Chapter 6, Rage of The Destroyer

Same Time as Percy learning the truth, Engine Room, Argo II ~

Thalia was shocked at what she just witnessed. Her brother had concrete evidence of Annabeth cheating on her boyfriend. The Annabeth that Thalia remembered was madly in love with Percy, so why? Why cheat on the one man who would never hurt her? That little girl that Thalia raised with Luke was gone, and in her place was a girl Thalia didn't recognize at all. Before Thalia could start thinking of why her friend would do this to the son of Poseidon, she noticed something.

The smell of sea salt in the air from the sea outside the Argo II was getting stronger. Then the Argo II started to rock slowly upon the sea as the waves got stronger and stronger. The aura of the son of Poseidon was steadily increasing in power, yet it was far too subtle for anyone other than children of the Big Three to sense. She watched as Jason stood up quickly and grabbed Percy by the shoulders.

"Percy you have to calm down man! If you don't get control of your emotions you'll sink the whole ship!" Her little brother said firmly to the Savior of the Greeks. That seemed to calm the raging storm known as Percy Jackson. The son of Poseidon visibly tensed up, before slowly relaxing. Leo stood up as well and walked over to Percy to give him a small hug.

"Now you see why we thought this was important Perce, we would have held off on showing you this but we were worried Annabeth might try to lie to you about it if you found out for yourself." Thalia was honestly surprised at the pure honesty in Leo's tone as he spoke to the broken hearted young man. Thalia stealthily creeped away from the trio of demigods currently trapped in a hug fest. She had to speak with a certain daughter of Athena…

Percy was unsurprisingly pissed at what he was just shown. It was only thanks to Jason's quick thinking in saying he put everyone at risk with losing control of his powers that stopped him. To think that his biggest reason to keep pushing forward while in Hell has betrayed him? That made him really angry, but thanks to his time spent under the tutelage of both The First Demon and The Mistress of Night, Percy was able to control and hide his emotions. Jason and Leo both let go of the group hug at the same time and waited for him to speak.

"Thanks for telling me guys, really thanks. I'm going to need some time to mull over this. If anyone asks for me, tell them I went to my father's domain." The son of Poseidon stated with a small, sad grin upon his scarred face. Percy then stood and left the heat of the engine room to head to the deck of the ship. On his way there Percy was stopped by Frank.

"Hey Percy, I just wanted to say that I am glad you're back. We almost fell apart without you here" The tall Asian son of War said with an uncertain look as he clapped Percy on the back. Percy just smiled tightly and nodded to him as he continued on his path to the deck. As Percy ascended to the deck he saw Annabeth walking towards him, and not wanting to deal with her after what he just learned, Percy jumped overboard not caring for the shouts of panic coming from the girl he loved..

Finally some fucking peace Percy thought as he slowly descended to the depths of the sea.

Percy could feel the overwhelming rage he holds deep within himself start to boil over and he decided it was time to let it out. So he did. Percy unshackled the rage he had held in his entire life.

Up above the waves Annabeth and Thalia watched as Percy jumped overboard and sunk into the ocean depths. After a few minutes of staring into the water, they noticed something odd.

The rocking of the waves just stopped.

They looked at each other as they realized the ocean just stopped moving.

As Percy continued to sink, he closed his eyes and let out a mental message to all sea life in the area to leave, then started to create a small localized hurricane deep below the surface of the water in order to completely expend himself of all his anger. After a few minutes he opened his eyes to see complete and utter destruction of the sea floor in a 3 mile radius and a man with the lower half of a fish staring at him with an expressionless face and trident in hand. The Crown Prince of the Sea was standing in front of him.

"Please tell me you're here to fight Triton, I really need to let off some more anger." Percy said to the god across from him. Triton merely raised his eyebrow and waved his hand at the destruction around the two Princes of the Sea before speaking.

"Was this not enough Perseus?" The god said as he gestured to the surrounding area, still expressionless. Percy responded in the most simple way he could.

He uncapped Riptide.

Triton finally let some emotion slip through his expression. The god smirked slightly before mimicking his younger brother's combat ready stance. Then, as if it was planned, they both rushed each other with weapons out so that they could bond in the only way they knew. Battle.

Annabeth was annoyed. Percy just ignored her calling for him and jumped overboard. She let out a screech of angry panic. What was with that boy! Didn't he realize that his friends just wanted to see him after 5 & half months? And what was with that look of anger he shot her before jumping the side railing?

Wait, did he know the truth?

No, there is no way he knows already, the not so intelligent daughter of the wisdom goddess thought to herself. As Annabeth pondered why Percy could be upset with her, she heard footsteps heading her way. The silver outfit of the Hunt invaded her peripheral vision as Thalia walked over to her with a scowl on her face. However, before the daughter of Zeus could speak the rocking of the waves ceased. Both female demigods looked over the side rails at the water.

The natural movement of the ocean had stopped.

Both girls looked back at each other. The angry scowl on Thalia's face deepened as she made the connection as to why the ocean was behaving this way. Annabeth was confused as to why her friend was mad at her and so she went to ask her. Only. She was interrupted by an electrically charged slap.

"You are going to tell me why you thought cheating on Percy was a good idea, right now." The daughter of Zeus growled out. Annabeth rapidly paled as the rest of the Seven came topside to see why the ship slowed down only to watch as she got slapped in the face. Hard. Annabeth could tell by the expressions of their faces that the other members of the Argo II heard exactly what Thalia said.

"I don't know what you are talking about Thalia, I would never cheat on Percy!" Annabeth tried to lie her way out of this problem. Thalia, however, did not let her. She slapped the daughter of Athena again.

"Do not lie to me! Jason and Leo already showed Percy proof of your relationship with that son of Apollo back at camp!" Thalia growled out in the angriest tone any of the crew members have ever heard from her before. Everyone but Thalia, Jason, and Leo gasped and looked at Jason and Leo for confirmation. They both nodded at the same time while Piper looked affronted that neither of them told her about it.

"Percy knows?!" Annabeth half asked and half shouted. Before anyone could respond to her question the ocean erupted as a body was thrown out of it. Another person jumped out, this one no one recognized yet he seemed familiar and looked like Percy. The person thrown landed on the deck across from the Percy look-alike. It was Percy. Both Percy and the look-alike had their weapons drawn. And both were bleeding from numerous yet small wounds.

"That was a great throw, Triton!" The Demigod of the Sea said to his older brother.

"I'm aware, little brother" The Prince of the Sea responded with a smirk before jumping towards Percy with an overhead strike primed to hit. Percy raised his sword with one hand and effortlessly parried the gods trident before responding with a strike aimed towards the gods non-dominant arm, landing a deep gash across his forearm. Trident smirked at the glancing blow and decked Percy across the face, sending the young Demigod flying into the side railing. With a sickening impact, Percy slammed into the railing, though he stood up like it was nothing, shocking the group watching the fight.

As Percy was standing up Triton was already dashing towards his younger brother with his trident primed for a stab. Annabeth was worried that Percy wouldn't be able to block or dodge the stab when he suddenly dropped Riptide, letting the sharp blade embed about 3 inches into the deck, and catching the middle prong of the trident. Percy then punched Triton in the same manner before forcing the gods' weapon into the deck. With both Princes disarmed they resorted to a boxing match. The two sons of Poseidon went to punch each other, before they started laughing hard. Why? Annabeth thought to herself. Why would they be laughing after fighting each other? Unknown to Annabeth, everyone else had already figured it out. This fight was simply how the two brothers bond. As the fight between brothers ended, Annabeth suddenly became aware of a powerful presence focused entirely on her. She looked around to see if she could tell where it was coming from, when her eyes fell upon the green eyes of the god her boyfriend, or at least she hoped he still was, just fought staring at her with nothing but pure hatred in his eyes before he looked back at his brother and the feeling left her.

Nonetheless Annabeth was scared. Everyone aboard the vessel now knows of her cheating.

Percy enjoyed his little bout with his older brother. It really helped him release all the pent up anger he had since learning the truth. Though now Percy did not know how to address the situation with his soon to be ex-girlfriend. He had seen that Thalia of all people had confronted Annabeth when he was mid-air after being thrown out of his domain. After sharing a look of appreciation with Triton, who then jumped back into the ocean, he turned to look at the assembled group of both the Seven and the Hunters who must have come topside after sensing the godly presence. He saw the pitying looks his friends gave him as his gaze rolled over the group of demigods. Thankfully, Jason interrupted Annabeth before she could speak,

"Hey Percy, would you like to spar with Nico, Frank, and I down in the training room?" The son of Jupiter asked with a hopeful expression on his face. Percy couldn't help but grin at his cousin for such an easy way out of dealing with the daughter of Athena.

"That would be great Jase, I'm still a little adrenaline pumped from my spar with Triton." Percy said as he began to follow the trio of demigods to the stairs that lead to the lower levels of the Argo II. As he passed Annabeth, she reached out and grabbed his arm, just so happening to grasp onto one of the small cuts on his bicep, before he shrugged her off and left her with a single sentence.

"I guess you were right all those years ago Annabeth, Children of Athena and Poseidon don't mix." The Demigod son of Poseidon said with an almost lifeless tone as he continued down the stairs. He didn't notice the look of absolute anguish on the daughter of Athena's face nor did he notice the looks of pure shock at what he just said from everyone else.

6 months after the Fall, Somewhere, Someplace ~

She was scared. She got sucked into a vision of Percy in Hell again. This time he seemed to be alone, there was no sign of his strange friend that traveled with him. She instantly noticed the hastily bandaged wounds littered over Percy's chest and back. He seemed to be running from something She couldn't see, though she could hear it's voice taunting her friend.

"Well, well, well. Hello son of Poseidon, you won't escape me this time and once I am done with you I'll hunt down your whore mother and take my time ripping her apart, after I have some fun of course." This was followed by large footsteps that seemed to shake the ground. Percy stopped the instant he heard this.

"That was the last mistake you will ever make Polybotes!" The Savior of the Greeks said in such an angry town that even the beast hunting him seemed to flinch. Then Percy raised his hand and the beast started screaming in pain. But Percy wasn't doing anything. Then She realized what Percy was doing.

He was controlling Polybotes blood.

Sorry about the long wait. I had a small burst of writer's block that was thankfully cured by the help of some advice from my fellow author's Discord server. So I send my thanks to CombatTombat and the rest of great authors on his server. I know I haven't really dropped too many clues on who She is, but does anyone have any guesses yet?
