Chapter 8

Tyrone went downstairs and he had his jacket on. A green one that combined well with his yellow scarf. Matt on the other hand only wore his orange hoodie and he was already on top of Bubbles outside. The Mothman was beside the hermit crab, speaking to him in a different language. The language they spoke in was not a language Tyrone was familiar with. He had heard other languages besides Spanish, but he never heard this one.

"I'm going to Tyrone. It's for your own good!" said Matt, retaliating Tyrone's words.

"You kid." said Tyrone, rolling his eyes and shaking his head.

"The journey to Mt. Hood will have many risks. Are you two ready for what's to come?" asked the Mothman.

"We'll be prepared for anything," said Tyrone.

"Yeah! No bad guy is going to beat us!" said Matt, puffing out his chest with pride.

"Before you two depart, you must do something first. You will probably need another person in your party of two." said the Mothman.

"Another person? You mean a Sword Warrior?" asked Tyrone.

"No. Someone ordinary and someone with a very open mind." said the Mothman. He then handed Tyrone a small piece of paper with an address and a name.

"You have to be kidding me." said Tyrone, reading it and shaking his head.

Matt took a peek and went back dramatically. "What?! No way! Isn't she like not supposed to know about you know what?" asked Matt.

"The forest. You said humans aren't supposed to know. Are you sure about this one?" asked Tyrone.

The Mothman nodded and Tyrone realized his decision was final. He put the piece of paper in his pocket and smiled. "I'll trust your decision," said Tyrone.

With that, Bubbles made some clicking noises and went on into the snowy town.

"Watch it Bubbles! We don't want to be seen!" cried Tyrone.

"In this weather, who would even think of going out!?" cried out Matt.

"Us. Obviously." said Tyrone.

"Oh. Yeah." replied Matt.

The boys then started to laugh and smile as Bubbles took off. The Mothman watched from afar and placed his hands together.

"You two will bring happiness to our forests someday. I just know. But I could also be wrong. What if my predictions were wrong?" said the Mothman to himself.
