A/N: this might be the only extra I make in this. It was the one I wanted to see myself the most happening. Hope you enjoyed this, and thanks to Jonesfandomfanatics for beta reading this, even if Google Doc did try to be a pain in the a**.

The morning after her birthday.

Rueben woke up feeling slightly disoriented, it was as if the whole room was shifting up and down in a constant rhythm. Rubbing his eyes, he realized that he was inside the Captain's quarters of the Jolly Rogers. He looked down and saw Hope's blond hair splayed out over his torso, her hot breath wafting over his chest. His mind caught up with the fact that they'd slept together for the first time last night. It had taken him by complete surprise, but it had been so special. As he began to fully wake up he realized that his body was currently reliving the moments from the night before; his cock was slowly waking up too. The warm body pressed to his side didn't help his predicament.

Hope shifted in her sleep, her arms tightening around his waist, her leg slipping between his, brushing over his arousal. Rueben had to bite his lips not to groan out in pleasure.

Gently he pushed the hair away that had fallen over her face, and gazed at her features. She looked so calm in her sleep. He sometimes marveled at how this woman had become such a big part of his life. He knew they shared love, and he would love nothing more than to share the rest of his life with this woman.

"Hmm," Hope mumbled and blinked her eyes, once she managed to focus on him her smile widened. "Morning," she said in a raspy voice, as she woke from her deep sleep. Rueben wasn't sure he'd seen her this relaxed before. They'd never slept in the same bed, not even for a cuddle, so this was a first that he would savor and remember.

"Good morning," he cupped her face and rubbed his thumb over her cheek. "How are you feeling?"

Hope shifted her body, a small winch flashed over her face, "I'm a bit sore," she shrugged. "But I kinda expected that." Hope rose so she could look at him, her leg now encased between his, and when his cock rubbed against her thigh her eyes lifted in surprise. "Wow someone is ready to go again," she chuckled.

"Fuck," Rueben exclaimed, rubbing his face with his hand. "Sorry about that, but it's hard to control when a beautiful woman is squirming around in my lap."

"I bet," she smirked, and lifted herself closer, before claiming his lips in a deep slow kiss.

Rueben cradled the back of her head, letting her set the pace of this kiss, his other hand trailed over her side, slipping under the covers. She hummed into his mouth when his searching fingers trailed over her hip and shifted to her backside. Her skin was soft under his fingers.

Several long moments later, Rueben pulled back, and when she shifted her leg closer to his erection he groaned, "Not fair, my love." He glanced around, "What time is it?"

"I've no idea." Hope lifted herself and looked out of the window. "Shit!" she jumped off the bed and scrambled to search the pile of clothes they'd discarded last night. "Where's your phone?"

"Pants," he supplied and sat up while trying to comb out his long hair.

"Fuck, fuck!" Hope cursed, looking at his phone then her frantic eyes looked at him. "My parents will be here in less than five minutes."

"What, why?" Rueben scrambled off the bed and reached for his pants, still in Hope's hands. Hope threw them to him and proceeded to search for her clothes.

"They agreed to help me move my gifts to my place this morning," she offered in explanation, while slipping into her underwear. Then she grabbed her dress and put it on.

Rueben had managed to put on his pants, and was attempting to straighten out the rumpled bed. When he turned to look at her, she'd turned her back to him and asked for his help to fasten her dress, he asked, "How will you explain the dress and me still wearing these fancy clothes?"

"Oh, for fuck sake!" she grumbled and combed her hands through her hair. Hope paused and looked at him with a grin, "My magic! I can use my magic." She wiggled her fingers in front of her.

"You can do that?" he gaped at her. "I've never seen you change clothes with your magic."

"Well, it's only last week Regina introduced it to me," Hope shrugged, and closed her eyes, then she moved her hands over her dress. Magic shimmered from her hands and in a swirling bluish smoke her blue ball gown vanished, once the smoke was cleared she was dressed in a pair of leggings and a casual sweater. "Yay, I guess I'm a natural at this."

"Wow!" Rueben gaped at her, completely forgetting the shirt he'd picked up. Shaking himself out of his stupor he muttered, "Could you change my clothes?"

"Sure," she stepped up to him and motioned with her hand. "Put on your shirt first."

He quickly slipped on the white dress shirt, then hastily buttoned it. Rueben spread his arms out, letting her know he was ready with a nod.

Again she focused her magic and moved her hands over his body, he didn't feel a thing but seconds later he was dressed in a pair of what looked like his usual jeans and a button down blue shirt. Nothing showed that he'd be wearing clothes from last night.

He reached over and cupped her face and gave her a quick kiss. "You're fucking brilliant, darling."

Hope beamed and a blush crept up her neck, "Thanks."

"Let's go up on deck before they arrive," Rueben urged and hurried to the door. Hope followed him while she tried to sort her hair into a messy ponytail. He hoped that the look she went for would just show that they hadn't bothered too much with getting ready this morning. Not that they'd had sex onboard her father's ship.

They rushed to the deck and hurried to stand by the large table filled with gifts. Hope began looking them over, "Good thing my mother did a cloaking spell on this pile last night."

"Yeah." Rueben slipped up behind her and wrapped his arm around her waist, then he dipped his head and gave her a small kiss behind her ear. Hope leaned back against him and hummed.

"Good morning, I see you came early," Emma's surprised voice sounded from the gangplank.

Both Hope and Rueben whirled around, still feeling slightly breathless from their hurried attempt to hide that they'd spent the night here.

"Yeah," Hope mumbled and slipped from his embrace. She walked over to greet her parents. "Morning, Mom, Daddy." She gave them both a hug, while Rueben stood by the table trying to get his heart to beat at a normal rate.

When the group walked over to him he said, "Good morning." His eyes flickered nervously between them, trying to see if they'd detected something. But for now, both Hope's parents were beaming at them, with a small sigh of relief he added, "It was a great party yesterday. Seemed to have been a success."

"Aye, it was a grand party," Killian said and smiled at his daughter. "Fit for a beautiful girl." Then he waved his hand to the pile of gifts, "So let's start sorting through that pile there, aye."

Everyone agreed, and the group worked on packing the gifts in the boxes and bags her parents had brought along. It would take them a few trips back and forth between their cars and the ship before everything was taken care of. Rueben worked alongside Hope, not paying much attention to what her parents spoke with each other about.

Once everything was packed up they stood on the deck and spoke a bit more about the party. Suddenly Killian exclaimed, "Emma, I'll just pop down into my cabin and see if I have left that book I wanted to read the other day. I couldn't find it anywhere back home." Emma nodded and smiled before she continued to talk with Hope.

Rueben followed Killian's form retreating to go below deck, he rubbed his neck nervously, hoping they'd left the room clean and tidy. He glanced over at Hope who was biting her lip nervously, her fingers trailing idly over the surface of the table.

Minutes later, Rueben watched as Hope's father emerged from the hatch. One look at Killian showed a frown on the old pirate's face, his fist clutched at his side. Once his eyes landed on Rueben the blue eyes glinted with something ominous; not quite anger but still some sort of indignation. Rueben gulped and stepped closer to Hope, who looked up at him. When he nodded towards her father approaching them she took one look and muttered, "Fuck."

Emma looked between the two young ones and her husband, her brows pinched in a frown too, "Darling, what's the matter?" She stepped over to her husband and placed her hand on his arm.

Slowly Killian lifted his hand and uncurled his fingers, nestled inside his palm was Rueben's bolo tie, the eagle clasp and cufflinks.

"Why did these lay on the table down below?" Killian said in a strained voice as if he was trying to keep himself calm.

"Bloody hell," Hope mumbled and swiped her hand over her still unruly hair. "Well, you see that is because, you know—" She stopped, shaking her head then looked at her mother, "Mom."

Emma was blinking at the items in Killian's hand, then she looked at her daughter, before her eyes slipped to Rueben. The knowing grin that spread over her face had Rueben gulp down nervously. It was quite obvious how these things had ended up in the captain's quarters.

"Did you two—" Emma waved her hand between Hope and Rueben, "down in… eh last night?"

Rueben glanced at Hope, he wasn't sure how much she wanted to reveal to her parents.

"Daddy, it's not really what you think—" She stopped once Killian raised an inquisitive eyebrow, letting her know that he did not believe her words. Hope gulped down then sighed, "Okay maybe it is exactly what you think—"

"Killian," Emma said in a low voice. "Don't make this such a big deal."

"Bloody hell!" Killian exclaimed, clenching his fingers around the items in his hand. "This is a bloody big deal," he looked at his daughter. "When did you ever think it would be a grand idea to do… that? Here on my ship—"

"Sorry, Daddy," Hope looked down and slumped her shoulders. Rueben wanted to reach out to grab her hand but he was not sure it was wise to do so right now. He wasn't exactly certain of how angry the pirate really was. He hoped that the man was just a bit shaken by the fact that his girl is growing up.

Killian glared at Rueben, "You—" He pointed his finger at him, the bolo tie had slipped through his fingers and swayed back and forth in the gentle breeze. "Did you think it was a grand idea to take my daughters, eh, virtue?"

"Daddy!"

"Killian—" Emma stepped in front of her husband, her hands on his shoulders. "Look, I know how you feel about all of this." Her voice broke a little, "But they are adults, you can't forbid them to do, that."

Rueben glanced over at Hope, she had her arms crossed over her shoulder and when she caught his eyes she rolled them. Then she huffed out, "Come on Mom, can't you even call it what it truly is. Yeah, so what if I had sex last night?"

It was quite comical to watch how the old pirate cringed at the word, Rueben imagined that Killian had to have lived a life where such words, and worse, had been frequently used. He guessed it changed when it was your own children.

"But on my ship?" Killian asked and stepped around Emma, looking back and forth between Rueben and Hope.

Rueben rubbed his neck but kept his gaze on Hope's parent's, he wasn't sorry that he'd slept with Hope last night. As Emma already confirmed, they are both adults.

"Yeah, okay that might have been a bad move," Hope sighed. "But look, I hadn't really planned for it to happen last night, it well—" she shrugged, "you know sort of happened. I wanted it to happen, and I knew my friends would have been at home, and I didn't want them to eh… you know hear us." She blushed and looked down while her father groaned.

"I do not need details on anything that happened here on my ship last night," he told them while glaring at them both. "In the future let's be clear that you will not be using my ship to engage in… in—"

"Sex, intercourse, lovemaking, mating, coitus, copulation, fornication, boinking," Hope rattle off, at each word she flipped up another finger as if counting. "Do you need more verbs?"

Killian cringed at each word, and a red tinge rose to his face, while his wife was currently doubled over in laughter.

"Not on my ship," Killian said firmly, as he tried to ignore his wife and her obvious mirth over his uneasiness by his daughter's straightforwardness.

"Duly noted," Hope said with a smug smile, then stepped over to her father and nodded to his hand. "Could we have Rueben's stuff back, please?"

"Aye." Killian slipped the bolo tie, the eagle clip and the cufflinks into Hope's hand. Then he rubbed behind his ear. "I'm sorry for my outburst, I'm still getting used to you growing up, my little love," he grinned sheepishly.

"I know, Daddy, I love you," Hope hugged her father and kissed his cheek.

"But that doesn't give you a right to use my ship for your interludes with your boyfriend." Killian glared over at Rueben who smiled meekly at Hope's father.

"Don't worry, it won't happen again." Hope smiled and stepped back, then mumbled, "At least not here on your ship."

Killian nodded firmly and glared at his wife who had stopped laughing and was now wiping tears out of her eyes. "Are you quite finished, love?"

"Oh, I'm all done. Seriously Killian, why make such a big deal out of this?" Emma waved her hand towards Rueben and Hope, "They're in love, it's clear as day that they share something special. Why shouldn't they eh… make love?"

"I just don't need to know about it," Killian grumbled.

"Aye aye, Captain," Hope saluted her father with a grin.

Killian shook her head and muttered, "Our work here is done, let's get the gifts back to Hope's place. Aye?"

"That is a great plan," Rueben said and shifted nervously on his feet, he could still feel Killian's eyes following his every move.

As they stepped off the ship, Hope slipped her hand into Rueben's and looked up at him, "That was fun."

"No it wasn't," Rueben gulped down and looked towards her parents who were walking further ahead of them. "I'm pretty sure your father would have disemboweled me had you not been here."

"Nah, Daddy loves you," she rested her head on his shoulder and said. "He just needs to remember that I'm growing up to be a woman I guess." She shrugged, and laughed, "But it was fun."

When Rueben spotted Killian sending a curious look back at them he sighed, "But he won't ever forget that I took your 'virtue'—" he made quotation marks, "on his ship."

Hope laughed wholeheartedly at this, "He'll survive it, I'm sure."

"If nothing else, your mother seemed cool about it?"

"I think she is calmer about me growing up, I guess. She did have my older brother when she was very young, so…"

"Hmm," Rueben agreed, this morning had certainly taken a different twist than he'd expected. Waking up wrapped up in Hope's arms had been amazing and he'd seriously wanted for them to have had the time to pick up from last night. But it would have to wait, he guessed. "So what are we doing later?" He looked down at her and waggled his eyebrows suggestively.

"Oh, I think we could find a few things to do later tonight," Hope said and reached up and cupped his face, pausing their steps. She rose on her toes and pulled him down for a kiss. This woman was amazing and perfect, he was sure that whatever happened in their future it would be filled with sweet, passionate moments like they shared last night. They both ignored the clearing of throats further down the path for a few short moments before they walked to his truck.
