The ground shook and the skies twisted in a storm of ash and fire. Massive geysers of lava and flame rose like towers above the land for miles around. Lightning flashed in long snaking branches through the sky. Ash and soot filled the air, leaving the people of the land choking for breath.
The ground in front of them shattered as a massive black clawed hand the size of a building shot out from the massive summoning circle created by Scar, trying to grasp the sky.
A purple energy like a raging fire lapped at the air around it, sending out corrupting clouds of poison to the sky. It was a horrifying sight. It felt wrong. Like it should not exist in this reality.
"NO!" Lu yelled in fear. She was the only one here who knew the terrifying world destroying power the demon god held. The demon god Sult should not be allowed to exist in this world. Ciel knelt by her knowing there was very little that he could do to stop this, if anything at all.
The very world around them began to compress towards the giant hand and everyone in the El search party felt themselves being slowly pulled towards the hand. The very light around them was being sucked into the vortex of the giant hand. A loud rumbling was heard, as if the very world was protesting the stain upon existence that was the demon god Sult.
It was at this moment that Elesis glowed a bright golden white, massive white wings of energy growing out from her back. She took to the sky, completely resisting the pull of the demon god entirely.
"Sis?" Elsword asked her from down on the ground, his eyes wide in awe.
Then, Elesis raised her right hand where a ball of bright blue energy coalesced in a swirling tempest.
"Begone demon! You do not belong on this world!" She spoke, her words clear and resonating as if some great being was speaking instead of the young woman herself.
Massive blue chains shot out of the ball in front of her hand towards the demon god's arm that was slowly growing larger.
The chains wrapped around the giant arm. With a loud hissing sound from the demonic flames and energy attempting to erode them, they held on to it and began pulling the arm back into the summoning circle.
The fight was a struggle of wills and power unseen in the world for many decades.
The demon god's hand was shaking and struggling to remain in the dimension, but the chains held strong, pulling it down into the summoning circle.
When it was little more than the hand remaining, a ball of purple and black energy formed at it's pointer fingertip.
"That doesn't look good" Add said worriedly from his perch on his flying machines. The energy in that ball was easily enough to wipe out the entire mountain and nearby cities.
Just as the hand was almost completely pulled back into the circle, it fired a beamlike blast at Elesis who could not dodge, lest she break her concentration.
"SIS NOOOOOOOOO!" Elsword screamed in panic before doing the only thing he could to protect her. He jumped as high as he could towards the blast, hoping in his heart of hearts that he could at least weaken the blast. He would not lose her for a second time.
"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" He screamed as he flew through the air. And with a flash of red energy, he swung his claymore at the beam mere meters away from his sister.
It did close to nothing as the beam overwhelmed him and Elesis. However, the chains had done their job, and the hand had disappeared, shattering the summoning circle.
BOOM
A massive explosion rocked the land as the beam finished it's ascent into the sky.
Then, when the dust and ash settled, the sky began to clear, and the sun shone again. All across the continent, the storms disappeared and light washed over the land. However, Elesis and Elsword were nowhere to be seen.
The search went on for days after the incident, but the two siblings could not be found. They were gone.
Elesis was the first to wake from her deep sleep in a soft bed to the sound of a woman yelling. It was not very light wherever she was and something heavy was laying across her stomach. Deciding to see exactly what was laying on her before anything else, she saw it was her brother Elsword snoozing in a deep sleep. She smiled and ruffled his red hair with her right hand, completely ignoring the yelling of the woman next to her.
"I'm glad you're okay little brother. I don't know what I would do if I lost you" She thought before sitting up and letting the young boy rest on her lap.
Then she acknowledged the yelling woman.
It was a rather short lady, being about the same height as Aisha if not a little shorter with two long black twin tails tied with blue ribbons, Light skin, a white short dress that looked a bit worse for wear, and a blue bow around her neck. Her blue eyes were narrowed furiously as she yelled at the two siblings.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY CHURCH?" The lady yelled, seemingly furious at being ignored.
"Easy there. You'll wake up my little brother. I don't know how I got here. I just woke up in this room" Elesis responded with both her arms held up placatingly. This seemed to calm the woman a bit, causing her to stop yelling.
"So you just woke up in my church? And it just happened to be on my bed that I've been saving for my darling Bell?" She asked with her little fists on her hips and her right eyebrow cocked, showing her incredulousness.
"Yes. I know it's hard to believe, but it's true" Elesis replied, shaking Elsword's shoulder to wake him up.
The woman narrowed her eyes as if to discern if the red haired young lady was lying, however it seemed that she wasn't lying. As surprising as that was, it was the truth and she couldn't find any lies in the young woman's words.
Sighing, the lady slightly deflated before addressing Elesis.
"Okay, I believe you. You two get off my bed and get out of here" She said, pointing her thumb towards the staircase not too far away.
"Right, thank you" Elesis replied, content enough that the woman believed her.
"Let's go brother" Elesis said, picking her still half awake brother off of her lap and placing him on the floor next to the bed. That seemed to wake him up fully.
She got off the bed right after and pulled her brother after her up the stairs. He could be hard to reason with when he just got up, so she decided to do her sisterly duty and bring him with her, ignoring his protests for her to slow down.
When they exited the staircase, they found themselves in a very run down church. Letting go of her younger brother at the entrance to the church, Elesis looked around.
This was certainly not Lanox.
"Where are we sis?" Elsword asked from beside her.
This city was certainly nowhere they had ever been before.
"I don't know El. I don't know" She said softly, placing a comforting hand on her little brother's shoulder.
"Hey! I told you not to call me that. I'm not a kid anymore" Elsword complained, a small blush of embarrassment on his face at being treated like a little kid by his big sister yet again.
"Alright. I won't call you that again today" Elesis said with a grin on her face, patting Elsword on his head.
"Whatever. So where is everyone?" Elsword pouted before asking his big sister where the El search party was.
"I think we got split up by that beam, but lets not worry too much. I'm sure we'll find them" Elesis said with very little worry. She was sure that they had just gotten sent somewhere else by the beam and they could find a mage or sorceress to teleport them back to Lanox. It was a simple plan that would cost almost no gold. So what was the need to worry and get her sweet little brother worried?
All's well that ends well.
At least that's what she thought. Little did she know, she was no longer in the same universe as the El search party.
AN: Okay, so I recently re watched the Elsword anime and really liked it, so I thought I would try my hand at writing this little side story. Don't expect too much from this as it's a simple little project. Do let me know if you want to see more.
