Luke sat in the extravagant restaurant with his Father, smiling at all the women who were staring at them admiringly. After allowing him to play in the rain for a while, his Father had gotten them both dressed smartly and drove to his favourite restaurant as promised. It was past Luke's bedtime and he had thought that his Father may take him straight to bed; however, here they still were just the two of them and he was thoroughly enjoying his Fathers company.
Lucas stared into the open fireplace which provided warmth to his table, recalling the last time that he had been here with his Wife. This was their spot, a nice place to come without the children when they needed some proper adult time and it always led to a night of fun when they returned home.
The last time they had come here, Gail was in a particularly mischievous mood and she had been unable to wait until they returned home. She coaxed him into the ladies bathroom and demanded he take her right then and there, Lucas could never turn down his Wife's wishes and obliged, slamming her roughly against the black and white tiles on the wall and taking all of her. Gail returned the favour and followed him into his Office at the Sheriff's Station on the way home when he had to check on his people, then straddled him on his desk and took him inside of her, riding him hard in the way he liked. It was always a pleasure to watch her when she took control and the energy she had was admirable.
Remembering her insatiable need to have him caused a stir in his stomach and the fire inside of him began to roar.
'Gail' Luke's voice pierced through his reverie and Luke began to bounce on his seat.
'What?' Lucas asked shocked, staring around the restaurant quickly.
'Gail Jr!' Luke exclaimed happily, pointing at the entrance where Billy stood with his Sister waving excitedly in their direction.
A strong pain stabbed at Lucas' chest when he realised Gail was not here, then the pain eased when he spotted his excited Daughter clawing at Billy's face to be released, so she could run to them.
'Jesus, calm the hell down. I'm goin' as fast as I can!' Billy exclaimed sarcastically, and pulled the small girls sharp nails from his eyes. 'She's as energetic as her Mother' he advised as he passed her to Lucas when he reached their table and ruffled Luke's hair playfully.
'Not quiet, but she's gettin' there' Lucas smiled, stroking her back affectionately when she threw her arms around him and squeezed him tight.
Luke's attention remained on the entrance in the hopes of seeing his Mother, then he let out a sad sigh when he realised that she was not there.
'She's ok' Gail Jr advised, sensing his concern and reaching for her Brothers hand.
Lucas glanced at Billy in an attempt to hide his anger at the two children having to try to reassure each other and Billy just shrugged.
'I couldn't coax her out of her hole, but Gail Jr's been allowed out to play' Billy said forcing a happy tone, trying to lighten the mood.
Lucas inhaled deeply to control his rage, sensing both of his children's sadness and then handed Gail Jr back to Billy when the Waiter began to bring their food out. 'We've ordered plenty, have your fill. I'll be back in a bit' he advised, unable to deal with their sadness and exited the table abruptly.
'What? Wait!' Billy called quietly, trying not to cause a scene in front of the nosy people around them. When Lucas just brushed off his attempt to get his attention and left the restaurant, Billy forced a smile for the children and glanced at the large quantity of food that was being placed down. 'Guess it's just us guys, looks like your Daddy ordered the whole menu'
Both children cheered happily and licked their lips at the sight of the food, unable to wait to devour every last ounce of it due to the takeaway meals that both of their parents had been relying on lately.
Billy laughed in disbelief of the amount of food that was still coming and the situation he had been left in. He hoped M did not have any plans for him tonight, as he was well and truly taken right now.
Gail strolled through the dark deserted streets and took in the crisp night air, savouring the slight cold tingling on the tips of her fingers. With her Daughter gone, Gail had felt the void inside of her grow and needed to get out of the confines of her self appointed prison. Her Grandfathers place was not so bad, it was luxurious and impressive; however, it was too sterile for her liking and the strange presence which resided on the grounds was around her all of the time.
Gail Jr had taken to the place well, at least as well as she could with being uprooted from her home. Gail did not trust the vastness of the property and she suspected there were secret places which may hold certain benefits and hindrances, which was not much different than the Buck Mansion; however, she was not in the right frame of mind to go exploring it's secrets and had to think of her Daughter, therefore, she had turned the closest bedroom into their room and that was the only room in the house which they occupied.
In hindsight, Gail should have had a better plan for times such as these, knowing who her Husband truly was and the struggle that they would inevitably face; however, she had gotten content in her life, believing nothing could pull them apart. This was just a reminder of how her life always went to shit when she allowed herself to relax, she should know better by now to not allow herself to become so complacent and depend on another person so much.
A familiar silhouette caught Gail's eyes and a small smile crossed her lips. She stopped behind a tree and peered around it to spy Caleb wrestling with his bicycle chain, she had not seen him properly since she had told him that she was done and leaving him in such a way had caused her no end of sleepless nights. Gail had ensured that Merlyn was fully aware of her absence, making sure that she was able to look out for her Brother and Luke while Gail figured out her next move. It was not ideal, but she believed that Caleb was too far gone for her to help him any more and Lucas appeared happy to allow his bad choices to go unchecked, which she just could not bare to do.
Malcolm was a disease that latched on to anything it could and leached it's way in, causing nothing but pain and suffering. He always had a ulterior motive for showing himself and she knew that he was hell bent on hurting her Daughter, with the support of some of the other presences on their property. It was tearing Gail apart to be split from her family, including Caleb who she had grown to think of as her own Son; however, she could not just sit back and allow Malcolm to weasel his way in and eventually harm her little girl.
Gail was determined to follow the course she had set out, but seeing Caleb struggling was causing her resolve to waiver. When she heard him curse out loud she stepped out from behind the tree to go to him, then stopped in her tracks when Malcolm appeared beside him and tapped his shoulder affectionately. Gail watched as they whispered together and Caleb laughed with Malcolm, the thing that had once tried to murder both her and her Daughter. She felt the darkness rising within her and did not want to fight it any more, she closed her eyes ready to let go fully and welcome the peace which inevitably followed giving up full control of herself.
Lucas sensed the fight leave Gail and her willingness to be taken over; therefore, he grabbed her and pulled her back behind the tree, before she had a chance to fully commit to the choice. He had not expected to see her out of her current sanctuary and witnessing her about to let go so easily had caused his rage to spike. 'Are you crazy?' he whispered in disbelief of her desire to let the thing inside of her take control, especially after what had happened the last time. He was about to scold her disappointedly, then felt eyes on them and peered from behind the tree to spot Malcolm grinning maliciously at them.
Gail froze at the sight of her Husband, not being this close to him for nearly a month and was at a loss for words. She saw the disappointment in his eyes and felt herself become upset, unable to control her emotions.
Lucas could see clearly now that Malcolm was toying with her, using the things that she cared about most deeply to persuade her into losing full control, much like he used to do with Lucas as a teenager and his disappointment turned into concern, not used to seeing his Wife in such a vulnerable way as he did right now. 'Love-' he started, but was silenced when Gail forced her lips onto his in an attempt to hold in her deep emotions.
When Lucas' concern was visible, Gail realised how she must look right now and could not stand for him to perceive as weak. She was not weak, she was just split from her family and craving the intimacy that she had grown so used to. Seeing how tired and dishevelled Lucas looked compared to his usual vibrant pristine appearance made her desire for him even stronger, and she could not hold it back any longer.
Lucas smiled as her tongue entered his mouth and savoured the taste of her, experiencing the same strong urges that she did. He did not care where they were or who was watching, he needed her right now and would not take no as an answer.
Gail felt herself being lifted up and wrapped her legs around his waist, laughing when he slammed her back hard against the tree. She sensed Malcolm's furious eyes on her at being able to tempt his Son so effortlessly and she shot a devilish smile at him over her shoulder, then turned her full attention back to her Husband as he forced him mouth on hers and began kissing her with a deep urgency.
Lucas could not get enough of the taste of her in his mouth and devoured her. He bit his lips to stifle his moan when she ripped open his shirt, then smiled when she clawed her sharp nails down his chest roughly and willed her to hurt him. To his surprise, Caleb had moved on quickly and was not in earshot of their intimate exchange, that was even better as he had no need to hold back any more and could have some real fun.
Gail sensed his thoughts and scraped her nails down his back to show her consent of his desires, then buried her head into his neck when he unzipped his pants, ripped off her panties in a quick motion and thrust his hard manhood inside of her before she was fully ready. She bit down on his shoulder at the pain of his entry and was thankful as he gave her a moment to get used to his length.
'It has been a while Love, you can't have forgotten me already can you?' Lucas whispered in her ear sarcastically, letting out a low moan at how exquisite it felt when she closed in around him.
'Never Soulmate' Gail responded honestly, then stared deep into his eyes and placed a soft kiss on his lips.
Lucas inhaled her scent and felt his animal urges going crazy. He began thrusting in and out of her hard, unable to help himself and gripped her behind tight as he pushed her further back against the tree to enable him to get as far inside of her as he could.
Gail let out another pained moan at his intense thrusts; however, she wrapped her legs around his hips tighter and tangled her hands in his hair, needing this treatment from him. 'Don't ever stop' she whimpered before she could stop herself, a strong surge of pleasure flowing through her entire body.
Lucas smiled at her uncontrollable plea and stared deep into her eyes as he continued to take her hard. 'Never' he promised, sensing her true unguarded desire and having no intention of giving her up to Malcolm, or anybody for that matter.
Gail sensed his unwavering loyalty to her and rested her head on his, savouring the feeling of him inside of her. Lucas had not sent her away, she had done that herself by presuming that it would be a hard choice for him between protecting their Daughter in their home and allowing Caleb to continue his own way with Malcolm. Being with him now made her doubt her decision more than ever and she hated herself for not being able to trust him more.
'It's not me you don't trust Love and you're not wrong, you just have a habit of runnin' away before all options can be explored' Lucas reassured her through pleasurable pants, then bit down on his bottom lip when he felt both of their climaxes rising.
Gail attempted to keep her loud moans to a minimum; however, her body was betraying her as usual and she could not control her volume. As her climax hit violently and he erupted inside of her, she buried her head into his shoulder and screamed his name uncontrollably.
Lucas managed to control his volume and laughed at her inability to silence herself, glancing over his shoulder when he spotted a porch light turn on not far from their position. 'It's safe to say our cover is blown...Tell you what, why don't you give me a tour of your new place while all of our rabble are busy? I don't believe I've had the privilege of a proper viewin' and I'm sure we can find a quiet spot to discuss our current predicament' he asked suggestively, pulling out of her to enable her to cover herself up and squeezing her behind playfully when she moved in front of him obediently.
Gail bit her bottom lip teasingly and dragged him back the way she had came, not bothering to hide her desire for him. He had completely awoken her animalistic urges and she could not think of anything else she would prefer to be doing right now. 'Alright Sheriff, let's see what we can find lurking in that old property of mine, I'm sure we'll absolutely focus on our serious predicament when we get there' she responded sarcastically, then smiled when he lifted her hand to his lips and kissed it gentlemanly, as though he could be trusted not to overstep any boundaries when he got started with her.
Caleb continued down the road pushing his bicycle, after feeling an intense nudge to move on. A familiar pleasant wave had come over him for a moment, as though something he enjoyed was close by; however, the intense need to move overpowered the pleasant feeling and he had chosen to continue on to Boone's home, in the hopes that he would help him repair his bicycle.
After his Father left with Luke, Caleb had decided that he wanted to get away from his family and he was happy for the fresh air now that the rain had stopped following him. It was a shame Malcolm could not appreciate the freshness of this time late in the day and his Grandfather just followed moodily beside him.
'What's gotten you all of a sudden?' Caleb asked finally, unable to stand his foul mood any longer.
Malcolm let out a bitter sigh and shook his head. 'You're too easily controlled' he snapped, unable to shake the smug look Gail had given him after tempting his Son and taking his mood out on his Grandson.
Caleb let out a small laugh and could not believe the irony of the comment. 'Funny, that's what Gail said when she came to collect her things and warned me about you, but here you are followin' me around like a stray puppy' he responded calmly, not allowing his Grandfather to bother him.
'More like a sour ol' mutt who's losin' it's grip on it's toy' Joshua corrected, regarding Malcolm amused at his inability to complete the most simplest of things.
Caleb could not help but smile at Joshua's appearance and nodded his appreciation when the man instinctively took his bicycle from him, then started manoeuvring the loose chain to secure it back into place.
'That ain't no man' Malcolm said venomously, sensing Caleb's thought and acceptance of Joshua.
'Never said I was, but I appreciate the good thought' Joshua smiled charmingly at Caleb, revelling in Malcolm's annoyance.
'Who are you really?' Caleb asked curiously, not naïve enough to trust this stranger so easily.
'Well that's for your Daddy and Momma to know, you don't need to burden yourself with anythin' like that' Joshua responded, ensuring his demeanour remained welcoming for Lucas Buck's first born heir; however, monitoring him closely.
'Don't trust him Caleb, he's all for that heathen!' Malcolm spat out, unhappy that Joshua was getting in the way of his game.
'He ain't asked me to trust him, he's just fixin' my bike...it's you who's hell bent on gainin' my favour' Caleb said coolly, continuing to watch Joshua as he fixed his bicycle and smiled happily when he passed it back to him fully repaired.
'Ain't that the truth' Joshua smirked, amused at the boy's comment and pleasantly surprised that he was not as easily led as Malcolm had made him appear.
Malcolm looked from Caleb to Joshua, then let out a moody huff and disappeared.
'He's gonna be mad-' Caleb started knowingly.
'Oh he'll get over it, he must want you for a reason right?' Joshua asked casually, feeling no remorse for undermining Malcolm's efforts.
Caleb stared at Joshua curiously for a moment, then regarded him suspiciously. 'What do you want me for?' he asked coolly, trying to give off the same relaxed vibe as Joshua was.
Joshua laughed at the question and smiled. 'You ain't my type Son and you certainly don't have anythin' I ain't seen before' he advised amused, continuing to keep his demeanour calm.
'Then why are you here?' Caleb asked confused, believing Joshua had wanted to find a way to goad him into doing something.
Joshua leaned in close and regarded Caleb seriously. 'Speakin' from experience, sometimes the best thing is to get away from all the nigglin' influences and just let yourself breath' he whispered in his ear, sensing Malcolm had not retreated far and was attempting to eavesdrop on their conversation.
Caleb stared deep into Joshua's eyes and sensed something familiar within him, then he let out a surprised breath when Joshua disappeared as quickly as he had appeared.
'Well thank God that busybody's gone' Malcolm said happily as he appeared beside Caleb, placing a hand on his shoulder.
'Says you...leave me alone and just let me breath!' Caleb snapped, shrugging off Malcolm's hand and decided to ride on his own while the weather had improved slightly, to enable himself to think.
