A/N: omg I've been neglecting this fic! Ok, here's chapter two!

When Jasey woke up that morning, she noticed two things:

one: the bus had stopped moving, meaning they'd arrived in Jersey.

Two...there was something -or someone-poking her cheek. That someone was Alex Gaskarth, looking more awake at 10am than she'd ever seen him. He wore a Cheshire Cat-like grin.
"Rise and shine, Jasey! We're in the lovely land of New Jersey!"

Groaning, she sat up in her bunk, rubbing sleep from her eyes.
"Dude, it's Jersey. Why are you so excited!?"

Stepping back so Jasey could get out of her bunk and take the coffee Rian handed her. Alex held two fingers up.
"First up, show tomorrow. Second up... today we're gonna go check out the old camp."

Jasey tried to ignore the chill she felt...and told herself that it was steam from her coffee she was seeing, not her own breath.
'Nope...no chills here.' She thought, refusing to acknowledge it. 'That would mean ghosts and nope, that's not happening'

She ABSOLUTELY didn't hear a distinctly not male voice say "...Winchesters!"

She swatted the air next to her ear. Mosquitos. That was it. Mosquitos…in a tour bus.

No ghosts.

"We should at least do an equipment check before we go exploring." Jasey suggested

The stage had been set up the day before. Equipment was being arranged today.

"God you're so boring! Ugh fine but I know it's just 'cause you wanna hear my beautiful voice!" Alex joked.

Jack came in from the back lounge, Zack on his heels.
"Naw man, I think she's more into the guitarist if ya know what I mean!" he said, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and giving her a peck on the cheek.
Jasey scoffed and rolled her eyes, playfully shoving him away.
"You Wish, Barakat." She said, handing him his favorite purple electric. It was his favorite guitar. He'd just never admit that it was his favorite because Jasey had bought it for him on one of their stops on Warped Tour.

It took a good 10 more minutes to herd the energetic band out of the bus and to the newly built stage so Jasey could start marking where mics and speakers were going to go.

The speakers hummed to life, and Jasey was quite content to ignore the soft voice she heard that clearly said

'Leave.'

She backed away from the speaker and went to the tech booth

Focusing on what she was doing she hit the PA button.
"Ok, um...first Guitar amp test... Jack, gimme a couple chords." She cringed at how shaky she sounded.

'He'll kill you all!'

"Stop!" Jasey said, slamming her headphones on, just in time to miss the sound coming from the speakers.

"How'd that sound?" Jack asked into his mike.

"Huh? I missed it. Can we try it again?" Jasey asked. There are no ghosts. There's nothing supernatural going on. It was stress. Had to be.

Jack played his chords. The final reverberated and grew louder. Everyone covered their ears. The lights shined and popped overhead. A speaker exploded.

"Well...that was...um..." Jasey stammered.

"Just say Jack sucks so bad at guitar that the speakers put themselves out of their misery" Zack joked, speaking into his mic while making sure his bass was still in one piece.

"Just a sec, guys, gonna see what happened."
'Shitshitshit'

Jasey pushed her bangs off her forehead. Allowing herself a small meltdown as she was alone in the booth. "FUCK!" She shouted.
There could NOT be anything supernatural going on here. That meant Hunters. Hunters who would know her or her father, or worse, Dean himself would show up.

She listened to the playback. Before everything went sideways. There was something in the feedback. A quick isolation, raise the volume, and...

"Call them. Killer here. Winchesters."

She stormed out of the booth, pausing only to take her headphones off. She stomped over to Alex.

"I think I could use a break. Where is that camp?" She said quickly, trying not to show how close she was to losing it.

"Uhh…Just across the lake. Wanna go?" Alex asked, eying her as though she'd sprouted a second head. She nodded curtly.

The boys handed their instruments over to their respective techs and shuffled off stage.
"You ok?" Zack asked cautiously, pulling Jasey back to walk with him. He always could sense when someone needed to talk.
"I'm good. I just always get jumpy before a show. That's all." Jasey forced herself to smile at him, but she knew it didn't reach her eyes.

"Gimme ten minutes, I gotta stop by the bus." She told the guys, her voice a bit softer.
Arriving back to the bus she immediately went to her bag and pulled out the lock box she kept hidden there. There were only three things in it, same as when Dean handed it to her years ago: a Colt 1911 with consecrated rounds in its clip, a burner phone with one number saved, and an anti-possession pendant on a delicate silver chain.

'Look, kid, I know you want to leave this life behind you, but you need me, you call. Got it? And if I can't get there in time, I know you know how to use this.' Dean handed her the lock box, placing his favorite pistol and a burner phone in it. Jasey swore then and there she'd never use any of these. She was breaking free of the life that had killed her mother and had made John Winchester into someone who was worse than dead.

Leaving the gun and phone in their place, she put the necklace on, tucking it into her shirt.
Hopping off the bus, she decided to head into the woods to collect her thoughts before heading back to the boys.
She was alone. No disembodied voice, no chill, no band. So why wasn't she feeling any better?

She was so preoccupied by her thoughts she didn't hear the footsteps approaching until a hand clasped down on her shoulder. Without thinking, she grabbed the person's wrist and flipped them over her shoulder. A yelp and a curse later and none other than Jack Barakat lay at her feet, staring up at her in awe.

"When the hell did you learn to do that!?"

"Karate lessons since elementary school." She replied, helping him to his feet. "What the hell are you doing here? What does 'alone' mean to you?"

"Babe, I've seen you stressed. This is not normal pre-festival stress or even "The boys are being stupid and annoying" stress you're under. Something's up." Jack said, rubbing his shoulder. "Shit, that hurt."

"That's why you don't sneak up on people, you doofus." Jasey glared, putting a hand on his hurt shoulder to make sure she hadn't hurt him. "I think you'll live."

"Yeah, it's all my fault. Cuz I totally knew you'd throw me over your shoulder like a psycho." Jack grumbled. "'Scuse me for trying to be nice."

Jasey giggled. Standing on tiptoes to give him a kiss on the cheek. "You're sweet. I appreciate the concern. Sorry I've been acting crazy. Where's the others? Let's go see this creepy old camp."

"Nah, they're all a bunch of wusses. Too many stories of teens going to the camp and never coming back."

Jasey wasn't letting them off that easy, especially since now she needed an excuse to investigate this place with a hunter's eye.
"Uh-uh...Alex wanted to see the camp, we're seeing the goddamned camp."
She walked back up the trail to the bus, where Alex, Rian and Zack were goofing around.

"You guys coming with us to check out the camp or not?" Jasey asked, keeping her voice light and casual.

"Nahhh." Alex said, speaking for the other two as well. We're gonna hang here and not get murdered."

Jasey rolled her eyes and scoffed. "Whatever. Your loss. Me and Jack are gonna go and see if the counselors left any booze behind and we're not sharing with you."

Laughing, she and Jack started walking back up the trail that led to the lake.

As they trekked, Jasey heard movement nearby. There was something she could barely see out of the corner of her eye. Following them.

Just Alex being a little shit she told herself. And lo and behold, the selfsame boy chose that moment to jump out of the bushes.

Nearly an hour later, they found the deserted cabins. The earth had already begun to reclaim them. Ivy smothered the buildings. Grass hid any car paths. Wooden poles were crumbling where they stood

"Dudeee this is gnarly." Alex said, peering into one of the cabins. Jasey was on edge-hunter's senses kicking in-but she was relieved that there were no signs of that Jersey Devil she and Sam had run into when they were thirteen.

'Not the right territory' she remembered.

She felt something move beneath her foot. It was the slightest of steps. Jasey looked down and realized she'd stepped on a trip wire.

'hey, disembodied voice that's probably a spirit…wanna tell me what I'm dealing with?' She thought idly, senses on alert for whatever the wire activated.

She lifted her foot, and nothing happened. The wire was old, and probably didn't work anymore. Maybe left here by a hunter.

"Guys, I have a bad feeling." Jasey commented

"What? Scared already?" Alex remarked

'He's coming.' The voice whispered

"Guys this place is lame. Let's go." Jasey grabbed Jack's hand and dragged Alex away from the window he was peering through. "Plus, we're not supposed to be here. If we get caught, we get arrested and they'll have to get, like, Nickelback on stage instead of All Time Low."

"Well, Shit. When you put it that way..." Alex ran off, further into the camp.

"I'm going to head back to the bus." Jack commented

"I'll keep an eye on dumb dumb and make sure he doesn't give himself tetanus or something." Jasey sighed, letting go of Jack's hand and following Alex, albeit reluctantly. When she finally caught up to him, he was trying to force his way into what looked to be the old camp kitchen.
"You idiot" she hissed, trying to pull him back. "What the hell are you doing!?"

"It's a locked door in an abandoned camp. How can I resist?" Alex said. Jasey grabbed him and slammed his back against the wall.

"Listen! We need to go back." She said, her voice low, her tone serious.

Raising an eyebrow at her, Alex suddenly became serious.
"Something really has you freaked, doesn't it?" He asked, studying her face. Jasey relaxed a little and let him go. She pushed her bangs back from her forehead.
"It's just...trust me...something isn't right about this place. Can't you feel it?"

Alex glanced around the decrepit site. The foliage was so thick, he couldn't see the lake or the sky. He let out a sigh.

"Yeah. It's creepy." He admitted

"It's not just that." She said as they walked up the path towards the entrance. It just feels...I dunno, kind of sinister. Like something doesn't want us here."

She felt a chill, as if something was confirming her suspicions.

"Yeah, I get that feeling too. Can we just get one selfie before we leave?" Alex requested, pulling his phone out.

"You're kidding me." Jasey responded flatly. Alex gave her his patented "puppy eyes". The same one's he'd given her when he'd talked her into going skydiving with him on their Vegas tour stop last year.

She sighed. She had to admit, she hadn't done anything stupid or reckless in a while-not since she and Jack had gotten drunk last year on his 21st birthday and gotten matching Jack Skellington tattoos-his on his chest, hers on her right shoulder blade. Their tattoos had been customized- Jack's was playing his guitar, and Jasey's had the skeleton playing the bass the boys had given her as a Christmas gift two years ago.

'Aw what the hell' she thought.
"Make sure it's a good one, Gaskarth. I need more pics for the gram."

Alex wandered through the camp, phone in front of him. His foot lightly bumped into something hard. He knelt to brush away the leaves and weeds. It was a sign for the camp. Dirty and old, but still legible.

"I need to get a pic with this!" He said, dragging the sign with him to Jasey.

"Camp Crystal Lake." Jasey read

A few goofy pictures later, and Jasey was getting that uncomfortable feeling again. Only this time, it felt like something was watching them, and she was finding herself trying to remember how best to fight off a Jersey Devil.

'Ok Jasey, let's get a little grip on reality here. If there was a Devil around it would have gone after us already. I'm sure it's just that stupid story plus work stress...still, better quit while we're ahead.'

"Huh, that's weird." Alex commented. He held his phone out showing one picture they took. Them, the sign, and one of the cabins behind them.

"Look in the window. Looks like a face." Alex pointed out.

He was partially right. Something was looking out of the window. It looked like a white face, but it didn't look human. Jasey looked behind her at the cabin in question. No face in the window, and an open door.

"Hey, uhm...'Lex? Was that door open before?"

"Huh?" Alex pulled his phone back. "No, doesn't look like it."

A branch snapped nearby. But neither of them could see any wildlife to cause the noise.

The wind blew. Jasey could hear the faintest sound of the mystery voice. It was screaming something. It stopped and she heard only one word. A word she echoed to her friend who looked just as tense as her.

"Run."

They took off up the path, but came skidding to a halt when they saw the path was blocked by a hulking figure dressed in black, save for an old goalie's mask and (more concerning) holding a rusty machete.

"Oh, You gotta be SHITTING ME!" Jasey exclaimed.
Alex was standing there, frozen in fear as the figure started towards them. Jasey put a hand on his shoulder to get his attention. "When I say, run like hell. Don't look back." She tensed for a fight.

She ran towards the figure and took a swing at his gut. She ducked under the blade that came towards him and kicked the thing in the shin. She was rusty, but the training she'd gotten from her dad and the Winchester boys was so ingrained in her that it was basically muscle memory.

"RUN!" She screamed. Alex snapped out of it and obeyed.

The figure was fast and managed to grab Jasey by the neck and throw her to the ground, dazing her for a moment.
"Well...you're not a ghost..." she said, barely dodging a blow from the machete.

"Any chance you wanna tell me your evil plan and backstory?"

She jumped back from his swings. But her luck ran out, her back touched a pine tree. He came upon her too quick to react.

But... something reacted quickly enough. Something pulled Jasey down and away, leaving her helpless to watch the monster of a man cut a decent size chunk out of the tree. Right where her head was.

She stumbled and righted herself, trying to see what saved her.

"Shit." She said softly. The man pulled his machete out of the pine and lumbered towards her.

"SHIT!" She yelled.

She ran through the tangled growth she was once careful to tread through. The vines and branches reached and tore through her clothes and skin. Adrenaline rushed through her veins as she pumped her legs. Not stopping until she found the road.

Arms were thrown around her. She tensed, then relaxed when she realized it was just Alex, who'd stopped running when he got to the road.

"Jesus Christ what the fuck was that!?" Alex asked. He looked worse for the wear-his cheek was cut and his hair was a tangled mess.

"I... I have no idea." Jasey said, mentally checking her list of monsters. No matches for whatever that was.

"Dude...look at your ankle...how are you standing?" Alex pointed at her right foot. Her ankle was already beginning to turn a purplish color and swell.

"Damn it. Didn't even notice." She commented. She patted her pockets. Something was missing.

Alex shook his head. "Remind me to always listen to you."

She ignored the now-familiar voice saying "Winchesters "

She put a hand to her chest trying to catch her breath and immediately realized what was missing. Her necklace must have come off at some point.

"Son of a bitch!" She said, stomping her foot-her bad foot-"ughhh I'm gonna hunt that son of a bitch down!"

"Hey easy!" Alex said, getting under her shoulder so she could lean on him. "Don't go stomping with an ankle like that. Take it easy."

Jasey let out a ragged sigh that was more like an annoyed growl.

"What do you mean hunt?" Alex asked

"Y'know on X-files when they say, "the truth is out there?"

"What are you even-J, did you hit your head?" He looked genuinely concerned. But the floodgates were open and Jasey figured he'd seen what was at the camp. She couldn't really lie to him. She sighed heavily and sat on an old log on the side of the path, gesturing for him to sit.

"What? Was that guy an alien?" Alex asked, "And you're one of the men in black?"

"Kind of?" Jasey replies. "At first, I thought he was a vengeful spirit, but he was solid...so that's a no go. Not the right build or speed for a wendigo... could be a golem but they're rare..."

"Fuuuuck." Alex said, realization hitting him. "Hunting. You hunt things like those? Like that guy?!"

"I used to. Thought I was done with all that. But apparently not. Listen...no one else can know about this. Got it?"

"Cool. Cool. Coolcoolcoolcoolcool." Alex quickly said, mostly to himself.

"If it helps, I don't think...whatever that was... leaves the camp. It might be protecting it... from something."

"Something like what?" Alex was taking this new information in stride, and seemed genuinely interested.

"I gotta make some calls..." she said with a groan.

"To the cops, right?" Alex asked.

"Cops won't know what to do with this. I'm gonna need to call in some friends." Jasey explained.

"Hunter friends? So, if I tell anyone, will you kill me?" Alex asked, only half joking.

"I won't..." Jasey said, emphasizing the "I", causing Alex to gulp.

They walked back up the road to where the buses were parked, Alex supporting Jasey as she limped on her ankle. When they made it to their bus, it was mercifully empty. A note was stuck to the door of the lounge.

"Lucky us." Alex said, smiling at the note written in Jack's untidy handwriting. "Forever The Sickest Kids are having a party at their bus, that's where the guys are."

Jasey grabbed the first aid kit from it's spot under Zack's bunk and limped to the back lounge.

"What the hell are we gonna tell the guys?" Alex wondered aloud as he and Jasey sat on the couch, Jasey began wrapping her ankle and trying hard not to go into full on freak out mode.

"I rescued you from rabid fans?" Jasey said with a halfhearted chuckle.

"They're not going to believe that. Shit, I wouldn't believe that." Alex commented. "Maybe we saw a bear?"

"Yeah! Yeah...we saw a bear...and it went after us and I tripped and rolled my ankle..."

Pop!

A lightbulb exploded next to Alex. He fell out of his seat.

"The fuck?!" He yelled

"Ughhhhhh!" Jasey groaned, flopping down onto the couch, allowing herself to throw a tantrum. "NOT FUCKING NOW!"
"Did that...uh...did that have anything to do with our scary friend at the camp?" Alex asked.

"No, I think this is something different. I'm telling you, I don't think that guy leaves the camp." Jasey reassured him.

Her phone started to ring and vibrate. She pulled it out. The screen glitched and pulsed. The words "call them" kept flashing and repeating themselves.

"Stop it!" She screamed, throwing her phone. Just as Jack, Zack and Rian entered the lounge.
"What the hell is happening back here!?" Rian asked, dodging the phone, which clattered against the wall behind him.

Preparing herself for the barrage of questions (and knowing these guys, innuendo) Jasey grabbed two ibuprofen from the first aid kit and swallowed them dry.
"What happened to you!?" Jack asked, pointing to Jasey's ankle.

"Well, there was this pack of girls with shirts that said, 'Jack and Alex are my OTP' and they chased us as we left the camp." she began with a grin.

Amongst the thorns and branches hung Jasey's necklace. The hulking creature grabbed it effortlessly. He glared in the direction she went. He went to an abandoned school bus and opened the hatch leading into his underground tunnel. He passed the bells that alerted him to intruders. But their tunes were not heard.

The man walked into his room where a figure sat in a chair, shuffling tarot cards, and whistling "pop goes the weasel". The man went to the figure's side and dropped the necklace into his outstretched hand.

The figure examined it in the dim candlelight. They took a big whiff and started to chuckle.

"A Hunter." The figure spoke. "This'll be good. Pulling this off under the nose of a Hunter will make this so much more fun. Of course, not as fun as taking her off the playing field." The figure stood, still looking at the necklace. They glanced over their shoulder at the hulking figure in the hockey mask.

"Pack a lunch, kid. Tomorrow, you're going on a little field trip."
