A little while later, Raven had returned to her and Apple's room.

"Raven, what are you doing back so early?" asked a surprised Apple who had been sitting on her bed reading a magazine.

"The date didn't go so well," said Raven, unable to tell the blonde the truth.

"What, I'm so sorry to hear it," said Apple while putting down her magazine and standing to head over to the witch.

"If you don't mind me asking, what happened?" she asked while the two headed over to the witch's side of the room who had started to take her jacket off and hang it up before kicking her boots off.

"Nothing felt right, my magic even shocked him a little when he touched my hand," said Raven, covering up the fact that it also froze everyone around them which she had undone while leaving the cinema.

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that," said Apple. At the same time, she was feeling sorry for the witch, the blonde couldn't help but also feel happy that Dexter was going to take her away from her.

"But Dexter and I agreed to stay friends at least," said Raven while grabbing some clothes to change into and a bottle of shampoo from her dresser.

"That's great news, and I'm sorry that it didn't work with the guy you liked," said Apple.

"Oh, it's not Dexter that I like, I just didn't want to hurt his feelings, so I agreed to go out with him," said Raven as she headed to get a shower. As soon as the bathroom door was shut, the witch leaned with her back against it.

"Ugh, why can't I just come out and tell her?" she thought while lightly hitting the back of her head off the door. As that was happening, a stunned Apple had moved over to her bed where she sat down staring at the floor.

"Does… does this mean that I still have a chance with her?" thought Apple while falling backwards to look at the ceiling. She then closed her eyes while placing her hands over her heart.

"Alright, I have to tell her tomorrow, I can't just keep hiding my feelings," she thought while opening her eyes with a serious expression on her face.
