A blast of icy water struck suddenly towards the unconscious Coran who let out an indignant and fearful cry.

"Ah, let me go!" Coran yelled at the person in his dream when he realized he wasn't dreaming.

The Altean was shrouded in absolute darkness, he could not see anyone within inches of him. The smell was musty and I couldn't hear the sound of the forest.

Just leave with one answer: He is in a cave.

Coran tried to lift his torso a little and get up but suddenly he realized that he was tied hand and foot; this was worse than he imagined. it may have been kidnapped by those furry creatures and waiting for the right moment to eat it.

"Hello...?" However, Coran decided to try calling someone just to find out if he wasn't alone.

"... You've finally woken up." A truly darker female voice echoed in the cave startling poor Coran who was searching for the origin of the voice.

"W-who's there?" dubiously asked the moustached Altean. "I'm sorry for my tone of voice, but I'm very desperate to know where I am, who you are and what I'm doing here. "

"...then you don't know why you are here?" the dark voice asked. "Are you the Xeno that caused that trail of smoke that my partners followed?"

Coran immediately stopped his thoughts as he analyzed the dark woman's sentence. especially the word 'Xeno' did not know much the linguistic term in which that word encompassed but he knew the only species in the universe that used that word a lot.

"Umm ... I think so?" Coran tried to remember but only let out a stressed sigh. "I'm sorry, the truth is that I don't know how I got to this planet. I was doing a flight test, and after that ... a Warp storm emerged, I swallowed and ended up here."

There was only a deathly silence that lasted for a minute and suddenly Coran was assaulted by a spotlight.

His eyes hurt a lot after the sudden glare due to the lack of natural light.

Clearing his eyes a bit, Coran saw that two people were in front of him holding a flashlight; They were both young women who wore military winter garments, the girl on the left had a ghostly appearance with pale skin, her hair was a dull black that completely covered her eyes while a scar covered her right cheek. The other girl was taller than the other but had short brown hair, had brown eyes, and had clips as earrings.

The brown-haired woman carried in her hands a kind of dark green laser weapon with an emblem that Coran recognized immediately.

The two-headed eagle, The Imperial Guard.

Luna

Lucy

Members of The 1216 company of The Valhalla Artic troope.

"I told you." The brunette girl called Luna spoke with a smirk when she pressed a button on her wrist and Coran felt the bindings on her feet open, releasing her legs.

"Oh ... thanks to Altea." Coran felt good to feel his legs move freely and painlessly.

"Don't get up." Luna pointed her rifle at the face of the Altean who cowered in fear. "You still have questions to answer us, Eldar."

Coran was offended at being pointed out wrongly and with a finger pushed the tip of the gun aside to look at the young lady's face. "Excuse me, but you have made a mistake, ma'am. I am not Eldar."

"Ha, and I'm a cultist from Nurgle!" Luna replied sarcastically by re-aiming her laser gun.

"If you were a Nurgle cultist then your face would be full of disgusting diseases and-"

"You know what I'm talking about, Eldar!" the Guardsman girl said irritably.

"I am not a Eldar! I am Altean!" Coran objected again, annoyed at the silly confusion.

"Alteans, Eldar, Dark Eldar. They are all the same!"

"No, they are not. Obviously if you are a Psychic who reads emotions you will know that the Drukhari are malicious creatures to the core and unlike us with the Eldar we have ears shorter than them and do not have Altean birthmarks on their faces. "

"Luna." The dark-voiced, black-haired girl named Lucy spoke. "It's enough; there's no use wasting breath debating what he looks like, all Xenos are the same. "

After a moment, the brunette let out an irritated sigh and lowered the barrel of her gun. "Well, you are right."

"HELLO!" A new voice echoed in the cave. This voice sounded energetic and mocking at the same time.

From the left side of the cave came another woman with the same Arctic outfit of the Imperial guard with her laser weapon hung on her back, she had the same height as her companion and had the same hair color, only this was lighter and was tied to a ponytail.

Luan

Member of the 1216 company of the Valhalla Arctic Troop.

"How are we doing today, Lucy and Luna!" The Luan girl said with a big smile on her face. Then his gaze shifted to the kneeling Coran and his smile seemed to grow larger. "Well, well, well. It seems that our Xeno of the minute has awakened from his astral travel, hehehe, understand? "

"Luan..." Luna began making a little effort not to slap her face. "Was it Lori who sent you?"

"Nope, commissar orders." Luan replied casually by crossing her arm and tilting her face towards a now uncomfortable Coran. "She wants to see Xeno with her own eyes."

"But we are still questioning him." Moon object. "You can't take it yet."

"Well... what I heard when I was on my way I don't know if I can call it' interrogation 'if you ask me." Luan scratched the back of her neck with a somewhat awkward smile. "But there is no need to bother, we can question him together when the commissioner finishes."

"Sigh..." Lucy blurted out and Coran couldn't decipher the feeling she was having.

"Whatever." Luna rolled her eyes and pointed her weapon at the Altean again. "Standing."

"Wait, where are you going to take me?" Coran asked looking around frantically as he was lifted off the hard ground by Luan. "Can you at least tell me where we are and what are you going to do with me?"

"Don't worry, Eldar. Think of this as an interview, an interview to die for, heheheh. " Luan gave what appeared to be an innocent laugh. "You understand…? No…? Your lost."

For Commissar Elizabeth Ventrobi Ciaphas Cain III, her life could be seen as an eternal chain of bad events.

Coming from a long dynasty of military men who faithfully served the empire and the Emperor for centuries in the imperial guard. Elizabeth dedicated her entire existence to being part of that great dynasty with blood, sweat and faith, she had some advantages in her time in the Schola Progenium such as being the goddaughter of the Lady Inquisitor Amberly Vail and being the direct descendant of the unforgettable hero of the Empire: Commissar Ciaphas Cain.

She had the best instruction from the best instructors the empire could afford and from Inquisitor Vail herself. She has managed to excel in all fields and with this she received the praise of the elite of her home world and that made her feel proud like no other, after graduating from the Schola with honors, she began to carry on the legacy of her family against enemies of the empire.

It was there that as she completed her first defensive campaign that things slowly took a nosedive for her.

It happened when the Lady Inquisitor Amberly went to speak with her in private, then began to reveal to Elizabeth that all was not as it seemed when it came to her ancestor Ciphas Cain and his reputation as a Commissioner; there was speculation about how there were several failed attempts to escape from his duties in the imperial guard and he was an expert cajoling who did nothing more than stay on the sidelines while the rest of his platoon were slaughtered by the enemies of the empire.

Elizabeth did not want to believe what her godmother had told her about her ancestor, did she mean that the pride of her offspring was only built on lies and cowardice? That all his effort to wear the mantle of his last name was futile? What was just another commissioner who would only die as another face among the millions of victims the empire suffered at the hands of the Xenos and chaos? She was totally wrong.

And things got worse after that.

Over the next few campaigns, Elizabeth would make a series of fatal tactical mistakes that would cost the Imperial Guard hundreds of thousands of assets and give the enemy an advantage. Platoon after Platoon would be riddled, dismembered, slaughtered and torn to pieces by the opposition. Some high-ranking members of the guard asked her… no, they begged her to think well of their strategies but she just turned a deaf ear and sent her men to their deaths.

It was in the Hive world of Hefextus that he made his worst mistake.

With his reputation already in the mud and in a desperate attempt to renew his already shattered pride: he disobeyed his inquisitor's orders and launched a move against some cultists underground; What Elizabeth did not expect was these followers of chaos had set hidden traps. Now with the Cultists now aware of their presence, a bloody battle was waged where the heretics managed to escape the planet, not before leaving them a farewell gift in the form of a neutron bomb that struck down tens of millions with the life and caused a global energy collapse. .

This was a disaster, the commissionary was livid asking for Elizabeth's head for his incompetence, but Inquisitor Vail denied that conviction and had no choice but to leave Elizabeth on duty or on paperwork.

Elizabeth had fallen from grace, ruined her family's legacy and dishonored the memory of a hero of the empire.

Ventrobi would be sent to a world with an extremely cold climate called Taigette and would remain there permanently in the service of paperwork with no possibility of being called to the front line again.

It was surprising that Elizabeth still had enough willpower not to commit suicide and it was there that she met her assigned group.

The Loud Troop or better known as the Loud Family are a squad of ten young members of the 593 Company of the Valhalla Arctic Troop who showed excellent performance in the Schola due to their promising tactical activity, search and destroy and attrition battles. The family was led by Sergeant Lori and each member served every type of purpose in which they are expertly specialized.

The commissar was outside in her small makeshift base with folded hands taking some rations that her troops would have kindly offered her, her eyes rested on the mobilized group. Lynn was in a chat with the twins Lola and Lana in their lookout positions while Lincoln (the only man in the place) was accompanying the pilot Lisa carrying a lot of pieces that were in the decomposed ship after I spoke crashed in this planet abandoned by the Emperor.

"How is the weather, soldier?" Elizabeth asked the person above her. About 12 meters above the Commissioner was a blonde woman with well-coiffed blonde hair kneeling on the shore holding a heavy long rifle and staring into the peephole.

Leni

Valhalla Arctic Troop Sniper

"It's excellent, Commissar!" Leni answered loudly and headed towards her superior. "Everything okay down there?"

"That's how it is." Elizabeth answered and gave a little salute. "Go on, make sure every Xeno trash is vaporized in sight."

"To the order!"

Elizabeth adjusted her hat and began to walk into her personal quarters until she was stopped by the sergeant.

"Commissar." Lori saluted, standing firm with her weapon slung over her shoulder.

"Sergeant." Elizabeth called back.

"Luan, Lucy and Luna took the Eldar to their chambers, he is ready for interrogation."

"Well." The commissioner nodded to her sergeant. "The Xeno put up resistance?"

"No, Commissar." Lori answered and made a mocking face. "He's being very cooperative even by his standards."

"Seriously?" Elizabeth's eyebrows rose wryly, she couldn't help but laugh. "Is that rich, I suppose they are already accepting us as their superiors."

"I bet the next thing to do is please us."

"Watch out, Sergeant." Elizabeth mockingly aimed her face. "That can be considered Heresy."

"Literally if I wanted to be pleased by an Eldar, it will be the day I commit suicide rather than accept whatever garbage they offer."

"Let's stop wasting time, let's go." Elizabeth ordered and together with the sergeant to question Xeno.

The next thing Coran saw after taking the bag over his head was that he was in a spacious camping tent, next to him were 5 people: three of them were the young women who were in the cave and the other two were a blonde woman whose face was made up of a look of contempt and the other was a mature woman who was probably about his age, wearing a uniform so familiar to him and to all known species. This woman was a Commissioner

The only feeling Coran could have is fear, fear of what was going to happen to him, fear of never seeing his friends again if they were still alive.

But a part of him was relieved to learn that the Galra have yet to dominate the universe and the presence of Imperials is a fact to prove.

The Commissar gave him a smirk and began to walk in circles around him without his gaze leaving the Altean, he was obviously evaluating it for threats or any other hypothesis that arose. The Commissioner gave him almost seven full turns and when he was in front of him again he spoke in his native language which was Low Gothic. (or what Connie describe as European English)

"Can you understand me?" The Commissioner's smile disappeared and with it a mask of professionalism manifested itself on his features.

"Umm, yes… "Coran answered doubtfully, assuming that these people were going to question him there is no other way to answer. "In our recruiting institute they teach us to speak the different languages of the great powers of the universe."

The expression the Commissioner gave her was indecipherable but she chose to continue. "Do you know why you are here?"

"The last thing I remember was that a group of large fluff creatures were about to kill me, I couldn't panic and passed out." Coran replied.

There was a brief silence with the blonde girl glancing at her companions.

"I see." Elizabeth dragged a chair and sat in front of the Altean. "Sergeant, was the Xeno armed when they found him?"

"Negative, Commissar." Lori replied to her superior.

"Did you come armed, Xeno?" Elizabeth asked Coran this time.

"No." Coran answered clearly

"Are you a threat to me and to those in this place?"

"No." This time Coran raised his voice a little.

"Then why did you come to this planet abandoned by the Emperor, Eldar?"

"I already told you that I am not Eldar!" At this point Coran was tired of being confused like that. "I am Altean!"

This left things quiet, the Imperial Commissar stared at Coran for a full minute.

"Could it be a question?" Coran uncomfortably raised his hand and the response he got was a butt to the forehead from the sergeant's gun.

"Here the questions are make by the Commissar!" Lori yelled at the Alíen moaning in pain.

"Easy, sergeant." Elizabeth put a hand on Lori's shoulder. "This rough treatment won't help us, especially when the 'Altean' is helpless like a Snotling in a minefield with a stone as a weapon."

Luan laughed at the commissary's comment; Coran runs his hand over his forehead to ease the blow.

"To answer your question you will have to answer one more." The commissioner drew his blaster and pointed it at the Altean close to its face. "But if I find out that you're lying to me, I'm personally going to execute you, understand?"

That threat was more than enough for Coran to swallow loudly and frantically nod at the imperial woman.

Elizabeth gave Coran a charming smile. "Excellent, I am happy to know that we are in a mutual understanding. Now who are you and how did you get here? "

First of all, Coran began to think about his possibilities: he did not like to reveal important information at all, but he was at the mercy of a force that would kill him with doubt or regret.

Coran had no choice and inside he asked Alfor to forgive him.

Thus he began to reveal to the Imperial Guard who he was, what world he came from and what his role was when Altea still existed. I tell you how Zarkon had destroyed his planet and King Alfor sent him, his daughter and his nephew to a Castle-ship to escape to prevent the Emperor Galra from getting a dangerous weapon and they managed to be hidden for 10,000 years without anyone. will find.

Commissar Elizabeth gave Lucy a quick glance and she shook her head in response.

"So you are an advisor to a Xeno monarchy whose planet was destroyed by the Galra and the three of you fled in a ship to prevent it from seizing a dangerous weapon and kept it hidden in an unknown sector for 10,000 years. I lost something?" Elizabeth asked the Altean. "And what is this weapon that makes it so dangerous?"

"I'm afraid you wouldn't believe me if I told you, Commissar ..." Coran tried to ask the name of his interrogator.

"Elizabeth ventrobi Ciaphas Cain III. And that's all you will know. " Elizabeth clearly introduced herself to the Altean. "And do not be afraid to hide anything from you, today I will be open-minded."

"Cain? I think it sounds familiar." Coran said to himself thoughtfully but abandoned that idea and focused on the question. "Nevermind, this weapon was only a part of it, the rest of them were scattered in various parts of the universe, combined they form the most powerful weapon in the universe: Voltron."

Immediately he was pointed with the commissary's laser pistol, Elizabeth's cap shading his eyes that were thin towards the Altean.

"You're lying."

"I swear! 10,000 years have passed but Voltron returned and will end the Galra empire! " Coran defended himself against the commissioner's accusation.

"Liar! Voltron is nothing more than a tale invented by the Tech-priests for their new apprentices! " Elizabeth jumped up from her chair, yanking him over, and pointed her pistol at Coran's forehead.

"Who is Voltron?" Luan asked Lori.

"According to the Adeptus Mechanicus: Voltron is a powerful machine spirit, an envoy of the Omnissiah who repeatedly defeated the forces of chaos and laid waste to entire legions of Necrons." Lori replied.

"Wow…"

"Lucy, is this Xeno lying !?" Elizabeth asked her shadowy Soldier.

Lucy's response took a while but she shook her head in surprise "I didn't detect the lie in This 'Altean'"

"Impossible." Elizabeth withdrew the pistol from Coran's head with a dazed look.

Coran exhaled loudly, calming his heaving heart, then looked up at the imperial woman.

"He still hasn't told us how you got here." Luna said tilting her face towards him.

"Oh that." Coran looked down, careful what he was about to say. "I was doing a piloting exercise when a Warp Storm manifested and was swallowed by a rift, after that I don't remember anything or how I landed here."

Everything was quiet after that. The commissioner looked at the sergeant and his soldiers with mixed expressions on their faces.

"He is not lying." Lucy gave a quick reply to her superior. "The Xeno Altean named Coran passed through the same fortune as us as well."

"Wait, you were also sucked into a warp rift?" Coran asked in genuine surprise. "It is impossible for this type of coincidence to happen."

"I also." Elizabeth said and shot a glance at Luna. "Release him."

"What?" Everyone including Coran was even more surprised by the commissioner's order.

"Commissioner, are you absolutely sure that it is a good action to release the Xeno?" Lori asked his voice loud and clear, it was more than obvious that he didn't like the idea of having him loose.

"The Altean has show me that it is no danger to us." Elizabeth replied to her sergeant and went to the aforementioned. "But we will not lower our guard, the moment he presents a threat, he will be killed."

Lori was silent with her gaze to Coran who is just now being released from his bonds. His whole being screamed at him to kill him before he put everyone around him at risk.

"Oh thank you, I am in total debt to you, Commissioner." Coran bowed in respect and slowly rose from the ground. "Excuse me but you still haven't answered my question: what year are we in?"

To the commissioner she was uncomfortable but without any difficulty she replied: "Our pilot Lisa confirmed that our time system is not damaged, so we are in the year 478-M48."

"Are you sure?" Coran asked with his voice trailing. "Oh what a relief, it means that all is not lost."

"Luan, Luna, take Xeno with the others to clean him up a bit and give him a drink." Lori ordered the two of them who nodded. "Me and Lucy will stay with the Commissioner to discuss our plan of action when the Skaven reappear."

"To the order!" "On command, Sergeant" the two brown-haired girls took the Altean from behind and escorted him out of the camp.

"Was this the reason why the empire was mobilizing so much?" Lori asked her superior who crossed her arms with an analytical look.

"I can't answer that question, but I am sure of one thing: from now on things will get more interesting."

The Castle of Lions. Two days later:

Things weren't good at the castle, it was enough that Bismuth nearly killed Steven, now Coran has disappeared in a warp rift and is lost anywhere in the universe.

After being safe after the Warp Storm ended, everyone had the horrible news about Coran. Allura was on the verge of panic after what happened and did everything possible to try to find it without any result, for the people of the castle, Coran was what could be said as the heart and the brain: he will always be there to motivate you and always give you back. will provide all the necessary help. The mere fact that he is lost or worse caused them good emotional damage.

Lance explained to everyone that the Altean have a Psychic bond with their loved ones or acquaintances and reassured them a bit by revealing that Coran was still alive and that he would need their help to find him.

Everyone immediately (including Bismuth) left the castle in search of the major Altean, No one was going to be left behind, they would have to find Coran and soon.

Lance entered the cockpit with a tray of food with him and found his cousin on the holographic panel with a haggard face from lack of sleep. Lance sighed and tried to get closer to Allura.

"Allura." Lance called his cousin and put the tray of food next to her. "Lunch is served."

"I'm not hungry." Allura answered hoarsely, gently pushing the tray of food away. "We still haven't found Coran."

"I know, I know it's tough right now but we need you to be okay to continue the search." Lance pushed the tray toward Allura's position. "Matt and Pidge are looking across the industry, they've deployed a lot of receiving sonars in case Coran can communicate."

"What if you are lost on a planet without being able to communicate? What if it is a desert planet? What if you starve? There were no supplies on the ship and maybe- "Allura numbered with desperation in her eyes but was silenced by Lance who put a hand on her shoulder.

"Don't worry Allura, we're going to find him, we must find him." Lance gave his cousin a calm smile and gave her a hug. "You eat a little and go to sleep, I'll take care of it from now on."

The princess hesitated but with a resigned sigh she hugged her cousin and gave him a nod. "Thanks Lance, I needed it."

"Don't worry, we're not leaving anyone behind ..." Lance said resolutely. "Coran is coming back at any cost."

A multitude of barefoot footsteps were heard among the thickets of the forest. A unit of Skaven were moving cautiously through the forest, the unit consisted of 78 Skaven (5 of them were stalkers, 6 were Ratglins and 4 carried Warp flamethrowers) and were led by a Vermin who was mounted on a huge rat.

Most of the ratmen were nothing more than slaves who had short-range weapons with a few having firearms as they wanted to save resources for their lord commander's true troops.

The vermin had copper-colored armor on his arms and head, the rest of his body was covered in rags stolen from a dead soldier of the Death Korps of Krieg regiment. He was armed solely with a laser pistol and a powerblade on his belt.

The Vermin was upset, why of all his entourage Vermin did they have to send him?

It made sense for them to send this little legion to 'test the waters' with these humans, but why him? Surely there were better ones for this kind of work!

The group leader looked back, his ratmen following at a slow pace with the Ratglins in front and the Warp Flamethrower in the middle. Seeing the vast arsenal of his litter, the Vermin felt somewhat self-conscious: Why did he have to worry? There's no way in the world someone would be foolish enough to try to ambush them! What does it matter if any of these insignificant slaves die !? With his heavy artillery close to him you will feel safe.

Or so I thought ...

The mine that its floor mount was well camouflaged in both smell and visibility, these humans took advantage of the fact of the dysfunctional sight of their species and placed the mine in the part where the sun hit.

It only took one tick and the pandemonium started. The Vermin along with his mount were involved in a tremendous explosion, only the torso of the leader remained, who only had two spasms before dying, the rest fell back but no one took another step when several grenades fell from the trees and a great variety of explosions sounded throughout the forest killing multiple Skaven in the process.

A Skaven accidentally stepped onto a rope tied to the ground and a detachment sound rang out, looking up he couldn't scream as a large rock fell on him instantly killing him. Still others died after stepping on these traps in the panic of the situation.

The Ratglins got tired of this and started shooting like a jerk, the whole area full of holes when a torrent of Emerald green bullets were fired. But a laser beam in the middle of the shooting was necessary to be silenced, the same fate was also for his companions.

The warp flamethrowers tried to remove the heavy fuel tanks from their back to be able to flee, this was not in the plan and they did not want to be victims of the crossfire that was happening, but their misfortune came the moment a stray bullet struck. squarely in one of the tanks and the carriers were burned to death along with other Ratmen who were stupid to stay near the tanks.

Something strange happened and it seemed that the fire was spreading at an impossible speed with more Skaven being swallowed up by a wave of greenish fire.

The stalkers had a better chance of escaping the chaos as they were faster than their peers but were stopped in their tracks when a human appeared in front of them from the trees. This one was a little shorter than Lori and taller than Lucy, he wore the uniform of the arctic troop while his hair was albino white with freckles on his cheeks.

Lincoln.

Member of the 1216 company of the artic troop of Valhalla.

"For the Emperor!" Lincoln let out a victorious roar as he stomped on the dry leaves and there was the noise of a mechanism and the rope coming off.

The forward stalker had no time to dodge when a large hit with the sharp point struck him square and sent him flying, dying quickly while the other stalkers were fired at point-blank range by laser projectiles.

And so the legion of 78 Ratmen was reduced to nothing with several Skaven corpses reduced to coal.

Lincoln shot the last stalker a couple of times and holstered his pistols and watched the entire show he put on feeling great pride in a good job.

"All clear!?" Lincoln yelled in the middle of the burning forest who were fading fast.

In a great wall of fire Lucy emerged intact and with a wave of her hand the rest of the fire was quickly extinguished without the need for water.

In the end all that remained of the forest was reduced to ashes and the trees once full of leaves were left without salvation.

"All clear. " Lucy replied monotonously. "It was of great thought to set traps to create panic in the masses."

"And you using your psychic powers to spread the fire around the place, it was fitting that those Xenos had brought those flammable tanks." Lincoln said with great optimism. "We make a great team."

"I guess ..." Lucy replied with a slight inclination of her head. "Shall we go back to the others? I no longer feel a pang of life from these creatures. "

"Sure, the commissioner will be happy with this." Lincoln responded and turned on his heel and they left the site.

"We came back!" Lincoln announced to the two people who were at the lookout post.

"Wow, did they come so early?" A female voice asked while smoking a bit, it was a girl who was semi-adult with her blonde hair tied in two ponytails, her military uniform was stained with any kind of dirt and gave off a terrible smell that was only tolerated by those close to her. to your group. Next to her was another girl who had the same appearance only that instead of having her hair tied, she had it loose and well combed, this was opposite to the other since her uniform was without a speck of dust or dirt, in addition to having the Discreetly decorated uniform, both were sharing the same cigarette while the one with the pigtails was leaning on a plasma cannon.

Lola

Lana

Members of the heavy artillery of the Valhalla Arctic Troop.

"No matter who you are on the planet, there will always be rats everywhere." Lola took a breath of her cigarette and then passed it to her sister Lana. "Don't even make me talk about Necromunda."

"Oh, how I love that place." Lana sighed dreamily. "Especially the waste compactor, a real engineering marvel."

"What's up!" Lincoln saluted as he reached the twins. "How have things been here?"

"Same: no sightings of any kind and Luan driving us crazy with her jokes." Lana responded by passing the cigarette to Lola.

"I swear: I'm going to have a stroke if I keep hearing more of those jokes." Lola took a couple of breaths causing her to cough loudly.

"And how's the Eld- I mean: the Altean, Coran?" Lincoln asked as he took out his thermos of water.

"The Xeno is being good at the moment." Lana replied with a shrug. "He along with Lori and Lynn left the camp to retrieve some parts of their ship and bring them here."

"Right now he's with Lisa building some kind of Xeno-tech fused intercom with our ship's radio." Lola continued the argument by pulling the cigar and stepping on it with her boot.

"The commissioner gave permission for it?" Lucy asked in her common tone.

"Duh, we all want to get off this planet as soon as possible." "We won't last long here and sooner or later the Skaven will come in hordes." The twins replied to the Psychic.

"Well, I better go to the commissioner and we inform her of our mission." Lincoln spoke and the two said goodbye to the twins who returned to their usual guard.

Coran couldn't help but think that he is the luckiest man there is. After the first awkward meeting with the commissioner two days ago, she released him and the others gave him food and drink, it was there that he was able to meet everyone present in this makeshift camp.

Although there was conveniently only one man in this troop, the Loud family (the name of the team) were certainly each individual by nature.

The sergeant, Lori: a very temperamental and strict and indifferent woman; Loyal to his principles and a good fighter (although he tends to exaggerate a lot when using the word 'literally')

The sniper, Leni: gentle, kind and skilled; He shows great skill with the long laser but his low intellect makes it impossible to fight at medium or short distances.

Luna, Luan and Lynn: diligent, hilarious, daring; Skillful fighters in medium to close range and in hand-to-hand combat.

Lincoln, the only man that existed in this place (besides him) a cunning man and always on the go to invest his time well, a great planner and a good marksman.

Lucy, the dark girl: mysterious like her whole being, possessing several psychic abilities whose functions were unknown to Coran, she is always on the lookout and suddenly appears to you if you do not pay attention to your surroundings.

Then there are Lola and Lana: the first is very temperamental while the other is open; very skilled with the use of heavy weaponry and in setting traps.

And lastly there was Lisa, who was with her right now.

It was a girl with short brown hair with circular lenses resting on her eyes, her uniform was a little different than that of the others since it was a little closer to her body, the look that the girl had had great wisdom but in she had a huge feeling of indifference.

Lisa

Member of the imperial piloting.

They were both looking at the engineering work they just did: it was a combination of Imperial and Altean technology, it looked like a small-medium sized antenna with a vox-caster and an Altean transmitter box connected together.

"Not bad, right?" Coran asked the genius girl who only glanced at him.

"Hypothetically, a Tech-priest would have a critical flaw in his voice box upon seeing a machine spirit being manipulated by Xenotech." Lisa responded by adjusting her glasses.

"In Altea we also have that belief." Coran said rhetorically.

"So what? Just because you believe in the Omnissiah doesn't mean the Mechanicus is going to back you up." Lisa walked over to the makeshift antenna and carefully began to move the hands of the Vox. "Did you link cables 51 and 26 well with the Gellar mini shield backfeed systems?"

"Of course, you want to ensure that our message is heard even in the warp." The talented alien engineer replied proudly.

"It is relevant, so the search time will be cut and the chances of our rescue will increase."

"Everthing is good here?" Elizabeth's voice was heard behind them and they saw her along with Lori, Lynn and Luan. "How is it going with the antenna?"

"It is 83.13% operational, Commissioner." Lisa replied straight and firmly to her superior. "We just have to wait and we can be rescued before we say-"

"PEANUTS!" Luan suddenly screamed and actually laughed with all eyes on her.

"Well, well done." Elizabeth gave Coran a discreet nod and tousled Lisa's hair a little. "Especially you, pilot, we wouldn't have done it without you."

"T-you flatter me too much, but still we must not lower our guard." Lisa explained shaking the embarrassment from her face. "Those Xenos mammals known as the Skaven are still out there and come more often."

"I support the pilot in this one, Commissioner." Lynn crossed her arms. "This is the fifth that happened."

"Sixth." Lincoln mentioned behind the others who directed his attention. "And the number keeps getting bigger. At this point your commander is probably fed up with the failures of his squadrons and will still throw aside his pride bringing his entire army with him to finish us off. "

"I literally don't want to be there when that happens." Lori spoke with her frown deepening.

"And that is why we must hurry." Elizabeth added and pointed her finger at Lisa. "We need you to activate the signal immediately, ignore any additional parts that the transmitter is missing."

"To order, Commissioner." Lisa nodded.

"Sergeant: You and the others will seek strategic positions to repel the impending incursion, collect any remaining ammunition or supply, and guard it in case we need it. Tell the marksman Leni to find a strategic place where she can use to take down the heaviest and flee in case things get ugly. "

"To order, Commissioner!" The three of them nodded and moved quickly to do their job.

"Lincoln, meet with Lucy and tell her to expand her psychic field to know where the enemy is coming from, meanwhile you will deploy explosives around the place, use the remaining fuel from the ship if necessary."

"As you order, ma'am." Lincoln saluted and went to meet the dark girl.

"Xeno." Elizabeth called out to Coran who snapped out of his trance upon seeing the steward's determined gaze.

"Y-yes?" Coran asked meekly.

"You will stay with me."

"Ummm... okay."

At this point Commander Sal'damur lost his patience.

Six raids, six Skaven raids were sent to put an end to the humans who were on the planet and those six raids have failed with their total annihilation.

The question was: how?

He knew that his species was not the strongest in terms of numbers but they have other qualities that can compensate for their weaknesses such as their intelligence and keen senses.

But it has been shown on several occasions that these humans are very cunning and therefore more intelligent. They caused landslides in the mountains that completely engulfed their men, set elaborate traps in blind spots, and employed the use of a psychic to pepper them.

Sal'damur could no longer afford any more losses since with each defeat that passes the other Skaven will only see him as an incompetent rat and will stop following him (but not before killing him) and that is something that could not happen.

That is why he decided to take care of these humans personally.

Commander Rat along with his army of over six hundred Skaven marched in what could be said: a bloodbath that Khorne would be glad to receive.

Sal'damur drew his powersword and turned to look at his army. In front of him were ten white-furred Skaven, this was his insurance against Psychicod attacks while the others were armed with whatever weapons they could carry and the vehicles that were available.

With a bloodthirsty smile that would make a Bloodletter blush, he pointed his sword forward and gave his war cry:

"GO AND GLORY FOR THE HORNED RAT!"

The other Ratmen roared in unison and charged with utter disregard for their lives.

"THEY'RE HERE!" Lucy screamed in the minds of everyone present who with a blink stopped doing whatever they were doing and immediately ran to their posts.

"All right, idiots! The time has come! " Lori screamed into the radio as she headed towards a sprawling barricade. "We will give those Xenos frakkers a part of our pride as imperial power FOR THE EMPEROR!"

"FOR THE EMPEROR!" four pairs of voices roared at the same time.

"Are you already in position, Leni !?" Lori yelled at the lying form of the other blonde with her Long Laser in her sights.

"Affirmative!" Leni responded with a greeting.

"And remember: shoot the largest or most armed targets!" Lori declared in an authoritative tone.

The sniper nodded and Lori looked at the Commissioner along with Xeno Coran moving quickly towards their position.

"I guess the time has come." Elizabeth spoke with a stony face and dangerous frown.

"Lucy just informed me that this time her commander will be coming." Lori reported giving a brief glance at the Altean who was looking away with a look that expresses concern.

"Well, we will finally deal the final blow to that tide of vermin that has plagued us so much since we arrived on this planet." The commissioner announced with a positive tone.

"Uhh… are they saying that there is an army of those creatures coming after us?" Coran asked in a somewhat fearful tone.

"There is no need to worry, Xeno. Comparing this army to the horde of Orks we have faced: this is not that a slight breeze." Elizabeth responded by casually glancing at her nails.

The old Altean let out a frightened groan as he swallowed heavily and prayed to the gods that he came out of this alive.

"They have already entered the forest!" Lucy telepathically warned the others in position. "They are sending their slaves first, they don't intend to fall for the same trick again and they send the other weaklings in their horde."

"Just how I imagined it." Elizabeth told herself.

Suddenly loud explosions were heard coming from the forest, multiple plumes of smoke rose to the surface and inside the Ratmen screech could be heard.

"Looks like there will be rat skewer in the afternoon today." Luan commented comically without taking aim from the forest.

Inside the forest, the Skaven ran and ran, activating traps that engulfed them in explosions by proximity mines and others were crushed by huge rocks falling from the trees.

Sal'damur was pleased to see how the first phase of his plan was a success. Apparently this caused him to send out his second legion who consisted of a few warriors, a few Night Runners and a few Packmasters who roared and charged into the chaotic thicket.

"I'm spotting another legion heading here!" Leni screamed and started firing her long laser.

"Lucy, it's your turn!" The commissioner ordered the young Psychic.

The dark woman nodded and with a bit of time to focus, she began avoiding on the ground reaching a good ten meters.

"By Altea ..." Coran muttered fascinated at the demonstration.

Lucy's hair began to undulate like the river revealing her eyes for the first time: pale blue with heavy dark circles, her body began to emanate a blue aura that surrounded her entire body and with a demonic cry she raised her hands to the sky.

Then the scattered columns of fire that the slaves provoked began to enlarge and turn pale blue, then began to move fluidly, enveloping the Ratmen in it and forcing the others to stop in their tracks.

The Packmasters made their way and pointed at the wall of fire with their staffs who began to emanate a green glow on the gem that was at the tip firing several moments that hit the wall of fire, obstructing the Psychic power and opened several holes that allowed their comrades to pass.

"Frak!" Lynn cursed when she saw the Skaven advance undamaged through the wall of fire and began firing her laser gun like the rest.

A Night Runner evaded the shots and lunged towards Lynn but was killed by a blow from Luan's bayonet to the chest.

"Hey, I had it!" Lynn growled in annoyance at the humorous soldier.

"Shut up and shoot!" Luan let go and fired at stragglers Skaven.

Luna saw a great concentration and pulled out a krak grenade and threw it towards her position. Multiple parts flew off, the rest were riddled with laser fire that the rest delivered.

Lucy made Levites on a pile of rocks which were promptly thrown at high speed towards the enemy opposition. The Packmasters arrived at the site and fired electric bolts at the psychic woman who flew through the skies distracting them as Leni fired at them.

It was a great massacre. Coran has never seen savagery like this in his life, and he had heard of the bloody battles waged by the imperial guard against their enemies. But seeing him in person tripled her fear and created a terrible feeling in her stomach.

"Are you still looking away, Xeno!?" Elizabeth asked after firing a few rounds at some straggling Ratmen. "You better not do it, this is going to be too long."

"Quiznack ..." Coran muttered, lowering his head one more over the barricade, his gaze fixed on the carnage that was taking place.

Lincoln took a quick swing with his Chainsword decapitating a Night Runner and with his laser pistol he killed a couple more and swung his sword vertically over the head of another Ratmen. Lynn and Luan also fought with another small group with Lynn deftly wielding her Chainsword and Luan driving her bayonet into the face of a Packmaster.

"Die!" Lynn split a Ratmen in half and moved nimbly, kicking the face of another who was charging towards them.

Luan blocked a blow with her weapon a sword and kicked the Ratmen's chest away and then shot him in the chest leaving a bloody mess.

"Hello Xeno!" Luan dodged a Night Runner swing, then jabbed his bayonet into his neck letting out a scream of agony. "Bye Xeno!"

"Luan, let yourself play and shoot these things!" Lynn 'literally' tore a Ratmen in two, his face like the rest of his uniform was covered in blood.

The brunette did not see a Ratmen approaching from behind and was about to attack him from behind when a heavy rock fell on him, killing him on the spot and scaring poor Lynn.

"Hey, be careful!" Lynn complained about the psychic who kept hovering around the site.

A missile flew past his barricade and knocked down a huge gathering that was coming, the three of them looked back and saw Lana waving at him.

As the confrontation dragged on, Sal'damur's patience was running out, the rat commander and his army witnessed how the second part of their forces was being annihilated by the men-thing with insulting ease.

The commander's cybernetic eye was red as was his attitude and he kept pacing back and forth grumbling bitterly.

Finally fed up with these thing-men and how their forces were being pathetically slaughtered he pointed his Powersword and without thinking twice roared in his mother tongue and the armored vehicles sped into the forest to cut through it and take down the enemy in one shot.

Only there was a slight drawback ...

Right in the middle of the forest: bombs, mines and rocks were not the only traps scattered throughout the forest, there were also fine ropes invisible to the eye, the driver of a motorcycle along with his partner were instantly beheaded and the drivers of Combat Vehicles were hit by Leni's shot where some overturned or slammed into trees causing further explosions and disorder in the automobile unit.

Sal'damur couldn't believe it, they were losing.

They were being pathetically crushed by those filthy humans!

The commander had to do something, he had already planned a retreat, but a humiliation would fall on his shoulders so great that death would be his greatest relief.

There was no option left, it will be all or nothing!

"It's over." Sal'damur raised his sword and with it gave his possible final order. "CHAAAAAARRRRRRGEEEEEE ~!"

With that roar, every remaining Skaven at his disposal charged in one last battle cry.

"FALLBACK, FALLBACK! The Skaven are launching their last horde and this is the greatest of all. " Lori screamed from the front of the barricade and everyone immediately ran back but not before planting some additional bombs where they were.

"Very good, Louds!" The Commissioner called and with some blood smeared on his face. "This is it, there are only two ways out of this ending. One: we'll get riddled by those filthy Xenos. Two: we will embrace our weapons and fight until none of them are left standing. "

"The probability of that happening is 18.52%." Lisa responded cryptically which earned her the gaze of everyone involved. "What the hell, For the Emperor."

"FOR THE EMPEROR!" The other Louds screamed in unison.

"Hey, what about me !?" Coran pointed to himself with great fear on his face.

"Nah, you're going to be fine." Lana replied nonchalantly.

"Seriously!?" The Altean flails like a maniac in front of the rest. "

The screams and screeches could be heard on the other side of the trees and from there emerged a large number of Ratmen who without any hesitation began to shoot.

"Everyone go to the cave while I detonate the bombs and the plasma cannon!" The sergeant screamed and everyone (including Lucy and Leni) without any hesitation entered the cave that Coran had been in earlier.

Without more to say: Lori ducked avoiding the shots that the Ratmen were sending, Lori took a control and without further delay quickly returned to the hole in the cave and just before entering she pressed the button that was on the control.

Dozens of final explosions completely struck down the waves of Ratmen scattered on the barricades. However this was nothing more than a slight annoyance as more Skaven appeared from the flames ready to annihilate their existence.

Sal'damur was ecstatic, to hell with pride, he finally has victory in his grasp and he would send those Costa-men into the warp forever.

The commander was about to give an additional order to his troops when his super senses rodents like that of the other Ratmen picked up a powerful noise in the sky ...

They all stopped in their tracks and looked up. What was that? There were three points in the sky and they seemed to be getting closer, they realized that they were not points but something else.

Commander Rat's healthy eyes widened in total shock.

"No ... this cannot be possible."

With no other thought but to preserve their lives, the Skaven of the Blackadder Word ran for their lives as the massive machines fired their death rays.

The only thoughts Sal'damur could process were the following:

"How we have been defeated?..."

"Hey guys, excuse me if I ask but ..." Stevonnie raised an eyebrow at the sight of the aliens underneath. "Those are human rats?"

"Dude, it's literally going to take a bomb to end this plague." Matt commented on the transmitter in a repulsive tone.

"Eew, what are those things?" Pidge, totally disgusted, still looked away, the same action Peridot did.

"I don't know about you but I think we better go there and finish them off!" Keith commented heatedly and started to accelerate.

"Keith, wait!" Stevonnie tried to warn him but it was too late.

The red, green and blue lions went on the attack with the last two having no choice. They fired beams from their mawcanons at the rattling hordes of the Ratmen, m. Keith fired his thermal beam that ended up generating a massive forestry mischief while Stevonnie and Pidge fired at the scattered and panicked groups.

This was like the old cat and mouse story: With huge cats chasing and killing large humanoid rats.

The Irony of Nature expressed in all its splendor.

No one knew what was going on out there but whatever it was, no Skaven was inside the cave. The following explosions shook the earth and almost threatened to cause a landslide.

After a few minutes that became eternal, the explosions stopped and everything was in great silence; none could hear anything else from outside.

"Was over?" Lola asked nervously clinging to her sister's side.

"The Xenos are dead?" Lynn asked being alert to any being that appears in that tunnel.

"I'm not sure." To the commissioner he responded showing doubt in his position. "But we won't find out while we're here."

Steeling themselves, the Altean along with the little imperial guard discreetly exited the cave and found themselves with the most beautiful sight of all.

The lions of Voltron.

"Through the bowels of the Emperor ..." Elizabeth murmured in amazement at the sight as did the rest of the guard.

Coran at this point was crying, make fun if you want but the sensation he was feeling when he saw the Lions together with their champions was the greatest of joys.

Without further ado, Coran walked quickly towards the group of paladins that had gathered.

The first one she noticed was Pidge who immediately pointed him out and she and Stevonnie ran to catch him in a crushing hug that she received with great pleasure.

"You have no idea how worried we were!" Pidge lifted her face from Coran's chest to look into his face.

"We thought you were lost forever or worse!" Stevonnie added showing a worried but relieved face at the same time.

"You really didn't have to worry, I am a fully experienced man after all." Coran pointed to himself with a beaming smile.

Keith took a few steps closer and extended his hand to the senior Altean.

"I'm glad to be safe, Coran." Keith gave him a friendly smile plus a nod.

This action warmed the heart of Coran who shook his hand. "Mine too, Keith."

"You have a lot to explain to the others when we take you back to the castle." Peridot mentioned having everyone's attention. "First of all: who are the strange humans you hang out with?"

Keith turned his gaze and his eyes widened in anticipation of recognizing the emblem they wore and pushed the Quran behind him protectively as he activated his shield and Bayard. "Back off!"

"W-what's it's Happening?" Stevonnie asked nervously when the other humans pointed their weapons just before Keith activated his Bayard.

"They are humans of the Imperium!" Keith shot him a hostile look at the aforementioned who stared back at him with double. "These are part of the Imperial guard!"

The atmosphere became tense as everyone except Coran and Elizabeth became defensive.

The paladins eventually make contact with another superpower in the universe lije the Galra Empire whose hatred of the Aliens was superior and would kill them without any hesitation.

But unexpectedly things took a surprising turn.

"Lower your weapons!" Elizabeth suddenly ordered to the surprise of everyone including the paladins. "There is no reason to be hostile!"

"Commissar! Can't you see that we are literally in danger !? " Lori yelled at her superior and gave him a hateful, murderous look towards the Paladins.

"I'm not feeling in danger, Sergeant." Elizabeth narrowed her gaze at the blonde who flinched before her. "Lower your weapons ... it's an order."

Almost the entire Loud troop reluctantly complied with the order, except for Lori who kept pointing her rifle at the Galra, but the look the Commissar was giving her froze her completely from pulling the trigger and she finally had no choice but to lower her weapon.

"Well." Elizabeth nodded and then walked over to the still-alert paladins, in good faith, the commissioner removed his hat and spoke as politely as possible. "Excuse the attitude of my troop, but as you just saw a few moments ago we were fighting for our lives against the Skaven."

"Yes ..." Pidge felt the bile in her throat as she saw a Packmaster lying on the ground with his guts exposed to the sun. "I can see that…"

"Yes, and how a commissar of the imperial guard knows when to abandon all hostility when there is a situation in which we cannot win." Elizabeth commented, lightly wringing her hat.

"Oh yeah?" Keith arched an unconvinced brow at this woman. "And you think we are foolish enough to believe in-"

He appeared so early that hardly anyone saw him coming.

Sal'damur (or what was left of him) came out among a pile of corpses screaming bloody murder as he leaped towards the red Paladin with his Powersword in hand aimed to decapitate him.

But it was a shot in the chest that pushed him back, pulling his sword completely and releasing one last spasm and then dying.

Everyone froze at the sight of the last Skaven killed and then focused on the Commissar who was holding her blaster with the barrel smoking.

"So ..." Elizabeth blew smoke from her barrel and tucked the gun into her belt. "Was it saying something?"

Hi guys! I'm really sorry I didn't update anything all week but I've been a bit busy with college. Hope you understand.

Without more to say, greetings.
