Epilogue

Asuka joins Sora's family

Following a training session that was far more intense and grueling in the past three weeks, Asuka soon saw Sora looking out towards the smoldering ruins of Hebijo, following Sephiroth's destructive rampage with Supernova. He turned slowly away, then saw Asuka still had hair in that same ponytail style, and smiled at her. She was in her transformed outfit, but was happy in knowing that she'd finally met someone who was more respectful than anyone she'd met, even if it was around people whose hearts still had darkness and light within them.

"Hey, Sora, why did you choose to save me and Homura when you were fighting against that serpent Dogen summoned?" she asked.

"To make a long story short, I was so scared that you were gonna die, which caused HIbari to try and let me know that you'd both be alright. But when you said that friends would always care about each other, and that they'd feel completely lost without them, it made me remember that I was about to lose you to that guy, who craved power. But then my Divine Harmony form suddenly evolved into something even more powerful, that I called it Ultra Divine Harmony. Also, I hope that we see Homura and her friends, Team Crimson again. They may have started off as bad kunoichi, but even still, I've chosen to respect them, even though Yomi did look pretty, which I can admit pretty well," explained Sora.

This made Asuka giggle a bit, but she understood that while she and Ikaruaga had different fighting styles, she could sense a strong gentleness coming from him, which did put her at ease.

"By the way, I noticed how brave you were, fighting the Heartless with your Keyblade. I"m glad to have met someone who's very much like me, Ruby Rose, and Sailor Moon. Even so, even though I already confessed my feelings to you, I knew that despite how I started disliking frogs ever since I was little, everyone I knew was there to support me through my training, even before the trouble with Hebijo began. But after saving a frog, I realized that I know longer needed to be held back by something insignificant as fear. Every night, whenever I fall asleep, I'd wish upon a shooting star, and the one thing that I wished for, was someone who was very much like me, would teach me the true meaning of friendship, and who I would love with all my heart. Now I know… that someone is you. You helped me throughout my training with the others, we shared a few moments looking out at the stars, and you even told me about your pain. When I heard you saying that you wouldn't let me and Homura die, when things were at their most bleak, all of our friends felt the same way you did, and they chose to help us become stronger against Dogen, who after losing himself completely to an even greater darkness in side of him, was vanquished by you for all the terrible crimes he commited, even though killing would lead to darkness. Ever since back then, I always doubted myself for being nothing but dead weight, and was afraid of holding everyone back. But then, you taught me how to not let myself be ruled by negativity, and I even heard you telling Hibari that you didn't want to lose her to that same darkness. I never knew why at first. But I think I understand the true meaning of how Friendship is magic. And when you protected Ikaruga from Yomi after she defeated her, it's because you didn't like seeing your friends get hurt which gave me some serious motivation to go on. It's thanks to you that I now know why your friends are your power. It's because my friends are also my power. You taught both me and Homura a lesson that we'd never forget, even though we had a difference of opinion on what we'd do next, until I sensed that you had compassion in your heart for Homura's friends, but you also understood the similar pain Ikaruga, Yagyu, and Katsuragi felt. I've learned that being strong on your own isn't the way of a Warrior of Light, and it's because of you that we became closer than friends, which made me feel something in my heart. At that moment, I realized that the wish I made had finally come true. Everytime I fall asleep, and I start to hear a voice say that I'm proud to be the granddaughter of the Legendary Hanzo, all my nightmares just fade away. You mean everything to me, Sora. Because of you, for the first time in my life, I've also begun to know the true meaning of happiness. You've shown me that we make our own destiny, and not follow something that's set in stone. Because it's you I want to be with," Asuka said.

"Thank you, Asuka. And you're also pretty cool, and as well as very beautiful. That's something I truly love about you," smiled Sora.

"Uh, I'm really sorry for interrupting the moment, but the others are about to give you a send off, Sora," interjected Hibari, who stumbled and fell near them.

Both Asuka and Sora couldn't help but laugh quietly at Hibari's mishap, but they both gently pulled her up onto her feet, making her feel happy that she had truly great friends that would always be there for her.

"Well, Asuka, let's get going," he said.

"Right behind you, Sora," replied Asuka.

"That was beautiful, Asuka," Ikaruga said to her.

"Yeah, and your speech about Sora was beautiful," agreed Yagyu.

"He sure is a pretty great guy, huh?" smirked Katsuragi.

"Those three are right, Sora. You and Asuka make a great couple. Also, I'm sure she'd be proud to be a welcome addition to the Warriors of Light, along with her friends," said Riku.

"I know what you mean, Riku. And I'm really glad you guys helped me make sure that I'd never doubt my ability to make a difference, when I saved Weiss from being hurt by Cinder. Because ever since I got my Divine Harmony form, I feel like it's gotten even more powerful than before weight evolved along with my new powers. But thanks to both Asuka and our friendly rival Homrura, I feel like I've gotten stronger than before as well as even faster, despite bearing Twily's symbol on my hand. The bonds we've forged with the form Hebijo Elite Five, despite being out of spite, are what lead us here to this moment. And even though we fought against each other, we slowly began to understand each other's pain and hardships. Yin, Yang, light, darkness, good, evil, they're more alike than we realized. And even though I may not have promised Ikaruga anything, following Yomi's easy victory against her, I proved to be more of a challenge when I fought her. As for the scrolls, when you're souls merged with Asuka's and the souls of Homura's friends with her, the two scrolls became a part of them, and awakened their true hidden power. But Asuka knew that this power made her our shield, and our sword. Still, no matter where I go, or how far apart we may be, we'll always have each other in our hearts, no matter what. When we stick together, we're unbeatable, and darkness will never triumph over light," explained Sora.

"Well, before you and Asuka head off to who knows where, I say we all share a group hug with you two," replied Katsuragi.

The other girls nodded in agreement, and they all shared a group hug with each other, which made them promise to always be in each other's hearts.

"You know, it feels strange, Sunny. I feel like Sora's family keeps growing with each new adventure," said Riku.

"Yeah, Sora's really gotten popular with a lot of girls," agreed Kairi.

"Well, in the meantime, I think it's time for us to return to Radiant Garden after our all out attack on Hebijo, before it was reduced to smulders by Sephiroth," replied Reeve.

"Yeah, I may not like Sephiroth, just because of how overly creepy he is with that menacing sword of his, but Sora did say that he's not scared of him anymore," agreed Hibari.

"That is true, Hibari. But still, if Sora says he's not afraid of Sephiroth, then neither should we. Had I continued to walk the road of the lone wolf, after Nozomi's passing, and not met you, then I'd truly be lost in darkness forever," added Yagyu.

"But you didn't, Yagyu. When you and Hibari met, you saw your sister's gentle spirit lingering within her heart. Even though you can't change what happened to Nozomi, and even if your friend reminds you of her, she'ls still herself, and all of your friends can make sure you don't stray too close to the darkness" assured Roxas.

"I guess you're absolutely right, Roxas," admitted the blonde kickboxer.

"Yes, and we see that Sora's friends are very much like us, when we're in Asuka's heart," agreed the dark-haired swordswoman.

"And all of you, are right here too," Sora said to them, tapping his chest with his hand.

Moments later, after everyone was now aboard their ships, and leaving the Land of Yin and Yang, Sora and Asuka stood alone with each other on the Highwind, as they traveled the stars in the sky. Asuka looked out in awe, and saw that Sora was right. She saw billions of stars all around her, and each one of them had a world they'd yet to visit.

"Hey, Sora, thank you again for taking me with you to see your own homeworld," she said to him.

"You're welcome, Asuka," replied Sora.

By the way, what's your mother like?" Asuka asked curiously.

She's got blonde hair like Yomi and Katsuragi, her eyes are the same color as mine, and she's beautiful," he explained briefly.

"Then, I'd be honored to meet her," she mused to him.

Sora nodded in response.

"Me too, Asuka," he said.

(Time for an awesome Musical moment for Sora and Asuka, as they travel to Destiny Islands, so play Rise Again by Crush 40)

"When you're feeling like you're all but overthrown

Remember this, you are not alone

When you bite off more than you can chew

And at the end of your rope, you tangled yourself through

And you kick to break it

Seven ways to fake it all again

All again

And you try to make it

And you try to take it to move on

Move on through

When I'm low, I'm gonna rise again

Overshadow, overtake, and win

When I'm low, I'm gonna rise again

That's when I'm moving on

I'll rise again

Oh yeah

When you're feeling like your head is like a stone

Remember this, you are not alone

When you bite it off, you can spit it out

And tie it up and throw it out

And you kick to break it

Seven ways to fake it all again

All again

And you try to make it

And you try to take it to move on

Move on through

When I'm low, I'm gonna rise again

Overshadow, overtake, and win

When I'm low, I'm gonna rise again

That's when I'm moving on

Rise again

Rise again

Rise again

When you're feeling like you're giving up on everything that moves you

On and on, rise again

When I'm low, I'm gonna rise again

Overshadow, overtake, and win

When I'm low, I'm gonna rise again

That's when I'm moving on

Moving

I'll rise again"

(The end of the Song, as Sora and Asuka share a kiss, then pull apart from each other)

Asuka couldn't help but giggle at what happened.

"You know, even though we kissed a couple of times before, I can tell that this one was truly special," she admitted.

"I love you, Asuka. Just as I love everyone," Sora said to her.

"And I love you, Sora," replied Asuka, and they soon exchanged a hug with each other.

At last, they soon reached Destiny Islands, and Asuka saw that it reminded her of Shinobi Island back on her world.

"This place is so beautiful and peaceful, as you said it is," she said.

"It sure is, Asuka, and it's my home," replied Sora.

"I guess you were right about how Shinobi Island reminded you of home," Asuka smiled.

Sora had to agree, and with Asuka's hand in his own, he led her to his mother's house. After knocking on the door, Asuka saw it open, and there stood Sora's mother.

"Hey, Mom, I've come back home, and I've brought someone to meet you," he said.

"Welcome home, Sora. I can tell that you've been very busy keeping the worlds safe from the darkness, but no matter where you go, I'll always be proud of you," his mother replied.

Sora was so happy to hear that, but he soon began blinking a tear, which made her worried, until he hugged her just as he did in front of Twilight.

"I'm really sorry I didn't let you know sooner Mom. I guess I've been so busy that I never got a chance to visit you again," admitted Sora.

"It's alright, Sora. Besides, there's never been a day when I'd think of you, no matter how far away you'd be," she replied.

Then she turned and saw Asuka.

"And who is the sweet young lady with you?" she asked her.

"Oh, right. This is Asuka, Granddaughter of Hanzo," Sora replied.

Then he turned to Asuka.

"Asuka, this is my mother, Selena," he said to his new girlfriend.

"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Asuka," Selena said to Asuka.

"It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Selena," replied Asuka.

Selena then asked Sora to explain how they'd met as she allowed them to come inside and share tea. Then Sora bean telling the story of how he'd met Asuka, and was training hard in the way of the ninja, just like in Naruto's world, about the good times, the bad times, as well as how he understood Ikaruga, Katsuragi, and Yagyu's pain, but saw that Hibari was more bright and cheerful, as she'd always brighten up everyone's spirits. Then he spoke about five other girls who were on the side of darkness, and after helping them realize that not everything was as black and white as it seemed, they formed a temporary truce and confronted an even greater evil that tried to destroy their world. And about how he and Asuka fell in love. He just said things that came to mind, but Selena understood that he was now back to his usual happy-go-lucky self.

"I can tell that after everything that happened, you and Asuka are truly alike," admitted Selena.

"Yeah, that's why I truly love your son. He's not only changed the lives of my friends, but also our friendly rivals, who are now Team Crimson, and gave them a chance to be truly happy," replied Asuka.

"I'm so proud of him, just as your relatives are. Maybe even prouder than any mother could be," Sora's mother said.

"Thanks, Mom. Listen, I should probably get going. I just want to show Asuka the island that I'd visit across the ocean," replied Sora.

"Well, okay, but try not to stay out too late, as well do things that I wouldn't tolerate," said Selena.

"Come on, Mom. Even if there's more than one girl, I'd never think of hurting their feelings. That's not like me at all," remarked her son.

But he still said his farewells to her, and walked off with Asuka trailing behind him. Once he was gone, Selena soon began making the plans to prepare the celebration ahead, so she contacted Riku and told him that the time was drawing near. Once on the island, there standing before Sora and Asuka saw three of Sora's friends, Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie.

"Hey, Sora, it's great to see you," greeted Tidus.

"Hey, what's happening, man?" added Wakka.

"Welcome back, Sora," finished Sephie.

"Oh yeah, it's been so long since we've last met. It's almost been like an eternity. By the way, during my visit to another world, I met someone who reminds me of myself and Ruby Rose," replied Sora.

"Hello everyone, I'm Asuka. It's nice to meet you. I also happen to be Sora's girlfriend," Asuka greeted them.

"Whoa, she really does look pretty, and is also very cute," admitted Tidus.

He slowly stepped forward.

"Anyway, the name's Tidus. Nice to meet you, Asuka," he said to her.

"I'm Wakka. Coach and captain of the Destiny Island Aurochs," added Wakka.

"I'm Selphie Tilmitt. It's nice to see you as well, Asuka," finished Selphie.

Asuka was amazed to see that these three were also from the same island that Sora was from.

"Anyway, Sora, How long do you plan on staying?" Tidus asked his friend.

"Well, just for today. I did promise Asuka that I'd take her to me Mom and the rest of you," replied Sora.

"Still, I'm wondering just how strong she really is. Is it okay if we challenge her to a sparring match?" Tidus asked.

Sora was confused about it.

"I just wanna see how strong she is, regardless of the many times we've fought against each other before," he explained.

"Same here. I'd like to see how talented Asuka is, ya?" agreed Wakka.

"Please, Sora? Can you let us have a battle with Asuka?" asked Selphie.

"Okay, sure," replied Sora.

He then passed two wooden swords to her, which seemed different from her own swords, because they were made of wood.

"I guess having a fair sparring battle seems fine, since I've been training a lot with my friends back at the school that's named in my Grandfather's honor, but just know that I won't be going easy on you guys," smiled Asuka.

"Don't go overboard, Asuka. And remember, that you shouldn't over estimate your opponents, regardless of the difference in strength," Sora warned her.

"Right, I've got this," replied the ponytailed kunoichi, as she changed into her ninja outfit in a flash of blinding light.

Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie were surprised, but they were also amazed.

"Okay, you guys. Prepare yourselves!" Asuka said to them.

"With pleasure, Asuka!" replied Tidus.

"Ready, fight!" Sora announced, and the battle was on.

With her intensive training, and the experience she went through, Asuka, true to her word, fought and managed to defeat all three of Sora's opponents.

"You've been training a lot, ya?" admitted Wakka.

"Oh man, I'm really off today," agreed Tidus.

"You're really good," Selphie said to her.

"Well, even though you fought well, and still have a long way to go, I know you'll get better. Because with every defeat, you learn to improve yourselves. That's something I learned from a lot of different people, regardless of their own nature or upbringing," explained Asuka.

She makes a fair point, you guys. That's why after defeating Haruka, when she had Hibari at her mercy, It's because I refused to let anyone die. But in a sparring match, it's important to have plenty of fun, regardless of whether you win or lose. I've learned that I mustn't lose faith and give up. That's something that everyone taught me, and I'll keep that lesson I've learned close to my heart," agreed Sora.

Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie nodded in agreement, but as they left, Sora and Asuka remained behind, as they said their goodbyes. Once they were gone, Sora took Asuka to a tree that had star shaped fruit hanging from it, and watched the setting sun. Neither of them knew that Sora's three friends had bought them plenty of time to stall for something special.

"I really like this sunset, Sora. IT's so beautiful and it makes the ocean sparkle," she said.

"Yeah. But you wanna know something that's even better?" Sora asked her.

"The shining stars in the night sky," replied Asuka.

"Hehehehe… You remembered," he chuckled, and Asuka gave a light giggle.

"Sora, I wanna ask you something," she said.

"What's up, Asuka?" wondered Sora.

"Will we always be together?" Asuka asked.

"This sounds like Dejavu with Twily," mused Sora.

"I may not know who that is, but after realizing that you and I are from different worlds, you like to travel to other worlds to save them from the darkness," she said.

"Maybe. But who cares? Every world is connected by one destined sky. And we'll always be together, even if we're worlds apart," replied Sora.

Then he reached up and picked two of the star shaped fruit and brought them down.

"This paopu fruit has a legend that goes with it. Once you share it with someone, your destiny will be intertwined with them, and you'll always be a part of each other's lives. And no matter how much your enemies try to sever that connection, that bond will never be truly broken. As long as you have each other," he explained.

"It sounds really romantic, Sora," replied Asuka.

The two of them took a bite from each other's fruit.

"No matter what happens, I'll always love you, Granddaughter of Hanzo," he said.

"And I love you too, My brave and heroic Samurai of Light," replied Asuka, and the two of them shared a hug and a passionate kiss.

"Let's head back to my place, Asuka. It's already gotten late," Sora said.

"Right behind you, Sora," smiled the kunoichi.

They soon returned home, and as Sora walked inside, he saw that the lights were off.

"Wait a second, how come the lights aren't on?" he wondered.

"Maybe your mother went shopping, Sora," inquired Asuka.

"I guess you might be right," replied Sora.

He soon stepped inside, but as he wondered where his mother was, the lights suddenly clicked on.

"Happy Birthday, Sora!" his friends said to him.

"Wha-!? It's my birthday?" Sora asked, his eyes wide with shock.

"Of course it is, son. You're the guest of honor," replied his mother.

"And don't you worry, because nobody's even thinking of ruining it, like mine almost was," assured Usagi, who had arrived with Mamoru and Chibiusa.

"Usako's right, Sora. Riku asked us to plan this surprise party after you came back from your mission on Asuka's world," agreed Mamoru.

"You… remembered?" Sora asked him.

"Of course he did, Sora. That's why while you were visiting that other Ninja World, Roxas told us that your birthday was coming up soon," JunJun answered, albeit a bit sassily.

"We both share the same powers, and the same feelings, but we wanted to make your birthday even more special, just like Usagi's before Kaolinite ruined it big time," agreed Roxas.

"It's thanks to all the things that you did for all of us," added VesVes.

"Also, Asuka's friends were informed about this while we were fighting in the Battle of Hebijo, but we didn't want to ruin the big surprise for you, or Rei would be annoyed at us," agreed Ami.

"Ami's right, Sora. Besides, it was the only way to ensure that you didn't know about it. That's why after that battle, and after being healed by the RGRO medics, we knew that the time was fast approaching, and we informed all of your other friends about this," added Rei.

"Like they say, what goes around in Vegas, has to stay in Vegas," smirked Minako.

"Even your other friends would agree, Asuka," smiled Applejack.

Asuka turned around, and there was Ikaruga, Katsuragi, Hibari, Yagyu, Homura, Yomi, Hikage, Mirai, and Haruka, who received the invite to attend Sora's birthday. She was surprised to see all of her friends, including Kiriya, Hanzo, Rin, and Daidoji, who told her that they received invitations to go as well, and had come with Kenton aboard the Ark, and even thanked Sora for ensuring that Dogen was finally no more. Sora seemed happy to hear that, as Haruka gave him a friendly hug, even as she looked flirtily at him.

"You're not just strong, Sora. You even proved that there will always be someone who's pulling at our strings from an even greater darkness. That's more than enough reason for me to believe in you, my dear friend," she said.

"Yeah, I guess unlike some of the other people who are capable of cruelty, you're a pretty cool guy to be around," agreed Mirai.

"Thank you, Mirai. Also, even though we fought against each other as enemies, you've earned my undying respect," replied Sora, giving her a friendly grin.

This made the young girl with the tomoe eyepatch giggle a bit, but she seemed to blush a bit at what she heard.

"I've learned that even though you and Ikaruga were born commoners, you're a special kind of commoner who taught me that it doesn't matter which upbringing you're part of, so long as you help the people around you regardless of which class they're part of," admitted Yomi.

"And even though I've felt my first surge of emotion, you said that it's what makes us human, and gives us strength," added Hikage.

And seeing you save me and Asuka so that we could put that snake Dogen unleashed out if it's misery, I'm actually happy to consider you my sparring buddy, Bub," agreed Homura.

"Well, let's get this party started everyone," said Pinkie PIe.

Sora seemed happy that everyone around him he'd met in the world that Asuka and her friends came from had now become his friends, while the former elite five became Team Crimson, and became his new friendly rivals.

"What can I say? You guys are the best," he said to them, earning a nod, and the party had begun, with everyone singing, dancing, and all kinds of other foods that they enjoyed the most.

Soon, Kairi, the two versions of Twilight, Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang, Minako, Momo, and Asuka stood off to one side, and spoke about what they loved most about Sora, they had to agree that they'd share their love with him, and that no matter how many girls were with him, they would always be one big happy family, no matter what.

"Also, even if VesVes can sometimes be a bit of a pain in the neck, and whenever Rina, my future daughter might be around him, I'd never think of pushing you away, because I've become better than that. That's why I'm proud to be called his Goddess of Love, and his Angel of Light," Minako said to Asuka.

"I also feel the same way, Minako. Because even if I don't change that much, I'm happy being me. That's why I've learned that we're ourselves, and nobody else. We have our own hearts inside of us. And I also know you guys would probably feel the same way as I do," replied Asuka.

"You said it, Asuka. And even if I do take hold of your "personal belongings," I've found out that Sora also understood how we were hurting, just as Team Crimson were hurting when we fought them, and later joined forces with them. That's why he was able to ease most of our pain," smiled Katsuragi who joined them.

After the party, Sora knew that it was time for everyone to return home, but with Asuka being part of his family, he knew that it meant one day, the two of them would one day have children of their own. But in her house, Selena looked up at the sky, from behind her window.

"Beloved Regis, If you were here right now, I'm sure that you'd proud of the man Sora has become," she said quietly, with her hands over her chest.

At his new suite, on the highest floor, Sora stretched a bit, then laid down on his bed, just as Asuka joined him, while everyone else was fast asleep in their own apartments.

"Sora, I'm honored to be part of your family," she said to him.

"And I'm honored that you're part of my family too, Asuka. And the same can be said for all of your other friends," replied Sora.

But in Insomnia, things seemed to be rather bleak, because the death of Dogen at the hands of Sora meant only one thing.

"That fool, Dogen. He allowed his lust for power to become his undoing, when Sora killed him, after he said that he chose the way of the lost cause. Perhaps he should have just destroyed both scrolls and taken their power for themselves, had they not merged with Asuka and Homura, who have become the rightful inheritors of their power," scoffed Kurai.

"I believe so, my son. But still, regardless of what the RGRO did, things will most certainly be in our favor," assured Ardyn.

"Dogen was beyond help, consumed by his own powerlust. One should beware of letting it burn too fiercely," agreed Maleficent.

"Hmph… but at least with his death, I've absorbed his soul and his power, and reduced that school Hebijo to a smoldering ruin. It won't be long until they realize that it's been destroyed. True power is of course, with that of Mother, and in even greater shadows," replied Sephiroth, then he chuckled darkly.

The others joined him as well, and their laughter soon filled the ruins of that once peaceful city of Insomnia, now under the direct control of Niflheim.
