"I know how we can prove Dolores's innocence," Luisa announced, bursting into Mirabel's room. Mirabel looked up from the book she was reading. "We'd have to get started on it now. It might take a day or two to complete."

"I'm up for anything," Mirabel said. "I don't want her being Isabela's killer. No Puedo perder a otra hermana."

"There's only one thing left to do," Luisa said. "Dolores can't speak to defend herself, and we don't know how much Camilo knows. The only thing to do now is to search where they found them."

"I like your thinking," Mirabel stated. "However, it won't work. We don't have the time to get there and search. Dolores's set execution date is Friday, Though I wish we could search there."

"We know where to look now," Luisa declared.

"That place is probably crawling with violent criminals," Mirabel argued. "Sería una marcha de la muerte."

"Not if I help," a voice said. Camilo entered the room, using his new cane to move around. Julieta's food could heal most of the injuries, but it would take longer to get the other ones if they healed.

"I have the best grasp of that place other than Dolores," he said. "I don't think it would be a good idea for her to go back."

"Can you even scale the mountain?" Mirabel asked.

"There are pathways," Camilo stated. "They're very rocky, but you can walk."

"Can we even sneak out without people realizing?" Mirabel asked. The security in the Encanto had gone up. People were always perched at the top of the mountains. Abuela put them there to ensure no other citizens were forcefully taken out. The citizens agreed to make sure Dolores didn't fly before "justice was done."

"Who said it would be a secret?" Luisa asked. "I'm sure Abuela will agree if we tell her we're getting evidence. She wants Dolores to be innocent too. I think it's our best chance. If we don't do this, a potentially innocent woman will be hanged."

Dolores lay in her bed. She had come to peace with knowing she was going to die. It'll make up for the fact that I caused Isabela's death. Maybe I'll see her again. Nursery sisters reunited once more. However, the truth should be out there. She couldn't say it, though, and Camilo didn't exactly know what went down that day since Dolores never had the chance to tell him.

She pulled out her diary. She hadn't written in this since she was twelve. She opened to the first blank page and started writing..

No Puedo perder a otra hermana; I can't lose another sister.

Sería una marcha de la muerte; It'd be a death march.
