Prologue
A Brief Respite And A New Mission

Following the mission to keep the Goddess' Dormitory safe and protected from Sephiroth and his children, Sora and his friends were now spending their time performing odd jobs at Canterlot, Twilight Town, Traverse Town, and Radiant Garden. In those few days, after he left, Sora was now back to his normal cheerful self, having finally found closure with Nehelenia and Galaxia, but he had no idea why the third voice referred to him by the word, Son. He brushed it aside, due to the fact that his grudge against his father, who left him and his mother after his birth. He yawned and soon lay down upon the sand, just as VesVes' smiling face appeared over his own.

"WHOA!" he cried out, and turned to face her.

The beast taming amazoness gave a light giggle.

"Gimme a break, VesVes," Sora said to her.

"Oh, Sora, you really are such a sleepyhead. I should've figured someone like you would be snoozing on the beach, outside of Canterlot," smirked VesVes.

She sat down beside him and rested her head against his chest. Normally this would make Minako annoyed at her, and even judge her as a fierce love rival, much like how Fish's Eye tried to snatch Mamoru right from under Usagi's nose, before his dreamless soul along with Tiger's Eye and Hawk's Eye's was absorbed by Prince Vassago, who ultimately faded away following Nehelenia's death. Sora ultimately gave in, and wrapped his arm around VesVes, as she cuddled him. The warmth of her skin on his hand, which was resting on her waist, did make her feel a bit surprised.

"Ah, you're like a cute lion cub, you know that?" she cooed.

This made Sora chuckle a bit, until he saw VesVes inching her lips towards his own, when suddenly…

"NOW KISS!" called a voice from behind them.

"What the heck!?" gasped the amazoness, who jumped back.

Sora turned and saw that it was Usagi Tsukino.

"Hey Usagi, what are you doing here?" he asked in a bit of a bewildered tone.

All Usagi could do was just laugh her head off at what happened.

"Oh man, I cannot believe how I always wanted to do that," she guffawed loudly.

Even Pinkie Pie had to laugh her head off as well.

"Geez, when I find Rei, I'm gonna have to ask her to turn into Sailor Mars so that she can roast your hide with 100 Flame Snipers," he muttered under his breath.

"Come on, Sora. You don't need to get that angry at Usagi," assured Twilight.

"Yeah, you beat Sephiroth for the third time, and found closure with both the Legendary Sailor Guardian, and Usagi's Aunt," agreed Kairi.

"They're right, Sora. Besides, You, me, and Blake may have held a grudge on Adam, after he hurt us back at Beacon Academy. But in the end, after we beat him, he asked you to take better care of her, and you chose to honor his word before he accepted his defeat. That proved to Blake that there was still a tiny spark of good in his heart," chimed Yang.

"I agree with Yang. And to tell you the truth, you were right all along. It was fear that made me think that all Faunus who were in or used to be part of the White Fang as pure evil, like Empress Salem. I acted irrationally like my own father did, and said a lot of horrible things that made Blake sever all contact with us, but I swore that I would be better than this. Even after defeating that monster, and all of her minions, we celebrated our victory with grief and mourning, but we still refused to give up, even after the Four Maidens lent you their power, thus making you be known as the Lord of Four Seasons," explained Weiss.

"That's right. Even though Raven and Winter were the spring and fall Maidens, Cinder, after losing her Maiden Power, fled Remnant and joined forces with Sephiroth, after we beat Salem. But now those two have Aiden, who still feels a bit of the Fall Maiden's power flowing through him," replied Sora.

They chatted amongst themselves for a while, until they returned to Canterlot where they found the rest of their friends, training with each other, as well as making sure that they remained vigilant, for any signs of darkness. Luckily for Sora, Kyrie Canaan arrived with a bit of exciting news to share with his friends.

"Get this, you guys. According to a couple of sources I listened in on, I just found out that there's another world that has ninjas upon it, and it could actually be something interesting for Sora to explore," she said to the others.

"Gawrsh Kyrie, did you have to con those people?" questioned Goofy.

"No, of course not, Goofy. But, I can assure you that Asuna did give Yohko a good massage, while Kirito, Yui, and Leafa were patrolling the outskirts of town for any Heartless that were on the prowl," countered the informant.

"You bet, and I can tell you that Mirelle's been happy about her granddaughter keeping an eye out for any dangerous individuals, thanks to her posting as the Guardian Angel of Radiant Garden," said Barret.

"Yes, she's been working hard, maintaining her own form of helping those who are in need," agreed Reeve.

Kyrie gave a light giggle which Sora did find to be cute, even though he knew that she and Yuffie Kisaragi were different people. Sometimes they'd play Fort Condor, as well as Remnant: The Game, and of course, thanks to Cody and Yugi's teachings, Duel Monsters. It was a bit of a long stretch, but sometimes, there were moments where Kyrie would flirt with Sora, while her grandmother wasn't around, but sometimes she'd be in deep trouble and have to face some serious consequences. Oftentimes, Mirelle would see that Sora's heart was truly in the right place out of her respect for him. After a while, Sora decided to do a few odd jobs in Canterlot to earn him some money, thanks to his connections, and eventually gained the trust of the children in the Leaf House, who were inspired by his actions to maintain order and stability in the Realm of Light. Even the Cutie Mark Crusaders took note of his work, inspiring them to forge wooden replicas of his Keyblade. It was a bit of a surprise to Applejack, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash, but they knew that Sora was like a hero to them, and even Shingo formed a close bond with them whenever he visited that world, after Usagi explained how she was actually Sailor Moon, which did shock him to the core, but slowly began to accept that they were indeed one and the same with some assurance from both Sora and Ruby Rose. It did help a bit, even as Yang rested her hand on the young man's shoulder. Luckily though, Goofy did warn him not to get on her bad side, thanks to his first encounter with Tifa Lockhart, before they entered the Computer world of Space Paranoids, where they fought the wicked Sark and the Master Control Program with Tron as their ally. Shortly afterwards, Sora had an important meeting with Master Yen Sid, who had alerted him of his next big mission as Keyblade Master, and soon boarded the Ark, a ship that MInako once piloted a long time ago, but had since been modified and refitted with modern technology, making it be known as the fastest ship in the Realm of Light. The vessel was now under the control of Team KRYYSTAAL, who agreed to take their friend to the Mysterious Tower, where Master Yen Sid was waiting. It did take them a while to get there, but to Sora's surprise, the Specter Sisters had agreed to be part of the ship's crew, which did make him feel a bit happy that he was here.

"Hey Sora," greeted Calaveras.

"Koan. Berthier. Calaveras. Petz. It's great to see you again," Sora said to them.

"We can say the same to you, Sora," agreed Koan.

"Kenton asked us to be a part of his crew, and we've agreed to help out as best as we can, thanks to our previous experience on Rubeus' ship. Still, even though we still like making new and different cosmetics, I just hope you're okay with us giving them to the many girls who are part of your family," explained Berthier.

"I'm sure he'd respectfully appreciate it," assured Kiba.

"You know he would, Kiba. Still, after what happened in the world where the Goddess' Dormitory was located, I can tell you that Sora's back to being his happy-go-lucky self again, after beating Sephiroth for the third time, all because he tried to utilize the illness Koshi had to his advantage, so that he would die from it," said Akeno.

"I didn't want it to happen to him, because it would make Atena and the others feel empty if he died. And to tell you the truth, both Nehelenia and Galaxia have assured me that everything's gonna be okay. I now know… that I'll never be truly alone… As long as the people I cherish live on in my heart," replied Sora, as he felt the thunder priestess' arms around him.

As the journey to Master Yen Sid's tower continued, Berthier and Kiba were now playing a game of chess once again, while the Ark whooshed through hyperspace.

"Think carefully, Berthier. Do you want to put your bishop at risk? Do you really want to put your bishop at risk?" he said to her.

"Whatever it takes, but sometimes it's worth the risk," replied Berthier.

"Okay then, since you made that move, I guess I'll have my knight take your bishop. Sometimes Rias would take losing a rating game way more seriously than you'd think," explained Rias' knight.

It did make Berthier a bit upset, but she knew from her previous experience that she learned to be better than what she was, as she took a slow deep breath and quietly released it.

"Good, Berthier. Good.. You're learning to keep your cool. Trust me, every one of us taught Rias a valuable lesson about always planning ahead, so that we can outfox our rivals. It's the one lesson we taught ourselves," explained Kiba, just as Kenton showed up, after asking Sora to keep the Ark true to its course.

"Hey, have you guys seen Rem anywhere?" he asked.

"Some people can be pretty predictable," Trish murmured towards Yohko.

"You said it, Trish," agreed Yohko.

They all exchanged a bit of a quiet laugh with each other. Finally he found the blue haired demon maid, trying out new outfits that she found to her own liking. Some of them, formal, and some of them, a bit risque. She was wearing what appeared to be a white bikini that looked reminiscent of the one Emilia wore.

"Oh, I'm sorry, but I had to try this one on," she said quickly.

"Yeah, it's a lot of outfits," admitted Kenton.

"Maybe, too many outfits," replied Rem.

She gave him a warm smile, making him remember how Subaru said it looked cute on her.

"So, what's next?" she asked.

"Well, I thought we'd talk a little bit, and then, see…" explained Kenton, but he trailed off.

"After we drop Sora off at Yen Sid's," Rem said quickly.

Kenton soon snapped back to reality, as he watched Rem hang up a blue swimsuit.

"I know that look in your eyes. You're wondering what would happen if the two of us did have children of our own," giggled the former maid.

"Yeah, it does sound a bit obvious, considering how Subaru and Emilia are happy for us, Rem," smiled Kenton.

"I…" they said together.

"You can start first, Rem," he assured her.

"No, what were you going to say?" Rem asked him.

"I just wanted to tell you, that I'm happy Subaru recovered your memories, and how I promised to look after you in his stead. And I wanted to know what happened after you were ambushed by those cultists and put into a near endless sleep," explained the dark hunter.

"Well, that's one moment that really haunts me for a very long time, but I'm still working hard to be a good housewife, like Sora's friend, Makoto Kino, from Usagi's world," remarked Rem.

"I'm sure Mako would be happy to teach you, since she and Terra are an official couple now. There are still plenty of jobs for all of Team KRYYSTAAL to perform, considering how we helped Sora and Cody defend that dormitory from Sephiroth and his kids," Kenton said to her, as he approached her.

"I know I do," whispered Rem, after hanging up her other clothes.

Kenton gave her a calm nod.

"And I also want to tell you how happy I am to respect Subaru and Emilia's bond. But if I ever came between them, they'd never forgive me, just like how you wouldn't," she finished.

"Nothing's gonna change the way, about how I love you, Rem," assured the dark hunter.

"But after all the things that happened, after Subaru's Return by Death ability was disabled, I've become…" Rem tried to say, but she was stopped in her tracks as she felt Kenton's lips against her own, and they shared a passionate kiss with each other.

Rem wrapped her arms around him, and Kenton did the same, as they kissed. The kissing continued just as Petz arrived and cleared her throat. This made them jump back.

"I'm sorry, but is this a bad time to interrupt?" she asked them.

"Somewhat, Petz, but I guess I'll let it slide for now," replied the Dark Hunter.

"Well, okay then, because we're just approaching Master Yen Sid's tower," Petz said to them.

They soon set off down the corridor, while Berthier sat quietly at the chess table wondering what to do next.

"Listen, I get that you love Rem, but what about Akko, Trish, Akeno, Saya, Lisbeth, and Yohko?" Questioned the former dark lightning user.

"They're okay with how we work together as a team. Besides, some harems are sort of like family, just like how Sora met Kairi, both versions of Twilight Sparkle, Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, Yang Xiao Long, Minako Aino, and Momo Yaoyorozu. Besides, I've known Rem for a short while after my encounter with Subaru and Emilia, and even helped them destroy that cult so that their world could be at peace," Kenton explained to her.

"Or maybe you didn't know Rem well enough," remarked Petz.

She soon turned to face him.

"Listen, I loved Saphir, and we had a couple of good times going for each other, until Sora came to us and said that he was slain by Wiseman. And I'm glad you brought both me and my sisters with you to be part of your crew. But even though I disliked other guys like you, Sora, and all of his other guy pals. There are times when things don't work out so well for anyone else," she explained to him.

"But Saphir lives in you. Because he'll always love you," Kenton remarked towards her.

"If you want to know the one thing that always helps me live, it's this. I used to not trust anyone but myself, but I was blind to the truth, and almost got myself killed by Sora after he turned into Vanitas, during my final confrontation with him and the Warriors of Light. That's because I was being controlled by the darkness in my own heart, after Rubeus gave me the Dark Moon Stick, which made me more powerful, and almost led to me killing Koan, Berthier and Calaveras," said Petz

"That sounded like a lonely way to live," replied the Dark Hunter.

"It was the only way I thought of, but I now know that it was the wrong way," sighed the former dark lightning mage.

"We'll be dropping out of lightspeed, shortly," Koan said into the intercom.

"That's our cue, ladies and gentlemen. Prepare for reversion," Kenton said to his crew.

"Aye aye," replied his crew.

At last the Ark had dropped out a safe distance away from the tower.

"I'll go and check the dampers and the stabilizers. Give me a shout if you need anything, Trish," Sora said, as he stepped off the bridge.

"You got it," replied Trish, as she took the helm.

The Ark soon began it's slow descent towards the entrance of the tower of Master Yen Sid. Soon Rem arrived at Trish's side, as she looked at the tower.

"This must be where Master Yen Sid lives, even before I met Sora, and all of his other friends," she said to the demon who resembled Dante's late mother.

"During one mission, we flew through a nebula that was thick with carbon bergs, that collided against each other, like a thousand planets colliding against each other. Any ship that flew in there would never come out in one piece, or worse be destroyed. All there is, is nothing but ionized gas, water vapor, vacuum breathing life forms dancing about a couple of massive gravity wells. Only way in or out is through a stable channel that's similar to a wormhole," replied Trish.

She turned to Rem and gave her a bit of a friendly smile.

"What are you gonna do about Kenton?" she asked.

"Why ask me that, when he has others by his side?" questioned Rem.

"After that whole getting your memories devoured ordeal, you've never been the same, until after Subaru returned them to you. And I can tell how Akeno gets when she, quote, unquote, sleeps with him," smirked Trish.

"I get that Akeno loves Kenton as Yohko, Saya, Akko, and Lisbeth do, but he's different around me," replied Rem.

"Listen, I may not be like Eva, but there are times when any one needs a good mother figure at their side, mostly because of how Mundus created me with his own dark power, so that he'd have him killed. But after my close shave with death, Dante and I managed to beat him, and seal him away in the Demon World, maybe forever, until he's finally destroyed," the lightning demon said to her.

She then looked into Rem's eyes.

"Even after Dante introduced me to Lady, things have been a bit hectic between the both of us, but there was a time when she and I nearly went at each other's throats like rabid wolves. Sometimes I feel more like an older sister than a mother," explained Trish.

"Oh, yes, I can see that about you, since you remind me of my own sister, Ram," replied Rem.

"Sometimes I think, maybe I could be like a good mother, but oftentimes, I'm more like the older sister. I'm just an extremely complicated person," she said.

"But would mine and Kenton's children have Keyblades of their own?" asked the light blue demon.

"Of course," smiled Trish, giving her a gentle pat on the shoulder.

At last they arrived at the landing zone, and Sora stepped out and walked up the steps to Master Yen Sid's study.

"Ah, Sora. It is good that you've arrived, thanks to Team KRYYSTAAL," Master Yen Sid said to him.

Sora nodded slowly.

"Due to your efforts in keeping the Goddess' Dormitory safe from the darkness, and your victory over Sephiroth, I have a new mission for you that will be more challenging than the rest," he explained.

"I'm ready for anything," replied Sora.

"Good then. After all the hard work you've endured. I realized that you deserved a brief break from all the hardship you endured when you helped the Sailor Guardians protect their world from the darkness. That is why you are being sent to another world to attend a school that has five young ladies, training to become shinobi," the Sorcerer said to him.

"You mean… just like the other shinobi I met on Naruto's world? I was looking forward to spending a bit of time with my family back home on Destiny Islands," asked Sora.

"Yes, I know. However, despite your task as a Keyblade Master, you've begun to acknowledge the words of Peter Parker's Uncle, Ben Parker: With great power comes great responsibility. You are the beacon of hope that will dispel any darkness that tries to harm those you cherish with your heart. Your apprentices know that too, and have also taken part in the Mark of Mastery Examination, becoming full fledged Keyblade Masters like you and your friends. In time, you'll pass on what you've learned to your own descendants, as well as other people who will become your students as well, thus ensuring that the legacy of the Keyblade is never desecrated with darkness and death. But fear not, because an old friend of mine has come to this world after we made a few arrangements. He is a legendary Shinobi, and he has asked that you attend this school that is named in his honor," continued Master Yen Sid.

"Who is he?" wondered Sora.

They soon heard a knock on the door, and the sorcerer bade the one who knocked to enter. Sora turned and saw an elderly man with futomaki rolls in his hand.

"Greetings Sora," the man said to him.

"Hey there,' greeted Sora.

"I am Lord Hanzo, and this is my old friend Kiriya," he said to him.

Sora nodded as he stood at attention.

"I've heard many tales about you, and I'm happy to welcome you to the academy called 'Hanzo' that's in the world I herald from. I have a granddaughter who is very much like you, and is friends with many different people who attend, but holds a special secret that you're more than willing to share with your wonderful friends, if you ask them to not reveal too much about it. Are you okay with that?" explained Hanzo.

This made Sora excited. He knew that this mission was important, even though he knew that came to Remnant at the behest of Professor Ozpin, who invited him to Beacon and named him the fifth member of Team RWBYS. Hanzo smiled proudly at him.

"I'm in," he said.

"Excellent," replied Hanzo.

"See you soon," Sora said to his friends, and he soon set off for his new mission.

"May your heart be your guiding key," whispered Yen Sid as he watched him leave.
