little taken aback but gladly answered her question. "It's a special day where people tell a person how much they mean to you. It's done by giving that person chocolate or a special card."
Eri tilted her head in confusion. "Chocolate? Like, trick or treat?" Eri said as she imagined jack o'lanterns.
Mirio chuckled as put his hand on her head. "Not exactly. Instead of asking people for it, you'd be giving them or getting them from someone special."
"Someone special?" Eri asked, still confused.
"That's right! Whoever that special person is, you either write them a letter or tell them how much they mean to you! You can also give them chocolate."
Eri's eyes lit up, believing she understood. "So, I can tell all the people like how much I like them?"
"Well…yes, but" Mirio was unsure if he should try to explain that it's a day that's mostly celebrated by couples. But then he looked at how happy Eri was while she continued to draw. 'Well, she looks happy.' he thought as he smiled at Eri's joy.
'Someone special to me.'
"So, still no luck, huh?" Sero asked.
"No. I even asked all the girls in class 1-B and they all said no." Kaminari said disappointedly. "One of them even asked me, 'Wait, who are you?'"
"Ouch. looks like you'll also be spending Valentine's Day alone." Sero said. "Wait, what happened to your face?" he asked when he noticed his cheek was red. "Did someone in class B give you that?"
"No, I asked Jirou twice." Kaminrari rubbed his cheek when he remembered getting slapped after he begged her to spend Valentine's Day with him.
"Well, you don't have to spend it alone, Kirishima, Sato, and I are gonna watch a couple of bad romance movies tomorrow. You wanna join?"
"Yeah, I guess. I just didn't think everyone would reject me." Kaminari perked up when he realized something, "Hey, you wanna spend V-"
Slap!
"No."
While they were going to class, a white-haired girl walked past them with a blue haired girl holding her hand. "Did you have fun, Eri? Oh, can I see your drawing? What did you draw?" Hado asked.
Overwhelmed by all her questions, Eri only answered her first question, "yes, I had a lot with Lemillion."
"Oh look, it's Aizawa-sensei." Hado said excitedly. "Hi, Aizawa-sensei! Look what Eri drew. Did you just wake up? You look tired."
'*sigh* it's way too early for this.'
"Thanks for watching her. Come on, kid." Aizawa said. Eri let go of Hado's hand and walked over to the tired man. "Goodbye, Nejire." Eri waved goodbye.
"Aizawa-sensei?" Eri asked when Hado left.
"Yeah, kid?"
"Can I have paper and pencils?" Eri asked.
"You still want to color?" Aizawa asked, curiously.
Eri shook her head, "No, I want to write a letter to someone special to me." Eri said.
Aizawa looked curiously at her but didn't think too much of it, "All right, kid. I'll give you the ones in the teacher's lounge."
After their short walk, Aizawa gave Eri the paper and colored pencils that she needed, which she excitedly started writing as soon as she got them.
"Aww she's so adorable. Is she writing for someone special?" Midnight gushed over how adorable Eri was being.
"Who knows. Just don't start acting like you while she's here." Aizawa warned the woman.
"Me? What can I do around her?" Midnight asked innocently.
Aizawa let out a loud and long sigh, "it's way too early for this." He groaned in annoyance.
While Aizawa tried to sleep with Midnight annoying him, Eri continued to write the letter for her most important person…or actually people to her. She had three people that she wanted to write letters to.
She started writing her letter to Aizawa. He was the teacher that took care of her the most and she sometimes spent the whole day with him. He was easily one of her most important people.
She wrote her letter with ease. It was much easier for her to express her feelings through writing than speaking.
She just couldn't wait to give her letter to everyone.
All of a sudden, a girl with blue hair and a gray shirt and black skirt came in, "Ha! I made a cameo so now I exist in this universe!"
"Hey, me too!" A boy with a U.A. uniform said.
The next day:
"So, Shota, you and Eri have been getting along quite well, right?" Midnight asked, which caught the attention of both Present Mic and the person in question.
"Just what are you on about this time?" Aizawa asked, very tiredly. 'I am not ready to deal with her right now.'
"Oh, you know, you and that little girl have been spending a lot of time together. Is there anything you have to say?" Midnight said.
"You're being weird, even for you."
"Oh, you see it too, right Yamada? The fact that Shota, the serious and tough hero and teacher of U.A., is really soft towards a little girl that he helped save." Midnight teased.
"She's got a point, Sho. you've gotten a little soft ever since you helped save that girl." Present mic said.
"What are you two talking about? You're acting like I adopted the kid." Aizawa said while still trying to sleep.
Midnight gasped before squealing with excitement, "he said it! Let's face it, Shota Aizawa. She's your daughter now! Admit it!"
"No, she's not." Aizawa shut down the idea immediately.
"I don't know, Sho, she's got a point. You've gotten softer with her than with your students."
"I don't care about these brats." Aizawa said uninterested.
"Come on, Sho, we already know that you care about your students." Present mic teased.
"Ugh why do I keep running into these kinds of people in my life?"
"Umm…Aizawa-sensei?" A quiet and soft voice suddenly made itself known. All three teachers looked to see the same girl, accompanied by one of her saviors.
"Oh, speak of the cute devil." Midnight said excitedly. "Oh, is that a gift for your da-" Before she finished her sentence, she was hit over the head by a stack of papers.
"Sorry, but I need you to go through these permission slips."
"Ow…okay, thanks, Cementoss." Midnight said while rubbing her head.
"What is it, kid?" Aizawa asked Eri. Eri could only look away nervously while she held her letter close to her. "You have a gift for him, right, Eri?" Mirio asked.
Eri nodded nervously as she bowed while holding her letter, waiting for Aizawa to take it. After getting out of his sleeping bag, he accepted the letter. "Thanks, kid. What's the occasion?"
"Lemillion told me that you're supposed to give letters and chocolate to the people special to you. So, I have them for you." Aizawa accepted the gifts. 'I don't know why, but I'm so nervous.' Eri thought.
She watched with anticipation as Aizawa opened the letter.
"Dear Aizawa, thank you so much for taking care of me. I'm really-"
"What are you doing?" Aizawa asked Present mic.
"I'm narrating, it's kinda my thing." He, Midnight and Mirio were looking over his shoulder to read the letter as well. "Since when?"
"Since the beginning of the show, now let me keep reading." Present mic said. "Okay but why though?"
"Dear Aizawa-sensei, thank you so much for taking care of me. I'm really happy every time you watch me. I always have fun and I always feel safe when you watch over me. Whenever Deku and Lemillion can't look after me, I'm always sad but then I get happy when I see you…"
"Oh, that's so adorable!" Midnight started to gush of the letter.
"Oh man…that's so cute." Both Present mic and Mirio hearts squeezed from the cuteness of the letter. "Ah Lemillion! Present mic-sensei! Why do your faces look like that?!"
"Nothing…it's just that you're bright that I can't look straight at you…" Mirio explained
Aizawa continued to read the letter himself. "...thank you so much for being so kind to me. You're the best babysitter I could ever ask for."
"Oh, that's gotta hurt."
"Oh Shota, I feel so sorry for you."
"Oh Eri…"
All three expressed their sorrow as Eri called Aizawa a 'babysitter'. They were almost convinced that she saw him as a father figure.
While they were crying, Aizawa simply looked at the letter, quietly. Eri was also quiet and nervous about his reaction.
Eri was surprised when she felt a hand on her head, "Thanks, kid. I really appreciate it." Aizawa said with a small smile.
Eri felt really happy to see that he liked the letter. She couldn't help but smile, "I'm happy you like it!" She hugged Aizawa with all her strength.
While this was happening, the other three were freaking out by what they saw, "di-did he just smile? I didn't think it was possible."
"Mirio, you should take her back to the dorms. Midoriya told me that he can watch Eri from now on. You don't want to keep him waiting, don't you?" Aizawa said.
"Oh…yes. Come on Eri." Mirio grabbed Eri's hand and left the room. As soon as they left, the room was really quiet.
"..."
"Just go ahead and get it over with already." Aizawa said, knowing the kind of noise they were about to make.
Both Mirio and Eri flinched when they heard loud noises come from the room they just left. "Lemillion, are they okay?" Eri asked, concerned.
"Oh, it's okay Eri, they're just excited." Eri believed him so she only continued to hold his hand. "Oh Lemillion, I wrote a letter for you too." she said as she handed him a letter.
Spirited away- The name life
"Really? Please, let me read it!" Eri gave one of her savoir his letter, less nervous after seeing Aizawa's reaction. Mirio was excited to read his.
"Dear Lemillion, thank you so much for saving me. I was sad when you first told me what a smile because I felt like I made you upset that I couldn't smile. But when I finally did, you were there too, it was the happiest I have ever felt. Not only because I liked the show, but also because I saw you smile too. It made me so happy! Thank you so much for always taking care of me. I really love you, big brother."
"Lemillion…are you okay?" Eri asked worriedly, after seeing that one of her saviors was crying. "No…it's okay." Mirio said as he wiped the tears off his eyes. " Come on, let's go meet Deku!" Mirio held out his hand.
Eri smiled again as she took his hand. "I'm sure he'll be happy to read his."
"Huh? How did you know that I have one for him too?" Eri asked, confused. Mirio only chuckled, "just a guess."
"Wow, that was…not a good movie." Kirishima spoke first.
"Oh, thank god it's over." Sero groaned.
Shoji was asleep during the second half of the movie.
Kaminari looked at them confused, "I thought it was good."
"At least you liked it, for some reason." Kirishima said.
"Well, it wasn't that bad-"
"Holy-/ What the-?!"
Most of the boys got up, startled by the sudden voice of Mineta, " Are you guys, okay?" Mineta asked.
"When did you get here?" Sero asked
"What do you mean? I've been here the whole time." all, except Kaminari, stared at him with a blank expression. "I was the one who brought the grape sodas." They still didn't remember, "Kaminari asked you guys if I could join."
"I think I remember it. So, you've been here the whole time?" Kirishima said.
"Yeah, he was."
"Wow, amazing." Sero said. "Wait, you're the one who brought these terrible sodas?"
"Hey guys, whatcha watching?" Ashido suddenly appeared with the rest of the girls.
"Were you guys seriously just watching Twilight?" Jirou asked. Both Hagakure and Yaoyorozu got excited. "Really? I love that movie!" They both exclaimed.
Their attention was caught when they heard the door open and saw All Might walk in with two full bags. "All Might, is there something you need?" Yaoyorozu asked.
"Just wanted to check up on all of you and say Happy Valentine's Day." he then put the bags on a table, "I even have somethings for your class."
"Oh sweet! Is it chocolate-" Mineta said before he opened the gift, only to see a Valentine's Day themed burger?
"Heart shaped burgers?" Jirou questioned.
"Sorry, the stores were out of chocolates. It's apparently a bad idea to shop on Valentine's Day." All Might rubbed the back of his neck.
"Burgers are still burgers!" Kaminari said before taking a large bite from his.
Hearing the door open again, they were not too surprised to see their upper classmate with Eri. "I'll go grab Deku for you. He's in his room studying with Ilda and Todoroki."
After a few minutes, Izuku came running, excited to see Eri again. "Eri, I didn't expect you to come so late. I'm glad you were able to come." Izuku said as he got down to Eri's level.
Eri immediately hugged him, "I'm so happy to see you!"
"Eri, don't you have something for Midoriya?" Eri nodded. Izuku looked confused. Eri held a letter out for him, as well as a piece of chocolate. "Happy Valentine's Day, Deku!"
Izuku blushed at the sudden gesture, while his classmates looked at the cute scene. "Aww! That's so cute!" they exclaimed. All while Shoji was still asleep.
"Eri…I-I don't know what to say. Thank you." Izuku said as he nervously accepted the gifts.
Eri was admittedly nervous when he began to read the letter, but wasn't nervous when she remembered the time when she was writing the letter
…
Writing is getting really hard now. She didn't know why. It wasn't hard when she was writing the other letters. It felt natural, like when she was writing, she was writing her real feelings.
But now, it was getting hard to get started with Deku's letter. 'Maybe if I think about him more.' she thought.
The more she thought about him, the more she realized that it has been a while since she last saw him. When was the last time she spent time with him? 'It was two weeks ago…'
…
Both Eri and Izuku were walking out of the dorms, waiting for Aizawa-sensei to pick Eri up. Izuku noticed that Eri was quiet and seemed like something was on her mind, judging from how tightly she held his hand.
"Eri, do you have something on your mind?" Izuku asked. Eri looked at her and innocently asked, "Deku, what's a dad?"
He was surprised to hear that but then realized that it made sense for her to be curious. After all, she must've not had a parent figure that she remembers. "Well, a dad…is someone who takes care of you."
Eri looked at him with amazement as he was explaining, "It's someone who looks after you. Someone who teaches you a lot of things…and makes sure you're safe." Izuku looked to the side as he started to remember his own father.
"They're always there for you and try to be the kind of person you look up to. They sometimes scold you but only because you do something you're not supposed to do. They always make sure that you stay on the right path." Eri continued to look at him, suddenly feeling her heart flutter.
"...and no matter what, they always try to make time for you…even if it's hard sometimes." It looked like he finished but looked like he still had more to say.
"Deku?" Eri spoke
"Oh sorry. I got sidetracked, but that's basically what a dad is." Izuku said happily.
"Oh okay! I get it now! Thank you, Deku!" she said happily
…
After that memory, she smiled at their last interaction. All of sudden she began to write, with all the inspiration she needed. She smiled at every word she wrote down. 'I can't wait for them to read it.'
…
Deku began to read the letter in his head.
"Dear Deku, I want to thank you so much for always taking care. I'm always happy when I'm with you. Ever Since I met you, I always feel safe when I'm in your arms. You're so kind to me, cook good food for me and even make me smile. I have fun when you take care of me and teach me new things. You have been one of the most important people I know. I know you can't always take care of me, that makes me sad, but I still love to be with big brother and Aizawa-sensei. Happy Valentine's Day, Papa."
"Oh Eri!" Izuku shouted after he burst into tears. The sudden outburst made Yaoyorozu create a large umbrella for her and her classmates.
"Midoriya! Are you alright?" Kirishima asked.
"Not the food!" Kaminari yelled as tried to protect the food from the waterfall of tears.
"Deku, are you okay?!"
Instead of answering their questions, Izuku went over to hug Eri, "Thank you so much! I love it so much!"
"Really? I'm so happy!" Eri said as she hugged him back. "I swear, I'm gonna treasure this forever!"
All Might picked up the letter and read it. "What does it say?" Uraraka asked. She, along with the rest of her classmates, were surprised when they saw All Might begin to slightly tear up.
"Oh, it's nothing. Just a hero being recognized for their hard work." All Might said proudly about his successor.
"Oh, so what are we?" Kaminari asked.
Meanwhile, Mirio looked happily as the two hugged each other while Midoriya was crying. "I'm happy that everyone liked my letters! I really love you, Papa. Happy Valentine's Day!"

"What the Hell?!" someone yelled
"Where are we?" others asked, confused.
"This is quite the odd predicament."
"Principle, do you know where we are?" A teacher asked.
"Mom, Dad, why are you here?"
After the brief confusion, everyone realized that most of class 1-A, the big 3, Shinso, Hatsume, Aizawa, All Might, principal Nezu, and several parents were suddenly transported into a large, plain looking room with a large couch and table.
"Do you think this is the work of a villain, Aizawa?" All Might whispered.
"I don't know. We should mainly focus on keeping the students and civilians safe and calm." All Might agreed.
"Tch if it's a villain, then I'll just kill them myself" Bakugo said.
"You don't need to be so tense. You're all acting like I'm here to harm you." A sudden voice was heard. Everyone had their guard up while Aizawa and All Might went to protect the civilians.
A beam of light shined in front of them and slowly dimmed to reveal a woman with a blue outfit white with a green ribbon, blue hair and a blue and yellow hair tie. Some looked at her with their guard up, Mineta only gawked at her small skirt, "Wow! So hot!"
Bakugo was the first to react by trying to attack, "DIE-ACK!" He was fortunately stopped by the scarf of his teacher. "Don't even think about it! Get back, keep your guard up and don't rush in!"
He reluctantly agreed but was furious when he saw the woman with a smug look. "I know you're wondering what you're doing here. Well, let me answer your question, with a question…"
Everyone stared at her, waiting for an explanation. "Well, haven't any of you done something and thought 'that was nothing, I should have ignored it'? Like it didn't matter? Well, time is more than a linear path. It's a prism of endless possibilities, where a single choice can change reality as you know it."
Everyone looked at her, confused by what she was talking about. She walked past the table, lifted up her hand and a large hologram appeared from her hand, showing glass shattering with many of them being shown in the shattered pieces.
"I'll be your guide. And ponder the question, what if?"
…
Thanks so much for reading, I hope you liked it. And Happy Valentine's Day!
