After running for so long, the two sat on a couple of rocks. Sakura healed her daughter's arms and legs with Tsunade's medical ninjutsu. Her hands glowed green as they touched the cuts.

"Mom... Why was he targeting Sasuke? Who even WAS that guy?" Hanako asked, trying to stay still.

"That's my thoughts exactly. I've never met him, don't know what connection he has to your dad, and I have no clue where he came from. But he seems off his knocker." Sakura answered somberly.

"Off his knocker?" Hanako's head tilted.

"Insane. Wild. Crazy... You know." Sakura explained. "He wanted to kill all of us. He's probably after us right now, so I'll speed up my healing process."

"Thanks for the save, mom. You really are a cool ninja." Hanako smiled, blushing red.

"Aww... You're welcome!" Sakura blushed, smiling back.

The two sat in silence. After Sakura finished healing Hanako, she healed her own arms and legs. The two found it strange the pale man didn't catch up to them, but it was better healing without interruption.

After the healing was complete, Hana got up and asked;

"You've known Sasuke longer than me. Since you finally opened up when we were at home.. Can you tell me what my dad was like? Before you got married?"

Sakura's face turned from red to pink.

"He was super popular with the academy girls. And he was pretty good looking too! I miss those little spikes in the back of his hair! His grades at the academy were the absolute best!" Sakura thought of younger Sasuke.

"That sounds wonderful!" Hana chuckled.

"But as time passed, I started to notice how cold and unfeeling he was. I just kept pushing myself to love him despite that fact. I wanted something out of him, but he often called me annoying. He even—"

"He… he called you annoying? How… How did you two get along? To have me?" Hanako said, a bit confused.

"No couple is perfect, Hanako. But to answer that, I married him for his looks. Not his personality. I was way too caught up in that, and was oblivious to the fact that Naruto and Lee cared about me. Sasuke tried to…and he… I… ugh! this is so hard… I just… only liked your father for his appearance alone, dear. Now I don't know how to feel about him!" She sobbed, hugging her raven haired daughter tightly. Hana hugged back, comforting her crying mom.

"That sounds awful…" Hana whispered.

"Sasuke… saw me the same way. He just wanted my body. And when he saw me with Rock Lee… He hit me." Sakura sniffed.

Hanako's eyes widened in fear. She became a bit afraid of seeing her father.

"But I'm sure he's better now… I'm sure he sees what he's doing is wrong if we visit him… right?! It's all in the past, after all!" Sakura shakily said.

Hanako was still trying to process the entire situation.

"Hana-chan?"

"Let's just keep going, mom."

The two got up and walked. They drank out of her water bottle as the birds chirped in the trees. After five minutes, the two found Sasuke's house. They knocked on the door, only for no one to answer.

"Honey… it's me, Sakura! I brought our daughter!"

The door slowly opened. Hanako and Sakura both sweat profusely as Sasuke came into full view. Sasuke glanced down at his daughter. He thought of the younger version of her and couldn't believe how tall she's gotten. He then glanced at Sakura. She was beautiful to him, but something inside him wanted to repress the memories of her.

"Sasuke. Don't you miss us, dear?"

"Dad…?"

"Are you two working with that paper white creep?" He pointed a katana at them.

"D-dad!"

"WHAT?! NO! WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! We didn't come all this way just to deal with your edgy nonsense!" Sakura growled.

"... Yup, you're my wife alright." Sasuke put his katana back in the case.

Sakura took deep breaths along with her daughter.

"Why did you bring the child here? She doesn't need to know about any of this." Sasuke bitterly said, causing Hanako to frown.

"Any of what? This little tower you live in is full of opened letters! She just wants to learn more about you!" Sakura said.

"Yes. There's something I need to hear from you, dad. About my mom…" Hanako began.

"Hmm?" Sasuke went closer towards them.

Sakura held her daughter's shoulder.

"Is it true… that… you married her just for her looks alone? If not what made you marry her? What made you have… me?" Hanako nervously said.

"No."

"Then why'd you marry her?"

"... Cause she annoyed me into marrying her and we just had you out of lust. Nothing more. Nothing less." Sasuke turned his back to them.

"... What?!" Hanako gasped.

"Honey, don't say that!" Sakura went in front of her daughter.

"Well we did!"

"No! I loved you for your cool looks AND personality I swear!"

"Oh so now you're lying to yourself about this god damn marriage! You're still in denial as if you're fifteen again!"

"I'm not in denial! I stuck by you no matter how much you hit me—"

"ENOUGH!"

The two stopped arguing and stared at their angry child. She grinded her teeth as she clenched her fists together.

"What gives you the right to hit mom just because you think she's doing something wrong?! You say she's doing something wrong, when you've never been there for us at all! Do you find it right to forget about the face of your own kid?! Mom didn't talk to me about it until I let out my feelings! This family is so broken I can't live my life normally without thinking about you! We went through hell and back just to get here, but now I gotta watch you two argue?! Why would you leave a sweet woman like mom?!" The background turned red as she ranted.

Sakura looked concerned about her daughter's mental health as Sasuke didn't give a crap.

Hanako looked up at her parents. Sweat ran down her red cheeks as she panted.

"... Hanako-Chan…" Sakura whispered.

"Dad… what have you actually been doing and where were you this whole time?" Hanako pulled on her father's black cloak.

"This has nothing to do with you." Sasuke said coldly.

Hurt by this, Hanako punched her father in the stomach, then ran out the tower. Sasuke didn't flinch or even grunt one bit. He just took it in.

The gears in Sakura's large forehead started to turn.

"Sasuke…"

"Yes, Sakura?"

"I don't think you're even human anymore." She took off her wedding ring and tossed it on the ground. She then ran after her daughter.

Sasuke stood in silence as he listened to his wife repeat his daughter's name. He felt empty. Inside and out. He picked up the wedding ring and put it in a jewelry box.

"While I'll miss my family dearly, they'll get in the way of my mission." Sasuke whispered. He then thought of the man who attacked him once more. He looked through some pictures of him and his brother, and saw a pale little boy with blonde hair and brown eyes. The boy atr some ramen with Itachi, as Sasuke tried to avoid the camera. He looked nothing like the pale man, but Sasuke had a hunch the kid was the same as him.

"Shin Nomaru..." Sasuke mumbled. He put the photo in his pocket and went on his bed. He then drifted off to sleep, dreaming about what happened before the photo.

"This ramen is so good!" Itachi smiled with his mouth full.

"Thank you. My mom made it with extra chive and um... I think this is chicken?" Shin said, confused.

"Heh heh... Ya don't need to remember, punk." Itachi elbowed him. He then got out an old fashioned camera.

"Yo, Sasuke!" Itachi yelled.

"Hmm?" He turned to face them.

"Come take a pic with me, you dumb a$$! I wanna remember how good this ramen is!" Itachi smirked.

"Don't call him that! He's your brother!" Shin angrily said.

"Fine fine... Come take a pic, idiot!" Itachi smirked.

Sasuke scooted a little closer. He glanced away from the camera.

Itachi sat close to his friend as he held the camera with one hand, and held chopsticks in the other, the ramen dripping from it. The two smiled as Sasuke had no emotion on his face. The camera flashed, only for a knife to go through the photograph.

Sasuke woke up, coughing up blood. His eyes widened in shock as he glanced down at his own chest. The pale man chuckled as he dug his blades through Sasuke's chest.

"I knew this would be easy!" He whisper yelled.

"You're... You're not Shin... Are you?... Is this... Is this because I killed Itachi?" Sasuke panted.

"Yes. I am. Orochimaru's experiments increased my physical performance and form in general. I want to continue Itachi's work, and murder you once and for all! Since you have nothing to live for, it's time to slice you into pieces!" Shin smiled sadistically.

"You… forgot one crucial fact…"

"And what's that?"

Suddenly. Sasuke took out the knife and made shadow clones. Shin's red eyes widened. They all jumped around. He tried to use his shinengan to track the man down. The real one leapt from the ceiling and sliced Shin in the back with his sword. He sliced the pale man in half and let the blood spatter on the floor.

"I'm Sasuke." He said as the two halves fell dow n near him. A little white spider with a red eye saw the massacre, and crawled off to report the events back to Orochimaru.

Meanwhile… Sakura followed her daughter Hanako into the deeper part of the woods. A bunch of black birds went near Hanako as she cried, then flew away once Sakura arrived. She sat next to her in silence, giving her some room to settle down.

"I can't believe we came all this way only for dad to give us NO information! And you were even right about him being a dick! I just don't get why he would abandon his own family!" Hanako yelled.

"Because..." Sakura began.

"BECAUSE WHAT, MOM?!" Hanako's face was red with tears.

"Your father is an admirable ninja. But a terrible dad. He's only thinking of one mission: to avenge the death of his people and destroy anything that gets in his way. He doesn't want me, or you. We were of no use to him anymore. He almost tried to kill us and had no quams about apologizing. I've been so oblivious to the way Sasuke treated me after his brother died. Before that, he was the coolest. But you... You're a blessing, Hanako. I... Honestly don't know what I'd do with out you! You're the sweetest and most kindest girl any mother could ask for." Sakura said before hugging her.

"Me neither, mom... Unlike dad you stuck by my side! I don't know why I wanted to look for him." Hanako hugged back.

"Now come on, let's go to Rock Lee's to get some ramen. I marked a tree near his house so I can do the Hiraishin no Jutsu. Just hold on tight to me and we'll teleport there." Sakura got up.

"Hold up..." Hanako mumbled.

"Hmm?" Sakura goofily tilted her head.

"I wanna mark my first area here, so in case da... Sasuke does anything suspicious, I'll be ready." Hanako smirked.

The background turned black, showing a white outlined image of Sakura looking worried.

'She stopped calling him dad... Looks like the encounter really hit her hard.'

It then turned back to normal.

"Great idea, sweetie. Have some water. It'll help restore your chakra." Sakura gave her daughter a bottle of water. To her surprise, she drank the whole thing. Hanako did the hand symbols, and failed to mark a few areas. She then saw one behind Sasuke's house and marked that perfectly. Sakura was proud of her daughter, but flinched once she smelled blood. She grabbed her daughter and teleported back to the leaf village using the Hirashin jitsu. Sasuke saw a flash of light and squinted at the area it came from. There was blood on his kimono and he grunted in contempt.

The scene zoomed in on his hair then faded to black.
