Disclaimer: I don't own Dragon Ball/Z/Super/Kai/GT

I'm kind of new to this as this would be my first story and as well a my first story in the Dragon Ball fandom. I have been working on this project off and on for almost over a year now, and I think it is ready for prime time. Hope you all enjoy and don't be afraid to tell me if you think this story sucks, although tell me in a way in which I can improve, please.

Chapter 1 – The Mysterious Super Saiyan!

While today was a pretty decent day, the sun shining and hovering undisturbed in the cloudless, blue skies of Mount Paozu. Son Gohan however, was feeling far from decent. If anything, looking out of the window before him and taking in the swaying leaves on the plethora of trees outside his home as well as the light swaying of the plentiful, green grass, was making him realize just how far from decent he really felt. For a year now, he has yet to hear anything from his father, and as each day continued to passed by, his hope of him returning diminished more and more. In fact, saying that he outright missed him was a huge understatement because, personally, he felt as if words couldn't describe just how much he truly missed him. His routine, since arriving back on Earth, has been nothing short of a bland one.

If not doing his share of the chores around the house, he was studying and doing his homework, which he had the pleasure of catching up on since his return, and if he wasn't doing that, then he was in deep thought about both his father. Truthfully, while he did enjoy spending time with his mother, the only fun part of his day was when he spent time playing with Icarus, or just went outside in general. For a reason unbeknownst to him, his mother wasn't too keen on letting him leave her sight; thus, he was unable to visit Piccolo, Krillin, or Bulma like as much as he wanted to - though, Bulma did stop by often. However, today, he supposed he could say that things finally strayed from his typical routine for the past year. After all, he had just witnessed his mother all but throw Saiaku, his private tutor, out of their home for speaking poorly about his father.

While he hadn't liked his tutor in the first place, seeing as he deliberately and outright bad mouthed his father and gave him difficult problems, it was moments like these - seeing his mother's fiery temper - made him all the more glad he choose focus more his studies, less he want to be on the receiving end of his mother's wrath. Of course, he has done some occasional training so he wouldn't fall too far behind, but was only able to do so during his break times in between his studies away from his mother's vigilant eyes or at night when he knew his mother was in bed asleep. He also chose to focus on his studies in order alleviate some of his mother's ever growing stress and anxiety, she had enough on her plate with his father - whom she had been upset with since learning of his refusal to return - and he didn't want to burden her with anything else if he could help it.

"Gohan?" Chi-Chi called out slowly, having opened his room door and peeked her head inside, strolling inside moments later with a fresh glass of lemonade in hand. Upon reaching his desk, Chi-Chi halted and set the glass of lemonade down, "Are you finished with your studies?"

Truthfully, he was nowhere near finished. After all, his homework was more or less the least of his concerns at the moment - especially, with everything going on.

"Sorry, mom, but I'm not finished." Gohan relayed to her apologetically, swiftly continuing when she opened her mouth to presumably lecture him about his studies yet again. After all, the furrowing of her eyebrows as well as her firm expression didn't go unnoticed by him. The Saiyan hybrid continued. "I just need some fresh air for a little while, and I'll be done in no time." He promised.

Chi-Chi said nothing for a moment, her hands on her hips as her black eyes shifted over to his homework. Even from here, she could tell that he was nowhere near finished with today's work. Needless to say, he had quite the bit of work he needed to tend to before tomorrow's assignments came; lest, he end up adding onto his workload. However, he has been doing nothing but working hard to catch up on his studies since he returned from Namek, and, admittingly, he did seem a bit off to her. Chi-Chi diverted her eyes back onto her son, studying him in silence. Whether or not his behavior had to do with his father or something that transpired on Namek, she wasn't sure. However, what she was certain of though, was that he could probably use a break. And, after much consideration and running over a few things in her head, Chi-Chi dropped her hands from her hips, smiling lightly, "Okay." Chi-Chi relented. "Why don't you go over to Bulma's for a little while?"

Gohan's eyes widened. She was actually going to let him go outside of their home? "Really?"

Chi-Chi nodded once. "Really," she confirmed. "But," She quickly continued, her smile falling to show how serious she was, "I don't want you gone for too long, Gohan, and I want you to call me the minute to get to Capsule Corp."

"Of course," Gohan agreed with a nod, quickly rising to his feet. "I promise."

"Good. Be careful."

"Thanks, mom! I'll be back before you know it!" And having said that, the moment his mother left his room, Gohan was taking off out of his huge, bedroom window - after changing into his gi given to him by Piccolo. He ascended to the skies with a burst of ki, Gohan halted mid-air and merely took in the scenery of his home and the forest below him for a while.

This however came to an abrupt end, as Gohan was suddenly jolted from of his thoughts upon sensing something incredibly horrifying, that left him petrified.

In the distance, he could sense a large ki, and judging by how malicious it was, it was definitely not his father. Not only that, but the ki he was sensing was immense, and, as much as he hated to admit it, it felt awfully familiar. And even if over a year has passed, Gohan didn't think he could ever forget who such a terrifying ki belonged to.

Frieza.

But how? He clearly recalled being told that his father completely destroyed Frieza and left no visible trace of him behind, so what was going on? Well, Gohan began mentally, shifting his attention in the direction he felt the ki around, he doubts he'd be able to confirm if it was actually Frieza from where he was at the moment. And, from the looks of it, it appeared as if the ki wasn't too far off from Capsule Corp, his intended destination from the start. Thoughts racing and his curiosity just as high as he was in altitude, Gohan made his way over to where he felt the ki, powering up as he did so.

As he flew the sky, he spotted a short bald figure in a in red flying up ahead. "Krillin!" He shouted out getting the monks attention, as he caught up to him.

"So," Krillin began, "you felt it, too, huh?"

Gohan nodded once. "This ki, it feels like - "

" - Frieza, yeah I know." Krillin cut him off. "Any news about your dad?!" Krillin asked desperately clearly evident in his voice, but Gohan sadly shook his head. He thought as much, looks like we're on own on for this one. Krillin could gulped fearfully at the battle to come.

After their journey to Namek together, naturally sought each other out, both drawing comfort, and strength from the others presence. They both understood just what was in store for them. They never thought that they would have to deal with this nightmare again. The same couldn't be said for some of the others, namely Tien, Chiaotzu and Yamcha.

At the rate they were flying, it wouldn't take them long to reach their destination. If anything, he made it within twenty to thirty minutes of taking off, and, to their surprise, Gohan and Krillin could feel everyone else's ki gathering around the location where the ki was. So, apparently, they weren't the only ones that noticed the ki, then. If that was the case, and everyone was just as alarmed as he was, then it was probably safe to assume that something (by no means, good) was bound to take place.

The minute that the powerful, sinister energy of Frieza hit their senses, the strongest beings on Earth immediately flew to the spot where his predicted landing destination was. It was a natural response, for all the warriors to gather to join forces against this overwhelming threat.

Vegeta, the Prince of all Saiyans, was the first to reach the location, and trailing in him from behind was the earthling warrior and baseball player, Yamcha. The scarred face earthling wore a simple long sleeved white shirt and dark blue pants, not the best fighting clothes.

The prince wasn't dressed much better, forced to wear a disgusting pink polo shirt, which was labelled 'Badman' on the back and yellow pants. He looked like a damn flower, and what was worse, is that Frieza would see him in this. The demon had already humiliated him enough for a thousand lifetimes. Forcing the prince to work for him, destroying his race and planet, and eventually torturing and killing him back on Namek. The moment he leaped into battle, Vegeta swore to rid himself of this blasted shirt.

"Frieza's ship will be landing here any moment." Vegeta declared angrily, furious at Kakarot for sparing Frieza's life. He would have thought becoming a Super Saiyan would have rid Kakarot of his soft foolish emotions, but clearly, he was wrong.

"How do you know that?!" Yamcha demanded.

"Don't question me you halfwit?!" Vegeta snapped furiously. Why was this human here? At best, he was only as strong as one of the members of the Ginyu Force. "Unlike you, I've actually fought him! Can you say the same?!"

"Surprise!" A loud voice called out from above them. Yamcha was shocked to see his girlfriend, Bulma, flying a small plane, heading straight towards them. Vegeta didn't care in the slightest, more focused on the other power level that had turned up. With a glance to his right, he could see the Namekian, in his usual purple dōgi and white turban and cape, standing at the edge of the cliff, no doubt scouring for ship.

Once the plane landed, and Bulma stepped off the plane, Yamcha, ignoring his feline friend heading towards him, shouted, "What are you two doing here?! Are you both crazy?!"

Bulma easily answered the question, "We want to see Frieza in action. Hell, I even went all the way to Namek and didn't even get a glimpse of him." The beauty complained.

"Seriously, do you know how seriously dangerous he is, Bulma?" Yamcha retorted.

Bulma rolled her eyes, particularly at his poor vocabulary, "Well duh, of course I do. If Frieza put his mind to it, he could pop the planet like a water balloon, right? Might as well have a front row seat. I want to see if he lives up to the hype."

Vegeta had his back to her, and he couldn't help glance back at her. She was certainly the oddest female he had ever come across, period. From the way she seems to causally boss him around, as if he was some common fellow and not the Prince of Saiyans, to her wacky blue afro hairdo.

'She's vulgar and quite possibly colour blind, but the woman does have guts.' Vegeta had to concede that. Though she would have been better off elsewhere. Better to die in the Earth's explosion than being killed slowly by Frieza himself.

The Saiyan resisted the urge to roll his eyes when he felt two other energy signatures reach them but didn't voice his disapproval. It was good to have some meat shields after all.

"It's Tien and Chiaotzu!" Yamcha yelled, thankful at the sight of his two friends. Being stuck here with just Bulma and Vegeta was awkward to say the least. He was always on the alert of Vegeta just turning around and blasting them into smithereens. At least he had back up now.

The bald three-eyed warrior immediately discarded his robe, leaving him in a white vest and green loose pants. Chiaotzu, a white-skinned, red-cheeked little human landed next to him, but quickly gasped in fright at the sight of Vegeta, clearly remembering the last time he had seen him.

"So Vegeta, you've decided to show your face on Earth again." Tien said coldly, glaring at the prince.

"Is that all you have to say?" Vegeta mocked him, not worried in the slightest.

"Hardly, but I've always thoughts that actions speaks louder than words." Tien snapped, before turning to his friend, with disgust palpable in his voice, "How can you stomach him, Yamcha?"

"Bring it on, loser!" Vegeta grinned viciously.

"Fine!" Tien spat, ready to fight.

"Whoa! Hey cool it!" Yamcha quickly stepped in between them, raising his hands in a surrender manner in front of Tien. "This isn't the time Tien, come on."

Tien's glares fell away, as he remembered the situation they were in. He approached Yamcha, until they stood next to each other, "I feel it whatever it is… You think it's Frieza?" He inquired, having never felt Frieza's energy until today.

Yamcha nodded, "Yeah, that's how it's looking, unfortunately."

"Enough talk!" The Saiyan Prince snapped, aggravated, why was he surrounded by such loudmouth weaklings? "And mask your power levels or do you fools want to die again?! Frieza's minions will pick you up with their scouters!" With a smirk, he looked in the direction where another fighter stood. "At least the Namekian is keeping a low profile." At least he had one warrior here who knew how lethal Frieza was.

"Piccolo!" Yamcha gasped, "He's so close and I didn't sense a thing. How long have you been standing there?"

"Long enough to hear all of your senseless bickering." Piccolo gruffly retorted, aggravated by their presence. Thankfully he could sense his pupil, Gohan, and Krillin approaching. At least those two, along with Vegeta, knew what they were in for. Tien was a strong and dedicated warrior, he could be useful, but the others were just going to get in the way.

Up in the air, closing in on the location with incredible speed was Krillin and Gohan.

"Gohan!" Krillin called out, being the first one to see the group, "Take a look down there!"

"Even Piccolo showed up!" Gohan beamed in relief. With his mentor here, the young half-Saiyan felt more confident.

"Guess were not the only ones that felt it." Krillin mused, but despite all of them rallying to fight this evil, Krillin knew they had no chance. Not unless Goku suddenly reappeared, or Vegeta managed to transform into a Super Saiyan. Though, in the case, they would probably be dead by either Frieza or Vegeta's hand.

"Hey guys!" Krillin greeted them, as he and Gohan touched down.

"Yoo-hoo! Krillin! Gohan! Over here!" Bulma shouted cheerfully, waving her hand high above her head.

"Is Goku back?!" Yamcha asked desperately, but just like before with Krillin, Gohan regretfully shook his head. "Oh no! If he's still gone when Frieza gets here...?" Yamcha trailed off, succumbing to his despair.

Piccolo's eyes widened when he saw the ship come into view, "He's here!"

All eyes, filled with terror, and hopeless, looked up into the sky to see a large, and familiar circular spaceship that looked like a distorted fruit descend from the sky and land a few dozen kilometres from them.

"They're landing." Krillin said needlessly, his teeth almost chattering in fear.

"Yep, no doubt about it, that's Frieza." Gohan murmured, fearfully. "He's still alive."

"Not only that, but there's also someone else with him…" Krillin said worriedly, as if things could get any worse. "Someone even more powerful." Currently the other power he sensed was higher than Frieza's but it was clear that Frieza was suppressing his power, and so he didn't know if this second power was actually the stronger of the two.

"Listen up!" Vegeta shouted, gaining everyone's attention. The Saiyan Prince knew Frieza and his army better than the rest of them. "Nobody is allowed to fly! We're going in on foot so we can keep our power levels hidden!"

"Ready, Gohan?" Piccolo asked, placing a reassuring hand on Gohan's shoulder.

Gohan gave him a determined nod, "Yeah."

"Piccolo! Wait! Let me get this straight!" Yamcha cried, terrified. "Frieza is the most powerful opponent we've ever faced, right?"

"Uh huh, but it gets even worse than that." Gohan was the one that answered him, "He can get even stronger than he is now. This is only the tip of the iceberg."

All those that weren't on Namek, looked absolutely horrified, and despite not being able to sense power levels, Bulma could understand the looks. They had been freaking out for a while now, just to learn that the energy that they were sensing was only Frieza's supressed power, suffice to say, Bulma understood why they looked so scared.

"Please tell me you're pulling my leg!" Yamcha gasped hysterically, "What's the point of sneaking up on him then?! We're nothing but bugs to him! Seriously tell me I'm wrong! And now he's brought a friend! How on Earth are we supposed to beat this guy?!" he cried incredulously.

"Quit your whining!" Piccolo shouted, furious at the human's snivelling. "If you'd prefer to run and hide then suit yourself! But we already know what's in store for us!"

Vegeta smirked, looking back at them all. "Finally catching on, are you? Your backwater planet is doomed."

The entire group fell into silence… and all of them were dreading their fate. They all had no chance against Frieza.

Outside of Freeza's Spaceship…

A three-pronged foot coolly crushed a small rock them moment it came into contact. The icy tyrant known as Frieza's regarded his environment disdainfully. All he could see were dust, dead shrubs and mountains, such a pitiful area. It was as boring as that miserable planet that he fought the Super Saiyan on.

However, considering the view of the planet that he had not too long ago, Frieza knew that there were more beautiful places to be seen. If he liked what he saw, perhaps he would keep this planet for his own personal collection… it would be a more fitting revenge against that filthy ape.

Fury ignited from within his soul at the thought of the Super Saiyan he battled on Namek. It was because of that filthy ape that he was now in this cosmic suit. The whole of the lower half of his body and right side of his face had been replaced with scarring and metal accoutrements covering what little was left of his organic self.

Yes, it made him stronger than before. He could now wield his full power without any strain on his body, since he didn't have to bulk up his body, but it also made it impossible to ever reach his full potential. It's why he needed to snuff the Super Saiyan out now before his power exceeded his. How he regretted never training. His natural born power had been enough to deal with anything, even his father and brother couldn't compete with his power. The only exception was Beerus, the Destroyer. But even he wasn't arrogant enough to try and cross the God of Destruction

Had he trained for a week, sometime in his life, then he would have snuffed out that Super Saiyan without any effort. Still, there was no use crying about it. Once he was done here, he would make sure to force scientists from all over the universe to find a way to regenerate him back to his normal biological form, no matter how many years it takes. With the upgrade in power from the replaced enhancements, he was strong enough to wipe out the Super Saiyan. His father had tagged along to make sure of his victory. He needed a contingency plan, after all, as he wasn't going to allow himself to lose to Goku again.

"So, this is the planet that the Saiyan calls home." Frieza said softly, closing his eyes. "How quaint. I've destroyed worse."

"We didn't come here to toy with the earthlings, my son." King Cold, Frieza's father – who dwarfed his son in size, standing at well over three meters in height – reminded the younger tyrant. "We're here for the Super Saiyan that hurt you. Yes, we shall crush the life out of him! Anyone in the universe who threatens our supremacy must be utterly conquered!"

"Between the two of us father, I'm sure we'll annihilate him." Frieza said slyly, closing his eyes. "But I'm stronger than I was before, I could probably defeat him by myself."

"I'm afraid the opponent you're so eager to face is still several hours away, Frieza. Shall we wait for him?" King Cold inquired, folding his enormously muscular arms across his chest, looking regal.

The father of Frieza looked similar to Frieza's second form, except for darker skin and he wore a royal battle armor with a cape made from such rich material that it was probably worth more than most planets. The outside was colored black, while the inside was red.

Frieza was about to answer but when he opened his eyes, he was suddenly back on the dying breaths of Planet Namek, surrounded by heat, fire and lava, while staring into the greenish-blue eyes of the Super Saiyan. Frieza gasped in fright, backing away a few steps before the hallucination disappeared. Clenching his fists tightly, enough to draw blood, purple/pink lightning like energy began crackling from Frieza's torso.

"Seems something's got your blood boiling, yes son?" King Cold drawled, "Uh-uh, we mustn't let our tempers get the best of us."

"I know that father." Frieza hissed with a malicious smirk, "I'm just eager to get my vengeance on that Super Saiyan monkey! I will make him suffer for what he did to me! I will make this whole planet suffer!"

King Cold smirked, "Yes, do be quick. I'd rather not stay too long on this pathetic little mud ball, not that I just don't love it here. I still don't see why we can't just destroy the planet right now! Force the Super Saiyan to fight on our terms!"

"You can be absolutely naughty, father. It's impressive." Frieza complimented him with a smirk, "And here I've always wondered where I picked up my knack for it."

"I take great pride in the fact I was able to teach you all the necessary skills of life." King Cold said, "Use them well."

"Indeed, I will." Frieza promised, stepping forward. "For it also happens that I have learned from you the fine art of revenge. I wonder how many earthlings we can kill in a few hours… I guess we'll find out soon. Plus, when the Super Saiyan does arrive, I want him to see the corpses of all of his family and friends!" Frieza laughed hysterically, "Hurry Goku, hurry! I've crawled back from death itself to wreak my vengeance upon you!"

Getting over their dread and despair, all of the warriors gathered on Earth were moving forward, heading straight to their doom. Currently they had to climb a large mountain that was in their path, and since they were keeping their power levels suppressed, they couldn't fly over it.

The human wanting to flee the most, but not doing so, was currently trailing everybody on the mountain. Even Bulma, with no training, was ahead, all thanks to Gohan helping her. "Why bother wishing me back to life if I'm just going to die again." Yamcha murmured, resisting the urge to flee. Life had been going so well, he definitely began to appreciate life more since coming back from the dead, and now here he was, literally climbing to his death.

Once the icy tyrant calmed down, regaining his composure, he turned to his foot soldiers, "Move out men!" He ordered firmly, "Once you find the earthlings, well, you know what to do!"

"Sir!" They all saluted, but just when they were about to move out, in a flash, they were all wiped out, much to the surprise of King Cold and Frieza.

The two tyrants looked back at all of their men lying dead on the ground, all them having been pierced through by thin ki blasts. The sound of feet landing onto the hard ground caught their attention and they turned forwards to see a teenage boy only a few dozen yards from them.

Frieza's eyes widened though when he took in the appearance of the other the newcomer standing before them. He was tall, but the hairstyle sent a shiver down Frieza's spine. It was very similar to Goku's, spiky black hair that shot out in all directions, only his hair was wilder and spikier. His facial features were identical to the Super Saiyan's, the only difference being that he had distinctive long thick, rough X shape scar running down his right cheek. He wore a burnt orange jacket, a dark blue tank-top, black pants, and dark blue boots. He also had a rather large broadsword strapped to his back that hung over his right shoulder in a black sheath with a blue strap. It was as if he was looking at child of Goku's all grown up.

But that was impossible.

"What's wrong?" The black-haired youth smirked, "You look like you've seen a ghost."

There was no way that brat could be this old, it had only been a year and a half since he last saw him. Plus, he knew for a fact that Vegeta, Nappa and Raditz didn't have any offspring. The boy was too old to be Goku's, Vegeta, or Raditz offspring, and Nappa had no children. The only conclusion was that this earthling was simply using a scare tactic. With that conclusion, Frieza regained his composure.

Okay," Frieza admitted slowly, "You have our attention. Who are you, what brings you here?"

"Who I am isn't important, and my reasons for being here should pretty obvious." The teen retorted.

"And that is...?" King Cold drawled dryly.

"To kill you of course." The black-haired teen stated bluntly

Bulma was confused, along with Puar, the flying, shapeshifting cat. Everyone had suddenly stopped, not moving a muscle. "Hey guys… What am I missing here?"

"There's new power level that have just appeared from nowhere." Krillin admitted with a confused frown.

"Yeah, and some of the energy signatures that we sensed earlier are gone now." Tien was slightly disappointed. He knew that the soldiers had been taken out, and he regretted the missed opportunity to test out his training against them. It would have been nice, to see how strong he had become compared to the elite soldiers in Frieza army before they inevitably perished at the hands of Frieza.

"Like there was a short battle and they were just wiped in instant." Yamcha told her, trying to make sense on what was going on.

"Battle? But everyone is right here." Bulma stated the obvious.

"Something big is going on behind that mountain" Yamcha declared.

Vegeta, Piccolo, and Gohan otherwise remained silent, each reaching out with their senses at the new power level that had suddenly appeared. They had never felt such a signature before, but at the same time, it felt familiar. They just couldn't place it.

Silence overtook the waste land, as the two tyrants simply stared at the Mysterious Youths with indifference. Before, Frieza suddenly began chuckling in amusement at the teens threat, not in the slightest be intimidated or even taking him seriously.

"Did you here that father, this boy truly believes he is capable of defeating us!" Frieza let out a mocking smirk, "He's even trying to use his resemblance to the Super Saiyan as some form of a scare tactic, how amusing. Or maybe he's just a fanboy? Oh, I'm terrified father, are you?"

King Cold's sarcastic chuckle was an appropriate answer.

"If only you knew with whom you were challenging right now." Frieza smirked.

"Oh, I know who you are, I've heard many stories about you over the years now, Frieza." The mysterious youth informed cryptically.

"Seems like my reputation proceeds me, even on the likes of this dull rock." Frieza boasted, "Well, not completely. Seems you failed to realize I'm the most powerful being this universe has ever seen."

"And seems you failed to realize, that you forfeited your life when came this planet." The teen swiftly rebutted.

Frieza grinded his teeth angrily, resisting the urge to just blast this punk to smithereens.

King Cold, on the other hand, just chuckled, looking smug. "I'm quaking in my boots. Did you hear that, my son? This fool believes he can take us down."

"Hmph, he's in way over his head." Frieza smirked cockily. "How's this for a final thought? The warriors that overestimate their own abilities have already sealed their own fates."

"Oh, you mean like you?" The teen quipped, enjoying the angered look that appeared on Frieza's face.

"Iru read this backwater trash's power level?" Frieza ordered to his father's elite.

"Sire his power level is a mere seven he must have gotten lucky with that sword of his," the green fish-like alien smirked believing his could take out this mystery man." I will be glad to dispose of him for you!"

"By all means do." Frieza smirked maliciously looking at the mysterious youth. "The rest of you kill anyone you see!"

Sir!" They all saluted, but just when they were about to move out again, until the youth spoke.

"Listen up grunts, I'm gonna give you all one chance surrender and leave this planet with your lives, cause there's no backing out once we start!" The Mysterious youth warned.

"Oh yeah, we'll see about that you little pu-" Began one soldier but was cut off by Iru.

"Hey, Prince Frieza gave the order to blow this brat to smithereens!" Iru barked as he raised his arm cannon before firing off a barrage of energy blast at the youth, who simply smirked as he casually deflected each into the air before harmlessly exploding away from the battlefield, causing Iru to gawk at what he had just witnessed.

The green skinned soldier could only cry out shock, as youth dashed towards with incredible speed before receiving single punch to the face that sent crashing into the ship behind him, his body falling lifelessly to the ground.

"Hm, interesting." Said an amused King Cold.

"Kill him!" Roared one of the soldiers as all of them charged the teen but before they had a clue about what was going on the boy was gone. In less than a second all of the henchmen fell on the ground dead as the boy landed and put his sword back in its sheath, before turning his attention back to Frieza.

"Sending grunts to fight your battles for you… how pathetic." The teen stated coldly.

"You know…" Frieza said slowly, "The only reason why you are still breathing is because I need something to amuse me until the Super Saiyan primate gets here!"

"One thing is certain. If nothing else, I'd say this boy is quite the comedian." King Cold mocked, as Frieza let out sinister chuckle.

"Agreed, father. It seems this boy knows his material." Frieza scorned, "That's something I could see the Super Saiyan saying!"

"Super Saiyan, eh?" The stranger murmured, "What were you saying earlier about wiping out the earthlings… you wanted it done before the Super Saiyan arrived?"

"That is what I said, wipe out humanity." Frieza stated, with a deadly leer. "Although I'm finding myself short of minions thanks to you. I guess I'll have to roll up my proverbial sleeves and dish out the carnage personally."

"No you won't." The teen said sharply, angering the tyrant. "Because now you have to deal with me, Frieza, and unlike Goku I'm more keen on tying up loose ends."

"What's a Goku?" King Cold asked indifferently, quickly becoming bored of the banter.

His son sighed impatiently, "Father, I know you're bored, but do try to keep up."

"Hmm…" King Cold raised an eyebrow, but otherwise chose to remain silent.

"So, you know that worthless monkey will be returning soon." Frieza deduced.

"Within a few hours, If I'm correct." The youth replied, "And I can promise you, the three of us won't be meeting him today."

"As it so happens, I was just about to suggest that very thing myself." Frieza informed him, surprised. "It's so nice that you and I can finally agree on something, don't you think?"

The youth smirked, "For once you're right."

"Well, then I guess all that's left is for me to decide just how I'm going to kill you. But I would like to ask you one more question before I destroy you?" Frieza asked mockingly.

"What is it?" Grunted the teen.

"Your appearance, your style of fighting... you wouldn't happen to be a Saiyan" Frieza inquired, trying to confirm his earlier suspicions.

"And if I am?" He asked with an edge in his voice.

"Then I shall destroy you before Son Goku arrives." Frieza declared with a sinister smirk, "This senseless banter is starting to wear thin on my nerves and its time you start showing me your power Saiyan. Try not to disappoint me, I'd like to get in a decent warm up until the Super Saiyan arrives."

"Oh, don't worry, I'm more than happy to show you the extent of my power, I just hope you won't be too disappointed with your little enhancements. Cause I promise you; you'll be in for one hell of a tougher fight than your battle with Goku on Namek!" The teen stated cockily.

"Hey, Frieza…" The mysterious youth called out getting the tyrants. "How bout I let you in on a little secret." He said ominously.

The teen then continued, "Goku isn't the only the only Super Saiyan, in fact I happen to be one myself!"

"What!?" Frieza shouted shocked, even King Cold's eyes widened a little.

Frieza quickly recollected himself, as he began to laugh off the teen's statement. "You almost had me there! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

King Cold even let out a few chuckles.

"I admire that you are able to bluff this far! HAHA!" Frieza mocked them.

The mysterious youth's smirk widened, as the wind noticeably began to pick up. Suffice to say, Frieza and King Cold immediately stopped laughing, once they picked up on this. Shock quickly replacing their amusement. The teens hair swayed wildly as rocks and fragments of the ground began levitating off the ground beneath his very feet. He could see the look of fear on Frieza's face, while King Cold was looking startled. Instead of releasing at once, allowing himself to be engulfed in the golden glow.

"No! It can't be!" Frieza shouted in fearful denial.

"What's going on?" King Cold wondered, startled but he was more composed than his son.

"HAAAAAAAAAA!" The teen roared, causing the earth itself, in response to the mysterious youth's pending power, to shake violently, the corpses of the many henchmen were blown away from the sudden burst of power. The ground, as well as the nearby cliffs.

For a few minutes, after the quick spike in power before Frieza's soldiers all fell, it had been silent. Deathly quiet. In a way, it was more terrifying than Frieza unleashing his power. The eerie calm before the storm, and suddenly the storm erupted. The very earth beneath them began to shake furiously, as the power coming off the stranger was absolutely mind boggling.

"Whatever it is… it's getting stronger!" Yamcha shouted, struggling to keep his feet.

Bulma had fallen on her backside, unable to stand. "This feels just like the battle on Namek over a year ago!" 'You'd think that I'd be used to this to stay standing by now,' she thought bitterly.

"It's feels like dad…" Gohan said shocked, unable to believe what he was sensing. There was no question, while it wasn't his dad's energy, they definitely were Super Saiyan. "Back on Namek, that's just as how dad's energy felt, but its stronger, much stronger!"

'Another Super Saiyan, one potentially more powerful than Kakarot?' The prince thought incredulously. 'Impossible! Kakarot and I are the only two Saiyans left! Three if you count the brat!'

Frieza fearfully backed away, with wide unblinking eyes filled with horror. This couldn't be real. There was no way he could be a Super Saiyans! However, his denials were immediately scrapped away when the warrior's eyes suddenly turned greenish-blue, as his hair stood up on end, giving it a rising, flame-like appearance.

"Those eyes... he has the same eyes!" Frieza trembled.

It was the eyes that Frieza remembered the most. Those eyes burning with righteous fury that kept Frieza up at night. Every time he closed his eyes, he could picture the Super Saiyan glaring fiercely at him, with crackling lightning from the destructing planet in the background, magnifying the effect.

Those eyes were enough to convince Frieza. He didn't need to wait for his hair to turn gold, and for the glowing golden aura engulfing him to tell him he was a Super Saiyan. His eyes spoke the truth, what made it worse was the boy looked almost identical to the Super Saiyan who had defeated him on Namek.

"So, this is the infamous Super Saiyan." King Cold mused curiously, taking in the sight of the golden warrior.

The youth smirked as he folded his arms across his chest. "What's the matter lord Frieza, you're not afraid now are you?" The teen mocked.

"I'm not scared of you!" Frieza roared, his fear succumbing to the sheer force of his hate, and he launched a bright yellow beam of energy out of his right hand straight at the smirking Super Saiyan. The moment it made contact with the Super Saiyan, a huge explosion erupted, creating a large cloud of dust, completely obscuring him from sight.

"It's begun!" Vegeta declared as a large explosion created a huge fog of dust several kilometers before them. Fortunately, they were far enough away to not be swept up in it, along with the wind blowing at their backs helped.

The power of the warrior fighting Frieza completely trumped the demon's power. There was no way that Frieza could win. You'd think that'd be a relief, but for Vegeta, it just further angered him that there were even more beings stronger than him out there!

"Come on!" Krillin shouted, charging forwards and leaping into the air, intending to fly to the battlefield. However, he didn't get far. A hand harshly grasping his wrist stopped him in his tracks.

"Get down here!" Vegeta snarled, gripping the bald-headed human's arm tighter. "What did I say?! You think you can fly past their scouters?! They'll shoot you out of the sky, go wherever you want but you better damn well walk!" The Saiyan prince threw Krillin harshly into the ground.

"Krillin, are you –" Gohan hurried over to his friend in concern, but Krillin interrupted him, unhurt.

"C'mon Gohan, you have to know some way to reach your dad, right?" The small, bald warrior asked hopefully, but Gohan looking away dashed what little hope Krillin had. "Okay then, I guess there is nothing we can do. Goku's gonna get back here and wonder why there is nothing but a bunch of rocks where the Earth used to be!" Krillin shouted, punching the ground, hard. He was forced to pull his hand out of the hole he made.

Everybody fell silent, all of them, even Vegeta, wanting Goku to appear, but it was a futile hope.

"Hey, even if Goku is running a little late, we still have Vegeta, right?" Bulma said optimistically.

"Shut up!" The Saiyan Prince snapped at her, "You haven't had one useful thing to say since you got here! Now you stay in the back and keep quiet woman! I don't have time for your stupidity right now!"

"That's enough!" Yamcha growled, "Where do you get off talking to her like that?!"

"You tell him, Yamcha!" The beauty cheered.

"Sure!" The scarred face human nodded, firmly. "I mean, she can be nosy and bossy but she's really smart." He said matter-of-factly.

"Hey!" Bulma grumbled, angrily, grabbing Yamcha's ear tightly, "You're supposed to be defending me!"

"I meant being bossy in a good way!" Yamcha pleaded, desperately wanting his ear released from her tight grip.

"Gee thanks and you're an idiot in a good way." Bulma retorted, as everyone around her began to chuckle, with Vegeta and Piccolo being the exceptions. "C'mon guys it's not funny!"

"I guess this is the last time we'll get to laugh together." Krillin sighed sadly, as the laughter died down.

Vegeta couldn't take any more of this drivel and charged towards the battle. Dying was better than listening to this!

"Hey wait!" Krillin shouted, as he and the rest of the group took off after the Saiyan Prince. Poor Bulma, was left behind, much to her fury.

The remnants from the explosion were beginning to settle, and the cloud of dust slowly dissipating, leaving a heavily smirking Frieza, confident that he had killed the golden monkey.

"While I applaud your zeal, my son, careful you don't destroy the planet." King Cold drawled. "You won't be able to get your true revenge on this 'Goku' if you uproot the playing field. Still that's one Saiyan down at least."

"I thought of that, father." Frieza assured him, "That's why I didn't use full power." Suddenly his eyes caught something from within the dissolving dust cloud, a glimpse at light yellow hair. To his horror, the Saiyan stood there, completely unharmed from his attack. Even King Cold couldn't withhold a gasp at the sight.

"Did you really think that would be enough to kill me! You better hit me with everything you got if you want walk away from this fight alive!" The teen stated condescendingly, his blonde hair swaying gently in the wind. "Now, let's try again shall we!"

Summoning a small ball of energy in his hand, Frieza shouted, furiously. "Nobody tells Frieza how to fight! No one!" The ball turned into a larger beam of bright yellow energy, twice the size of the previous one.

The young Super Saiyan calmly raised his hand before backhanding the attack off in another direction, destroying nearby mountains, and rock formations in the surrounding area. The teen then gave Freeza an unimpressed look.

"I can see you're a little slow, so I'll try to use simple words from now." The mysterious Super Saiyan blandly mocked, "Now let's try this again! You. Me. Everything you got, we clear!?"

"YOU INSOLENT MONKEY!" Frieza screamed as he charged the Super Saiyan.

The young Super Saiyan merely laughed, as he casually sidestepped the sloppy charge. Frieza attempted to backhand him, but the Super Saiyan easily parried before retaliating with a powerful right hook to the face, that sent the tyrant crashing into the ground. This served to anger Frieza even more and he threw a series of punches and kicks at the teen, which were effortlessly dodged each and blocked by the teen.

This went on for a while, until the young Super Saiyan eventually grew bored of dodging and blocking the tyrant's attacks, before catching both of Frieza's fists in mid-punch. "Is that all you got? I'm unimpressed."

Frieza sneered before he gave a loud battle cry.

He ripped one of his hands out of Super Saiyan's grip and pointed his finger, attempting to shoot the teen in the head with a Death Beam. But shockingly, even at close-blank ranged, he evaded the beam by simply tilting his head before he viciously spartan kicked the tyrant in the gut, sending him through a nearby plateau.

Frieza was quick to recover, destroying the plateau with sheer force of his power as he screamed in rage and frustration, before recklessly firing off a multitude of beams, all which the powerful warrior deflected with ease.

King Cold watched the battle with both annoyance and awe. He couldn't understand why Frieza was having such a hard time hitting a mere monkey. After all the enhancements he had given his son, surely this Saiyan couldn't have surpassed him, Super Saiyan or not. This was an embarrassment to his family.

Perhaps it was time for him to personally step in. If this goes on any longer, their family's name and reputation would be tarnished.

He smiled to himself. It has been years since he last done battle. This Super Saiyan should prove to be an interesting challenge.

The mysterious Super Saiyan for his part, was honestly underwhelmed by the fight. He had heard stories of how powerful and terrifying Frieza was. Yet, he was barely warming-up against the tyrant and Frieza was already getting desperate. His attacks were getting sloppier and sluggish.

He was almost tempted to let him live in such a state, but quickly decided against it. From the stories he had been told, a desperate Frieza was far more dangerous than a stable one. As he was now, he would destroy the planet and take himself with if it meant killing him.

Finally, Frieza stopped shooting as he attempted to catch his breath.

The Super Saiyan stood perfectly still as he coldly regarded the tyrant. "The strongest in the universe, huh? Surely, that can't be the best you can do."

Frieza sneered hatefully at the Saiyan.

"You're honestly weaker than I thought you would be." He casually walked towards the tyrant. "What a letdown. I thought you could be able to put up a much better fight than this."

Frieza growled. "You damn, monkey!"

The teen stopped walking. "Yeah, that's right, I'm a filthy monkey. And you, supposed Emperor of the Universe, got bested by a mere monkey, twice now in fact. How embarrassing, couldn't you just die."

Frieza was now shaking in rage.

"Perhaps it's best to say that you're the second strongest in the universe. Since Goku handed you you'e ass both figuratively and literally on Namek, so I'm pretty sure he would be the strongest now, wouldn't he?" The young Super Saiyan mocked even more, rubbing the salt deeper.

"How...how dare you!" Frieza yelled as sparks of his energy flew.

"Don't get to upset, as it's not something to be to ashamed of. Take pride in being the second fiddle of the universe. After all, dead men usually die with less," The teen stated before he became dead serious. "I'm done playing with you. You're weak and wasting my time. Let's end this pathetic excuse of a fight, shall we." He smirked when he saw Frieza tremble in terror.

Before the Super Saiyan could make good on his threat, movement from the corner of his eye caught his attention. He swiftly dodged a powerful punch from King Cold.

The teen smirked at this new challenge. Now things were getting interesting. "Oh, so you decided to join in on the fun too, huh?!"

"You're quite the cocky little monkey. I don't know how a mere Saiyan gained access to such power, but I can't allow this to go on," King Cold said as he cracked his knuckles. "On my family's honor, you, along with the remaining Saiyans, will die here."

"Your welcome to try," The Super Saiyan dared, never losing his smirk. "But it will be cold day in hell, if you think the the two of you together can kill me, you can't hope to match me. You see…. I'm stronger than both of you combine."

King Cold smirked. "Quite the bluff. Let's see an if you can back it up."

"Wanna try your Luck?!" Quipped the young Super Saiyan.

King Cold attempted to punch the teen again, but he evaded. Soon, the Super Saiyan was locked in battle with the galactic tyrant. He was slower than Frieza, but his attacks were more calculated, and he wasn't as predictable. It was clear that he had some former training, unlike Frieza who relied heavily on brute force.

As the Young Super Saiyan seemingly focused his attention on King Cold, Frieza saw this as his chance to rush him from behind to strike him down while he was distracted.

However, what Frieza didn't realize was that the Mysterious Saiyan was capable of sensing ki and had sensed him charging from him behind mid fight with King Cold, acting quickly he parried another punch from Frieza's father before sending a more powerful punch of his own smashing into Cold's jaw, dazing the older tyrant as he was sent rocketing far out into the distance as he crashed into a rock formation. On instinct teen to spun around with lightning-fast speed as caught Frieza's fist in time before swiftly slamming a powerful elbow into the tyrant's solar plexus, causing purple blood to spew from Frieza's mouth as he stumbled back clutching his abdomen in pain before collapsing to his knees.

"Wow, on your knees bowing to a Saiyan." The Mysterious youth mocked, causing Frieza to grind his teeth in pure unadultred rage and hatred. "Oh, how the mighty have fallen!"

Frieza roared as he recklessly charged the Saiyan once again in a fit of blind rage, only for the mysterious Super Saiyan to sidestep his reckless charge yet again, before grabbing the tyrant by his mechanical tail as he began to brutally slam and smash Frieza into the ground like a ragdoll, and then began to spin around like a tornado before suddenly releasing Frieza's tail launching him off into the sky.

"ENOUGH OF THIS!" Frieza roared, as stopped himself into the air and raised his right arm above his head, with his fist clench except for his index finger. Slowly, a giant yellow-orange, sun-like energy sphere was formed. "YOU SAID EVERYTHING RIGHT, WELL HERE TRY TO SURVIVE THIS YOU FILTHY MONKEY." Frieza exclaimed madly.

King Cold was quick to notice as he dug himself from the rubble he had been buried under, before yelling out to his son"Frieza! No! The planet can't handle that!" King Cold harshly warned the mad tyrant.

Frieza obviously didn't care and he released the energy ball. "DIE MONKEY! DIE!"

However, young Super Saiyan wasn't the least bit alarmed or afraid, as he calmly watched the Super Nova approach him and made no attempt to move, before catching catch the sun like sphere with both hands without any hesitation. He then roared as he punched the Super nova repelling back into the sky

Frieza watched speechless, as his most powerful attack was so easily repelled and quickly moved out of the way of his Super nova as it flew past, and continued watch it fly out of earth atmosphere and into space before detonating a safe distance away from the planet.

In his stupor, Frieza failed to realize he has left himself wide open, as the young Super Saiyan was quick to advantage the tyrants distracted state and moved quickly to finish off Frieza once and for all. King Cold was quick to notice this and screamed out to warn his son.

"FRIEZA, BEHIND YOU!" King Cold screamed out, getting Frieza's attention.

"HYAAAAA!" But the warning came to late, as a war cry from behind him caused Frieza to spin around and look up, startled to see the Super Saiyan already upon him with his sword drawn and raised above his head. He was too close, and too swift. Frieza had no time to react before the sword sliced through the top of his head, straight down to his waist, cutting him in half.

Frieza could no longer think. His mind was blinded and silenced with pain, and so he didn't even feel the Super Saiyan cut the rest of his body into pieces.

"HYAAAAA!" a scream silenced him, as he was into chunks and pieces of flesh and machinery with quick and surprising precision, "Well, Frieza it's been fun..." the Super Saiyan began as he calmly outstretched an open palm in towards the mutilated pieces of the once powerful and cruel emperor.

"...but all good things must come to an end!"

Frieza's agony finally came to an end when the Super Saiyan blasted his remains into ash. The universe would forever be free of Frieza's evil, and tyrannical rule.

They could see it clearly, all except Bulma and Puar. Once they reached the end of the mountain, giving them a clear view of the wasteland for kilometres, they could see Frieza's demise. It was so quick, and done so easily, that it didn't seem possible.

In one moment, Frieza was in the air, strong and imposing, despite the mechanical enhancements to his body, and the next he was cut in half, by a golden-haired man with a sword. The blow was so smooth, so efficient, that it looked like the man sliced some butter instead of the most terrifying and powerful force in the universe.

"What the hell?!" Vegeta gasped in awe at the sight. He more than anyone, was astonished at what had just happened. Unlike the others, he had a clear understanding at what Frieza was. A demon feared throughout the universe, indestructible, and he had just been turned into dust.

"Hey Krillin, look up there!" Gohan shouted, pointing up at the execution.

However, the golden-haired warrior didn't stop there, he followed up flying after slicing Frieza into pieces before blowing them into nothing but ash.

"That was Frieza, he cut him into bits like he was nothing!" Vegeta declared, unable to comprehend such a sight.

"Yeah, right and in no time flat, like he wasn't even trying." Krillin muttered, awed.

"How can you all see what's happening up there?" Bulma complained, unable to see what was going on. "I must need glasses or something. Looks like Goku made it back in time, huh? All that time training in space was sure worth it. I told you he'd save us!"

"That isn't Goku." Yamcha quickly informed her, frowning. "For one their hair is golden, and two I don't recognize his ki signature at all."

"His power are incredible… I've never felt anything this huge before. It's mind boggling!" Tien admitted, amazed.

"It's weird though…" Gohan frowned, looking closer, "He looks a lot like my dad, especially when he transformed into a Super Saiyan!"

"Is it Goku, then?!" Yamcha demanded.

Gohan shook his head, "No, he looks similar, but I know my dad's ki, and that isn't his."

The Saiyan Prince gritted his teeth furiously, uncaring about the discussion around him. He didn't care who this punk was! There was no possible way for him to be a Super Saiyan! Immediately, no longer caring about being spotted, Vegeta took off into the sky to get a closer look at the action. Immediately everyone followed, while Yamcha trailed them all, carrying Bulma.

With Frieza gone, the mysterious Super Saiyan turned his attention towards King Cold, who was staring at him in both anger and horror. Within seconds, however, that anger was replaced with a strange calm.

"I see, so this is the power of a Super Saiyan. I can now understand how Frieza could've been defeated," King Cold said with a hint of admiration. "How about you work for me? I am not like my son. I do not allow my pride to blind me to such talent such as yours."

The teen didn't answer. He just continued to stare at King Cold.

"Think about, all the riches of the universe can be yours. This planet and the lives of countless others will be your playthings," King Cold continued to offer. "As a Saiyan, you must be tempted. Your kind lives to fight and destroy."

"Not interested!" The teen rejected coldly.

King Cold narrowed his eyes. "You Saiyans truly are stubborn. You don't know a good offer when it is given to you. I am offering you the universe."

"Like I already said, I'm not interested!" The young Super Saiyan stated more firmly.

King Cold stared at the Saiyan for several seconds. "If you won't join me, I have no choice but to kill you. You see, I can't allow anyone outside of my family or organization to be stronger than us."

The teen raised a brow. King Cold was weaker than his son and yet he's threatening to kill him. He had skills, but not enough to win this fight.

"You talk as if you still have any chance of beating me?" The Super Saiyan scoffed, "From what I'm sensing your even weaker than your son and he barely made me break a sweat, so unless if your hiding more power than your letting on, this battle is as good as over. Maybe I'll get a more entertaining fight from Goku once when he returns."

Upon hearing that last sentence, a grin suddenly appeared on King Cold's face. Yes, this Super Saiyan had a weakness, and a big one at that. He didn't know anything about the humans or Saiyans but when this boy appeared, his first thought was how young he looked. And he was right. This Saiyan was only a teenager, strong, but incredibly cocky and only seeking the thrill of a fight without thinking about the consequences. Or at the least, that could possibly be the case for Super Saiyan before him. This could work to his advantage.

"You're correct, Super Saiyan." King Cold acknowledged, "At my current level, I wouldn't provide you a proper challenge."

"Your current level?" The teen couldn't hide the slight curiosity in his voice.

"Oh, yes. I'm currently in my suppressed form." King Cold smoothly conceded, "Not even my sons know about my true form. I made sure that they believed that they were unique, and that this was my true form." The king explained, "I needed an ace up my sleeve in case one of my sons foolishly decided to revolt against me, if you would allow me a moment, I can be in my true form in less than a minute."

The young Super Saiyan's eyed narrowed at this bit of information, so King Cold's current form wasn't his true form. That would explain why he looked so different from his son. Which also meant that he could be much, much stronger than he's letting on.

King Cold seemed to support that theory given how calm and confident he remained despite his son's death. There wasn't even an ounce of fear or anxiety coming from him. Then again, it could be just arrogance, which was one of Frieza's major flaws. But, he had a hard time believing King Cold was completely arrogant given he had no problem with Frieza proclaiming himself to be the strongest and staying in the background of his own empire. Everything about King Cold struck him as being an intelligent, cunning, and dangerous individual. The prospect that he could be facing a foe far greater than Frieza did entice his curiosity, as he could practically feel his energy spiking from excitement at the mere thought. He wanted an all out fight.

Then, something brought him back to reality. What if King Cold was stronger than him? If he was, it wouldn't be just his life in danger, but everyone on the planet. Not mention he'd risk jeopardizing his true objective, which was the sole reason he was here in the first place. He wouldn't be saving or protecting anyone. If he provoked King Cold to transform and go all out, it would all be for the sake of his ego.

After several seconds of thought, he made his decision. It wasn't worth it. The planet and his inhabitants have been through enough traumatic events and there would only be more to come in the near future. There was also the possibility that even if he did overpower King Cold, he could destroy the Earth in desperation. As much as he hated it, it was just safer for everyone.

With his mind made up, he was going to end this quickly.

Before King Cold could blink, the Super Saiyan vanished before reappearing right in front of him. He didn't even have the chance to scream as the young warrior focused his ki into his arm and rammed his fist into Cold's gut. The force of the punch was so great that it shattered his armor as it went clean through Cold.

King Cold stood frozen in shock and horror as he looked down at his abdominal area. He stared in numb disbelief as his blood ran down the Super Saiyan's arm. He could also feel the blood flowing out of his mouth. Time itself seemed to sit still.

King Cold screamed in agony as the pain began settle in. He groaned as he struggled in vain to remove the intruding fist. When he was able to lift his head, he quaked in terror as he stared into the cold merciless eyes of the Super Saiyan.

Now he truly saw what his son feared. What terrorized him those nights as he healed from his injures. It was those eyes. Those cold steely, bluish green eyes that peered into his very soul, promising death. What he was seeing was a monster.

"Wait..." King Cold struggled to speak. "Wait...spare me. Please, I promise to leave the planet in peace. Please, spare my life..."

The mysterious youth said nothing and listened to King Cold's pathetic pleas for mercy. He stood silent for several seconds as King Cold continued to beg for his life. He couldn't help but wonder how many people begged for their lives before him only to be sadistically killed for his own amusement. For people who wrought so much death, pain, and misery, they quivered at the mere thought of death. He supposed that was the nature of cowards.

"I could spare you." the Super Saiyan said before he narrowed his eyes, ridden himself of any compassion. "But, I'm fully aware the consequences of giving your kind mercy." He stated coldly.

King Cold's eyes widened in horror. "No please! That was my son! I'm not evil like him! Please, spare me, argh! I'll change wicked ways, I give you my word!"

The teen merely snarled at the tyrant. "Just shut up and die already." He growled out, as he channeled his energy in his fist and in a burst of golden light, he vaporized King Cold. There was literately nothing left of him but ash. Like he said there would be mercy for him.

"Good riddance!" He spat.

With the deed done, the young Super Saiyan turned his eyes toward the spaceship that Frieza and his father used to fly here. With an energy blast, he destroyed it too, completely erasing all evidence that Frieza had even came to this planet.

It was finished.

Frieza and his kind could no longer bother this planet or torment the universe anymore.

Sighing, as the golden flame like aura around his body dulled back to standard white before finally fading away. His hair settled back to wild mess it had been before he transformed. His eyes returned to normal as well, losing their justice emerald color and becoming a sharp onyx once again.

Gohan blinked, visibly rendered speechless. "He destroyed them so easily."

"And," Tien pitched in, "didn't even come close to breaking a sweat."

"Now I really hope this guy is on our side." The former monk remarked. "I don't even want to imagine what he could do to us."

Though, unbeknownst to the Z-fighters just yet, the mysterious warrior had no intentions of pickin a fight with any of them. If anything, he simply wanted to talk to them, and do what he came to do. By chance, he took note of the all of the mid-air Z-fighters behind him. Immediately upon spotting the young Gohan, amongst the group, his serious and stern demeanor soften into, a more somber one. Though, it was certainly an odd experience seeing him as a child, he couldn't help but crack a small smile as many fond memories flashed through his mind.

Taking his eyes off Gohan, the black-haired teen scoped out the rest of the group. He recognized Yamcha, the clown or mime looking being, Chiaotzu, and the three-eyed warrior Tien from pictures. The tall green man was obviously Piccolo and the small bald man in the red gi must be Krillin. He heard many great things about the latter two.

That must mean that the man with spiky black hair… and a pink shirt is… Vegeta...

The teen couldn't help but snicker to himself before composing himself, he smiled once again, "Yo, I'm heading off to a nearby area to meet Goku, you lot can come if like?"

Everyone's eyes widened, not quite sure how to respond. Not only that, but none of them were certain as to how this mysterious youth knew of Goku.

Sensing their hesitation, the teen quickly continued, jabbing a dumb in the direction he intended on heading in. "Come, on," he urged with a daring smirk, "it's not too far away. Goku should be arriving there in a couple of hours." And with that, he took off in said direction, leaving the others behind - all of whom were questioning his motives.

However, Gohan was quick to recover. "I think we should follow him. After all, he seems knows my dad."

"That's what he says." Krillin stated pointedly. "The only thing is, how do we know he's telling truth."

"I think we should follow him too." Tien began, staring off in the direction the mysterious Saiyan took off in as well. "He doesn't seem to have any malicious intent. I mean, he did save us from Frieza and King Cold, after all. That has to count for something, right?" Tien didn't wait for anyone to respond, continuing moments later, "I say we go."

Yamcha was first to disagree, an arm still wrapped around Bulma as he supported her weight. "I don't trust him. Seems pretty fishy, if you ask me."

"Well," Bulma was quick to interject, mentally recalling how he killed Frieza. "I say we go; I'm in."

Vegeta scowled. "As am I. After all, I have every intention of finding out who this imposter is."

And then, one by one, starting with Gohan, followed by Piccolo, everyone began taking off after the teen.

From ahead them, the mysterious youth cracked a pleased smile, glad that they decided to follow him, after all. Shifting his attention back in front of him, he continued flying until a faint beeping noise went off on the device around his wrist, before descending. Not even a moment later, everyone touched down as well, regarding him with expressions that told him that the others were still reluctant to trust him. So, just to put them more at ease, he reached into his front pocket and pulled out a small container, pushing a mere button on the outside and revealing the container to have a several, huge capsules inside. Once he took out one capsule in particular, he stored the rest back into his pocket and tossed the one he picked out on the ground after pushing the button at the top, watching as it poofed moments later and, in a cloud of smoke, it revealed to be some sort of contraption.

Yamcha was alarmed. "He's up to something, guys."

However, the teen merely pulled out what appeared to be a canned beverage of some sort. "Anybody want a drink?" He offered, "Goku isn't due to arrive for another two hours. Plus," he added on, proceeding to drink the one he pulled out for himself, "it's pretty hot and dry out here."

Silence.

"Well," Bulma began, hands on her hips, "I don't see why not."

And Gohan, seemingly agreeing, ran out to go get one, ignoring the calls of his name.

Besides, if this guy knew his dad, then the only way to find out for sure was to wait and see.

Well, that was an eventful first chapter. Not gonna lie, I kind of enjoyed writing this. The dialog kind of came to me naturally and the fights were just fun to write. As for the identity the mysterious youth, you'll just have to wait for the next chapter. How he came to be and the future timeline he originates from will be explained in later chapters, so I won't say too much on how different his timeline is from Future Trunks for now.

Feedback is always welcome and stay tuned for more.
