So, the wait is over now. Let's get to this chapter

Don't do it Rin

By Ghazi

Later that day

"How could she be like this." Rin thought.

"It's one thing to not believe us but she's not even considering the possiblity of us being right" she really doesn't like how this is going.

"Rin." she heard her name being called.

"What is it now?" she didn't wanted to hear anything that can make her day worse.

"I want to talk." it was Gumi and she looked like she meant business.

"Does it matter anymore? Nobody's gonna help us capture him." she really didn't knew what to do.

"That's what I wanna talk about." Gumi was serious.

"Gumi you're wasting your time and your breath on something that we have no control over." Rin sounded really hopeless.

"But doesn't what he did outrage you." Gumi wasn't happy with Rin's words.

"You heard commissioner didn't you?" Rin said "It doesn't matter how I feel when she has power over me."

"I see." Gumi said.

"Besides she even said my first name, she never says it but that moment she did just to intimidate me," Rin was sad "and it worked."

"Look, I'm here to tell you tha-" before Gumi could finish what she was saying Rin interrupted her.

"You're also scared of commissioner? Yeah I know," Rin said "now let's just get back to work and hope someone else exposes him."

"Would you let me finish?" Gumi said looking really annoyed.

"Fine," Rin said "just get it out of the way."

"I suggest that we should find him, murder him, and attempt to get away with it."

... there was nothing but silence from both of them for a noticeable period.

"Gumi... is this really you?" Rin was blown away from what she just heard.

"Yes." Gumi answered.

"What happened to the person who always obeyed the commisioner, no matter what?" Rin still couldn't believe it.

"Yes, I admit that for years you saw me as someone who always followed orders and never questioned her."

"So what happened now?" Rin asked.

"It may sound surprising but I'm also human," Gumi said "and you see, those two were my friends too, and to see you internally broken for so long and seeing how nobody's doing anything for you, and seeing that you have no hope of getting things your way, I just can't help, I really wanna help you and I don't care if that's the wrong thing to do."

"G-Gumi..." Rin was having an emotional breakdown.

"Again I'm only suggesting this for you," Gumi said "if you don't wanna do it then I completely understand, we'll find another way."

"Oh..." Rin didn't expected Gumi to care this much about her.

"So, what do you say?" Gumi asked.

"I'm in." Rin didn't even had to think about it.

"If this ends badly," Gumi said "then we deserve it."

"I agree." Rin said.

Yohioloid was still in his office in the mansion unable to come up with the right plan. Suddenly, a spy of his arrived in the office and he looked really worried.

"You're back huh? Tell me what you found out?" he needed any information that could help.

"Sir, I was spying from the outside window of one of the more private rooms in the department." he said.

"And?" Yohioloid just wanted to hear the important part.

"Rin and Gumi have figured out that it was you," this catched Yohioloid's attention "but they don't have evidence and now they're plotting to kill you unbeknownst to the rest of the department."

"Sounds awesome." Yohioloid said.

"Sir, that's insane," his spy said "how can you be happy?"

"They'll eventually figure out that I'm here... and when they come here, I'll kill that blonde cunt."

"But sir that's not very wise." the spy said.

"Your point is?" Yohioloid said.

"There are easier ways, you can just order any single one to kill them at any moment." he said "why do something that's gonna make you even more of a suspect than you already are?"

"Look, I'm the one who's mad at her," he said "and I won't let anyone else kill her no matter what."

"But sir you can-" before he could finish Yohioloid interrupted him.

"Shut up," he told him "they're gonna come here, I'm gonna kill Rin and if necessary Gumi, I'm gonna remove all the evidence and frame someone else, then I'll take all of BIG AL's money and move to somewhere in Europe without getting caught, is that clear to you."

"Yes sir." the spy completely disagreed with the plan but he fears Yohioloid too much to actually say it.

"Good." Yohioloid is now 100% ready.

"This month already has been pretty crazy, I can't let those two make it any crazier." Meiko thought.

"Hey commissioner." one of her officers came.

"What do you want?" Meiko asked.

"I heard that Rin and Gumi think that Yohioloid killed Miku and Len." he asked.

"You've heard right." Meiko answered.

"Do they have evidence?" he asked.

"No... they say they did but not anymore," she told him "I refuse to believe them without it."

"But doesn't he sound suspicious?" he said "Len was pretty good at fighting and he was beaten to death and Yohioloid is one of the very few people who we know can do that to him, he also had motivation to kill them in Luka, and lastly he extended his contract to one day after Miku's and Len's murder and left the department that day."

"I've thought about all of that." Meiko was being honest.

"Then why don't you believe them?" he asked her.

"Because none of that is evidence, it's just reasons to suspect him," she said "and I do suspect him."

"You do?" he was pleasantly surprised.

"After he left the department I went to his house that was once Luka's gym," she revealed "they said he left the place months ago and now lives in some mansion that they know nothing about."

"Strange." he said.

"I can't let officer Kagamine and officer Megpoid know about this investigation," she said "they'll get emotional and officer Kagamine's gonna try to kill him and I really hate extrajudicial killings, I really do."

"I will always be fascinated by how brilliant you are commissioner." this made him like Meiko even more.

"Again, I don't know if he's guilty or not," she said "it could be that officer Megpoid's just trying to frame him because she always hated him and she's using officer Kagamine's mental health to her favour."

"Either way," Meiko said "don't let them know about the investigation."

"Yes ma'am." he said.

He was near the entrance way of the mention and IA and Piko were with him.

"Now listen," he said "I don't know when but Rin and Gumi are gonna come here and when they do you must fight, got it?"

"Got it." they said in unison.

"If you see them, beat them to a pulp," Yohioloid added "you can't kill Rin though that's my job, kill Gumi if you want."

He told them and went his bedroom.

"This guy is such a pain, why are we even working with this douchebag." IA said.

"Because he's paying us alot." Piko answered.

"I know," she said "it was a rhetorical question."

"Don't worry," Piko said "I hate him too."

"It's a hard life isn't it?" IA said "I wish I was a regular person."

"Me too, but what can we do," Piko said "we didn't wanted this life but through circumstances we have this life, and we must deal with it."

"I deal with it but that doesn't mean it's easy." IA said.

"I know," Piko said "you know... you're kinda pretty."

"Thanks," she welcomed the compliment "you're not bad looking either."

"Nice to hear it." Piko was happy from hearing that.

"We're getting ready tomorrow, alright Rin?" Gumi asked as they leave from work.

"I can't wait." Rin said sounding as serious as possible.

See you in the next chapter guys.
