Clint woke up and he found a note on the dresser from Tony. He mentioned that he went down to breakfast and that there was a hiking excursion. Clint groaned and dressed quickly. He brushed his teeth and splashed some water on his face and he went down to meet Tony to find him at Stacy and Bob's table.

"Good morning Clyde, join us," Bob said, sliding over when he saw Clint approaching with his tray. He grabbed a protein bar, a banana and an orange juice, while Tony had eggs and bacon and avocado toast. Clint sat down and nodded hello to everyone and he focused on the food in front of him.

"Rough night?" Bob asked.

"Yeah I didn't sleep too well," Clint said and Tony glared at him because he was the one who didn't sleep well.

"I'm worried about our son. He hasn't been in touch since Eddie drove him away," Clyde said.

"Are we gonna do this here?" Tony asked Clint.

"He hasn't called in weeks, because the last time he called you were grilling him about school," Clyde said clearly agitated with him.

Tony was about to respond when Janelle got the group together to go on this hike.

"I need everyone to follow me. We're going to explore the island today and do some healthy relationship exercises,"

"Will there be better reception outside because I can't get a signal anywhere in this damn place," Tony said.

"That's funny," Ivan said as he came up behind them.

"Didn't you say you work in tech?" he asked.

"Yeah well I didn't bring my best phone. Clyde talked me out of it," Tony said glaring at him.

Pepper turned on the news again and a chill went through her. That prison riot resulted in a break out and they retrieved all but two prisoners.

Maybe I should pack up the kids and head up to my moms? Pepper thought for a brief moment. There is no way anyone would be able to get into this house. We're fine. That prison is an hour away by car. Pepper shook it off and went back to her usual routine.

Janelle led the group down a trail and they were taking turns saying one thing they love about their partner and it was getting closer to their turn but Clint was eavesdropping on Ivan's phone with the earpiece Tony gave him. He was meeting a jewels dealer somewhere on this hike and Clint was going to hang back and follow him. He was about to go off the trail when Janelle asked him a question.

"I'm sorry what?" he asked.

"Your husband, what's one thing you love about him?" she asked.

Clint was caught off guard. He had to hand it to Tony; he was really blending in and being a good husband. He embraced his role.

"I would have to say his brilliant mind," Clint said.

"And what about you Eddie? What one thing do you love about Clyde?"

"His love and devotion to our family of course," Tony said.

And the whole group around them was cooing and he could hear lots of "aww's" from around them.

"Very good. Let's continue on this way," she said, heading back up to the front.

Clint moved up and got Tony's attention. He pointed to his phone and Tony looked at the text Clint sent. He was explaining that he was going to drop off the group to follow Ivan. Tony nodded and continued with the group. They got to a steeper part of a hilly cliff and Tony tripped and went rolling down roughly. He felt scrapes and bumps along the way and when he landed he felt the sharpest pain of all as something scraped him.

Clint was hidden in the brush a few feet behind and he watched as this man pulled out a bag of jewels and Ivan inspected them.

"I'm interested.I bring the money on Monday," Ivan said.

"We will meet at the gazebo on the south east side," the man said.

"Six pm sharp,"

Ivan nodded and disappeared.

Clint hurried to get back to the group and he could see everyone was looking down and he could see Tony on the ground curled up. Clint hurried down the hill and he could see that Tony was all cut up.

"What the hell happened?" he asked.

"I tripped and I rolled down this hill and my leg is on fire," Tony said.

"Don't move. I have a first aid kit in my bag," Clint said as he took it out and cleaned all of Tony's cuts and scrapes and he bandaged the wound on his leg so gently. Tony winced as Clint helped him up.

"You're so gentle. Pepper used to fix me up like that when she was my assistant,"

"You know how many scraped knees I bandaged? I got kids," Clint said.

They walked back towards the resort for much needed rest and relaxation. They didn't have to make any moves until Monday at least.
