Tori's POV
I'm fed up of people keeping me tied to a fucking leash. It makes me mad. "I'm going to Jade's. Is that a problem?" I said and walked out of the living room. Jade texted me that she was outside so I walked towards the door. "Tell Trina I'll see her tomorrow." I said, reaching for the doorknob. He stopped me by putting his hand on my shoulder. "Wait a second." He said and Jade knocked on the door. "I've got to go." I said and got into Jade's car. I really don't want to talk about this now. We went to Jade's and sat in the living room. We ordered a pizza and waited for it to arrive. "So, how's the writing going along?" I asked and the pizza arrived. I ran to the door and paid for the pizza. "It's not. Andre, Beck and Robbie are writing me a song." Jade smirked. "That's clever." I said. About an hour later, we were making snowflakes and listening to music on Jade's speaker. I heard the key turn in the lock. "That's your mom." I said. "Oh well, she's gonna have to deal with the fact that you're here." Jade said. "She hates me. She'll be downright pissed if she sees me here." I said. "Tori. You're my best friend. My parents need to realise that so it doesn't matter if I get caught having you over." Jade said. "O-okay." I said unsure. "Jadelyn, we're home." Mr West yelled. "Oh god." Jade said. She wasn't scared though. "I should get going it's...8:35p.m." I said. "Jadelyn, what are you doing up there?" Mr West asked. "What now?" I asked. Mr and Mrs west walked up the stairs. Mr West kicked the door open and saw us cutting bits of paper up. I looked up and Mr West looked angry. "Jadelyn!" He yelled. "What?" Jade hissed. "I should get going." I said, standing up. "No, you won't. They have to learn to deal with it." Jade hissed at her parents. Her parents have never liked me. "What have I said?" Mr West asked. "I don't want you hanging out with this girl." Mr West said. "She's too prissy. You need to listen to us. She's bringing you down. We raised you better than this." Mrs West said. "Obviously we didn't." Mr West said. "I bet Jadelyn feels sorry for you." Mrs West said. "Excuse me?" I hissed at her. "You heard me, you little slut." Mrs West said. "HEY!" Jade screamed. "Jadelyn, don't use that tone with your mother." Mr West said. "Or you will regret it." Mrs West said threateningly. "Now, why the hell is that little whore here?" Mr West asked. "I'm not a whore." I said. "Shut up, Sket." Mr West. "Dad! Stop it!" Jade growled. "That little whore should get a boob job." Mrs West said. "Mom! Tori has been more of a family to me than you and dad ever will be!" Jade screamed. "Jadelyn West! Do not speak to your mother like that!" Mr West hissed. He grabbed Jade and pushed her into the wall. "Stop it!" I screamed at him. "When you get married at 25, you will lose all beauty. Oh wait, you're not beautiful now." Mrs West said. It is now 8.50. "Jade, I'm gonna get going." I said. "I'll walk you out. Dad, you're an asshole." Jade said. Mr West picked up a glass bottle and threw it in our direction. It hit me just above my right eye, painfully digging into my skin. I walked out and sat on Jade's front porch. "I can drop you off or do you wanna call Beck?" Jade asked. "Can you drop me off?" I asked. She nodded and we got in the car. "Thanks for letting me come round tonight." I said. "No problem. I'm sorry about my jerk face of a father." Jade said and kept her eyes on the road. I told her it was okay and she pulled up outside my house. She stopped the car. "I'm sure he'll be okay about it." Jade said. Beck came out and knocked on Jade's window. Jade wound her window down. "Oh, hey Beck. Is Trina home?" I asked. Beck shook his head and we walked into the house together. I think I need to come clean.
