Later that day, Raven had been called out behind the school by Dexter.
"I like you, Raven," said Dexter as he blushed a little while standing before the purple haired witch. As he spoke, he was looking down at the ground, too nervous and embarrassed about confessing to meet her eyes.
"I… I don't know if I'm the person you were talking about at lunch, but I couldn't keep quiet after hearing it, so that's how I feel about you," he said.
"Oh boy, what should I say?" thought Raven. The expression she was making was one of shock and worry, there were no traces of any embarrassment of happiness to be seen for her.
"Um, I also went ahead and got tickets for a movie this Satinday, if… if you're free that is," said Dexter as he got two tickets out of his pocket and held them out.
"Guess I've got no choice," thought Raven as she forced a smile.
"I'd love to see a movie with you, Dexter," she said while taking one of the tickets from him. Unbeknownst to the two of them, Apple had been watching them from behind a tree.
"What is this feeling?" thought the blonde princess as she held her hands to her chest. That night, as Raven and Apple were preparing for bed.
"Hey Apple, can I ask you for a favor?" asked Raven.
"Sure, what do you need?" asked Apple who already had a feeling what it could be.
"I actually have a date on Satinday, and I was wondering if you can help me get ready for it that day, I don't actually know what outfit I should wear," said Raven.
"Of course, I will, but do you mind me asking who it's with?" asked Apple, trying her best to not let Raven in on the fact she had spied on her and Dexter.
"It's with Dexter," said Raven. Once again, the princess could feel a sharp pain in her heart at the mention of the Charming Sibling's name, but she still had no clue why she felt it.
"Alright, well where are you two going, if you need help finding an outfit I'll need to know so we can tell if you need to be formal or comfortable," said Apple, giving the witch a forced smile of her own while hiding her true thoughts.
