Charles began to tell Molly all about his promotion and that he was now training future officers at Sandhurst which he was completely enjoying, despite all the paperwork remaindering her off the comment he had made on their first date about a desk job not being his bag, his biweekly counselling sessions, Sam being doing really well with rugby at school and was deciding on what secondary school he wanted to go to and Rebecca wanted him to go to boarding school which both him and Sam didn't really want, but he left out the fact Rebecca had revised the custody agreement, his parents buying a villa out in Lake Garda. Molly smiled at Charles thinking to her how much Charles looked so much the man she had married, until she realised she hadn't spoken "

You look like you're doing good Charles, do you still speak to anyone from 2 section?' she asked hoping he wouldn't say he was still in touch with her

"I occasionally speak to Kingy, but the other lads no, I felt like a disappointment to them, especially when it came to us and how I threw what we had away." Said Charles

"What about Georgie?" Molly asked not wanting to really know the answer

"Nope" Charles said in a quiet but firm voice.

Molly visible relaxed just as her Nan came back in with a couple of Costas coffees, "none for you yet Molls, doctors orders" Liz said to Molly poking her tongue out to show Molly she was just joking

"Good job I don't like Coffee anyway Nan" returning a cheeky grin to her Nan

When Liz passed Charles his coffee she said "surprised to see you still alive Charlie boy, take it yous two have had a chat about things then"

"Just had a general chat about what been happening with us that's all Nan" replied Charles

For the rest of the day they had chatted about what the rest of the lads where up to and Charles was surprised that finger's was going to get married in a few months.

Molly had been at the Queen Elizabeth for 3 weeks now, the only time Charles had left Molly's side was when the lads and Jackie visited her as he wasn't sure on their reaction so every time Jackie and the lad visited he made his excuses and left them to catch up, he did thank Eggy and Brains for everything they had done for Molly, which they said they were just doing their jobs and it was Molly.

Charles parents was frequent visitors whilst Molly was in hospital, Ana and Henry was very fond of Molly, they were devastated when their son and Molly had split although they tried not to take sides even when they found out about Charles and Georgie, but seeing how Charles rushed to Molly's side after being shot, they had hoped this was the start of them making amends and making a fresh start, but they we saddened to realised that Molly's parents hadn't been to visit even though she could of died.

Brains, Dangles and Jackie was on one of their last visit before Molly discharged from hospital, Dangle turned and said "so Molls what's going on with you and Major James?" as they knew he'd been there since she arrived, " he's been great, so much like the old Charlie, he's been really good to my nan, I'm not saying I'm gonna take him back, but we might gonna need to talk" she said, Brains took her hand before he spoke, " Mols, you know we love ya, and will be 100% by your side, but if you and Charles try again we might gonna have a chat with him" in which Dangles and Jackie nodded in agreement.

Jackie and the rest of the lads didn't know the full story except Brains and Fingers who knew the full story as they served with Charles the longest, took Molly's side after they found out what Charles had done but they also realised that they never fully got his side of the story, which they knew they would have to ask him if he and Molly tried to make their marriage work but it Brains and Fingers saw the PTSD first hand, But it was Brains who tried to get Georgie to bring it up as Fingers was stuck in the middle what with him being with Georgie's sister but Georgie ignored him.

Molly had been back from hospital a week and half and although she had spoken to Charles over the phone and face time as he had to get back to work, She was aware they needed to chat probably as she was about to finish her 3 week inpatient rehab at Headley Court; she decided to send him a text

"Molly: Do you fancy meeting up and going for lunch Saturday? M x

Charles: Yes are you sure? C x

Molly: Course we need to talk and that all that, where do you fancy? M x

Charles: How about Park row? I'll book a table for 12:00? I'll pick you up at 11:30 as I know you still can't travel far! C x

Molly: sounds good, see you then Charles! M x

Charles: See you then Molly C x

Molly was surprised by the strange butterfly feeling in her stomach, but decided not to read too much in to the feeling.
