The full moon overlooking the Kanto region shone brightly in the night sky. Like a great pearl in a sea of deep purple and dark blue, it watched the sleeping inhabitants like a watchful and protective parent. Not a creature stirred. Even those who called the night their home offered little resistance to its calmness.

Several miles away from the City of Viridian, in an isolated patch of the forest forgotten by man and pokemon alike, sat a creature as unknown to the world as it was legendary. The small pink creature flew through the sky, its gentle coos ringing through the night as it danced through the clouds and sang songs to the overlooking stars.

This creature was Mew, a beast that had become a Legend and myth to humans and pokemon alike. A creature of unimaginable power whose will and intelligence had guided countless societies and individuals throughout hundreds of years of its life.

It didn't seem to care much about that, though, fully intending to spend the quiet and calm night amongst the stars. It was lost in thought when it saw a familiar face, well, not face in a traditional sense. The Mew was far too high up in the sky to register something as uninteresting as a being's face. Especially a human, who Mew always thought looked too similar to one another to try to tell them apart.

But it was the presence it recognized. As a psychic type, one of the most potent psychics to ever draw breath, Mew was intuned with the life force of every living creature. It couldn't tell someone by their face, but it could read their hearts to recognize friends.

Every living thing had a unique and one-of-a-kind heart. It was the thing Mew loved most about people and Pokémon the most. No two of them were alike.

So when the Mew felt the pulsating heart of one of its favorite humans, it became excited. It raced through the purple clouds of the night sky before lowering itself to the tree line of the woods. It was exciting. It had been years since the Mew had run into this particular human. It felt like the years it had been separated from this human, and his journey had been far more boring than the years could have been otherwise if Mew had kept a closer eye out for the black-haired child.

The Mew popped its head out of a particularly tall tree as it watched the smoking embers of a once roaring fire to find the sleeping form of his favorite human and his loyal Pikachu companion.

Ash Ketchum looked...different. Mew knew that humans didn't evolve the same way pokemon did. But the young man before him looked as much like the boy Mew remembered as he looked far different.

Had it been so long since Mew had last seen this human? It wondered how much the boy had changed.

Mew closed his eyes in concentration, feeling the world slow to a crawl as he touched the young man's subconscious mind. Mew swam through the boy's thoughts and dreams, enjoying seeing the happy memories the man had made over the years. The faces of the friends he had made and the adventures he had taken part in. Mews's eyes widened as they saw the boy grow into a man worthy of being the Chosen one of Arceus and a man who still had far more to give to the world.

Mew always knew his favorite human was unique.

But there was also a sense of sadness in these memories. A sense of longing that clouded many of the thoughts Mew could read. Mews' favorite human missed his friends.

Life had gotten in the way of many of his friendships. Their own destinies and dreams pulled more and more away from him as he aged, and the young man felt the weight of his isolation. But Mew had a sinking suspicion.

Mew felt the world differently than any other creature who lived in Arceuses world. Yet, as Mew reached out to the faces he recognized and those he didn't know from the young man's dream, he felt an equal feeling of longing radiating from each one.

This was a problem that Mew could quickly fix.

With a chuckle and a small giggle, Mew pushed the thoughts and desires to the forefront of their minds. Humans were much more complicated than pokemon, far too tied to their insecurities and worries to give in to their emotions and wants. They needed just a little push in the right direction to let themselves be happy.

Mew was just there to supply the push.

Mew rose to the sky with a laugh, watching with glee as the young man's Pikachu companion awoke with a yawn. He looked around, startled by the feeling of being watched but slowly relaxing as only the sound of the forest answered his questioning stare. Another yawn racked the tiny electric mouse as he moved closer to his oldest friend and went back to sleep. Mew could only chuckle to himself again.

It was a good night, but it wasn't over yet. As the mythical pokemon flew through the night sky, its thoughts drifted to the good deed he had done for the young man.

He just hoped Arceus wouldn't be upset with Mew's actions.

Despite the peaceful slumber that held the City of Cerulean in its grasp, the young leader of the City's legendary water gym felt herself twist and turn as she slept uneasily. She just couldn't seem to properly enjoy the most wonderful dream she was having. Something was just… different.

But the Misty inside her own dream was only vaguely aware that something was different. It was just… her and Ash, together.

They were at a Festival together, one celebrating the maiden of the rock, a legend of lost love that had nearly cost their good friend Brock's life. But, of course, only Brock would fall in love with a vengeful ghost, especially a spirit that had been a Ghastly the whole time. Just an average day when traveling with Ash Ketchem.

But it was a memorable day for a completely different reason for Misty. This was the day Misty became honest with herself and her growing feelings for her best friend.

All because of that damn stuffed Tentacruel.

"Hmmm," Misty growled as she failed the test of strength game again, the unrung bell mocking her as she held the oversized mallet off to her side. "I always knew these games were rigged."

"They're not rigged!" the black-haired boy said, his tone condescending as he took some level of enjoyment watching his red-headed friend so flustered." You're just not good at it!"

"Oh yeah! Then why don't you try your hand then, huh, Mr expert!" Misty said, placing the hammer into Ash's hands." Go on! show me how it's done!"

It was a half-hearted joke at first. Misty was convinced that the game was impossible to win, especially for a noodle-arm-looking ten-year-old boy like Ash. He was unbalanced, almost falling over and dropping the mallet on his foot on his first try. Nevertheless, a part of Misty was getting ready to watch her friend lose, just like she did. Fully prepared for their mutual failure to become something they could laugh about later when they continued on their travels.

Bing!

"I did it, I did it, I did it!" Ash shouted as he held the stuffed plushie over his head in triumph, Pikachu dancing at the feet of his master in shared celebration." I told you it wasn't rigged!"

Misty remembered thinking how shocked she was when it happened, looking distinctly at the boy's arms to see if he had been hiding muscle on his frame she didn't know about.

"Yeah, yeah," Misty said, her arms crossed as she turned to look away from her annoying friend. "You can drop it n..."

Misty paused as she noticed the plush blue squid enter her vision. Ash handed her the stuffed Tentacruel with a smile plastered on his face. Misty couldn't help but think that the boy's smile made him look cuter than he usually did.

"It's your favorite pokemon, right?" He said, giving the plushie a small shack in his hand." You should have it."

The water trainer held the toy to her face, staring intently at its button eyes. She looked back to her friend, the smile still on his face as he waited for her to thank him or yell at him. Before her very eyes, Misty watched as the boy of her memories morphed and changed into a young man. He was tall and handsome, with the same messy black hair and warm dark eyes he had all those years ago. She noticed that his noodly arms were now packed with muscle, and Misty chided herself for doubting her friend's physical strength.

The world shifted again as Misty noticed that she was no longer a child as well. Although she was still a tomboy compared to her sisters and the same hot-headed redhead she was in her youth. Still, she liked to think her body matured alongside her personality.

Her older sisters always took a strange pride as Misty grew into her appearance like they were painters and she was their masterpiece.

"You won it for me?"

"Yeah, you know," he said, something different in his voice, "It's what friends do, right?"

Misty stiffened. She expected Ash to make a joke of it, some goofy pun or the like, or how he had gone through this whole thing to show Misty up, but… nothing came.

Her voice trailed off. The words she would say died in her mouth before she could speak them. She remembered saying a joke about how Ash was at least good for one thing back when they were children at the boys' gift. She remembered them laughing together and how she wanted nothing more than to kiss the boy right then and there.

But she wasn't a child anymore.

The world shifted once more as the crowds drifted away from them. The people and noise around them became background noise as Misty stared into Ash's eyes. Even Pikachu had seemingly disappeared into the crowd, leaving just… her and Ash. And a giant stuffed squid.

She realized just how close she and the young man were and how close she wanted to be to him. Which was normal, right? They were... close, but this felt... closer? Were they- were they still at the Festival?

Misty stopped paying attention to everything except the man in front of her. How good his lips looked to her. They looked so… inviting, so welcoming.

She wasn't sure who made the first move, but Misty suddenly realized that those lips were upon hers. They were softer than she ever dreamed they might be.

But those thoughts weren't finding any traction in Mistys' mind. Instead, her mind seemed lost in a fog, drowning within the kiss as Misty let her body move on its own. Then, finally, she pushed him up against a wall, taking complete control of the situation. She had been waiting years for this moment, after all. She wouldn't allow another moment of hesitation to keep them away from one another.

She felt his arms snake around her as he lifted her off her feet to get a better angle for the kiss. Misty became aware that her own hands traced the outlines of the man's abs and moved further down as her tongue battled his for dominance.

"Ash..." she murmured softly into his ear, "I want to try something..."

Misty Waterflower woke up with a jolt from her bed. Her face mirrored her hair color as she looked around her bedroom in bewilderment. She stared at the alarm clock, mocking her with its bright flashing numbers.

She would have chucked the screeching alarm out her window in anger if she was slightly less mature. Or let her Gyarados crush the annoying electronic device in its mighty maw. But she sighed and laid back down on her bed, realizing that what she had just experienced was a dream, almost enough to make her want to punch something.

Of course, it was a dream. Who was she kidding? If Misty had half the confidence as she pretended she did, she'd been with the boy of her dreams by now. But she didn't, so here she was lying in bed, alone.

Misty sighed again, noticing that Azurill had yet to awaken from her slumber next to her bed. The blue pokemon gently snoring put Misty at ease for a moment, but only for a moment.

Misty moved her fingers to her lips, savoring the feelings that lingered there as she did so. The dream had felt so genuine, far more realistic than any of the other dreams she had of the boy these past few years.

Was this a sign?

Misty steeled herself as she sat up from her bed, already formulating an excuse in her head to escape her gym responsibilities for a few days. Maybe even longer, depending on how well her plan went. She had waited for a long time, and if the dream was any indication, a couple of days might not be enough for her.

She reached over to her nightstand, gripping the stuffed Tentacruel against her chest. Despite the color of the stuffed toy fading and one of its button eyes missing, it was still perfect.

Her resolve strengthened as she looked herself over in the mirror, letting her red hair flow freely behind her head. Today was going to be the day.

Everything was perfect...

The grand hall was filled to the brim with spectators, cheering and shouting her name as she took her place on the pedestal. She had done it.

She had won the coveted Hoeen Masters invitational, one of the oldest and most prestigious contests in Hoenn. The pinnacle of many young coordinators' careers and the most personally satisfying moments of May Maple's life.

Well, second-most, she thought with a smile as she caught the golden glint of her ring finger.

She turned to the crowd, seeing her family look at her with pride and adoration. Her mother cried tears of joy as she watched her daughter take her place on stage, and her brother clapped so hard she thought his hands would fall off.

But it was the boy...no the man to her left that held May's full attention. The boy who had captured her heart so many years ago, without even trying. Even after many years, the man still made her feel like a swarm of beautiflies had nested in her stomach with just a smile.

She didn't realize how good the man looked in a tuxedo, especially one that matched her long black evening gown. Still, she quickly decided this would be a look her husband would be wearing far more of in the future.

"You were amazing, May!" the man said to his wife as he held her in his strong arms, the smell of oak trees and campfires filling May's senses as he pulled her closer to him. Ignoring the excited shouts of encouragement from the crowd. "I'm so proud of you."

May felt her heart flutter at the words as she melted into her husband's arms, uncaring of who saw them like this but unaware that the grand hall around them had changed. The crowd of thousands disappeared into mist as the great hall walls were replaced with the walls of May's bedroom as her husband gently laid her down on the bed.

"Why don't you show me how proud you are of me." May said seductively as she untied the navy blue bow tie off her husband's masculine neck." Mr pokemon master."

Ash Ketchen smiled as he leaned down to envelope May's body with his own, the sound of the pokemon coordinators' sighs and screams filling the bedroom walls.

/

"Oh, Ash..." the sleeping form of May Maple said as she tossed and turned in her sleep. Her smile grew more sultry as she bit her bottom lip, her vivid imagination becoming wilder and wilder."I didn't know you could be so ...Romantic!"

She giggled as her dream intensified, the feeling of the boy's lips traveling up and down her neck becoming more intense with each passing moment. She wiggled in her bed, twisting and turning her body to allow the Ash of her dreams easier access to her body. She kicked her thick comforter off the mattress to enable her lower body more freedom. The sleeping form of her Glaceon reacted with a confused epp as the comforter enveloped her formally sleeping form.

Mays' Skitty looked on in morbid fascination and curiosity. It wasn't the first time her master had said the boy's name in her dreams with a silly smile. She was just happy it was done in her own apartment this time and not under her parents' roof.

Skitty just never remembered one of her master's dreams being so..intense before.

Her master's breath caught in the back of her throat. Cocking back the scream or moan that would leave her lips as she arched her and lifted her body off her mattress. Before a sudden lightning strike from the rain outside shattered whatever illusion had taken hold of the young woman.

"OH MY GOD!" May Maple shot up like a bullet being fired from a gun. So fast and abruptly, she scared her Skitty half to death and caused the still half asleep Glaceon to accidentally freeze Mays' discarded comforter solid.

May caught her breath, an action that proved more difficult for the young woman than initially thought. Her body tingled, and her limbs felt numb. Minutes passed as the only sound in the room was the young woman's attempts to regain control of herself and the raindrops outside her LaRousse City hotel room.

She opened her eyes lazily as she regained focus on the real world. She looked around her bedroom for something or, more likely, someone and only found the concerned looks of her partners staring back at her.

"It was just a dream..." May said, disappointed at the realization. Before her eyes suddenly filled with determination. She reached for her phone, pausing at the home image of her and a black-haired boy smiling together after her fist contest victory all those years ago.

"I'm done running." She said to herself. Sending the appropriate emails to her manager and the LaRousse City invitational coordinator contest representative. Unfortunately, she would not be attending the festivities due to personal reasons.

She had more important things to do, after all.

She laid back down on her bed, a gentle smile on her face as she looked at the picture of her and the boy, the warm feeling she had felt in her dream returning full force.

She doubted she was gonna be getting much sleep tonight anyway.

Dawn felt cornered as she leaned back hard against the tree, her heart beating fast as she watched the figure approach her. She couldn't run, her body betraying her as she watched the tall and imposing figure get closer and closer to her.

"Well, well, well." the familiar voice said with a smirk."Looks like I won our little pokemon battle."

Dawn felt her body stiffen at the man's words as he watched her body heave and hitch, her fight or flight instincts running haywire as he stepped closer to her. He was strong, more so than any other man Dawn had ever met. He stood over her like an alpha Garchomp defending its territory. His eyes traveled up and down her body, silently appraising her. She suppressed a shiver as she instinctively readjusted her skirt to show off her legs more.

"And you don't have any money left, do you." the man said, removing his pokemon league cap and tossing it to the ground, letting his loose black curls hang over his face." Whatever will you do to pay me?"

What could she do? She thought as she rubbed her thighs together, watching the man get closer to her with each step.

He was in front of her now. His scent made her lightheaded as he ran his hands over her smooth skin. Finally, he gripped her cap and threw it to the ground. Her blue eyes widened at the feeling of the man's hands traveling up her skirt.

"I'll pay you." Dawn stuttered as the man kissed her neck, her eyes refusing to stay open as she was overwhelmed by the feelings." Anyway, you want."

"Good girl, Dawn." Ash Ketchum said as he leaned down to catch the coordinator's lips in a kiss."That's what I wanted to hear."

Piplup was concerned.

He watched intently as his master shook and twisted under her sheets, a mirid of sounds emanating from the young woman that Piplup couldn't begin to understand.

She was having a nightmare, that much was for sure, but Piplup couldn't think of a thing he could do to stop it. He had tried shaking her awake to no avail; he had even tried to remove her covers only to find that his master had a death grip on the sheets surrounding her.

Curse his flippers. He wouldn't be in this pickle if he were born with fingers.

He couldn't wake up any of his master's other pokemon. As much as he loved his friends, none of them would be much help in this challenging time. Mamoswine would crush and break something under its gargantuan feet by accident, not his fault, but undoubtedly unhelpful. Both Pachirisu and Togekiss were exhausted after today's contest. They needed their well-deserved rest, and as much as he loved Quilava, the fire pokemons' definition of "helping" involved lighting stuff on fire and hoping for the best.

While funny in some contexts, not helpful in the one right now.

Buneary was an option, but Piplup didn't want to think about the last time he got between the bunny pokemon and her beauty sleep. Piplup's cheeks were swollen for days afterward, and worst yet, Pickachu wasn't around to calm the love-struck bunny down if need be. This meant that the tiny penguin was on its own for the time being.

A giggle filled the room, freezing the water pokemon in his spot as he turned to his master.

Giggling wasn't something that happened in nightmares, right? That was clear as far away from nightmare sounds as one could get. He watched his master coil around her bedspread with a smile on her face as her hands rose in the air to trace over something invisible to Piplups eyes.

"Oh Ash..." his master said, biting her lip as she slept, arching her chest upwards as her pajama-clad legs intertwined." How did you know I liked it like that?"

Ash?! She was dreaming of Ash? Oh, thank goodness!

Piplup felt itself relax at the mention of the boy's name. It couldn't be a nightmare if his master was dreaming of Ash.

It was just another one of "those" types of dreams his master had from time to time.

The blue penguin should have known something like this would happen tonight. His master had declined the advances of several would-be suiters the day before. You'd think humans would understand when someone already had a mate? But Piplup could only shake his head at the whole thing, washing his flippers of the entire thing. But, of course, it wasn't his concern if human males wanted to embarrass themselves by trying and failing to woo someone not interested.

The blue penguin laid back down on his small bed as he covered himself with his small and fluffy blanket. Ignoring the increased volume and rate of the sounds his master was making as it yawned.

It was a good thing he didn't wake the others for something as trivial as this. After all, he didn't want to embarrass his master, and he had worked up quite a bit of worry over nothing! Piplup closed his eyes as he drifted off to sleep, wondering when his master would get to see her mate again to avoid this type of thing from happening in the future.

"What do you mean Iris left?" sometimes, being the president of the Uvona pokemon league was a thankless job, but someone had to do it." How could she just disappear in the middle of the night?"

"Don't look at me!" the young man hired to be Iris's handler said meekly." I can't control her. You know what she's like!"

Of course, he knew what the girl was like! The older man thought bitterly. What did he think he was being hired to do?

"The girl has two scheduled league challengers next month." the aggravated president said, reading the prepared list. "A rematch with Hilda in two weeks and a supporting role in Diatha's newest blockbuster set to begin filming in three days!"

"And you're telling me the most famous woman in the country just disappeared out of her penthouse on a whim?"That girl was gonna cause him to drink at this rate. The girl was a wildfire, to be sure, but the people loved her." Is that what you're telling me?"

"When you put it like that, I guess..." The younger man said, shrinking into his seat."It sounds like I really messed up, huh?"

"What happened last night?" the president questioned, his voice desperate for answers as he looked pleadingly at the younger man." She seemed fine at the stadium."

Iris had been in high spirits lately, more on her phone than average, but that was good, right? Social media was how someone engaged their fans and kept their brand strong. Of course, Iris had been combative about it at the start. Still, after reconnecting with some prominent figures, she quickly became glued to the thing.

So when she crushed her obligated challenger 5 to 1, it quickly became one of the most trended hashtags in the world. An acceptable way to end the night, the president thought.

"Well, after her match, she went out to dinner with Elesa from Nimbasa city and Skyla of Mistralton." the younger man added. Embarrassment crept into his voice as he remembered trying and failing to contain a semblance of decorum when seeing all three of the beautiful young women at once.

"Okay, good." the president said, trying his best to get a drop of blood from the stone." What did they say? Did they mention anything that could help us?"

"I don't think so?" the young man said, trying desperately to find something important in his brain." But, wait, they kept on talking about someone! A guy, I think? Al got'em? Dash Getem?"

"Ash Ketchem?" the president said, disappointment dripping towards the man in front of him dripping from his voice. Who's bright idea was to hire a guy who didn't know who Ash Ketchem was? "You don't know who he is, do you?"

"Am I supposed to?"

"He's one of the top-ranked pokemon trainers in the world."The president sighed, contempt for the man in front of him growing with each possible second. "The man would be a Champion with his own league right now if he knew how to say in one place for longer than a month."

The president grumbled. The sting of not being able to lock the infamous trainer to a long-term contract was a sore spot for the man. But that was a conversation for another day.

"Then what happened?"

"Well, Iris returned to her penthouse afterward, answered some texts, and took a shower. I don't know much after that because her Dragonite kicked me out after," The agent said as he referred to his notebook. "That was around midnight, and security footage puts Iris's departure less than five hours later."

So Iris went to bed, woke up randomly before the sun rose, and went on an adventure without telling anyone. That certainly sounded like the spitfire he knew.

The dragon queen of Unova was someone who did what she wanted when she wanted. It was that attitude that made her a household name across the country. It's what sold-out arenas and broke streaming records these days, any other day, he'd be glad to let Iris do this type of thing, but today of all days!

"And you checked with everyone you could think of, right?" the president asked, his tone desperate for something to make this day any better than it had already gone." You checked her social media, right?"

The young man paused, looking even more sheepish than he did a moment ago.

"You have got to be kidding me." the older man spat as he almost ripped his phone out of his pocket." She's been gone for hours, and no one bothers to check if she publicly mentioned where she was going?!"

That was it! He didn't care if it was 9:00 in the morning right now. He needed a stiff drink as soon as possible. So he opened the App only to find the terms #Iris #Kanto and #bootycall trending on the front page. He prayed to Arceus that these tags weren't related, but he knew he wasn't so lucky.

UNOVA-DRAGON QUEEN: heading out to Kanto for the mother of all Bootycalls! #aQUEENneedsherKING

The president placed his head in his hands and screamed. This was going to be a long day.

Serena awoke abruptly from the beep of her alarm clock, feeling more disappointed and angry than any woman had ever been in the history of womanhood. She glared at her alarm clock with utter contempt, seriously considering letting her mother's Ryhorn finally eat the blasted thing. But, eventually, she forced herself out of her bed onto her jelly-like legs.

Last night had been...amazing.

She had many dreams regarding the boy she fell in love with so long ago. It was rare when one of her dreams didn't involve the boy in some way, shape, or form.

During the first moments together, as she laid eyes on him for the first time when he swooped in to save her when she was sad and alone. Of how he seemed to make everything all better just by giving her a smile.

Of all the journeys and adventures throughout Kalos, they shared together. To all the friends they had made and all the sights they had seen. Moments of her life, she always wished she was just a little braver than she was then.

But none of those dreams ever felt so...vivid.

Serena felt a shiver rush up to her body as she relived last night's dream, the ghost of feelings sending electricity all through her body. The feeling of his hands all over her body! The warmth of his breath in her ear! Their lips on one another, ooooooooh...

"Oh, man."Serena moaned out, holding her shoulders in a vain attempt to control herself. "I can't think about all that now. I have to start packing."

She got up from bed with a flourish, throwing her sheets and comforter with reckless abandon, causing the poor love-struck girl to trip over herself. However, she caught herself before falling, earning a confused yawn from Sylveon as the fairy type lazily awoke from her slumber. By the time Serena had showered, she had sent out texts to her agents, manager, assistants, and publishers regarding her decision to take a short two-month vacation. Still, she added that she would be raring and ready in time for next year's season of performances.

When her makeup bag was packed and loaded, she had sent a private text to her mother declaring that "Today was the day!" Serena ignored her mother's text of a simple heart emoji as she chose which outfits she would bring to her impromptu vacation. This time of year, it would be summer in Kanto, which meant Serena could leave most of her winter gear at home and focus on which sundress she'll be wearing when she met Ash.

Or better yet, which sundress she'll be wearing for Ash to rip off after he throws her to the bed!

"That's right, "Serena said, her voice hitting a lower pitch as she spoke. "He'll use those big strong arms to pick me up and...and.."

He'll do whatever he wants to do to her. He'd grab and kiss her until she was left breathless in his powerful arms and against his broad chest. She'll soak in his scent of wild Combee honey and dense trees as he hoists her over his shoulders and carries her off to who knew where?

In the forest? With her hands gripping against a tree, trying desperately to remain upright as Ash takes her from the back, bringing her to climax with each powerful thrust?

On a riverbank? She'll be on her back as she stares up in desperation as her Ash would thrust each deliberate thrust inside her? The sounds of curious Woopers and Marills highlighted each passioned scream that left her throat.

On top of a mountain? When he would let her be on top of him! She'd ride him again and again as she traveled her hands up and down...

"Oh my gosh." Serena s face blazed with the sun's glory as she laughed to herself in giddiness. What was wrong with her? She felt like she was floating on a cloud, like the dream she awoke from had eliminated all doubt from her mind. This was happening. She was going to take that last step with Ash!

By the time Serena had decided to bring all of her favorite springtime sundresses, her first-class flight had been booked. She checked her appearance one last time to make sure everything about her was as perfect as possible.

Makeup? Perfect!

Hair? Perfect!

Outfit? Of course! Who do you think you're talking to?

With a now fully awake and excited Sylveon behind her, The "Queen of Kalos" lept outside her Lumiose city penthouse. She ignored the gawkers and paparazzi as she walked the streets, her eyes full of determination as she did so. Nothing and no one was going to stand in her way. That much was assured!

Lillie stared hesitantly at the door leading to Mallows' bedroom. Her friend and roommate always rose with the sun. She was smiling with a hot pot of coffee ready on standby and breakfast near completion when Lillie had made it out of the shower and made herself presentable to the world.

The clangs and clatter behind the door concerned Lillie, not just because of the frequencies and intensity. Her poor Vulpex had tripped over its own paws at the impact of a thunderous crash not a few moments ago. But because throughout the chaos, Lillie had seen not a hair nor hide of her green-haired friend.

Another crash broke through the silence as Lillie stared down to her feet. She looked towards her faithful companion Vulpex to give her the strength she needed to get to the bottom of what was happening in her roommate's bedroom.

The knocking was ignored, as was Lillies calling out to her friend to answer. Lillie steeled herself as she reached for the handle, her mind racing a hundred miles an hour as she slowly turned it. She didn't know what she was expecting to see, but having Mallow as naked as the day she was born holding a large suitcase over her head like some sort of treasure was certainly not it.

"Mallow!" Lillie shouted, shielding her eyes in embarrassment and shock at the tan beauty's nakedness and blase attitude." What are you doing?"

"Oh hey, Lillie!' the green-haired girl said to the blonde, as easy as she would describe the weather outside." Have you ever heard of knocking?"

"I did! B-but you didn't answer!" Lillie said as she waited to hear the sounds of Mallow putting clothes on before opening her eyes."Why are you naked?"

"I sleep in the nude." Mallow said, as easy as she would take a breath."You are in my bedroom right after I just woke up. You put the two together.."

"Just put some clothes on!" Lillie shouted, interrupting her friend with all the willpower in her petit body." If you don't mind, that is."

Mallow chuckled at her friend's reaction as she moved to put on one of the pairs of overalls that littered the floor. Lillie didn't dare open her eyes until she heard the sound of denim on bare skin filling her ears.

"That's better," Lillie said as she put her hand to her heart. She hated when her friend messed with her like that." So what's all this about?"

"I'm going on a trip," Mallow said with a snap of her fingers as she struck an overly dramatic pose. Mallow had always been so theatrical when the mood deserved it. It certainly made her day more interesting." I'm taking a little impromptu vacation to Kanto!"

Lillie stared silently as her friend continued to pack, humming what sounded like wedding bells. Mallow was always the most outgoing of their friend group. Lillie sometimes liked to think Mallow had caught her and Lana in her orbit and held them there like she was the sun. But going on a vacation on a whim? Sounded a bit of a stretch, even for the spontaneous green-haired maiden.

"When did you decide this?" Lillie asked as she watched the smiling woman pack the suitcase full of clothing and personal effects, looking as excited as Lillie could ever remember seeing her." All this seems so sudden."

"Well..." Mallow said as she sat on her suitcase, trying desperately to use her weight to lock the bag properly. "Last night, I had the most incredible dream."

Lille stiffened, her eyes widening in horror as her friend continued speaking, her memories drifting to her own dream from last night. The small wedding ceremony on her family estate, her brother, walking her down the aisle, the feeling of her new husband's lips meeting her own. The Honeymoon they spent together on the beach.

"It was amazing!" Mallow added, jumping off her suitcase as she collected items from all around the room. "It's like the universe smacking me across the face and telling me, "Mallow, you've sat on your but for years! Now go get your man!" it makes so much sense now! The clouds are gone, and the sun is shining bright!"

The green-haired woman hoisted the giant suitcase over her shoulders as she made her way to the door, freezing as she saw the look on her friend's face. Lillies pale features were burning red as she daydreamed about whatever she was daydreaming about. An action that made Mallow wonder just how much of her words had Lillie actually listened to...

"Wait a minute!" Mallow shouted, stopping in her tracks as she stared at her daydreaming friend." So you had the same dream, right!"

Lillie stood stunned, her mind trying and failing to find a way out of this embarrassing situation. She saw nothing, though, as she moved her eyes away from the ground to stare at the anger etched onto Mallows' face at the betrayal.

What she saw wasn't anger but a level of smugness that Lillie had rarely seen in her life, which said a lot considering the people she grew up around.

"I knew it!" Mallow said happily as she swung her arm over Lillie's shoulder, her eyes and smile bright enough to light up a room." This really is the universe giving us a sign!"

"W-what are you..."Lillie stammered, her mind reeling at the implied meaning of her words. She couldn't be planning what Lillie thought she was planning, right!?

Right?

"A polygamous relationship!"Mallow said, emphasizing each syllable of the word as she spoke." You, Ash, Lana, and I sailing off to the sunset together! As it should be!"

"Lana?"

"Of course! I'm not going to share Ash with you and leave our sweet little Lana to defend for herself," Mallow shook her head in the negative as if the thought of doing that to their blue hair friends made her sick." Nope, not doing that! We're a package deal after all."

Lillie remained silent, the thought of a polyamorous relationship with Ash making more and more sense with each passing moment. The idea of being with the man she had been in love with since girlhood and the best girlfriends she could have ever dreamed of felt right.

Marrow smiled again, seeing the hesitation slowly widdled away from the blonde's face. But unfortunately, this meant there was just one more obstacle left before they could accomplish their mission.

"Now you go get packed," Mallow said as she put a supporting hand on Lillie's shoulder. "I'm gonna go wake Lana up and tell her the plan, and we'll be on a plane to Kanto by this afternoon!"

A sudden knock broke the two girls out of their conversation as the two turned towards the still opened bedroom door. The two could only watch in silence as they saw the blue-haired Lana holding what looked to be a fully packed duffle bag and backpack. She looked pensive and nervous as if the world's weight had been placed on her shoulders.

"I have a favor to ask of you two," Lana spoke, her voice quiet but filled with so much steel it almost gave Lillie whiplash when she heard it. "Would you guys mind...coming with me on a trip?"

The smug smile returned to Mallows' face to Lillies shock and dismay, even smugger than before.

Ash felt an overwhelming sense of dread fill his body as soon as he stepped out of the shower. That's a bad sign.

He had learned to tell these types of things. But unfortunately, a strange feeling in his gut was sometimes the only sign he got before something crazy started happening. One didn't live through what he lived through these past ten years on pure luck alone, after all.

But he was in his hometown, away from the dangers and stress of being a pokemon trainer. He didn't have to worry about saving the world or fighting for his life.

"Besides." he thought to himself." Nothing ever-interesting ever happens in Pallet town."

"Pika pika." his partner said as he laid on the couch, idly watching the latest news report." Chu."

"I hear ya body." Ash said with a smile, stroking his friends' ears." It does feel good to be home for a little bit."

It had been a while since he had been home. His mom had been super excited about her birthday present, an all-expense-paid cruise around the world. However, she had nearly fainted when he presented the tickets and all the amenities he had secured her and her "mom friends."

He told her it was the benefit of her son having his own income since he was ten. He had more money than he could hope to spend in a single lifetime by this point.

Sure, he couldn't travel for a few months while his mom enjoyed herself. But housesitting his childhood home gave him an excuse to relax and hopefully catch up with friends. He missed his friends. All of them.

He moved towards the kitchen, intending to start the strenuous effort to make a breakfast a fraction as good as his mother's before the flashing lights of his phone caught his attention.

Great, he thought to himself. It's fully charged!

The thing had been an absolute lifeline these past few months. Keeping connected with his friends while traveling had been a real game-changer for Ash. Especially when he always struggled with keeping in touch with the people in his life.

He could have sworn he charged it fully before setting up camp in the forest outside Viridian City. But by the time he woke up at sunset the following morning, the thing had been deader than Brock's love life before he met Lucy.

He was iffy at first. But after biting the bullet and using the Rotom phone in ways that had nothing to do with pokemon, he could reconnect with way more people than he could imagine!

He was in group chats with gym leaders and elite four members, sharing training ideas and stories of battles. He was there to give Leon encouragement to finally ask Sonia out on a date. He was there to see Whitney post pictures of her Miltanks' new litter of babies.

He was connected with trainers from all over the world. Giving advice to all who asked and pointers for all who needed it. A week didn't do by without Rosa or Hau making him promise for a rematch. Or for Gary to tag him in the same picture of the sign he graffitied outside Mt. Moon all those years ago.

That had become a whole thing, with dozens, if not hundreds of different variants. Misty even tagged group photos of her and her sisters with "The Cerulean sisters were here, and Gary Oak will always be a loser!"

He almost set himself on fire at his campsite, laughing the first time he saw it.

It just felt good to see so many familiar faces every day. It had been an enormous relief to know none of them had seemingly forgotten about him.

He blamed his dad for the abandonment issues and even blamed himself more than once when he thought he had pushed more than one friend away from him on his journey. He remembered almost crying when he first joined social media. Within a few minutes of his profile being public, he had been flooded with messages and follower requests from his friends from all over the world. Each statement declared how happy they were to be able to speak with him and how it was about time he joined the rest of the world.

He still wanted to be with them face to face, but being able to see them all was enough for now.

But as he reached for the device, he froze at the number in deep red staring up at him from the screen. His confusion overriding his movements.

*You have 1,984 new messages*

That...that was more than usual.

He thought back to the last messages he read before calling it a night, wondering if something had happened to cause such an overwhelming avalanche of messages. But found nothing to explain it. With apprehension, he clicked on the notification, preparing himself for the worst, surprised by the overwhelming support and love he was on the receiving end of.

Brock, Tracey, Cilin, Max, Clement and Bonnie, Goh, Kiawe and Sophacles, Lance and Leon, and countless others had sent him long messages detailing how much they not only missed him and wanted to set up get-togethers in the future but how lucky they all felt to have Ash in their Lives. Ash teared up as he read the messages. It meant a lot to him.

He would have responded to them if the second type of message didn't catch his eye.

Messages that read like they were declarations of war! Cameron and Sawyer both demanded rematches to "Settle the score," and despite the respect as both a man and a trainer they held for him, they would go all out. Trip had demanded Ash drop everything he was doing and come see him in Nuvema. Paul had even threatened him, but not negatively? Ash was still getting the hang of how Paul typed messages out, but he didn't think there was actual malice behind the words.

He hoped so anyway.

But it was a fantastic feeling. To know that some of the best trainers looked at him like that! With the same respect and admiration, he looked to them.

But it was the third type of message that got the most significant reaction out of him.

Some were subtle at first. For example, cadence messaged him regarding how Snowpoint City was beautiful and romantic this time of year and how happy she would be if he visited her. She even sent a picture of her newest snowsuit...as she was bending over to show off her curves.

Lyra had sent a message detailing how lonely she was after her breakup with Khoury and how it would be enjoyable to travel together and "Teach one another new and exciting" things. But if the implication was lost on him, the swimsuit pic she sent with the message clarified it.

On and on it went. Photo after photo, with Ashes eyes getting bigger and bigger with each new scantily clad body he saw. Lingerie and bathing suits of every color and imaginable size, short shorts that left little to the imagination, all Zoeys and Nini's cosplay photos! It was a lot.

Some were very direct with their words, like very direct. Like Brock's levels of direct. A status of directness that left him feeling equal parts confused as he wall as the need for another freezing cold shower. Marnie just sent him a text that said "Soon" with a picture of what looked to be a plane ticket from Galer, He wasn't sure exactly what she meant, but if he went by the rest of the messages, he could take a guess.

He put the phone down, needing to take a break for his own safety as he willed the redness away from his face and the stiffness in his body. He looked towards his oldest partner, silently pleading for the rodent to do anything that could or even explain what was happening.

"Pika," the yellow mouse shrugged, looking at his master smugly as it looked over his master's shoulder." Chu-chu."

"That's not funny, Pikachu," Ash said, his shock breaking as his eyes became wider at his companions' words. How could he say something like that! It was ridiculous to even think something like that...right?

A new message pinged on Ash's phone, taking his attention back to where it came from. His breath hitched as he stared silently at the phone, gathering the courage to see who had messaged.

Sirens song: Yo hero boy. I was just thinking about you.

"Oh good," Ash thought as he caught his breath. He knew that nickname well, getting between internet squabbles between her and Misty on a near-weekly basis. Melody of Shamouti island. "A normal message."

Sirens song: I had one hell of a dream last night and needed to tell you something important!

Ash expected a meme, like the other times Melody messaged him privately. He didn't expect a photo of melody blowing a kiss to the camera while lounging in a bathtub filled with just enough bubbles to hide most of her body.

Not all of it, though.

Sirens song: I'll see you soon 3

Ash dropped his phone to the floor, his brain desperately trying and failing to reboot itself. Was this all a joke? It had to be a joke, right? There was no way all of his ...girlfriends felt that way about him, right?

Wow, that came out wrong.

A knock at the door was ignored as Ash mentally went through every possible explanation of what and how something like this could have happened.

Team rocket? No, that didn't make sense, even for them.

Someone had hacked all of his friends' accounts? At the same time? No, that didn't make sense either.

So preoccupied with his thoughts, Ash didn't notice the front door swing open as someone entered his house. Pikachu noticed, running excitedly to the newcomer with a smile on his face and a wag of his tail.

Is there a ghost pokemon on the internet? That was just plain stupid. Besides, Ganger would have warned him about a ghost infecting the internet when he first signed into his phone, so that's not it.

Ash's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of fake coughing, the type of coughing that someone used when trying to get someone's attention for something.

Oh

He turned slowly around only to come face to face, his childhood friend Misty staring at him with a smile on her face and Pikachu cooing softly in her arms. Ash chuckled to herself, wondering how long his old friend had been standing there watching him talk to himself. Or how he didn't hear her knock or even come in.

Or when Misty started wearing her hair like that!

"So, huh, how long have you been there." The young man said, his face red from utter embarrassment.

"Not too long." the redhead said, her tone teasing and light, whispering something into Pikachu's ear that Ash couldn't hear. The smile on the yellow mouse's face concerned Ash before the rodent scurried out of the house and into the direction of Professor Oaks' lab. "It's been a while since we've been alone, huh."

"Yeah..."

"I see you've opened up your messages." the redhead smiled, her eyes watching him like a Pidgy would a Caterpie. "So? What do you think?"

"W-what do you mean?"

The redhead didn't respond, only taking a moment to watch the young man for a moment. Then, before taking a step forward with her long legs, she took a deep breath before shoving the young man against the living room wall. She brought his face down to her own, crashing her lips onto his, so deep and so hard, Ash had thought he saw stars.

She let go of the man after a moment, smiling devilishly at the man's stunned face and red cheeks she had just kissed.

"We've only a few hours alone before the others show up." She said before pulling him back down into a kiss, Ash feeling like he was in the grips of a mermaid dragging him down to the endless depths of an ocean with each passing moment." I want to enjoy myself before I have to start sharing."

"Share?" Ash said, his voice quivering at the feeling of Mistys' hands over his body." Others?"

"I guess you didn't read my message after all," Misty said with a small smile as she stood up on her toes to kiss the man again. "That's okay. We all decided we could have this conversation when we were together. But before that...

Misty turned her body as she grabbed Ashes hand, leading him down the hallway away from the living room, looking back at him as she pulled him into his bedroom.

"I want to try something out with you."

The first draft of this story was WAY hornier than this turned out to be. Sort of glad it turned more cutesy than straight-up smut. Leave a review, favorite, and follow.
