"Oh goody, the parents are on a murder spree again. Don't you get tired?", asked an exasperated Kol.

"Shut up, you foolish boy. Let us see how your measly pack and the rest of you fight against these ancient vampires.", said Mikael, as the vampires charged forward.

Everything was a blur after that. Vincent joined Elexis as they tackled Esther together. The fight was so intense, that no one noticed what Elexis was doing.

Mikael and the vampires put up a good fight but they were no match for Kol and Marcel's strength, Freya and Davina's spells, and the pack's power. When all the vampires lay dead on the ground, and Esther had tucked tail and ran, Stiles let out a blood curdling scream. Everyone turned to look at him and he in turn was looking at Derek.

Derek, who had a sword sticking out of his stomach.

Derek, who had blood gurgling out of his mouth.

Derek, who fell to the ground as soon as the sword left his body.

Behind him, stood a smug Mikael. Elexis felt electricity just beneath her skin and moved forward at a deadly pace. She held Mikael at the spot through her powers and glared at him.

She wished for the white oak stake to appear in her hand and when it did, she wasted no time in plunging it deep into his heart.

As Mikael let out short pants as his body desiccated, Elexis ensured that the last words he heard were, "Good riddance, you piece of crap." Once she sees the body burn, she turns to see the whole pack huddled around Derek, who looks very dead.

Elexis feels tears in her eyes, when she couldn't feel Derek's life force. As she moved forward to offer her support to the pack, Stiles got up and looked at her with such animosity that she stopped dead in her tracks.

"You fucking bitch! This is your fault. You hear me? IT IS YOUR FUCKING FAULT. In what universe does this guy die and my pathetic excuse of a sister gets to live? We were doing so well before you came into our lives. Why? Why did you ruin it, huh? I never got to tell him how much I love him".

As Kol snarled, Freya and Davina stopped him from attacking Stiles. They realized that the young boy was heartbroken and probably did not realize that he had just thrown Elexis' biggest regrets right in her face. Keelin and Vincent supported Elexis and Marcel tried to get her to look at him.

Scott whimpered, "Come on, dude. You don't mean that. Look at her, she loves you!"

"Look at her? You want me to look at her? I don't have a sister, not dude, she's a selfish bitch who doesn't care about any of us! She's the reason Derek is… derek… oh my God he is dead!"Stiles broke down.

Elexis could not bear to look at him anymore. She collapsed on the floor as tears clouded her vision. Marcel spoke in hushed tones, "Lexi, keep your mind clear. Chill yourself. Listen to the sound of my voice. You're good. You did good. Mikael is dead"

A few moments later, Elexis looked at Marcel hazily and whispered, "None of that matters. My brother hates me. After everything, he hates me. She was right Marcel, she was right all along"

Freya bent down next to her and said, "Hey, don't blame yourself, Elexis. It's okay. Breathe."

Elexis stood up and thundered, "No! It's not okay! How can you say that? Oh my god, she was right! Everything she did was right", she blabbered.

Kol and Vincent looked at her with pained expressions, as they saw her broken face set into determination. She glanced once more at Stiles, who was huddled at a nearby tree and then moved towards Derek's body. She went straight to Cora and placed her hands on the younger girl's shoulders as she said fanatically, "Hey, don't worry! I'm gonna fix it. It's going to be okay, I promise."

As Cora looked at her quizzically between tears, she grinned maniacally and sat down, placing Derek's head in her lap and both her hands on the ground.

She begins speaking in an even, borderline dangerous tone.

"Nemeton Domine, nobilis lupum reddet ei filio."

When nothing happened, she repeated the same chant twice.

Derek did not move.

Cora fell to the ground and began sobbing.

Elexis glanced at Noah, who was comforting Stiles and looking at her with a questioning glance.

She said, "I love you dad. It will all be okay. I love you Stiles, you'll see."

When Stiles did not respond and her father looked at her with even more curiosity, she turned to her family from New Orleans and gave them a small smile, before she put her hands back on the ground and began.

"influunt in animam meam, ut vis te. Nemeton, tolle puerum te et det animam suam."

Before Freya could scream and stop Elexis from doing this stupidity, an unearthly glow surrounded them. A white beam of light emitted from Elexis' chest and was surrounding Derek. The pack looked dumbfounded. The light kept flowing from her, until Derek jumped with a gasp and turned over to cough.

Stiles yelped and moved forward, as he tackled Derek into a hug, which the latter returned with equal vigour. The pack jumped on them, but Marcel and the others rushed towards Elexis, who was sitting there without a hint of movement. Marcel gently called out to her, fear creeping in his voice "what did you do, Elexis?"

Elexis looked at him with a far off look in her eyes, a serene smile and moments later, she collapsed on the ground.

Everyone shouted together.

"Bloody hell", shouted Kol.

"Lexi!", exclaimed Freya and Davina.

"Oh damn!", said Vincent.

Marcel heard her for heart beat and exhaled when he heard a faint one.

"They're too far apart. How the hell is she alive?", asked Keelin

"Well, I for one, am not gonna question what goes in her brain and get her the hell out of dodge before she kills herself, permanently this time", said Kol, picking her up bridal style.

Noah whimpered, "what is wrong with my daughter?"

"Yeah now you want to play the concerned dad. Tell you what, round up the pack and meet us at Lexi's place", said Marcel disdainfully, as Kol and Marcel whisked out, Freya and Keelin following shortly.

Davina flipped her hair and looked at the pack, specifically Stiles, with disgust, "if Lexi dies, I swear to God I'll eviscerate you."

With that, Vincent and Davina also left.

The pack simply stood there, basking in Derek's scent, who stared wide eyed at what Chris was telling him, about how Elexis had brought him back from the dead.

They wasted no time before piling into their cars and driving towards the mansion.
