Keefe
As we were heading out, I spotted something...
A-
A brown book!
I grabbed it. I read the first caption:
So, somehow I have this. Don't ask. Also, don't expect me to be all "Dear diary" on this. I guess this would be my journal-
Wednesday, 8
So, I'm ditching right now- I mean, what else to do? Lady Belva is the worst :) Hold on- there's a newbie coming toward me- better say hi, then- This girl looks different...
Thursday 9
Okay, so, that girl was a hippie- she had, like, golden hair, golden-brown eyes, and, sassy. I mean, when I said, "You must be lost", she was like "What makes you think that" And DUH! I'm the king of ditching, so... yeah. And then, I had to take her to the healing center, and, wow, her burn was BIG. I would be crying for sympathy- FOR SYMPATHY. Nothing hurts me.
Wow. Past-me is so underestimated. LOTS of things hurt me.
"Keefe?" Foster asked. "We have to go."
"Okay, one sec," I said, as I closed the brown book and hurried after them.
"The entrance is over here," Edaline told us.
Then I remembered something. "Foster, do you have the imparter? With Jolie in it?" I asked her.
"Jolie," Edaline repeated. "what does Jolie have to do with anything?" Edaline wondered. 'We'll tell you later," Foster told her. "first, we have to get out of here." Edaline didn't argue, but I noticed that she has a million questions in her head.
"Edaline? Sophie?" Came a voice.
"Grady!" Foster cried.
"Kiddo?"
Grady. And beside him, there was, Chan, Linh, Marrella, Dex, daddio, (Surprisingly) and Della and Vacker. (Aah- Della and Vacker? Sorry- I'm in french class now, and my head is mixed up)
And Della and Alden.
Besides them, there was a beam of light.
"Come in the light!" Alden called to them.
Without hesitation, they jumped into the beam.
But, just as Sophie and I were going to jump in the beam, it closed off, and we jumped into the exit of the cave.
We'd lost the beam.
I keep forgetting to write this every day. Okay- Back to Keefe POV (Although it had been before).
KEEFE
We ran as fast as we can, away from the Neverseen's cave entrance.
"Where are we?" Foster asked me.
"I don't know," I said, "but I'll get you back."
"Oy! Tiny elves! What are you doing in Heroneral? Don't you know that this place is infested with Ogres?"
I and Foster looked up. There, in front of us, was a towering ogre.
"Ogres," I whispered to Foster. "I know," she whispered back.
The ogre in front of them snorted. "Why shouldn't I kill you right now? Too bad," he added when I opened my mouth.
"Foster," I whispered, "I won't let him hurt you. We'll get through this. I promise." And I strolled toward him. Foster joined me on my other side.
"Haven't you heard of the treaty?" I asked tho ogre, though there wasn't any treaty.
"What treaty? The ogres don't have any treaty with elves," the ogre snorted. "As if."
"No, there is a treaty. The king of ogres- King Dimitar- requested it. He said the ogres and the elves should be nice to each other and have peace. Because he is a wise, and good king," I lied.
"Well. You know why I'm here and not anywhere near Ravagog?" The ogre asked.
"No... Why?" Asked Foster slowly.
"Because we are King Dimitar's rebels. We're not like him and of those snotty ogres. Tie 'em up!" He shouted to the ogres emerging from the village.
"No, wait," Foster quickly said. "we're not King Dimitars likers, either. We are his enemies."
The ogres snorted in unison.
"Yeah, right."
Just then, I saw something coming toward us... It was Wonderboy!
"Back off," he told the ogre.
"Not a chance," The ogre replied.
"Ahem."
A big, fat ogre stepped through the crowd. "Why would we want some puny elves? I mean, what can we do?"
"Of course, master," the first ogre that they'd encountered replied.
"Okay," I whispered to Foster, "let's get out of here."
We made a mad dash away from the ogres. On our way out, I heard the words, "Should've been more grateful" over his shoulder.
"Hurry! In this beam!" Wonder (Not so wonder) boy shouted.
He healed a beam of light and beckoned for Foster and me to join.
A few moments later, they appeared in everglen. "Why not Havenfeild, or Foxfire?" I whined. Why did it have to be Everglen, too shiny than I've remembered? Ro was right. It is a sparkle overload.
Sophie POV
"Because I only have my home crystal, duh!" Fitz replied.
"Well, maybe we should go to Alden. He has a crystal," I said.
"More like millions," Keefe snorted.
I walked toward Everglen's gate, and Keefe joined me.
Fitz gave the gate his DNA, and it swung open.
When I walked toward Everglen, I saw a poster that said, "MATCHMAKERS' SPRING FESTIVAL!
Ask girls or boys to the festivals. Atlantis- MatchDresses, We find dresses perfect for you. Cakes, cupcakes, brownies, juice, mallowmelt, custard bursts, and more! Come with your partner for fun!
FRIDAY !, APRIL"
I knew that both Keefe and Fitz would ask me to the dance.
I also knew that Fitz broke up with Chan. (The daily Atlantis Newspaper- Big breakup- Matchmakers Disappointed on the headline)
I don't want to hurt their feelings- But what could I do? I knew I would pick Keefe. But what dangerous things would Fitz do? Fitzphie or Sokeefe?
Btw, so, For Friday 1, April part- Yes, that's when I'm going to post it (Hopefully) And a cruel cliffhanger. Really, cruel. I hate Fitzphie! Okay so, yeah. this chapter is kinda short for me, but what can I do?
