Came up with this binging Supergirl and Flash. Going to try and keep a bunch of the storylines from the shows within this, but there will be minor changes. Because that's creative writing for you.

~ Missing My Doe ~

Valentine's Day- 2050.

"Shrap! Shrap! Shrap!" Nora screamed as she human-ran into the home, stopping inside the mudroom to hang-up her stuff and take off her shoes. "Shrap!" She tossed her stuff down. "I am SO freakin' late! Ugh!"

"That you, Nora?" A voice from the kitchen called.

"Yeah. Sorry I'm late."

"For a speedster?"

"Ha ha," Nora felt the sarcasm. "Give me literally a minute I'll be—"

"No need! Just get your ass in here!" The voice cheered back. Although said with harsh words the tune of the voice was comical.

Nora slipped off her brown jacket and made her way to the back of the home that she's lived in for three years. A simple house but one shes always adored growing up. It almost reminded her of that Gilmore Girls tv show she, Leia and a few other friends have binged...Except four bedrooms instead of two, two bathrooms (top floor, bottom floor). A modernly sized kitchen with farm sinks, counter with bar stools but a nook area towards the backdoor. A way more schway home. "What are you doing, Doe?" Nora turned the corner and nearly jumped when she came into contact with the other person" Meadow!"

"Nora! Rao!" Meadow shouted in her own horror. "Don't spook me."

"You told me to get my ass in the kitchen."

"Yeah but...I don't know, I wasn't expecting so quickly." The honey blonde laughed. "Its you. You're almost always late. Besides I REALLY wanted to make this. It's Valentine's Day."

"Hallmark romance dweeb." Nora smiled.

"Hey, I found this really cool ring upstairs." Meadow smiled. Nora felt her heart drop; WHAT? Meadow reached into her pocket and pulled out a little gold ring with a red shaped shield around it. "Any idea what it is?"

Nora examined it. "I think its my moms." Iris had been over the day before visiting the two. "I'm going over there tomorrow to help her and Dad with some stuff. I"ll keep it for now." She stuck the ring into her finger to keep it safe. "Now can I be excused so I can at least look as nice as you?" Nora bashed her eyes playfully in joking-like manner, knowing the answer ahead of time.

"Me?" Meadow looked down at herself; A peach loose t-shirt, gray double button high waist jeans and apron over herself. Splashes of sauces, flour, chocolate and other food messes splattered across her apron. And barefoot. "Not that hot but OK." The five foot seven woman shrugged.

"You're just as quick as me." The five foot one girl spat out.

"Ha. Sure, OK." Meadow winked. She leaned over quickly and planted a kiss on Nora's cheek. "Now that was quick."

Roughly an hour later, Nora and Meadow were sitting outside. Complete opposite with Nora being the science-y dweeb and Meadow the artsy-dweeb. Nora couldn't help but admire the decorations that Meadow had created for them in the backyard; Twinkle lights surrounding them under the patio canopy, a 2000s pop hit playlist playing softly in the background. "You really went out."

"Well its a special day and I wanted to make it special." Meadow admitted, spinning the alfredo fettuccini on her fork then poking into the shrimp. "Three years is like thirty years."

Nora nodded. The two had been best friends since forever but only recently began going out four years ago. Officially three years because Meadow needed the one year to be comfortable with herself, but Nora waited for her. So this is what Mom and Dad felt like growing up. Crushing and dating best friend. She couldn't help but look her best friend up and down; Her honey blonde she curled (two colored pieces on her left side that were turquoise and hot baby pink), strapless black mini dress with splashes of lavender, sapphire blue and rose pink with short brown gladiator heels. "You're cute."

"You're cute!" Meadow complimented back as she admired Nora's outfit. Purple blouse with black ribbon bow around the collar, a cream white skirt and black heels. Two necklaces; a silver choker necklace and a gold mini-coins type necklace. that danged a little under the ribbon bow strings. Simple curly hair that Meadow adored. She wished she could rock the same amount of short hair but she never dare try. "This seems way too much for just Valentine's Day."

"I'm Hallmark's love child. Sue me."

"God, dude!" Nora laughed. "Hey I'll be right back. Gotta use the bathroom."

"Sure thing."

Nora went back into the house, but she avoided the bathroom. Nora went up directly into her and Meadow's bedroom and kept the lights on a minimum to avoid Meadow from looking up for any reason. Nora went into the closet that the two shared and grabbed a chair to step onto, getting to the top shelf and reached far enough to grab a maroon red velvet box. She opened it to examine the beauty inside; A silver band that her mom had given to her, the same Barry and given Iris, but a small modification to it. A little green emerald in the center. "Perfect!"

Nora's phone rang and the I.D read work. "Are you kidding me?" She picked it up. "Hello?"

Outside Meadow was cleaning up the dishes when she saw Nora come out. She was smiling until she noticed a little frown on Nora's face. "Hey, what's up?"

"Doe I am so sorry. Work just called." She sighed. "CCP found a warehouse with those missing military tanks and airplane jet engines that were missing and the guard who was watching them was attacked and killed. Now they're suspecting meta-humans are on the case."

"Oh, can I help with anything?"

"No."

"Excuse me, what was that Vinny Gambini?"

"One time, Meadow. One. Time." Nora rolled her eyes. "And it wasn't YOU as Marisa Tomi. It was your cousin."

"Your point?" The two laughed. "I might be back late. I'm so sorry again. Frozen yogurt on me tomorrow, promise."

Meadow slowly nodded. The two leaned in for a goodnight kiss as Meadow knew she would be asleep before Nora got home. "Be safe."

Nora was still out at midnight. Meadow could only assume she was back at the lab at CCPD working on everything. Meadow finished some of the work she had been working on prior to beginning dinner. It wasn't her favorite job in the world but she had to make some kind of income. Freelance writing. Mostly she had edits and proofreading assignments within the content of freelance writing. Occasionally freelance design.

Someday she'd get out.

Half past eleven Meadow had thrown on her favorite pajamas; A light pink long sleeve pajama top and white pajama shorts with gray socks. She laid there reflecting about her day...When a blue light appeared above her head. "What the skittles?"

Nora returned at 1 AM. She had attempted every conclusion to the case but nothing had come up. The head captain at CCPD had told her to go home for the rest of the night and take the day off.

Nora arrived back home, dropped her stuff off on the wall and then got up into the bedroom swiftly changing into her t-shirt and sweat pants. Although now Nora noticed that Meadow was missing. "Meadow?" She called aloud. "Meadow?" Nothing. "Doe!?" She yelled again. She thought for a moment trying to think where her girlfriend had gone. She had only one idea and left to sleep on that.

In the morning Nora awoke and glanced around...Something was off. The room was...Different. It wasn't yellow daisy painted, it was gray. In fact...Most of the stuff in the room wasn't her own stuff. Or Meadow's. "What the hell!?" Nora shouted.

The brunette climbed out of the bed and looked for her clothes. But they were gone. In fact the closest was filled with mens clothing, nothing of hers or Meadows. "What kind of prank is this?" Nora questioned.

She practically tumbled down the stairs calling out Meadows name. "Meadow?" Nora yelled. "Meadow?" Nothing. "MEADOW!" Nothing for ten seconds. "OK, she would had come here by now..." Nora paused and looked around the whole home. "Why is everything different?" She glanced at a photo of a family on a wall. "Who are these guys?"

Nora walked into the kitchen. Again, it was different. "This is so weird." She said. Nora pulled her phone out and looked for Meadow's number, then called it. Straight to voice mail. "She rarely has it on voice mail." She began calling another number and waited a few moments. Finally, a pickup. "Hey, aunt Kara?"

"Nora? What's wrong?"

"Nothing...I know it's early over in California, but I had a question."

"Sure...What is it?"

"Where's Meadow?" There was a moment of silence on the other end. "Kara? Is Meadow over with you?"

"Meadow? Nora, are you feeling well?"

"Yeah. Why ask?"

"Oh...Honey," Her voice weak. "Meadow died a few year back. Remember?"

Nora froze...Dead?
