"Daddy, what the hell did you do to my room?"

"Hey, it's mine now!", Stiles exclaimed as Elexis stared at him.

"Lexi, baby, you made it clear that you were never coming back here. I didn't think you would ever need it again", Noah defended himself.

"So the cool kid leaves and my room goes to the hyperactive spaz?"

Derek let out a loud snort and gave everyone an innocent look when they looked at him.

Elexis huffed, "Okay, I'll make my living arrangements then."

"Hey, you could stay here! We got plenty of space.", said Noah.

"Or, you could stay at our place", offered Melissa.

"My loft has a spare room", said Derek, very slowly.

"I really appreciate it. All of you, truly. But I'd better take this opportunity to get my company to finance my stay", she said with a wink as she took out her phone and called someone.

The person picked on the third ring.

"Elexis, to what do I owe the pleasure?"

"Diego, hi. You got a minute?"

"You're literally my boss. All my minutes are yours", said the voice on the other side of the phone, suggestively.

"Get me a place down here in Beacon Hills."

"Okay, specifics?"

"Ask me."

"People?"

"The usual."

"Mansion?"

"Yep, preferably suburbs."

"Pool?"

"Do you even have to ask?"

"Okay boss, texting you the details in 20."

"Cool"

As she put away her phone, she addressed the room at large, "Getting a place in half an hour. You're all welcome to visit."

Isaac asked, "That quick?"

"What can I say? My staff is pretty efficient."

"Holy hell, Stiles, your sister is awesome!", exclaimed Scott as many others nodded.

"Yeah, I don't say it often enough with all the shit I give you, but I'm proud of you, Lexi.", said Noah, sincerely.

Elexis simply got up and wrapped her arms around her father as she asked him, "As much as I love you, I've been travelling for 30 hours, and I'd really appreciate something to eat."

Melissa laughed as she brought a burger from the kitchen.

Everyone settled to eat when Elexis decided to break the silence.

"Okay so what's next for you guys?"

When she got bewildered looks in return, she elaborated, "Y'all just defeated an Alpha pack and a dararch. What's next on the list?"

Everyone stopped eating and Stiles almost fell down from where he was sitting next to Elexis.

"Are you kidding me? What the hell, Lex? We never told you any of this!"

"Well, you got secrets, a girl's got secrets. I know everything you guys have been up to. Although I am surprised how much trouble you people seem to get into in such a small town."

"That still doesn't explain why you know?", piped Ethan.

"Are you kidding me? New Orleans is a bigger mess than this place. You can't walk 10 steps without bumping into a supernatural. How do you think I am not dead yet?"

"Woah, how long have you known, Lexi?", asked Melissa

"Since before I was in town the last time. I was a kid, really. Around 11, I think."

"Both my kids are idiots. You just don't know how to stay out of trouble, do you?"Noah rolled his eyes.

"Nope", said Stiles and Elexis in tandem as they grinned and fist bumped each other.

"That still doesn't explain how you know about Beacon Hills?", asked Lydia

"You guys didn't think that my associates and I would leave the largest source of power in the country unprotected now, did you?"

"The Nemeton", said Derek.

"Ding ding ding! Your alpha's got brains."

"So you mean to tell me that you've known everything these little shits get up to and you didn't feel like saying anything?", said Noah, who had been told about the existence of the supernatural only recently.

"Yes dad, exactly. My people occasionally make rounds here and report back to me."

"You really are something, aren't you?", said Chris appreciatively.

"You have no idea.", you retorted.

The conversation flowed easily after that as Elexis made clear that she wouldn't talk about herself, only the pack. Once Diego texted her the address of the place she would be staying,Elexis got up to leave.

She promised to come over and spend more time once she had settled in. As they moved out, Danny let out a whistle and said, "Sweet ride."

"Dude, that is a fucking 1966 Mustang Mach 1. Holy hell, it's modified too! It is the best car, like ever. Its super expensive.", spluttered Jackson

"Lex, how the hell do you have this car?", asked Stiles

"I told you, we do pretty well. I like to spoil myself."

With that, she started the car and it roared as it came to life. She kissed her father goodbye and promised to meet the others soon. As her car pulled out of the driveway, the pack looked on, impressed.
