Wow, I've been consistently waiting four or five months between installments in this "series" but the good news is that I probably won't do that this time? Because I've got like... At least three more stories to write in this saga. It's not exactly what I had planned but I'm definitely having fun.

This is the unplanned sequel to Built From The Same Stuff and more importantly Robots and Space and Love.

Louie was feeling sleepy and stupid, zipped up in his sleeping bag still hours after the sleepover had ended. His friends and family were used to him sleeping in but right now he was wide awake and hiding out until he could figure out his feelings.

Dewey kicked the bag.

"You missed pancakes."

"Ow. Leave me alone."

"I thought you liked pancakes."

"I don't know what I like," Louie said, thinking about a certain android.

"What's that supposed to mean? You're weird. If you want any breakfast you have to get up now."

"I don't. Leave me alone."

Dewey left the room, calling down the stairs, "MOM, LOUIE IS BROKEN!"

Louie groaned and scooted out of his sleeping bag and went to find another place to hide and think, not wanting to be bothered by his family.

Unfortunately, he ran right into Webby.

"So, you're broken now?" Webby asked with a laugh.

"Apparently," he said dryly.

"Want to talk about it?"

"Absolutely not," and then, "actually, maybe… But we have to go somewhere private."

He had a feeling that Webby was the only one who would listen without judging or being overly patronizing. However, he should have expected that her private place would be somewhere even more terrifying than his feelings.

"Why are we on the roof, Webby?"

"It's private. Now talk, what's on your mind?"

Louie frowned and sighed, "Boyd said some stuff last night…"

"What stuff?" Webby frowned protectively.

"He said he liked someone. He said he liked a boy."

"That's good for him?" Webby said tentatively.

"Yeah, I guess! He said he liked someone I know and I'm not sure why but I've been thinking about it all night."

"Huh. Maybe you like him." Those words, though they'd been floating through his head all morning, still caught him off guard coming from someone else.

"I… What? I don't- okay, maybe…"

"There's no shame in that. Did he say who he liked?"

"No… It could be anyone. Well. Probably not anyone. I think it might be Dewey or Huey."

"What if it's you?" Webby suggested. Louie immediately panicked.

"What?! Why- why would it be me?"

"Well, geez, Louie, I don't know. Why would it be Huey, who is clearly in some sort of budding relationship with Violet and Gosalyn, or Dewey, who has never had feelings for anyone ever?"

Louie paused, thoughtful.

"Do you really think it could be me?"

"Yeah, I do."

"Whoa." Louie hugged his legs, no longer thinking about how they were sitting on the roof.

"How would you feel about that?"

"I…" Louie floundered for a moment and then, "I would like it."

"Can you tell me about any of the things that happened before he told you he liked someone?"

"Well, it was when Boyd got lost and I went to go find him. Things got a little deep and then he told me mom and Penumbra were giving him advice about crush stuff because he had feelings for a friend and I asked if I knew them and then he said "You know him" and then he squeezed my hand."

Webby just about facepalmed.

"Louie. Lou. He likes you."

Louie just about passed out, "Really? You think so?"

"Yes! What did you say after that?"

"I said we should get back to the sleepover! I was freaking out!"

"Dang. Maybe you should talk to him."

"He already went home…"

"So? You don't have to talk to him today if you don't want to but if you like Boyd and you think he likes you then maybe you should talk to him. Maybe you should take the next step."

"What's the next step?" Louie asked. Webby blinked, admittedly unprepared for that question.

"I don't know… Maybe you should talk to your mom."

"I definitely can't do that. She knows who Boyd likes and if it isn't me and she tells me that I'll die on the spot."

"Yeah, okay, that does complicate things. I'm sorry, Louie… I wish I had better advice."

"No, this helps a lot. I'm ready to admit I have feelings for a friend. I just need to figure out what I'm going to do with those feelings."

"I'll be here to talk about it at any point if you need me."

"Thanks, Webby. I'll keep that in mind." Louie didn't want to say the other thing, that he was worried that he would take too long to figure out his feelings and that Boyd would get bored of waiting. He liked Boyd and he wanted to take the next step, whatever that was. But for a while, he needed more time to think.

"I'm going to go back to my room," Louie said, "I have a lot to think about. But thanks for all your help. You'll be the first to know if something happens or changes."

"Good. I'm cheering you on, Louie. I'll always be here for you. I know things are going to work out."
