Keefe's POV, at night:

Darker. Darker. Shadows.

Is Biana safe? is she? I need to know- I have to know- Oh, Tam. She will be. Stop worrying.

Keefe sneaked out of his room and looked around. What room is Biana's? and Fitz's, of course. The Vackers need to know-

He shredded the shadows all around him.

Suddenly, Sophie poked her head out of her room.

"Keefe?"

"Why Keefe? I mean, yeah. Hey. I'm Keefe, the king!"

It was very, very hard to add, "Of stupid, messy, dirty hair".

But, he was Tam, using his ability. An ability that his Shade powers have given him. Who knew that suddenly, Keefe had that much shadowvapour that Tam could teleport inside him?

Well, too bad for Funkyhair, he could. Try to fight me off, Keefe!

Wait. What? No. He was Keefe. Someone else was here. Fight them off.

This is my head! Doctor Creepy, get out of here! He shouted in his mind.

All right, Silly! I will! But Is Biana- and Fitz, The voice hastily added, all right?

Who are you? Keefe asked.

T- Your worst nightmare. The stupid, familiar, annoying voice in his head answered.

Tam? Keefe wondered.

The voice - Tam - didn't answer.

TAMMY BOY! Keefe shouted.

The voice left. Keefe felt that his head was clearer.

Creepy. If Tam could control him using his shadowvapour- he might make Keefe say something stupid, and- argh! he hated Tam so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so. so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, much.

"Keefe? Are you okay?" Sophie asked when Keefe began grinding his teeth.

"Nothing," he answered. "What are you doing in the middle of the night?" He asked her instead.

"I heard something. It heard like.. an imparter when someone's calling. In my room."

"Oh?" Keefe followed her into his room.

Foster pointed to a pile of stuff. There was a buzzing sound, in the center.

Keefe gathered lots of mental shadows, which, wasn't hard at all because of Tammy Boy, and commanded, "Find!" He pictured an imparter because it had to be an imparter.

Suddenly, a square flew out of the stack, and it wobbled. It toppled right at Foster, so Keefe used telekinesis to stop it. "Thanks," she said and grabbed the imparter from the air.

Foster answered it.

"Jolie?" a voice asked, and an image of Brant, but much more handsome flashed on the screen.

Sophie's POV

Sophie froze. She wasn't even sure that she was breathing, but knew when Keefe told her, "Breath, Foster."

Sophie blinked. "B- brant?"

"Yes," he said and frowned. "You're not Jolie."

"I thought- You're dead!"

"I'm not," Brant answered them. "Are you Jolie's sister? You look alike, somehow.. but I never knew that she had a sister..."

"Umm... but you're dead," Keefe said, thinking.

"No. I heard of my brother's death a few months ago. His name was Broant. Can't say that I was sad."

"So... You had a brother named Broant-" Keefe smirked- " and he died. You're the 'better' brother?"

"I assume so, yes. My brother also fell in love with her, too, and when he confessed to her, she said no, and he killed her. she told me, 'If you whisper my name into my imparter, I might come back.'"

"Yes," A projection, kind of like a ghost of a blonde woman said, "And it worked! I have to send my thanks to Tinker."

"Jolie," Brant whispered. The ghost/projection of Jolie floated to their side.

"Brant. And you must be the Moonlark!"

Sophie blinked. "Y-yes... How are you here?"

"I left my imparter in the Neverseen's hideout when they were planning to kill me." Jolie beamed. "And now I get to meet the Moonlark and her friend!"

"Okay," Keefe said, shaking off his shock.

"I'm Lord Hunkyhair. But my loyal friends call me Keefe." He smirked.

"Jolie, we have to get out of here," Sophie hissed because she could see the sun slowly rising.

"Ah. I will help you, if only you will bring my imparter with you, so I can go see Brant. I will tell you where he lives when we get back." Jolie said, disappearing. "For now I must go, the Neverseen are coming."

Brant flashed away too, and the imparter bumped down in her hand. Sophie hadn't known that the imparter was floating.

"Strange," she murmured.

"Tell me about it," Keefe replied.

A moment later, The Neverseen came in, so Jolie was right (could she tell the future?), somehow.

"Wow. You guys are inseparable. It's gross." Gethen gagged, and Ruy mimicked barfing. The Neverseen were oh-so annoying.

Lady Gisela clicked her tongue at Gethen and Ruy. "What are you doing here, son?"

"Um. I... was sleepwalking." To Sophie, Keefe's answer sounded more like a question. "You still sleepwalk? I thought you got over it." Gisela sighed. In normal circumstances, she would've teased Keefe. But now wasn't the time.

"What do you want?" Sophie demanded.

"Come with us."

They walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked. (Ah- I know, right? It just means that they were walking a very, very long time.)

And then, finally, they came to... "A clearing?"

"Of course. To practice your polygot instinct." Beside her, Keefe winced at Lady Gisela's words. Sophie squeezed his hand.

Because the Neverseen was making Keefe even more powerful.

So, you might think I'm evil. Nope! This is a loose cliffhanger. It's not really bad... if you want more Sokeefe, there would be tons more in the next chapter. Sorry! It's not out! (Unless you are a future reader) so, you gotta wait! too bad, so sad. I know that I already mentioned this, but thank you, thank you to Bianagirl1020. Bye!
