A/N: Upstead Appreciation Week Day 1: "Is that my shirt?" / "You mean our shirt?"

"Okay, I think this is the last of it," Jay calls to Hailey, putting the box down.

"Good," Hailey answers coming into view, "now we just need to figure out what to do with everything."

The two detectives had just finished moving Jay's things into Hailey's place. It had been a slow process, as they were still waiting for the right time to tell the rest of their team about them, so the moving process had been taking place on their rare days off.

"Is that my shirt?" Jay asks looking over to his girlfriend, just now realizing she is wearing a very familiar Bears shirt.

"You mean our shirt?" Hailey retorts.

"No, I'm pretty sure that shirt's mine," Jay responds with a raised eyebrow looking at Hailey- in the shirt that is several sizes too big.

"It's part of our thing," Hailey answers walking closer to Jay.

"'Our thing'?"

"Yeah, our thing."

"Since when?"

"Since you started staying here as my boyfriend. You'd stay here and forget your shirt and I'd claim it as ours."

"Sounds like this isn't the first shirt of mine that found it's way to you."

"Nope," Hailey smiles, reaching up to peck his lips. "Don't worry, your baseball shirts are safe," she makes a face, teasing him.

"Still afraid to wear the shirt of the superior team I see."

"In your dream. The Cubs will make a comeback."

"The day that the Fire wins the Supporter's Shield."

"Come on, we need to get some of this stuff organized," Hailey drags him to where all the boxes were.

"This stuff? Don't you mean our stuff?" Jay teases.

"You know what I mean. And I'm fine leaving it, but I know if we don't get it at least a little organized, you won't be able to sleep tonight."

"Fine, but first," Jay steals another kiss from her. "Okay, we can start now."

"Okay," Jay sighs, collapsing on the couch. "I think we can call it a night," he pulls Hailey onto his lap.

"Really? We only got through half of it," she reminds him.

"We have too much stuff."

"That's what happens when two adults combine their belongings into one apartment."

"Right. Finish tomorrow?"

"If we don't get called in."

"Hey, a nine to five would be boring," Jay jokes.

"So boring," Hailey agrees.

"Mmm," Jay hums against her lips. "Any chance of me getting my shirt back?"

"Maybe? If you can take it from me," Hailey teases him getting up. This peeks Jay's interest and he follows her to their bedroom.

"You know, if this is how I get my shirts back from you, I don't mind you taking them," Jay tells her as they lay in bed cuddling.

Hailey hums in response. "Good… because your shirts are more comfortable."

"You drown in my shirts… it's kinda cute. Badass, detective, Hailey Upton drowning in my shirts."

"Our shirts," Hailey corrects him.

"Sorry, I forgot. Our shirts," he gives in.

"I'll let it slide," she reaches up to kiss his jawline. "This time."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah, you're cute," she copies his words.

"Cute?" Jay feigns annoyance.

"Fine… I guess handsome is the better word."

"Yeah, I like that one better," he goes to kiss her again.

"So, I was thinking," Hailey starts.

"Uh-oh, that's never a good thing," Jay teases her.

"JAY!" she yells, pinching his side.

"Sorry, sorry," Jay apologizes. "What were you thinking?"

"I think it's time to tell the rest of the team."

"Really?" Jay asks surprised. "Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I'm sure. You're it for me. I know that and I don't want to hide it anymore. Are you okay with that?"

"Yeah. I'm very okay with it."

"How do you want to tell them?"

"However you want."

"I have an idea," Hailey tells him before explaining her plan.

That next weekend, the intelligence team, minus Voight, all meet at Kim's place to watch the Blackhawks game. Hailey had shown up before Jay to help Kim set up along with Vanessa.

"How come the boys never help set up?" Vanessa asks.

"Because, if they helped it would take hours," Kim deadpans.

"Besides, it's not that bad," Hailey adds. "Jay's picking up the pizza on his way here, Kev's got the beer, and Adam's keeping Makayla busy."

"True," Vanessa gives in. Are you sure we have enough food?" she questions looking at the food that they have gotten ready. "This is a lot for just us and it's not even like it's the Stanley Cup."

"You've never seen the boys and their sports and their food," Kim reminds her. "Trust me… it will be gone."

About ten minutes after the girls finish, the guys make it to Kim's apartment within five minutes of each other.

Each of them makes their plat and Adam also makes Makayla's just in time to crowd Kim's living room for the game to start

By the end of the game, almost all of the food is gone and the team is very happy with the comeback of the Blackhawks– sans Adam since they were playing his beloved Blue Jackets.

"When are you leaving the dark side?" Kim teases him.

"Hey, now. Wait and see, Darlin'. It's going to be my team winning the cup this season."

This starts the rest of the team joining in on the conversation. Ruzek getting verbally beat up by his unit for choice in hockey teams leads him to try to find a distraction. "Halstead is there a reason Upton is wearing your shirt?"

"What?" Jay asks surprised by the change of the subject.

"There's no way that's hers. It's too big."

"Doesn't mean it's mine."

"She spends all her time with you, I doubt there's time for a boyfriend."

"Hey," Hailey slaps Adam in the back of the head. "I'm right here."

"Would you like to answer then?" Adam raises an eyebrow.

"It's not Jay's shirt," Hailey rolls her eyes at the officer.

"Then who's is it?" Adam presses.

Hailey looks to Jay before looking back to Adam, "It's our shirt," she emphasizes before reaching out to hold Jay's hand, leaving the rest of them speechless… but only for a moment.

A/N: I know this is super late, but I didn't want to post without having them all written. I still don't, but figured this was a good time to post them. I have it planned so I will post one a day until Feb 23; I have 5 more complete and one half-written. All but one is for Upstead. The first 7 will be Upstead, then Stellaride, and finally Once Chicago. Fingers crossed that I can finish them all.

Once I do these, there's an 85% chance I'll try to get back into a rhythm with updating my multi-chapter fics.

Also, Fluff isn't really my thing, or at least, I don't think it is, so these ones are going to be around 1,000 words, the Stellaride ones I'm aiming for around 3,000, and One Chicago I'm aiming for around 5,000 words.

I wrote this this past summer (2021) so I didn't know about them getting a different place together.
