Hey Everyone,
This is my first story ever on here, so I hope you enjoy it. The story starts with Ninja Storm and is a Cam Watanabe story. It's set in 2003 - so that dino thunder happens during 2004 - and I will be naming actual places in parts of the story where it's relevant. Also, my OC does figure skating, but I'm not a figure skater myself, so I apologise in advance if I get anything wrong; please correct me if I do.

Anaya's POV:
Anaya sat at a small table at the smoothie bar inside the Angel Grove Youth Center, waiting for her friends, Di - short for Delilah - and Silena, so that she could say bye to them before she left on her trip. She was going to compete at the Figure Skating World Championships in two weeks, held in Washington that year. As one of the very few skaters to qualify for worlds, she had been training very often to make sure that she was prepared. She was training almost every day now. Sometimes it was off the ice, with strengthening, conditioning, podium training, yoga and other adjunctive training, and other times, she was on the ice, running through both her short and long programs, or doing basic warms up and drills to keep her skills sharp. However, it left her with very little time to herself, especially with her other extracurricular activity.
You see, Anaya was a graduate of the Blizzard Ninja Academy, where she was asked to teach other Blizzard Ninja students how to use and control the different powers of winter. Not that her family or anyone else knew this of course, all they knew was that she took marital arts classes, and that she'd been asked to teach from time to time. She wished that she could tell them, but not only was it too dangerous, but it was forbidden; that is, if she told anyone, she would be asked to leave. She thought of how proud Sensei Iria had been when she graduated, having been the Blizzard Ninja in 20 or so years to come to the school.
The ways of the Blizzard Ninja were almost legend, as it was very rare for Ninjas to have the ability to manipulate the powers of winter. In addition to that, the school was extremely well hidden, and could only be reached by hiking through the woods, to a small cavern of rocks where hidden inside was a snow covered wall. The ninja would then have to say the password, walk through the wall where they would finally reach the academy. It was a paradise. Covered in snow and filled with the sounds of Ninja students training and practicing their powers. She loved it there.
—"Anaya!" The sound of her name being yelled cut Anaya from her musing. She looked up, and saw that her friends had finally arrived.
"Di! Silena!" she cried as she gave them a hug in greeting.
"We've been calling your name for the past five minutes. What were you thinking about?" Silena told me.
