Chapter Two: Detention in stride

(Annabeth's POV)

Tuesday, September 27th

Room 604(Detention)

1:30 P.M- Goode High School

I entered the classroom and was shocked by how few students there were. As I walked past all the desks I spotted that Jackson kid. I then proceeded to sit two seats behind him.

I dropped my bookbag on the floor and sat there glumly, bored right out of my mind. Then I good idea. I took out a piece of notebook paper and wrote a note on it; crumpled it up and threw it at his head.

He turned to see who'd done it and when his eyes landed on me. he seemed pissed off. I nodded to the note on the floor, he picked it up and read what I'd written.

Thanks for getting me in here, dipshit...

He then proceeded to write down his note. Then he tried to throw it at my face as I did, but I caught it mid-air, giving him a nice try smirk.

"You're horrible you know that." He wrote.

"And you're an Asshole so I guess we are pretty much even." I wrote

As we kept throwing the paper written note back and forth, the last time I threw it, he figured it wasn't a good time to catch it. So it ended up falling in the front of the class.
I gave him a look that said "Good job, asshole...".

The teacher heard the noise, got up, walked around and picked up the note, read it then shouted.

"Detention for the rest of the week, you two." Mr. Blofis shouted.

Jackson dropped his head back and slumped down in his seat. I guess he doesn't like the sad fact that he'll be spending detention with me for the rest of this week.

I mean I could care less about having detention, but it doesn't matter to me. I smiled coyly.

Percy Jackson has no idea what he's in for.
