Do you like this or would you prefer a regular twin story, I have ideas for both?
"Ugh!" Mikumo grunted as he was slammed into the matt, hard by a girl with purple hair. His body ached, this was the fifth time he had been planted. "How'd I do that time?"
The girl, Naomi, smirked at him. "A tad better, Null." She was American, and like so many in his MMA class, thought little of him for being quirkless like Izuku. Null was a nasty American word for Qurikless people, but he knew that before he met her. Exactly like Izuku, he had a good understanding of English and he had memories of research on the way Qurikless people were treated around the world.
"So kind of you to say." Standing, he stretched his body. "Again!" He declared, falling into his low stance. He had been practicing MMA for two weeks, while his brother/progenitor trained with All Might in secret.
He remembered, as he fought Naomi ( and got his ass badly kicked) , speaking to his brother and All Might about keeping their secret.
"A clone?" All Might said in his deflated form, looking on at Mikumo in shock. "Quirks like that are so rare, to make a full if slightly weaker version of you... and make it, him, permanent? That takes serious power!"
Mikumo smiled at the man. "It is nice to meet you, All Might, even if we've technically met before."
All Might smiled at him, warmly. "It's nice to meet you too, kid." They shook hands. "But since you're here, I have to ask you to keep quiet about my quirk and your brother's training. No one can know about this."
Sighing, and feeling a bit left out, Mikumo nodded. Turning to face his brother, who looked on with a desperate sort of gaze, he offered a smile. "I won't say anything, Izuku... but... I... I am going to be hero too! I am going to prove you wrong, both of you. A hero doesn't need a quirk to be great, I'll prove that."
The look on both of their faces made it clear they were not as into believing his dream as he was. That was okay with him, frustrating as it was. He was as smart as Izuku and more logical since he lacked the self hatred of a life time of mistreatment. He could see that he could be a hero, it wouldn't be easy, hell it would be utter hell to get good enough... but he could do it. One way or another...
He would be a hero.
Their mom had been oddly okay with him going to take up the classes, both online and in-person. Thanks to their father and Inko both having jobs, they had plenty of money to spend. There was a reason they had been able to afford so many All Might merchandise over the years. With that money, he had started to go to the gym daily to work out both lifting and lots of cardio, practice MMA three days a week, take a basic Tumbling/Gymnastics twice a week, take first aid classes through the Red Cross every weekend, and take marksmanship classes twice a week.
It was exhausting, bonebreaking work, but if his brother could spend his days cleaning a beach to pristine levels while also working out and attending actual school... then he could do this. Being as Smart as Izuku, he could easily manage his online classes in three hours a day as opposed to the Eight needed to attend public high school. This gave him a lot of time to work out, take his classes and just do his damndest to become the first Qurikless hero.
To be honest, he wasn't sure why he wanted to become a hero, just felt like he had to do it. Maybe it was an echo from his brother? Who knew, all he knew was that he had to do this and it felt right. It felt right ot have a purpose, to have a sense of need. That specifically was something he got from Izuku, right from the source. He had to matter... being a clone, even though his emotions were still muted, he felt a panic when he thought of his purpose... and how he was a literal accident. It was strange as hell and something he knew that he would have to face eventually...
But until that day, he had a girl to survive kicking his ass and training to do... he only had nine and half more months until he took the entrace exam. He had to do this...
He had no choice if he wanted to matter.
