Sylvie was sent back into a wall almost instantly as the match began. I had to duck to avoid getting hit in the crossfire. Luckily though, Sylvie shook off the large impact and jumped up. She rushed back into the battlefield as I pointed at the bird.

Amy: Alright. Quick attack!

Sylvie gave out a squeak and jumped up before ramming into the bird. He was clearly caught off guard as he fell from the sky.

Amy: He's stunned. Hurry and slam him down.

Giving me a nod, Sylvie wrapped her feelers around the Fearow and restraining his wings. Sylvie then slammed him against the ground and walls. She got a good few hits in before letting go. Surprisingly, this knocked the Fearow out cold. Fi returned the Pokemon and shook her head.

Fi: Such a shame. Did not expect such an attack. Oh well… I still have three more and it's only going to get more difficult.

Fi released her next member, being a Scyther. It glared and after a second, it charged at us.

Amy: Put up some defenses.

Sylvie stood firm and used her feelers to create some form of protection. The Scyther rushed towards Sylvie and used it's large blades to slash at her. She winced as I quickly told her to counter it. Sylvie shook as the blades sliced at her feelers. After a few seconds, Sylvie used a free feeler to wrap around it's leg. Using her strength, she yanked down which grounded the Pokemon.

Amy: Time for your moon blast.

Watching on, Sylvie jumped up and started summoning the attack. I saw Fi wave and cross her arms as the Scyther quickly got up and it's speed was so sudden that I was unable to keep up. I saw as Sylvie launched back. The Scyther launched towards Sylvie and slammed her down as she crashed into the floor.

I was instantly worried as that looked extremely painful. Once the dust cleared, I just saw Sylvie laying there, unresponsive. I ran up to her and picked her up. Walking back, I laid her down and pulled out some medicine. Giving her some of it, I let her lay there.

Amy: Crap… She looks really messed up… Uh.

Looking at Flanite, I sent him up. I kept an eye on Sylvie while commanding Flanite.

Amy: Okay… It's simply a bug. I know they hate fire. So Flanite, go crazy with fire moves. Starting with Flamethrower…!

Flanite nodded and locked onto the Scyther. He shot out a large stream of fire as I watched the Scyther dodge around. Flanite grew annoyed at this and increased the heat. His fur released tiny embers as he continued pouring fire from his mouth. Scyther continued to dodge and I thought of an idea.

Amy: Hmm… Flame burst, quickly!

Flanite stopped his flamethrower and shot a large fireball into the air. After a few seconds of it flying through the air, it exploded. The explosion was powerful as a large amount of fire shot in every direction. Luckily the Scyther couldn't dodge this as it took most of the impact. Fire hitting it's body as it tried putting it out.

Amy: Alright, it's distracted. Use flamethrower once more!

The Scyther continued putting the fire out but before it could focus on the battle, Flanite struck it with a large stream of fire as it engulfed it's body. The Scyther tried fighting it, but Flanite slammed his body against the Scyther.

It fell as Fi returned it.

Fi: Such a strong Fennekin. Hmm… Alright. My third one then.

Fi sent out Decidueye.

Amy: Another easy target using fire… But I don't like the look of him.

The Decidueye wore a black cloak as his eyes glowed red. This somewhat scared me since I never saw such a Pokemon with glowing eyes. I got a pretty close look as Decidueye launched towards Flanite. He tried blocking the attack, but the Decidueye kicked him so hard that Flanite slammed into a few rocks. Flanite looked very dazed from this as he tried getting up. Decidueye didn't delay though as the bird picked Flanite up.

Amy: Ember!

Flanite was so dazed, but thankfully managed to get the move off. He got the Decidueye right in the face and it was enough for him to drop Flanite. Flanite, not following my orders, ended up biting his leg hard. I watched as he kept a decent grip. The Decidueye kicked and punched at Flanite before using razor leaf which finally broke Flanite's grip around his leg. He let go and was kicked away before getting hit by a powerful leaf storm. This was enough for Flantie. Taking him away, I looked at my team.

Amy: A 4v4. I only have two left…

Looking at my team, I sent out Kuro. She stared at the Decidueye and gave a slight smirk.

Amy: Lets hope you can deal with him. Start it off with fire blitz.

Kuro rushed the Decidueye as her body surrounded with fire. I watched as the Decidueye jumped up, but that didn't stop Kuro. She jumped up and slammed into him. He launched back and launched razor sharp leaves towards Kuro. It looked like it was useless due to how hot her body was. This Decidueye was good though as he delivered a powerful kick right before she made contact. This broke the move as Kuro fell to the side. She recovered quickly and shot a few fireballs before running around the arena. She jumped from rock to rock, keeping light on her hoofs. The Decidueye kept a close eye on her as I noticed and I started coming up with a plan. While thinking, Kuro kept circling him as he hovered in the air.

Amy: I wanted to try this…

Looking at her, I spoke.

Amy: Fire vortex!

Kuro looked a bit confused but quickly knew what I wanted. She began using flamethrower while circling around him. The speed she had started making a spiral of fire. The Decidueye looked a bit confused and unsure what to do. He tried firing off attacks, but Kuro kept picking up speed. After 30 seconds, the entire battlefield was filled with flames as the Decidueye tried using wind to push the fire back.

Kuro vanished into the fire and after another second or so, she launched from the fire and delivered a powerful headbutt against the Decidueye. The impact stunned him as he fell into the fire. This ring of fire lasted for another 30 seconds before fading. After the fire faded, we saw the Decidueye. He laid there and was out.

Fi: Didn't expect someone like you to be so powerful. Hmm… Alright. Though I think your journey ends here.

Fi returned the Decidueye and sent out a Charizard. I tensed at the sight as I looked over to Kuro. I called her back and sent out Stealth who simply sighed before yawning.

We were about to battle, but Stealth began acting weird. I saw his ears perk up as he turned back to face me. I looked a bit confused as he stared intensely. A second went by before he bolted towards me. I was caught off guard as he headbutted me, which caused me to get lifted up and flung back a good few meters.

The moment he did push me away, I heard a massively loud crash as the wall next to us crumbled away to reveal a large bulldozer. As the wall fell, a metal rod shot towards us. It was aiming right at me. At least it was until Stealth shoved me away. So instead of me, this rod struck Stealth, wrapping this thing around him. Stealth tried to escape, but only managed to slip this rod down to his tail before it wrapped around fully.

This thing then began reeling him in fast.

Amy: The hell?!

Jumping up, I rushed towards Stealth as he dug his claws into the ground. While running up, I sent out Flanite and Sav.

Once I reached Stealth, I told Flanite to use a fire attack on the metal rod. He did so and began using flamethrower. When the metal glowed from the heat, I told Sav to break it. It took a moment for him to think, but he ended up bashing rocks against it with immense force. While he was doing this, I tried holding onto Stealth, trying to pull him back.

Fi: How rude to interrupt our battle…

Looking up, I saw Fi, riding on the back of her Decidueye. She told me to get clear of Stealth. I didn't want too, but when I saw Decidueye's wings glow, I quickly removed the two and stood back. I watched as he produced a razor sharp force of wind that cut through this metal instantly, freeing Stealth.

Upon doing this, Fi landed and looked at where the hole was. The large machine was suddenly gone and this confused all of us. Fi groaned loudly and sent her Charizard to scout around before turning towards us.

Fi: Not a big surprise. Damn Blitz been trying to tear this place down for a year now. I'm pretty sure it was them… If so, they did upgrade from the last attempt…

Amy: Why… Did it try taking Stealth? Well… Would've been me…

Fi: You must've pissed someone off in that team.

She turned around and crossed her arms.

Fi: Never mind that… I'm unsure how they just vanished. I was about to scorch them for this damage…

Fi stood quiet for a moment before looking up.

Fi: Ugh… Anyway… I have some business to do…

She took out the badge and gave me it.

Fi: Didn't really defeat me… But here. I don't want you to wait a few weeks when I repair this.

Amy: Oh, uh… O- okay.

Fi: Anyway, I better get this started.

Nodding, I turned back and walked to my team who was around Stealth. He just laid there as I bent down and checked on him.

Amy: Thankfully it wasn't forceful… Was afraid it'd injure your tail. But… It looks somewhat okay.

Picking Stealth up, I looked at the others.

Amy: Lets, uh… Head out?

They nodded as we walked out of the gym. When I walked into the streets, I started to carry Stealth down to the place we're staying. However, Stealth stopped me by using his tail. His tail wrapped around my legs which nearly made me fall.

Amy: What is it?

Stealth pointed his tail to the side. Following his tail, I saw an item laying on the ground. Confused, I placed Stealth down and walked over to it. It looked like some sort of icy stone. It was blue and gave a slight glow.

Amy: Huh… Cool. Wonder what this is.

Reaching down, I took it. A slight chill went through me as I stared at the stone.

Amy: Very cold… Huh. Maybe Ruka knows something about this.

Stashing this stone in my bag, I walked back to Stealth as he looked like his normal self now.

Amy: Guess you are doing better now?

Stealth looked away and growled slightly before huffing. He closed his eyes and sighed before walking away towards our home. I followed alongside him and once we returned to our room, I sat down and checked out the stone. Mystic seemed curious about it as she pawed it. The stone sparkled and glowed gently.

Amy: Hmm… Such a strange stone, but cool looking. Anyway… I guess we should prepare to head out again. Sun is still high, so maybe a walk on the forest trail?

Mystic agreed and smiled as I stood up.

Amy: Then it's settled. Lets eat then head out.

Picking Mystic up, I walked out and started cooking. Stealth laid next to the window and once I finished cooking, I gave everyone food. We ate and upon finishing, I grabbed my bag and told everyone to follow. Then we headed out...
