"Dolores, mi pequeña canción, you need to speak up," Felix said. "We know you're innocent. However, the people in town don't. Speak to them. They want you hanged, Dolores. They think you killed Isabela."

Dolores tried to speak up. She tried to tell them the truth, but no words came from her mouth. She had been awake for three days, and she hadn't said a word. Mariano took his girlfriend's hand into his.

"Please speak up," Mariano pleaded. "Do it for me. If you die, then all of our plans will be ruined. Our life together will never happen. I don't want to lose you, mi amor. I love you."

Again, Dolores found herself unable to speak. "They're gonna want her head by the end of the week," Abuela explained. "I don't think we'll be able to hold off the entire town. I don't even think Casita's abilities are that strong."

"Just say one word, mi amor," Mariano pleaded. The room was filled with silence so thick it could only be cut with a knife. Pepa and Felix left the room and made a line for their own. Abuela chased after her daughter and son-in-law.

She was shocked at the sight. They were both packing suitcases. "Mi dulce gota de lluvia, what are you doing?" Abuela asked. Pepa looked at her mother with tired eyes. Her eyes were pink, and she had a rain cloud over her head.

"Felix and I have decided," Pepa explained. "We're taking our kids and leaving. The Encanto is no longer safe for us. Antonio has already agreed to leave. Once Camilo is in better health, we're going past the mountains to start a new life."

"This is a bad idea," Abuela said.

"We're not going to sit by as our child is killed," Felix said.

"Just trust me," Abuela said.

"Yeah, because you handled family matters so well in the past," Felix muttered as she left.

Camilo's eyes finally flickered open. His eyes looked around the room. The memories of the day he was rescued flooded back. Isabela is dead. I was almost buried right beside her. I was stuck in a coffin with her body. I almost died.

Camilo heard voices outside of his room. "We just need more time," Abuela said.

"You've had plenty of time," Osvaldo shouted. "I don't care if she's a Madrigal. A murderer is a murderer. No matter what bloodline they come from. If she's guilty, which Bruno's vision makes it look like she is, then Dolores Madrigal must be hanged for the murder of Isabela Madrigal!"

"Ten paciencia, Osvaldo," Abuela pleaded. "We'll have answers soon."

"We've been patient enough," he yelled. Camilo gasped at the conversation. They were planning on killing his Hermana. He couldn't let this happen. He wasn't there, but he knew there was no way Dolores killed Isabela. That was her cousin. Why would people even think that?

"You have until Friday," Osvaldo said. "If you can't prove us otherwise, we hang the puta."
