"Luisa, the donkeys, have gotten out again," Osvaldo called.
"I'm on it," Luisa called back. She started picking up the donkeys. She knew exactly why they were out. Antonio had sent every animal in the Encanto out searching. Even after the doors flickered out, he still held out hope. Tío Bruno's door flickered out, and he came back. We just have to keep on looking.
She saw she had all donkeys accounted for except one. She looked around, noticing it wasn't around. In the distance, she spotted something that looked like a donkey on one of the mountains. She let out a low groan. "Estos culos son dolores en mi trasero," she murmered.
She started to walk towards the mountains. "Luisa," Abuela called. "Where are you going?"
"One of Osvaldo's donkeys got up in the mountains," Luisa said.
"I keep telling him to get his fence fixed," Abuela said. "Don't go too far. It's not safe to leave the Encanto alone."
"I know, Abuela," Luisa said.
"I know it's tempting," Abuela explained. "I've thought about leaving to search as well. I can't lose another one of my Nietos. Your mamá, papá, tía y tío no pueden tomar otro corazón roto."
"I'll be right back, Abuela," Luisa promised. She then ventured into the mountains. She climbed up towards the donkeys. She had secretly started learning how to scale the mountains. She had no real reason to learn this skill. It was just something she did in her free time, which Abuela gave her more of since the Casita collapsed.
Once she was where the donkey was, she took a deep breath. "Señor Ortiz needs to fix his fence," Luisa sighed. She threw the donkey over her shoulder. Before she could climb down, she noticed something on the path. It was a bright red cloth.
She slowly approached it. She lifted it into her hand. It was a red bow. Dolores's red bow. Luisa felt something she hadn't felt in a while. Luisa had a surge of hope. Hope that she'd one day get to see her Hermana and primos. They now finally had a place to start looking.
Luisa started to climb down the mountain with vigor. I need to get this information to mi familia.
Bruno Madrigal sat in his room. After all of the pestering, he was finally going to do it. He was gonna have a vision. He was going to try and see Isabela, Camilo, and Dolores. Maybe today, on the day it mattered most, he'd finally have a good vision.
He saw a chameleon. When his primo was in a vision, he would first appear as a chameleon. He chased after it. "Where you, guys?" Bruno muttered under his breath. He didn't see his primo, but instead, he saw Dolores.
"Dolores," Bruno declared. "There you are."
That's when he noticed she was trembling. There was some sort of dark liquid on her hands. "papi por favor dime que eso no es Sangre," Bruno muttered. Behind her, there was a bloody mass in the background. The vision ended shortly after that, leaving Bruno in a state of shock.
