I know this is a late Valentine's Story but I could care less. So I decided to try a crack ship for once. I figured I may as well see what I can do with this pairing. This takes place in an alternate universe in high school.

Zoey was an awkward girl when she came to Wawanakwa High, but ever since meeting her best friends, Cameron and Gwen she's been more outgoing, she even had a boyfriend at one point. His name was Mike, unfortunately he wasn't truly ready for a relationship at the time and he kept some very important secrets like when he lied about his Dissociative Identity Disorder and his corrupted personality Mal, so they had to break up, they ended on good terms though as they were both generally cool and collected people and thankfully Mike was able to lock Mal up in his mind again thanks to some therapy.

Currently it was Valentine's Day and Zoey was walking up to Gwen and Cameron where their lockers were and smiled at them, "Hey Cameron and Gwen."

"Hi Zoey, are you excited for today, it is Valentine's Day." Cameron smiled back.

"You bet I am; even if I don't have a boyfriend, it's still a good holiday." Zoey nodded.

"I honestly don't get Valentine's Day. Why is it such a big deal, personally I felt that it was just an excuse for making out." Gwen scoffed.

"Oh come on, you'd be changing your tune if Trent was around." Cameron teased.

Gwen blushed when she heard Trent's name, but shook it off.

"Come on guys, I doubt he even likes me that way." Gwen rolled her eyes.

Zoey knew that was a lie, when Trent sang a song about a girl in last month's talent show he was staring at Gwen the whole time.

"Hey guys." A voice interrupted her thoughts, she turned to see it was just Cody. He was a late addition to their friend group, at first he had this ladies man persona and would always flirt with Gwen, once the goth told him off he was heartbroken, Zoey knew the geek had good intentions so she was able to help them reconcile with Cody apologizing for his unwanted advances. Ever since then he's slowly become more of a friend to them although Zoey eventually realized she had a crush on him after getting to know him better, she only told Gwen this because Cameron was terrible with secrets, Gwen was Intially surprised but she kept her secret safe.

"Oh hi Cody, how's Sierra doing?" Cameron asked curiously.

"Did she surprise you in your locker like last year?" Gwen rolled her eyes.

"Gwen, come on! We know that Sierra's been working through her issues in therapy." Zoey lectured.

"It's fine Zoey, I can understand her anger." Cody smiled reassuringly, "Thankfully no, she's been doing better with her obsession with me."

Zoey soon opened her locker and soon she saw a pink envelope.

"Huh? What's this?" Zoey asked as she took the envelope out.

"Dear Zoey, I'm not very good with words so I wrote this letter, I'll just say it right now, I really like you. Your personality is very sweet, I feel very comfortable around you, and I like how tough you can be. I'm too nervous to tell you in person so I'll leave this anonymous. From Your Secret Admirer." Zoey read.

"Wow, some guy has a crush on you big time." Gwen said in shock.

"We'll we shouldn't rule out any of the girls, Zoey is bisexual after all." Cameron added.

"Cameron, the person who wrote this has to be a friend of ours and we don't have many candidates, Leshawna and Zoey don't seem that close, Bridgette is straight, Dakota has Sam, Sky's clearly pining for Dave, and Courtney's with Scott." Gwen said.

"So if it's one of our friends we have to rule out Geoff so that leaves either Owen, Noah, Mike, or Trent." Cameron deduced.

Zoey saw Cody's eyes shift a bit and raised an eyebrow at this.

'Why's he so nervous?' Zoey thought to herself.

"Well it definitely can't be Mike, he's seemed to move on to some girl named Sammy now." Cody said.

"Isn't she the one with that tool of a sister Amy?" Gwen asked.

"Yep that's the one." Cameron nodded.

"So it's settled, I'll ask Owen and Noah about it later at lunch." Zoey said to which Cameron and Cody nodded at and once again Cody shifted his eyes to another direction, Gwen noticed this and raised an eyebrow at Cody, Cody widened his eyes once he saw this, thankfully for him, Zoey didn't see this.

Soon Zoey and Cameron began walking off and Cody tried to as well but Gwen grabbed his arm, "You and I need to talk at lunch."

After their classes, Cody, Cameron, and Gwen soon sat at their usual table for lunch, Zoey would be sitting with them but right now she was looking for Owen and Noah.

"Okay, it's clear you're hiding something, I saw you act all nervous over the whole letter thing, talk." Gwen said firmly.

"Okay, I'm the one who wrote Zoey that letter." Cody sighed.

"Wow, you know I suspected you had feelings for each other but I wasn't so sure." Cameron said in shock.

"I figured that might be the case, I noticed you pining over her for a while now." Gwen shrugged with a smirk.

"What how?! I thought I was super stealthy about it." Cody said in shock.

"You blush when she compliments you or hugs you, and you do almost anything for her." Gwen explained.

"Yeah that checks out." Cody muttered.

"Why did you put her through this, now she's asking Noah and Owen who gave her the letter." Cameron asked curiously.

"I couldn't hold in my feelings and I figured I needed to let them out somehow so I decided to tell her in a letter but I kept my identity a secret so our friendship wouldn't be ruined, I just thought she might be a little curious and move on, I didn't think she'd do this." Cody answered.

"Well you gotta tell her Cody. If you don't, I'm telling her and I think that would be way worse than you doing it." Gwen said angrily, "Besides, it's the best for both you and her, and I doubt she'll stop being friends with you."

"I guess you're right." Cody sighed, "But I really hope you guys are right about this."

Meanwhile with Zoey, she was a bit shocked to find out Owen or Noah did not write the letter.

"Really? Neither of you wrote the letter?" Zoey asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah sorry, I have a crush on that wild girl Izzy, she's awesome. She's so adventurous, and my buddy Noah is pining after this lawyer girl, her name is Emma." Owen explained.

"Owen! I told you that in secret!" Noah seethed in anger.

"Aw come on Noah, Zoey's a good friend she won't blab." Owen comforted him.

"Whatever, anyway Little Red, are you sure it's not Cody, you're really into him and I know he feels something for you too. Just kiss already and end this insufferable pining." Noah groaned.

Zoey blushed when she heard Cody's name but she tried to hide it, "How did you know that?! Did Gwen tell you?!" Zoey asked fearfully.

"No, it's just painfully obvious." Noah explained, "He probably wrote the letter so just ask him and you'll find out. He's a terrible liar after all."

"Well, I guess you have a point." Zoey said in thought, "Okay I guess I can ask him."

Zoey then walked back to Cody, Gwen, and Cameron and sat next to Cody.

"Hey guys. So Owen and Noah didn't write the note but they did have a weird guess on who might have written it." Zoey said as she subtly paid attention to Cody's reaction.

"Oh, do they now?" Cody blushed as his eyes shifted, Zoey was beginning to think Noah was right. Cody didn't even seem to be hiding it very well if he actually wrote the note.

"Yeah, Cody, is there something wrong? You're acting a bit strange." Zoey said in concern.

Cody sighed before speaking, "Okay, Zoey, I need to tell you something important. Gwen and Cameron, do you mind giving us some space?"

"Yeah, you guys probably need it." Cameron nodded before he and Gwen left to sit at another table where Noah and Owen were.

"Is Cody confessing?" Noah asked quizzically.

"He told us he needed to tell Zoey something important so yeah he likely is." Gwen smirked.

"How come you sent them away?" Zoey raised an eyebrow.

"They already know what I need to say." Cody explained, "Zoey, how do I put this? I put the note in your locker. After getting to know you better and getting over my crush on Gwen I realized I had feelings for you. I wanted to see if my feelings for you would stick before I did anything and when they did I was scared. Because if I told you, you might see me as a pervert again and end our friendship."

"So why did you plant the note in my locker?" Zoey asked curiously.

"Because I needed to let out my feelings somehow. I figured you'd pass it off as a random love note and if no one said anything, you'd assume it's just a random crush but I guess I did put my heart into it." Cody answered, "I'm sorry if I disturbed you with this, hopefully we can still be friends."

Zoey just embraced Cody which shocked the geek but he didn't complain.

"I'm so happy to hear you say this." Zoey smiled.

"You're not mad." Cody said happily.

"Hardly." Zoey continued, "I actually feel the same way about you. Except I only told Gwen this because I was also scared about losing you."

"So does this mean we're… a thing now?" Cody asked curiously.

"Only if you want to try it." Zoey answered.

"I don't see why not." Cody shrugged happily.

We then see Gwen, Cameron, Owen, and Noah sitting at the other table with smiles on their faces, even Noah seemed genuinely happy about this.

"They're hugging so that seems like a good sign." Cameron said happily.

"I could hear Zoey say how glad she was to hear what Cody said, I'm right to assume they confessed to each other." Noah smirked.

"Oh cool, it's great that they're going out." Owen smiled at Noah.

Gwen couldn't help but feel proud of Cody, he came a long way from the hopeless romantic he used to be.
