Chapter 2

As the bob of brown hair stepped off the train and into the city of Musutafu she took in a deep breath. The air felt different, She honestly wouldn't be able to tell anyone why.

She had only ever been in Musutafu once before despite only being two prefectures away. But this time she was here for business. Today was the day of the UA entrance exam, and she was in it to win it. She could already see the massive building up the hill near the other side of the city. She walked over to a taxi parked nearby and told the driver where she was going. He smiled and began his drive.

The morning sun shone through the windows almost blinding the girl. But even still a massive smile was plastered onto her face. The cityscape passed by her at speeds she could only see as a blur. But none the less she could tell, it was beautiful.

The taxi stopped in front of a massive gate that had the letters UA on the top of it. She handed him the money and then patiently waited on her change. She got out of the car and looked up. This is it, this is the place where heroes are born. And money was made. But that was beside the point. She saw a lot of other students walking in from all around her. One person had ashen blond hair that looked like he just blew himself up. Another one had fully pink skin and horns. But right in front of her was a boy with dark-green hair who was quite a bit taller than her.

She was too immersed in the myriad of different people that she lost her balance and began falling. Before she even had a chance to use her quirk to stop herself she felt something warm grab onto her. "Are you alright?" She heard the rather soft voice of someone, she shot up and stiffened her back standing as straight as a pole. She quickly noticed that her saviour was the guy with the dark-green hair that was in front of her. She bowed down with a speed that even All Might would struggle to keep up with. "I'm sorry!" She shouted toward the boy however, he just waved his right hand back and forth. "It was no problem." His smile carried a certain warmth with it. A new wave of energy filled the cheerful girl.

The girl watched him walk away and head toward the front door to the hero school. Then she had a thought. 'How did he know I was falling over?'

The ashen blond teen let out a groan. He had just watched that shitty Deku help someone. It seemed he hadn't given up on his dream of being a hero. And that was pissing him off. Even after all his "advice" that worthless piece of shit was still trying. Just when will he learn that being a hero is reserved for people like him. People with power.

His hands were smoking just thinking about it. However, he let go of his anger, he wasn't about to let Deku ruin UA for him. He walked in and made his way to the examinee's orientation before sitting down. He noticed that Deku was sitting away from him. Good choice.

A boring hero was on the stage telling everyone what to do. Of course, He already knew what to do. Step 1 blow shit up, step 2 pass the test. He looked at a bit of paper and saw he was in arena B. So he slipped on some gloves and made his down to the start of the course.

Group A stood outside the arena waiting on the start of the test, they all noticed something pretty weird. There, right at the back of the whole group was a single guy just talking to himself. Like having a full-blown conversation like it was normal.

A loud ring sounded throughout the area and the examinees all stood there for a second aloof. "Get goi-" The voice of Present Mic was cut off as the teen who was talking to himself shot through the group and was already making his way toward a robot. A lot of other teenagers all had the same thought. 'He's fast!' Even Present Mic was impressed with the boy's speed.

The first robot had a hand through it within seconds of the boy even entering the arena. And before anyone had even got up to where the first robot was the boy was already gone.

The girl with brown hair watched in amazement. That was the guy who saved her.

As Izuku leapt down the side-streets his fist tore through 3 robots in under 2 seconds. 'The first one was 1 point and you just took down two 1 pointers and a 2 pointer, meaning you now have 5 points.' 'Thanks, Kyuin.' Izuku thought answering a female voice within his head. He continued blasting his way through more and more of the robots, gathering as many points as he could. His fist went through the robots like a knife through flesh. The punches were clean and took out the core of each robot as he went. His power was insane.

He took out another robot and took a second to catch his breath. He may have a demon inside him but he was still a human. '58 points so far.' "Thanks." Right after this short conversation, Izuku felt the ground shake. He had been sticking to the side streets and alleyways due to there being less room so the robot were grouped together. He quickly made his way to the main street and saw what was causing all the shaking. A massive 0 pointer was tearing its way through the street. A lot of the examinees were running away toward the start hoping to avoid the big robot.

Izuku didn't know how but he heard a scream come from the direction of the massive robot. There past all the dust and debris was a girl under the path of the giant. "Kyuin, we're using it." Izuku said as someone ran past him and looked at him like he was insane. 'Wait but you haven't had enough time to practice.' The demon said back trying to get him to stop. "I don't care, someone is in danger!" Izuku shot forward and dodged all the debris falling off the building. "Devil's Domain!" Izuku shouted as a circle of darkness enveloped the area around him.

Devil's Domain is a skill that increases the stats of anyone the user deems friendly by 50%. Using his new strength Izuku leapt up into the air and slammed his fist into the robot's centre of gravity. Due to it being on wheels the massive robot toppled over and couldn't get back up. And now Izuku was being pulled back to the ground.

Izuku fell and was preparing to land on the ground with little trouble. However, he felt someone slap him in the face and then he was suspended in the air. He just kinda existed there for a few seconds before the brown-haired girl he helped while walking into the school placed her hands together and said "Release." Izuku then fell back to the ground and landed on his feet. He looked at the girl who was staring at him for some reason. He didn't know what to do about this "Umm thank you?" Izuku said and the girl began smiling. "It was no problem." She said mimicking what he said earlier.

Izuku smiled, he didn't know how to tell her he would've been fine without the help. So he decided to keep that to himself. "Ummm what's your name?" The girl asked still in the middle of the exam. "Izuku Midoriya, what about you?" Izuku replied back as nicely as possible. He was pretty confident that he had passed so he had the time to just talk for a little bit. "Ochako Uraraka." The girl's smile was beaming, he had never seen anyone as happy as she was at this moment. It was…infectious. Izuku began smiling back, It had been a while since he actually smiled. So it was nice.

Ring! The loud sound blasted out from the walls surrounding the makeshift city. The exam was over. The two made their way out of the arena just chatting while they went. "What was that thing you did?" Uraraka asked while looking at him curiously. "Huh?" Izuku tilted his head slightly at her question.

"That dark circle that you used. What was it?"

"Oh, that was what I call Devil's Domain. It expands the area of my quirk and makes me and my friends stronger." Of course, that question would be about his quirk. What else would it be about?

"So that's why I was able to lift the rubble. Thanks, you really saved me back there." Izuku felt something tug on his heart a little at her words.

Maybe she wasn't so bad.

The two left the school grounds and were about to go opposite ways so Uraraka asked to exchange contact information. Izuku did so before parting ways from his new friend- something which still he still couldn't get used to. Izuku walked down the street, the sun was blasting down on him. The heat was insane. 'You look like you had fun' Kyuin said with a somewhat sassy tone. 'Yeah, yeah I did have fun.' He couldn't see it but he just knew she was pouting. 'We've still got a month before we get the letter letting us know we passed. I can't wait to see how much you'll grow between now and then.' Izuku smiled as he gained a pep in this step.

The sink came to a stop as the woman continued drying the dishes. She heard the door click and open. "I'm home!" The voice of her son echoed its way through the house. She placed the dish on the drying rack and made her way to the door. "Welcome home honey." She said as her head peeked around the corner to look at the green-haired teen. Izuku made his way over and sat on the couch before grabbing the book he left on the coffee table this morning and continuing to read. Inko watched him with a certain amount of pride for the young man she raised. "What do you want for dinner?" Izuku looked up at the TV for a second, thinking…then a smile made its way over his face. "Chicken Katsudon?" Izuku said rather questioningly. Inko smiled. "Hehe you know I had a feeling you would say that."

She began making her son's favourite dish while doing some other kitchen chores. Her gaze wavered over to her son who was still reading. A smile graced her face. 'He's changed so much. It used to be where I'd never see him smile like this. He's so much taller now as well.' She was happy because he was happy.

They sat down and ate dinner together while Izuku recounted the day to her. From how easy the robots were to destroy to his first friend. While Izuku was talking about the massive robot his mother almost fainted but managed to keep herself awake.

Overall Izuku had a good day.

Authors note.

Hey boys and girls and anyone in between. Welcome to Chapter 2 of TPW. I really enjoyed writing this chapter. (Much more than the last chapter) I've always wanted to do something with Inko as a character because I feel like she doesn't get much love in the anime and manga. But after actually writing her I can see why. She is a hard character to write about. (At least for me. :)

Anyway, let me know what you think of this chapter.

The next chapter is for The Will Hero: Argonaut. (You should go and check that out if you haven't already.)
